Listening over the last 24 months, I’ve been able to FOLLOW THE LOGIC to gain understanding of HOW a “shadow banking system” operated with respect to the “Primary banking system”.
Very Interesting to say the least.
Sadly, this “shadow” theme is not only relegated to wall streets back office shennanigans. Apparently this “shadow” business exists in the U.S. Mortgage Market as well.
(Google: banks don’t sell many foreclosed homes)
In American real estate, the “shadow banking system” idea is extended in what has become a “shadow mortgage market”. Both entities exist in a similar fashion and bear the same fruit.
The “Shadow” markets are akin toThe “Shadow” inventory beccause (1) they hide the total inventory or value and (2) are used to “price fix”, inflate or manipulate in some way the price of what is availible in the primary “market” or “inventory”.
“Shadow” inventory or markets seem to be a staple in the european business model because of the reliance on scarcity to justify the price-fixing otherwise known as “supply and demand”.
