I don't care about it not being funny (I see this was commented on). Max's quirky, amusing side can be enjoyed listening to his v. good Resonance radio broadcasts. Max is funny but The Oracle was construed as novel and entertaining and hence didn't work. Stacy is always great to listen to - she just comes in with lots of straight facts listeners can read up about later. Max will inevitably put in the odd joke here and there anyway since his personality shines through quite naturally enough in his discourse.
