Politicians’ moat & porn expenses – “The voters made us do it!”

Stacy Summary:   In a way, I suppose, the politicians are right.  After all, we allowed neo-feudalism to arise in the hopes that we might become house-flipping Lords ourselves one day.  So we kind of encouraged them to fleece us in order to build moats.  The Queen, however, is not amused by the shambles of her neo-feudal state!  I think she may get rid of this whole experiment with the Parliament.  What do the Brits out there think?  Better just to have one royal family sponging off the people to build their moats?  I mean, why have 500+ royal families for whom we peasants have to build moats?

    Americans sense something is wrong. The thirdworldization of the inner city–quickened as part of the blowback of the 60′s counterculture movement–tips the suburbs off to a potential fate awaiting them. There very well may be a tipping point at which individual epiphanies affect the collective consciousness so, that they become increasingly contagious, whereby the intellectual and emotional revolution–the only form of revolution the US citizenry might survive–makes inroads towards reorienting the trajectory of the nation; that is, simply put, ending the occupation of North America by the US.

    What are the prospects for inactive popular ferment? Such an approach does present the hoi polloi with a rather radical option: withdrawal from civilization and the subsequent internalization of authority away from monopolistic institutions, as well as the flowering of a region-based philosophy. There is the concept handed down to us by eastern philosophies known as wuwei, or inactive action. Was this a premonition of a future path for a more humane humanity?

    Australia and NZ have scrapped their
    1c
    2c
    5c
    10c (NZ ONLY)
    coins as a matter of fiscal practicality, and to keep the cost of the coins in circulation reasonable.

    Neither nation has a 25c coin due to decimalization in 1966 and 1967. As Canada was one of the first colonies to go decimal in 1866-68, there is a 25c coin.

    Don’t be fooled, you can get used to 20c coins in about a week.

    coins out of some slave colony mentality with respect to the US — the very opposite to the other White colonies.

    In regard to people putting up with feudalism – nothing has really changed in hundreds of years.

    There seems a certain inevitability in the series of events we are all spectating upon. With both Cheney and Queen attacking their respective democratic institutions days after bilderberg closes. Coincidence ?

    With the underestimated benefit of hindsight the credit crunch was not fiscal incompetence by dopey middle-class wannabees, but a basic theft by the elite, although the citizen zombies did contribute to their/our own downfall.

    From ID cards and the DNA database to the establishment knobbling of parliament (a process which has been taking place since the days of Harold Wilson and Lord Mountbatten) a battle for the hearts and minds has been in force.

    The BNP are the spectre always hovering to take advantage. Whilst references to sheep are lazy, the metaphor of the lay being rounded up ready for slaughter by the elite is not too far fetched.

    Judging by the queen image in the blog post, I would assume it is a daily mail/express image. Both pro-establishment rags in the UK. The expense whistleblower is also establishment, an sas officer. The interbreds depend upon the rest of society for their survival, and we make it very easy for them.

    So we scrabble around looking for market-based clues like loopy old-timers watching tea-leaves dry. The science is being replaced with mysticism and wisdom recedes.

    I am not sure where this leaves the truth about markets, truth – a luxury at the best of times – needs to be re-anchored to the events of the last couple of years otherwise we are looking for clues in the wrong place.

    Are exchanges really useful when all of the data is open to manipulation. We all accept gold price is massaged, yet openly offer quotes and guidance based on the broken information matrix.

    I lack the knowledge to offer a new set of co-ordinates for accurate market analysis – unfortunately its seems, so do many of the experts (excluding M&S)

    not interested, that rings a bell, i have thousands of pages of ideas but they are just a little bit too venomous and determined. and entirely misplaced in an age of joy and going nowhere.

    I don’t think the forms of activism is the problem. It is not an either /or, problem.
    Icelanders took to the streets almost everyday to force a general election.
    Mass action is hard to predict.
    Facebook groups may be larglely tokenistic but that maybe because, the oppositional groups are too marginalised.
    What if the dollar and pound sink.
    The situation will be unprecedented and there seems to be very little leadership out there up to the challenge.

    I am personally against dynasties of any sort. In an historical sense, a Monarch was selected by Divine forces to avert social decline into a Hobbesian “State of Nature.” Since said Monarch was above the restrictions of mortal morals, his or her reign would lead ultimately to an unintended, dissipated order.

    Consider the offspring of the Queen, today. Would any rational person care to be ruled this out-of-control gaggle of arrogant, inane, irrelevant, spoiled brats? The institution of the Monarchy is utterly passé. There is no greater, or more appealing authority than that of an informed, involved citizenry.
