German daily papers report Deutschebank is again expecting 25% returns, and has renewed CEO Ackermann´s contract for another 3 years. How do they do it ?
@Danny – ha ha! thanks that was funny; hadn’t seen it
@davy germany – they do it because the collective we let them do it; most people still think that there is some sort of divine right of bankers/hedgefund managers/rich people to live differently because we have been brainwashed to believe that we might become one of them . . . many studies in the US have shown this as the reason for the country being the way it is
I’ve produced a portable summary of the major 9/11 truth claims in the form of a 240×320 pixel image– just the size to fit on a cell phone display. You can read it while you commute.

Max could apply
Max, how ’bout you apply for that job (PPT hiring) and take the system down from the inside?
It feels like easter with these easter bunny black hole eggs popping up wherever they can. People are getting sick of this this bank may need this, bad bank maybe need that. A “Stress Test” which is useless if it’s not to determine the solvency of the banks. And opaque Geithner plan which again, looks like he has no plan at all?
It’s nothing more than biding time with these new cunning symantics for example. That’s the main reason why the term “Bad Bank” had to dissapear out of the media. It just doesn’t sound good – “Bad.” With the term “Stress Test” you at least have the illusion that someting must be going on.Otherwise, why be stressed? Unless you are the working chair of Timothy Geithner which probably is the only real stresstest going on right now. Mine failed recently but that realy is a side issue.
These toxic assets become Phantoms of the Opera in which the final act in which the main character supposes to die dramatically is prosponed again and again by many in between acts. After the “Bad Bank” we now have the “Stress Test” act with a sub in-betweener, some accounting gimmicks to leverage the mood not the money.
These insane crony capitalist Geithner plans in a “pas de deux” with the Brotherhood are to make sure that the taxpayers money will be tapped out of the real economy more efficiently. You can’t deny the reality of the economy in which deflation is the major factor in the decreasing underlying value of the securities if they had any substantial value at all to begin with. They are in fact unsellable while at the same time there is a great need for sound capital. But you can’t pull a dead horse, can you? Maybe the anointed trust each other to a certain level but business is not done by creating new bubbles but real business is creating solid sound money for longterm future investments. Not pumping money around in a for that purpose crony resurected living/dead Frankenstein banking vehicle. And all of this from even more taxpayers money.
Get over it. Osama even admitted it was his plan. It’s just another reason for the US to avoid the question of ‘why’? and categorise people as ’sheeple’. Granted, it was a monster the US helped create. Take it to a science forum cos I couldn’t give a toss to argue over it. I’ve seen it all before and it all equals up to a pile of nothingness. What really should be looked as is the response and 9/11 truthers are a diversion from the criminal actions that took place after and the way the Republican regime ruled like despots over the US. Real facts might cause real emotion and actually mean real action has to take place. Most yanks are still riding the hope train to oblivion or watching Fox call Obama fascism with a smile or looking at crappy videos of 9/11 to actually do anything positive.
The only reason they stick to their right to bear arms is because they’re paranoid about their neighbours, they might as well stick em where they fit for all the good it does them while the govt and banksters robe em blind.

We can’t talk about the impact of the Corporate Elite without some understanding of the complicity of the Bureaucratic Elite:
Why do they accord him (Obama) high ratings? They are like the recently married bride who took her vows 100 days ago. It would be a disaster for her life if she decides that she really doesn’t like her husband. But she keeps noticing things about him that she can’t stand. It will be a while before she walks out the door or even comes to terms with her own doubts, but it is probably inevitable that she will.
For Americans to conclude that they disapprove of their president in the midst of an earth-shaking crisis is very difficult. But as Obama’s daily line moves from “I inherited this mess” to “There are faint signs of light,” the clock starts ticking. If there is no recovery for the next six months — and I don’t think there will be — Obama will inevitably become part of the problem, not part of the solution.
And then will come his heavy lifting. He has yet to raise taxes, regiment healthcare or provide amnesty for illegal immigrants. He hasn’t closed down the car companies he now runs and he has not yet forced a 50 percent hike in utility bills with his cap-and-trade legislation. These are all the goodies he has in store for us all.
@snoop
You’re living in a fantasy if you think a CIA-produced fake video of Obama claiming he was responsible for 9/11 proves anything. You might as well claim that JFK was killed by bullets from 2 directions by Oswald. The evidence and laws of science are 100% clear on the matter. 9/11 was an inside job, and you won’t change that fact nor shut anyone up by having a baby fit.
How can the `collective we´ see what DB is doing, and what to do about that ? If possible give answers that lead on to actions, not just mutual whingeing. Is election year here.
