Politicians’ moat & porn expenses – “The voters made us do it!”

Stacy Summary:   In a way, I suppose, the politicians are right.  After all, we allowed neo-feudalism to arise in the hopes that we might become house-flipping Lords ourselves one day.  So we kind of encouraged them to fleece us in order to build moats.  The Queen, however, is not amused by the shambles of her neo-feudal state!  I think she may get rid of this whole experiment with the Parliament.  What do the Brits out there think?  Better just to have one royal family sponging off the people to build their moats?  I mean, why have 500+ royal families for whom we peasants have to build moats?

Totally remarkable, do they actually think people will sympathise with them? Surly not?

  4. I guess y’all where well aware of the UK falkland oil grab ;-)

I think as long as its about money there’s not much to worry about. The Royals wield no real power imho. It is when money becomes irrelevant that the shit will hit the fan, because money has a history of both inciting and subdueing violence (fiat currency was reiintroduced in the us to stave up rioting soldiers in Massachusetts).

Thinking along this line the demise of fiat currency will inevitably lead to war, also because all kinds of agreements and contracts will have to be renegotiated under seriously different conditions.

Law enforcement is trained to work with perfect third reich mentality, but if the money stops these people will realize they are loving husbands and wifes in the same dire circumstance as all other civilians. Lawmakers and lawyers wielding their words will become powerless and will have to choose either to terrorize or be terrified (bush prepared the laws for the first).

I believe Cheney in the US is using his powers to regain control with succes (he has wall street on his side and the dems seem to be abandoning Obama). He’ll have no qualms about going to war, he’ll have no qualms about thowing the US into turmoil to retain the oligargs powers. His kind of power is infinitly more dangerous than the UK royals ‘Old Europe’ power. It is not based on honour, only on self assertion.

Always happy to cheer people up ;-)

The problem is they did nothing for fear of rocking the boat. They did nothing about the fact you were far better sitting on the dole then trying to get a job & own a home.

Labour TAXED-Borrowed-Spent, ran up mega debt both public & private……………….then the unthinkable came.

By Sept we be in Riots etc, the BNP will have done VERY well & major chages will be taking place.

Hold on wait.. MP Anthony Sheen has managed to apologise…Yeah Yeah…Great,Bye…Don’t Call Us..

Plus ‘MP Nadine Dorries has written in her internet blog that the atmosphere in Westminster amid the current row is “unbearable”.

She said: “People are constantly checking to see if others are OK. Everyone fears a suicide. If someone isn’t seen, offices are called and checked.”

Reminds me of hoe I fee about la couple of the regulars who post here…..Only joking I know we’re all gonna be alright..

What I find most amusing about this story are recent reports that a psychiatrist has been called for MP’s who are feeling stressed …Don’t worry about us we’ll be fine…..

  14. Regarding slacktivism, let’s ask why people are at risk of police brutality and arrest in the first place. Why were some activists charged with terrorism recently at the RNC? Why has the USA building mass internment camps for years now, with a ramp up under GW Bush? It’s because the people at the top, like David Rockefeller, want to bring out something like fascism. They look at the Chinese police state not with disgust but with fascination and admiration. And they’re implementing fascism in the USA.

  15. Here’s an excerpt from an e-mail I received from a friend in Glasgow on the subject of Britain’s house-flipping, tampon buying Lords. . . and the Ladies who buy publicly funded Laura Ashley throw pillows for the gilded duck cages that decorate their moats:

“I’ve just watched a programme about bankers in Britain and how they are still paying themselves huge salaries (tax payers money) even after their banks have failed and are now owned by Joe public. The most interesting fact is their salaries are supposed to be overseen by independent parties – guess who they are? – the heads of other banks of course, a nice little enclave (wish i was part of that magic circle)
I’ll give you a million bonus if you give me a million. Let me consider it deeply, yeah okay . . . Of course the biggest scandal in Britain at the moment is MP’s expenses – it beggars belief. Expenses may be claimed for second residencies (payed for by the tax payer) if deemed necessary for parliamentary work. Some items claimed for include a moat, tampons, a £17000 bookshelf, £2000 for potted plants, £3000 for a TV (that was the Justice Minister!!!) The list is endless. What a bunch of thieving B’s to think they are given the title honourable before their names. I think the Queen should make herself useful for once and dissolve parliament.”

  19. I am very suspicious about the enthusiasm of the UK press in pushing for a different type of parliament. I’m not saying it isn’t needed but normally the press ignore anything that might be ‘good’ for the people, instead they do what is good for those who own them (the zionist mafia). So the question should be what are the mafia going to get out of this. There is talk of our sovereignty being handed over to America (for America: read Oligarchs/mafia).
I don’t know which way this is going to go. I want us to hold onto our own sovereignty but it appears it may already be too late for that:-

Now there’s a good question. If I had to guess I would say Yes. The reason being that the queen owns a sixth of the land in the world and her economic advisor is apparantly none other than Mr Rothschild. If that is true then she has alot of power but she won’t (and never has) use that power to benefit her people.

  31. “After all, we allowed neo-feudalism to arise in the hopes that we might become house-flipping Lords ourselves one day”

And we still do that, until the feodalism finally comes. IMO with annual 3% property tax, we would not need to worry about the power of oligarchs. Without real estate and economic rent as their toll booth to real economy (labour and capital), they would not have one. Perhaps then we should worry about the power of labour.

“What do the Brits out there think? Better just to have one royal family sponging off the people to build their moats? I mean, why have 500+ royal families for whom we peasants have to build moats?”

I prefer the Queen anyday !
    Howzat !

I am not a royalist as such , but the British Queen is a special case.
I cannot understand all the rubbish uttered by the anti-Queen people.

She costs each UK Citizen NOT EVEN 1 GBP PER YEAR .. for starters !
Compare that to what your Government takes off you in the way of Taxes etc.
The Queen’s sightseeing attractions bring in 500 mio. GBP per year in tourism.
And if anyone wants to complain about her being rich … well, she got there LIKE ALL OF US DID … through History, i.e. it’s her right to be rich. If you disagree with that, then I suppose you would want to revoke all events going back through history that lead to people and nations getting to where they are today, i.e. rich or poor.

    As to her job :
She works hard 345 days per year – for the country, charities etc. etc.
I would NOT want her job for all the money in the world.

    As to her function :
Although she is not allowed to be politically active, she oversees parliament and can dissolve it three times if she deems this to be in the best interests of the country. This a safety valve that will protect the people from a tyranical Govt. .. eg. Hitler, Stalin etc. etc.
And be sure, the allegiance of the armed forces will be to the Queen and NOT to parliament … thank God.
She also has met and advised almost every important representative of countless countries since 1952, and therefore has a wealth of knowledge, experience and advice , which she gives “free of charge”.

So yeah .. you may all laugh , but it will be a sorry day if the UK loses it’s monarchy.

  38. Now keeping yourself informed and discussing politics makes you a slacker ?

I don’t dare to think about how this guy would judge evening news watchers.

  39. Apart from the virtual money world to be a bubble.
We would often forget the very real bubble everyone can see, but would neglect it since it constitutes its time.
It’s the modern architecture, modern art, all an “investment” into ideals that have little to do with the standard for art in all time before the twentieth century. NATURE!
As much as most money and investments are not AT THE SERVICE of reality.
But in fact giant clouds disturbing the light of the sun.
So is architecture, and in fact all composure of the modern world.
There are too many expenditures and investments made into airflight, tourism accommodations, luxury, souvenirs,…
Cars as well as luxury should now go in decline.
HOW COULD WE NOT APPLAUD! SMILE! BE HAPPY YOU WORTHLESS FUCKERS!
    Now.
Since none of this composure our modern world is useful, we will do something entirely different now.
    WE WILL START FROM SCRATCH!

First since tourism will be in decline we will have a need for profound cultures again.
LIVING cultures again in stead of the dead cultures you observe, and in fact having no culture or architecture of your own?!

In the end objective analysis and objective analysis in activism too is doomed.
We need to come up with practical ideas, mainly for gardens next to every city to provide with vegetables and some meat without transportation.
We need in stead of modern arts local artists who understand and master classical architecture and culture to take over development… and we have to get rid of architects who are more or less indoctrinated with cheap and mass production mansions small or large alike.
We need to get people out of mass produced furniture.
As we can see this entire idea of modern age come to an end.
And we must promote any demise or doom and scream of it and call for it as loud as we possibly can.
Much like pirate my film we could set up funds for every city to buy land for gardens for self provision… we would advocate the abolishment of decorative gardens and see for people to connect there gardens, holding chickens for every fifty family’s, so every street would have a garden with some chickens… we would have vegetables for most gardens in the street… this relying on the economy is OVER! We are like grown ups still sucking on the whithered tits of our seventy year old mother… we need to CUT OUR TIES!
People like Michael Moore and those likes begging for coorperations to become ethical are not only wasting their time, they are corrupting the solution for environmentalism and culture, to make cooperations ethical would actually make NON culture and LACK OF TIES to nature sustainable, and home grown goods and crafts and artisan products and local products.
Even if the crisis has nothing to do with the VERY REAL deficit of what the economy represents, the complete nonsense that the economy is as a waste and tax generating culture, it HAS such venomously beautiful possibility’s to finish the whole thing much like any age in the past has finished. the reason why is unreal, surreal, the outcome is VERY relevant, and the demise is long overdeu. If at all it was actually ever viable for it to exist.

  40. @Frederick,……….WOW!!

  41. actually i added a few things, but i have written about it and explained it so many times, and received so many people staring at me… that your reaction is VERY pleasent for me.
if you like that, here is something else i deem rather nerve wrecking an ideal…
Secondly… technology can constitute foremost a use in exploration and transporation. However, and entirely against observations made by anyone in popular media or anywhere on earth. Roads are FULL! This is a composure easily seen to be fraudulous and unreal to an artist… especially someone who can understand history as much as today. It is UNREAL, it is a FANTASY!
Much can be argued, the actual necessity of technology is not found to be on earth… everything is literally clogged, actually uses for technology and transportation are in SPACE!
In this light, easily one will calculate high quality alloys used in peoples pots pans and city garbage cans, could serve a space fleet to venture to Mars and Moon.
Cellular phones can be its navigation equipment, and modern train stations on earthlike planets resemble BIOSPHEREs a LOT more then actual earth train stations.
If no one will observe what looks like a practical joke like I would explain it to you here in this way, this joke at my expence to believe it in great part, can become a practical joke on humanity simple walking around on this world and NOT having seen it.

  42. Mr Supergeek

    @Dedo
    Ditto!

  43. @ Phil,
    You’re having a laugh aren’t you?
She got there because her ancestors raped, pillaged and murdered.
She may only cost £1.00 per person per annum but to me that is £1.00 too much of my money. IF she did her job, ie. looked over parliament then maybe, but she doesn’t – she does NOTHING for the people and is very much part of the oligarchy and their ruthless destruction of whole nations around the world. And to compare the amount we pay her with how much the US pay for their gov. Well that’s not comparing like with like. Our UK gov. is costing us a fortune and we have more MP’s in our small country than they have in the US. It’s just one gigantic gravy train.
But the main bone of contention is what that bloody woman stands for – ostentatiousness to the extreme with the blood of millions on her hands. In the 21st century we should not have one family looked upon as superior to everyone else, especially when you consider the havoc they have wreaked throughout history.
I would take your point on the position being to provide checks and balances but she can’t even be bothered to do that job. Besides which she broke her coronation oath decades ago and for that she should be tried for treason.
So NO, I’m not a fan!

  44. @fedrick, Imho starting from scratch is the lazy and wastefull approach. You want to use what is there and fits your world view, not destroy all and then have to rebuild it all. It sounds childish to me in the same way a child wants a blank new page for every scratch with his crayon..

It is wierd how the media cite obvious abuse like was to be predicted. It seems clear that if you follow the legal procedures you will always be on the defensive (have a right to protest after you have been mistreated), yet this is another one of those cases where the other gazelles shrug and graze on while the weakest gets mauled..

  47. @ mother earth…
you just took one remark and you did not note my criticising of luxury, i have corrected and expanded my text… and i add that we are dependant on oligarchy only for luxury goods, if we simply sacrifice some of the luxury we can still have better standards then nineteenth century aristocrats… that is all we deserve… but no, all modern hysteria is about the thought people should gladly travel to the other side of the world three times a year. my own program is broad and entrails many different points, please try your best to understand each of them.
don’t give me unconstructive criticism, i want to fight first and agree later… pleaaaase, lets fight first and agree later, or we will never make it.

  48. @fredrick okay okay..

How about a protester exchange where people can share the cost of professional activist that will then go out onto the street..

Or a futures market based on the profits of benificiaries for new legislation. The money raised can be spend on lobyist making sure the laws get implemented..

there should be money to be made on both sides..

  52. Americans sense something is wrong. The thirdworldization of the inner city–quickened as part of the blowback of the 60′s counterculture movement–tips the suburbs off to a potential fate awaiting them. Thankfully, on the other hand, the inner cities in the US are cultural hot spots, seemingly in a perpetual community forming rebellion.

Because of the internet, the millennial generation has been exposed to an array of entertainment and news mediums reflecting the alternative internet culture. Whilst the scientifically attitudinized corporate media harnesses the mass psychology of the country, a mini awakening is in progress. There very well may be a tipping point at which individual epiphanies affect the collective consciousness so, that they become increasingly contagious, whereby the intellectual and emotional revolution–the only form of revolution the US citizenry might survive–makes inroads towards reorienting the trajectory of the nation; that is, simply put, ending the occupation of North America by the US.

What are the prospects for inactive popular ferment? Such an approach does present the hoi polloi with a rather radical option: withdrawal from civilization and the subsequent internalization of authority away from monopolistic institutions, as well as the flowering of a region-based philosophy. There is the concept handed down to us by eastern philosophies known as wuwei, or inactive action. Was this a premonition of a future path for a more humane humanity?

    http://www.theage.com.au/national/5cent-piece-not-worth-a-cracker-20090522-bic4.html
    ==================

Australia and NZ have scrapped their
    1c
    2c
    5c
    10c (NZ ONLY)
coins as a matter of fiscal practicality, and to keep the cost of the coins in circulation reasonable.

Neither nation has a 25c coin due to decimalization in 1966 and 1967. As Canada was one of the first colonies to go decimal in 1866-68, there is a 25c coin.

Don’t be fooled, you can get used to 20c coins in about a week.

Canada has failed to scrap its
    1c
    5c
    10c (a possible consideration)
coins out of some slave colony mentality with respect to the US — the very opposite to the other White colonies.

In the beyond totally corrupt regime of the American Imperialists — when it takes a wheelbarrow full of trillion dollar bills to buy a candy bar (or a lolly) … THE US MINT WILL STILL BE MAKING PENNIES!

The case rests on its own evidence.

  65. PS:

You get your pennies back if you do your transaction via EFT — otherwise your change is derived via SWEDISH ROUNDING.

  66. In regard to people putting up with feudalism – nothing has really changed in hundreds of years.

The Brits have been putting up with those inbreds for so long it’s a huge joke. No wonder they’re all alcoholics.

The Queen is a lizard. Sorry, but someone had to say it.

  67. @mother earth;
YES YEEEEEES! thats it! though i have seen even more lavish, but i saved these… do you think i think this is NOT art, of course it is, i have a collection of nineteenth century engravings you know.
wish you could see my own art.
do you have myspace? i don’t understand how one can contact someone privatly here?!

  68. There seems a certain inevitability in the series of events we are all spectating upon. With both Cheney and Queen attacking their respective democratic institutions days after bilderberg closes. Coincidence ?

With the underestimated benefit of hindsight the credit crunch was not fiscal incompetence by dopey middle-class wannabees, but a basic theft by the elite, although the citizen zombies did contribute to their/our own downfall.

From ID cards and the DNA database to the establishment knobbling of parliament (a process which has been taking place since the days of Harold Wilson and Lord Mountbatten) a battle for the hearts and minds has been in force.

The BNP are the spectre always hovering to take advantage. Whilst references to sheep are lazy, the metaphor of the lay being rounded up ready for slaughter by the elite is not too far fetched.

Judging by the queen image in the blog post, I would assume it is a daily mail/express image. Both pro-establishment rags in the UK. The expense whistleblower is also establishment, an sas officer. The interbreds depend upon the rest of society for their survival, and we make it very easy for them.

So we scrabble around looking for market-based clues like loopy old-timers watching tea-leaves dry. The science is being replaced with mysticism and wisdom recedes.

I am not sure where this leaves the truth about markets, truth – a luxury at the best of times – needs to be re-anchored to the events of the last couple of years otherwise we are looking for clues in the wrong place.

Are exchanges really useful when all of the data is open to manipulation. We all accept gold price is massaged, yet openly offer quotes and guidance based on the broken information matrix.

I lack the knowledge to offer a new set of co-ordinates for accurate market analysis – unfortunately its seems, so do many of the experts (excluding M&S)

  69. @fred I rather appreciate the relative anonimity, voicing opinions ins blauwe hinein.. ;-)

Corporate media are really painting gold black (‘irrational’,'worst idea I ever heard’,'no interest’). How did we end up with such malignant informers?

  70. not interested, that rings a bell, i have thousands of pages of ideas but they are just a little bit too venomous and determined. and entirely misplaced in an age of joy and going nowhere.
if you know where the anarchists are, let me know.
its not i want to come on to you…
but i get paranoid talking like this…
shall we talk about world politics some more in dept? this thread is probably out of date now, so lets “plot sinister plot against society”… much like Breton stated on an early surrealist.
THE SURREALIST BLACK HUMOUR IS betrayed! they flattended,it, sugared it on top, and stolen its irony for commercial purposes… they are sick creatures.
and how can we provoke now when we are left in our own little corner?! they do not just say “not interested” did you see the arrogant look of being stubborn in stupidity when they say it to us?

  71. Mr Supergeek

    @fred

I with ya Dude… but could you just slow down a little as this is my first day without my 7o year old mothers withered tit, and I’m still haven’t finished building my spaceship out recycled garbage and my mobile phone…Tell ya what will you loan me your spaceship!….I promise I’ll let you have it back…

P.S. I have made us some T-shirts that say ‘I am not one of you, but I would like to make you one of us’

  72. @supergeek…
you scare the shit out of me.
this was by no means hostile or cynical right?
    you were just fooling around?
you don’t like my style of arrogance maybe?
i just blame all see who has character really or gives me something back that is somewhat more insane or free.

people paying attention to me scare the shit out of me though.

i’m not fond of Tshirts, i like banners more…
you think i’m too induvidualist or something?

  73. Mr Supergeek

Keep your spacship then, I don’t need it ….Last night I embarked on my thrice yearly ritualistic alcohol and drug induced spirit quest /journey…i dont intend landing back on earth till thursday at the earliest…But….Please, please keep posting, and if you want me to pass on any messages to our spiritual ancestors just let me know….blowback trade anyone?…peek a boo Y’all.

  74. I don’t think the forms of activism is the problem. It is not an either /or, problem.
Icelanders took to the streets almost everyday to force a general election.
Mass action is hard to predict.
Facebook groups may be larglely tokenistic but that maybe because, the oppositional groups are too marginalised.
What if the dollar and pound sink.
The situation will be unprecedented and there seems to be very little leadership out there up to the challenge.

I am personally against dynasties of any sort. In an historical sense, a Monarch was selected by Divine forces to avert social decline into a Hobbesian “State of Nature.” Since said Monarch was above the restrictions of mortal morals, his or her reign would lead ultimately to an unintended, dissipated order.

Consider the offspring of the Queen, today. Would any rational person care to be ruled this out-of-control gaggle of arrogant, inane, irrelevant, spoiled brats? The institution of the Monarchy is utterly passé. There is no greater, or more appealing authority than that of an informed, involved citizenry.

    Royal Family: GET LOST!

Times in the UK are tough. The wonderful Jaguar may soon suffer a name change to “Tatamobile.” Should that happen, this venerable brand would lose much of its patina. And so, a farewell song:

    JAG-U-AR
    by Denton Fenders

If you’re not feeling worthy don’t
    Go moping in some bar,
Just sit behind the steering wheel
    Of your new Jag-u-ar.
The best revenge is living well -
It hits them in their pride.
While their cloth seats show ugly spots,
    Your leather’s clean, inside.

    Jag, Jag, Jag, Jag, Jag-u-ar,
    You’re a highway superstar.
You’re on top – that’s where you are,
    When you drive your Jag-u-ar!

At your reunion they will know
That you have gone quite far,
When you block their means of escape
    With your new Jag-u-ar.
And let them know by God’s Great Grace
    This car you can afford,
Before they drive home in disgrace
    In their old klunking Fords!

    Jag, Jag, Jag, Jag, Jag-u-ar,
    You’re a highway superstar.
You’re on top – that’s where you are,
    When you drive your Jag-u-ar!

But please be careful where you park,
Or you might get a scar:
The vermin don’t respect the space
    Around your Jag-u-ar.
If they park close, just tow them off
Then beat them ’til they bleed.
    Teaching manners to driving scum
    Is such a noble deed!

    Jag, Jag, Jag, Jag, Jag-u-ar,
    You’re a highway superstar.
You’re on top – that’s where you are,
    When you drive your Jag-u-ar!
