  • Looks really cheap this show …
Couldn’t really hear the audio from Faber.
I would thought Press TV would give you a bit more studio depth!! I also agree with other comments, it wasn’t as funny / edgy as the BBC stuf …

  • My 2 cent opinion…. Your best forum is round table.

  • you could n’t even do that cartoan board thingy to represent the black hole of the financial market because there is n’t enough room to reach out with your hand.
This increase in budget i vageuly recollect you were talking about went in the purchase of the flatscreens?
there is no large empty storage space in france to tape this show and have some layed of workers and artists start meeting for revolution???

  • Max … I would like to hear more about Marc Faber was hinting about ‘Govt can take back the Gold back’ from citizens … what was it all about … it seems little fizzy … guys are you listening … !!!

  • I thought your Elizabeth Warren clip painted her in an unfair light.
She’s actually one of the good guys, if perhaps a little apolitical and naive:

This video is well worth a look::

  • Production was terrible. Looked like you set up a green screen in your living room and called Stacy from the bedroom. I could hardly hear Marc Faber speak (which was disappointing because Faber is THE MAN).

I know it was the first show but it was infinitely inferior to The Oracle. Very disappointing. Max, you tried to be the straight man when you’re the funny man. Be the funny man, be the loose cannon! You are not a news anchor, don’t try to be one. If you don’t have a loose format like The Oracle with people to bounce off perhaps you shouldn’t be in the host role, it doesn’t suit your strengths as a presenter.

I loved The Oracle and enjoy your radio shows. This was something completely different in style and I don’t think it suits your abilities.

  • The show didn’t look cheap enough…

Maybe a cardboard sign with a Jiffy Markered Logo of the show scrawled upon it???

How about some bats dangling on strings that swoop in
when you are talking about blood-sucking banksters…

And what is with the Mojo Bag???
    or is that a man-purse???
You need some dry ice in there, fuming away,
to give it that Count Floyd SPOOKY Late Night theater look

And was Max cut-off because he was starting to rant?
    Censorship on Iranian TV?

“You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale!
    AND I WON’T HAVE IT!!!
    Is that clear?!?!?!?!”

  • the last minute buys on the futures market was apparently an automated system that was covering up positions. I saw this on bloomberg TV a few days back. I am not sure if this would justify those upticks.

  • It’s not the 100 day old Obama administration that is bankrupting the country, for Heaven’s sake, it’s the 8 year old Bush administration that did it.

  • Despite having seen clips already through this website, listening to this was interesting and, when I’m too tired to read, video and audio are great. I don’t care about it not being funny (I see this was commented on). Max’s quirky, amusing side can be enjoyed listening to his v. good Resonance radio broadcasts. Max is funny but The Oracle was construed as novel and entertaining and hence didn’t work. Stacy is always great to listen to – she just comes in with lots of straight facts listeners can read up about later. Max will inevitably put in the odd joke here and there anyway since his personality shines through quite naturally enough in his discourse.

  • We are preparing to shoot the 3rd “on the edge’ show tomorrow with guest michael hudson… looks like i’ve got Alex Jones for next week.

  • Great to see something accessible to a wider audience; easier to share this important info and analysis with my friends. The Oracle was fun but you don’t need to put yourself in the nuthouse to provide comedy for soap-dodgers.
