  1. That was a great show. I just wish it was an hour long.
Alex Jones was good- thequestions and answers were to the point and well done.
To the commenters who claim Alex Jones is nutsor a conspiracy theorist, or even egoistic – Have you ever listened to his radio show? Or seen any of his movies?
What makes one think he’s nuts? Just because you didn’t do thorough research for years and years and comb international news, you hear something you just CAN”t BELIEVE- and say “I must declare the messenger is nuts”
Here’s a challenge to you, who called Jones nuts and a conspiracy theorist, or over the top or whatever- point out one false claim made by Jones in this show. If you can’t do that, then reconsider the nuts classiicaton, then point out whatever makes him so crazy. The “light” version of that attitude is the person who is either learning quite a bit from Alex or still reluctant to come out of DENIAL and says “he’s really over the top, extreme” and they might say, ” but he says a lot of truth” or something to admit that he’s right. His track record is a lot like Max’s on predictions, have you noticed that? Max is more financial than general like Alex, but anyways
I like to suggest this challenge of pointing out something that Jones has said that isn’t true or is crazy, because Alex Jones fans are sick of hearing those accusations and never any evidence of to back them up. ever. The one thing recently I read on a random blog on the internet, was that in the Obama Deception movie, Alex Jones at the End the Fed protest claims that in the Communist Manifesto one of the planks says there should be a private central bank. To my knowledge it doesn’t say that it should be private, it says national bank. But what I wonder is based on what we know of the Federal Reserve and the Bank of England, when is a central bank not run by bankster robber barons? Just in the US for a little while until by 1913 the pirates finally win and start running the central bank? I assume Alex Jones is not right if being right means quoting the communist manifesto, I think he’s right in a sense that Marx and communists like in Russia knew full well that communism is merely all talk and no action on the living together crap- it’s just a totalitarian tyrannical thing with some utopian bs to talk about – the bankers are kind of the same across the globe arent’ they? They’re all like pirates, or like plantation owners. So I’m sure that while the communist manifesto doesn’t say there should be private central banks, I am sure that financial oligarchs like we have in US and Britain rule other countries.

I have learned to love Max’s reviews and views. I was hooked when he called Paulson a terrorist last year and told the truth re where my beloved country is headed courtesy of the elites, both political parties, Goldman Sachus, JP Morganschacht, Bank of UnAmerican et al. My dad was an executive with a major Fortune 200 food giant until he retired 20 years ago. He said at that time the US business and economic model was headed over the cliff. Too many mergers and acquisitions, too many stock buy backs, too many PHd’s and not enough common sense or regard for American working and middle class, too much betting on the stock market as THE American industry, too little investment in actual capital plant building stuff, too damned big hurry to have Americans racing to the bottom, competing against CHINA or Mexico rather than Germany or Japan. . He got out of the stock ‘market’ in 99 and put his money into gold, silver, and other assets and commodities. Four years ago he told me that by 2010 the US economy would be on the ropes, real estate would be a disaster, and the govt. would eventually lose control. I thought he was doing ‘I lived through the Depression’ schtick again but turned out he was correct and his money is still in tact. What has bothered me for years, although I consider myself ‘conservative’ on most things, on economic matters neither Keynes or Reaganomics trickle down is worth warm spit. Free trade and ‘free’ markets are anything but as they are defined by elites for elites. I read the Goldman Sachs court case with Montana Power recently. The congress and succeeding administration gutted laws that came out of the DEPRESSION era .. at least the ones that worked..not all did. But regs like Public Utilities Act and Glass Steagall should have been adjusted NOT gutted, thereby adding to the destruction that seemed to begin when Nixon took us off gold, LBJ gun’s and buttered us to death, and Jimmy Carter and Volcker pushed the Monetary Deregulation Act through in 1980 .. a POX on all their houses. Anyway .. love Max. Love his attitude, love Stacey who reminds me of my daughter, love it if you would come to the US and get on some of the usual suspect media. Lou Dobbs would probably be your best bet. Thanks for being ‘on the edge’ we need more of that for sure.

  3. very enjoyable and informative. These body blows against the totalitarian torture system add up and make a difference. Thank you!

The camel is not only in the tent, but the camel’s tribe is now inside, eating all the corn and defecating throughout the house.

  5. @Joe,…..love the link!,….but you should know better than to poke fun at folks beliefs,……apparently some guy did yrs ago,..and got hung on a cross?
Have faith,…it allows you to stop thinking for yourself?

  6. Alex Jones is a little over the top and gets overwrought sometimes but I don’t think he’s a nut.

His basic premise is sound — the U.S. federal government is the cause of our problems both financial and social.

It must be reduced in power to the equivalent of what we had before — the Articles of Confederation. The anti federalist Patrick Henry was right:

“Where are your checks in this government? Your strongholds will be in the hands of your enemies. It is on a supposition that your American governors shall be honest that all the good qualities of this government are founded; but its defective and imperfect construction puts it in their power to perpetrate the worst of mischiefs should they be bad men; and, sir, would not all the world, blame our distracted folly in resting our rights upon the contingency of our rulers being good or bad? Show me that age and country where the rights and liberties of the people were placed on the sole chance of their rulers being good men without a consequent loss of liberty! I say that the loss of that dearest privilege has ever followed, with absolute certainty, every such mad attempt.”

    - Patrick Henry
From a speech made on June 5, 1788, in the Virginia Convention, called to ratify the Constitution of the United States.

  7. Thruthful ecologist, you eco-freako, it takes around 2 hours to get from London to Paris by train. Regardless of whether Stacy Herbert is on it or not, the train still travels from London to Paris, and will continue to do so as demand warrants. Why does she do it? Well, Thruthful ecologist, she has what is known as “a life”. Why don’t you go get one and see what all the fuss is about? Maybe this video will help you along. Be sure to pick up an eco-rock on completion of the video.

As far as Alex Jones goes, he’s much smarter than most people out there. Sure, he can be egoistic. But who at times isn’t? I know I am. And why? Because I am fucking amazing. That’s why. Yes, I am.

As for Jones, he has “woken up” more people than anyone on this message board multiplied by 10,000. For that alone he deserves massively high praise. Those of you who want to diss him, STFU, or get up off your pretentious asses and wake some people up yourselves.

In re to your friendly governments, There is NO QUESTION that the U.S. (and some other) governments are moving towards more and more totalitarian-style policies. If you don’t believe me, just wait… just wait… it won’t be long…

The next bubble to burst (according to Gerald Celente) will be the bail-out bubble, and once that bubble bursts, there will be nothing left to bail anyone out. It’s a bailout bubble! You can’t bail out a bailout bubble. The only thing that could support a bailout bubble implosion would be the free market, but there is no free market left. It’s NULL AND VOID. IT IS DEAD. NO MORE ROOM AT THE INN. Once that happens – and it will happen – and soon, the government is going to fuck the shit out of all of us, martial law will hit the streets and – guess what? TSWHTF. GET IT? TSWHTF HARD.

Max and Stacy, keep it up. Everything you touch turns to gold. I tip my hat to you both.

  8. Thruthful ecologist

So, Stacy is travelling to London each week on Wednesdays, right after recording the half hour radio show in Paris, to receive a call from Max asking her for the truth. After wich she hurries back to Paris to tell the truth about markets.

    How eco friendly!

  13. @Silver & Gold

Below is an article on Silver and ETFs.

I mentioned earlier that the US Weights&Measures designated 15:1 for the Gold:Silver price ratio .. due to the coins they had in crculation around 1900.

The author rightly points out that the ratio is currently 60:1 ( I posted 80:1 , but silver has gone up recently ).

So , irrespective of whether the Silver & Gold ETFs are a scam or not, certainly either Gold must go down or Silver must go up .. eventually … and it is IMO more likely that Silver MUST go up ! The ratio would suggest a price of 4x 15$ = 60$, assuming Gold stays around 950$ ( which I doubt ).
…. Do not regard this as investment advice please, do your own Due Dilligence .. you know how crooked WS is !
    ( Where Max ? )
    ;-)

    http://seekingalpha.com/article/141227-will-a-silver-bullet-finally-kill-the-metal-manipulators?source=article_sb_popular

…. ” Looking at silver, based on fundamentals, it is totally obvious that silver is headed for a spectacular explosion in its price. At a time of record demand for gold and silver, there are lower inventories of silver (relative to gold and in absolute terms) than at any time in centuries. Simultaneously, the gold/silver price ratio is more unfavorable for silver than at nearly any time in history, currently over 60:1. The long-term price ratio (over thousands of years) is 15:1. Additionally, as “elements” in the Earth’s crust, silver is only 17 times as plentiful as gold. Thus, a 60:1 ratio is not remotely sustainable, even over the medium term. “…..

  14. Sahron, agree… question everything.
    Frances, agree… dismiss nothing.
The thing is to keep all info: alternative, straight, you name it…, from Alex Jones, from conspiracy nuts, from Max, even from the MSM on a shelf somewhere, like puzzle pieces. Then when one fits, get it down, plug it in and expand the picture. It’s the only way in this climate of control and disinformation.
To pay attention to everything doesn’t mean you have to accept it, just consider it.

  15. @Youri Carma

Your reasoning is exactly the same as that of a religious nut: Fear hell in the after life! If someone doubts it you tell them ‘You’ll be begging for merci when you are in hell!’.

  17. Alex Jones is a nut. Keiser shouldnt affiliate himself with him it makes him look bad.

  18. US Gold – Where is it going?

I’ve had a bit of a hard time thinking that the US government might have Madoffed the US gold reserves until I read this article in Numismaster.com . Here’s a relevant excerpt:

…for 2007 and 2008 combined, the U.S. exported 22 million ounces of refined gold and over 154 million ounces of “compound gold.” This is more than 11 times U.S. gold mine production during those two years. In fact, this is higher than global gold mine output. Where did all this gold come from?

This amount of gold exceeds what is held by all private parties in the U.S. combined. When the U.S. government called in gold in 1933, it then melted down the coins without refining. As a result, such bars from the coin melt would have a purity of around 90 percent gold. These would not qualify for description as refined gold, but could fit the definition of compound gold.

In the past few years, several gold traders have commented that a surprising number of coin melt gold bars were being delivered in London and Zurich markets, bars which almost certainly came from the U.S. Treasury vaults.

It is possible that some of these gold exports could be the repatriation of foreign central bank gold that had been stored with the New York Federal Reserve. Such transfers would be classified as “exports” for purposes of this report. The other possibility is that it could be gold formerly held by the only central bank in the world that had that much gold – the United States.

Wherever this gold came from, it is bad news for the U.S. government. If foreign central banks are pulling their gold reserves out of storage in the U.S., that signals lost faith in U.S. financial strength, which the U.S. government would not want the general public to learn about. If the U.S. government has actually been exporting its own gold, while still trying to pretend that the quantity in its vaults is unchanged, confirmation of such exports would clobber faith in both the U.S. government and the dollar.

The U.S. government has not had a genuine audit of its gold holdings in decades. In recent years, it has changed the description of gold holdings in reports so that now it is only described as “custodial gold” rather than gold reserves.

As much as Mr. Jones might seem aggressive, bossy, interruptive, etc; he does have a sense of humour and gets an alternative message out.

Wonder is the shtf will correlate with the control vectors in place for WHO pandemic level six?

  20. @ Ptah,
Re: Mandelson (aka: The Prince of Darkness) – I share your pain, I mean what does it take to get rid of the slug…more salt?
He is so slimy he can slither up-hill.

@ Youri Carma – agreed, although I’m starting to have doubts about many things, questioning everything. What is disinformation and what is truth? Take the EU, for example, herein Britain we believe the EU is not for us, but lately I’m beginning to wonder: Merkel slating the central banks and refusing GM corn and now demanding their gold from the US. Also, the division at the G20 between Germany/France and Britain/America. Then today I hear that the EU maybe applying sanctions against Israel. Something is definitely going on but who are the good guys (if there are any) and who are the bad guys (probably all)? Disinfo agents everywhere. Police state in UK and US but then here the press gave the police a hard time with a warning to behave themselves. It’s just too confusing. Guess we’ll find out at some point but right now I continue to question everything.

  21. ‘On the Edge’ doesn’t appear on the drop down show list, so I put my positive comment under ‘American Dream’. I figured that was the closest one to what Max is on about……Guns and Doughnuts!

  22. I know Max is doing his best to move the people to think and act on the injustices of ‘the system’, to move them from their doughnut slumber as it were. However, I feel that this Alex fellow does like to engender more fear than reason.
Rhetoric without substance gets a little thin, especially when you have 17,000 issues at once (give or take :)
Max (and Stacey of course) is good because he knows the system from the inside(I believe) so gives him cred that others lack, as well as being WAY MORE entertaining.
On the show: I have realised whats missing. I think the desk situation is too restricting for Max. He needs to be able to flourish his arms to demonstrate his passion. Get Stacey back in from ‘London’ and do a two way. OK, not enough background sets, etc. But just a black curtain would be fine. You have two cams now – ok, you may have to lose the Pirate waterboarding close ups, ha!
All good though guys, very much appreciate the way you are both (and posters as well) making this GFC funny and informative. Otherwise it might get depressing. Thanks.

How lame is it that the jewisch scolars found so many reasons to abolish the practice..Not being sure in what year to call it, first having to own everyting to call it, excuses excuses..

The practice basically functioned like a giant call option with a maturation of 50 years and a price of zero if I understand it correctly..

  29. Richard@lattitude30N

@MiniUS and @Stacy: I had written previously on another post some historical reference to the Hebrew/Biblical version of absolution of debt( I was originally incorrect; as it is 7X7 years and held on the 50th year; not just seven years ); and yes a Jubilee would be a thoughtful gesture….not very likely…unless….the numbers get so outlandish that not even the “magical thinkers” can convince even themselves that a new mathematical fiat money system can emerge to satisfy even their manipulative minds…In 1988 when Sen Eugene McCarthy ran for president..I recall a PBS McNeil-Lehrer Hour news interview when he stated that at that time the wealthy controlled $12 tr and he wondered if they might redistribute $4 tr to the lower classes; suggesting that they wouldn’t miss much…well that went over like a ton of bricks..He would have been our first poet president…
@Michael Bailey: on another post I have continue to (quietly) promote a multi city satellite uplink with many of the outspoken opponents/proponents of a new global economics( like the multi city musical concerts held on July 7,2007 for Global Warming)….and include many of the same names ( and more ) as you name in your posted comment….Michael Moore’s new flic debuts on October 2…yes we all could use some relief and a furthering of the message to decrease the “greed factor”–as always, Richard@lattitude30N

  30. Mark Bailey

    Hi,

Great show, wouldn’t it be great if Max, Stacey, Alex and Gerald Celente were altogehter!

@Mike – great Prisoner clip, “Who are you? I am the new number two. Who is number one?”

One question, how do you go about buying gold or silver? I don’t trust E-Bay where I have seen coins for sale.

    Mark

  31. @Mini US – sure, you can declare a Jubilee. It used to be done all the time: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jubilee_(Christian)

Michael Hudson was also saying that pharoahs, emperors, rulers, all used to do it when they began a new reign. Partly because they didn’t want to hinder their own rule by the debts from another rule.

  32. Alex Jones is crap and he is not as intelligent as people might think him to be. Also, he often makes false headlines promoting fear mongering. He doesn’t have a good history.

  34. from my limited ,potted ,understanding of economics from what i have read , even though the the Dow is down approx 80 % in real terms when measured in gold as against the dollar from year 2000 [that is way some economists are calling a bottom or near bottom ?] BUT the major low or bottom has a long way, way to go !. in previous recessions the DJIA Yields reached approx 7 % , in the great depression of the 1929 -1932 DJIA yields reach 15 % , this time it shall likely be much higher greater because of greater asset inflation, debt etc, etc perhaps taking us further back in time than 1930′s ? 36. Ever so slightly of topic…
Is it possible that we get to the a point where all debt everywhere gets wiped and we just start again. You know, like the Mayan culture did way back when. Each year they absolved debt.
Maybe Barack Obama is travelling the world asking everyone to just pardon all world govt debt and he will be the hero of the new world where all men are equal and no one has any debt.
Ok, have I gone too far? Scratch the last bit about equal – thats asking too much of the poor guy.
So, maybe if that happens, that yellow metal everyone is still so fascinated by becomes ‘the dude’. That would make Max Keiser “The Oracle”, like really the oracle.

I see what you mean, military people have a saying “orders are orders, doesn’t matter if you like them or not” The Sheriff and most of the Deputies are ex military, so they probably follow the status quo. Who knows. With Brazil producing just about every thing and giving China a run for the money in regards to Latin America, i have to admit my surprise when I arrived in Asuncion and found shopping centers that rival NY’s high tech shopping experience loaded with products that said “Fabriquo en Brazil”.
Not the Latin America I remember from the 1990′s!

For myself, I think it is about getting the gumption and courage to sell off all my stuff/ shit pick up some Reas and hit the road. I love it down South, spent many years in Latin America, but this time would be different; kids, wife two cats, minimal $$. I guess it beats playing the odds with FEMA camps and a clear conscience between right and wrong.

Gold and Silver will probably go nuts once Govts around the world remove their guarentees on savings. The Aus Govt says that this will just happen with time as things get better. You think we will trust money then! The only way Govt can guarentee savings is because…..there aren’t any!

I wasn’t gonna say this because I remember when I was told Santa didn’t exist. Its ok, nothing you see on TV is real everyone. Stacey is probably in the next room with a feed from the same vision source as Max.

yes I am listening to Max on AJ right now. I spoke to a Sheriff’s Deputy the other day and he stated that “my Sheriff won’t be taking guns from American people, and I won’t either! That is bullshit!”

it was comforting to speak to another person in law enforcement and hear him talk about the problems facing the American people.

    MPs agree to disclose spending

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/2474285/MPs-agree-to-disclose-spending

MPs will soon reveal how they spend millions of dollars of taxpayer funds for expenses.

Speaker Lockwood Smith said a cross-party meeting yesterday agreed to develop a disclosure regime following concern about the secrecy surrounding more than $11 million for airfares, taxis, car hire and accommodation.

MPs also get $14,800 a year on top of their salaries for other expenses, but these will be exempt from disclosure.

Public pressure to end the secrecy surrounding expenses has mounted following a scandal in Britain, where MPs have been caught claiming for everything from porn movies to clearing a moat.

The New Zealand system is less open to rorts because it has been progressively restricted and capped, but details of how the cash is used are not subject to the Official Information Act.

Dr Smith’s statement appears to suggest some form of annual register is being considered.

The Green Party says it has provided Parliament with a model for disclosing MPs’ expenses and hopes it will be taken up.

“We have provided a model for releasing the information and I think it’s a good one,” co-leader Metiria Turei told Radio New Zealand.

The meeting came as Green MPs issued details of their travel and accommodation expenses for the first four months of this year.

Dunedin-based co-leader Turei had the biggest bill for air travel ($18,968) and car transport ($7384) among the Greens.

Auckland MP Keith Locke was the second-highest spender on air travel ($16,832) and spent $4194 on car travel.

Wellington-based co-leader Russel Norman, who is contesting the Mt Albert by-election, was the third-highest spender on air travel ($15,828), the second-highest on car travel ($4480) and the highest for out-of-Wellington hotel accommodation ($1319).

The lowest spending was by Wellington-based MP Sue Kedgley: $4593 for air travel, $1172 for cars and $102 for out-of-Wellington accommodation.

In total, the nine Green MPs spent $123,945 on air travel and $37,078 for cars, although this included spouses’ travel.

If the House proposes a commission to explore mandatory community service . . . what would you call it? Accidental Volunteerism?

  54. Stacey may be in London, but the dramatic effect justifies talking though the phone anyday..Would be fun if she pretended to be on the Caymans (shot of the tropics on screen) or Guernsey, very financial…

It was/is not clear to me how chinese dumping of these bonds makes them rise in price. Wouldn’t that make them cheaper? :-(

I’m not sure the public is as fast with the inferences and as knowledgable with the lingo as Max. May be hard to bridge..

The FDIC story would have had more impact when combined with the article about the liabilities against the actual reserves, and the fact the fdic is asking for more money from the banks..it’s INFO wars Max!

Wouldn’t say anybody is ‘captured’ anymore..that is only when there is a core of obvious good intent. Better be more specific, that is easier to identify with (f.i. ‘Larry summers is executing his plan!’).

I hate Alex Jones voice as well, he does tend to just trow in the memes that keep people mesmerized. He does get a lot of interesting info, like his colleague, but he is more fringe while imho its better to go for the mainsteam trying to sound serious and sticking with the facts. After all that is what the people don’t realize they lack.

Am in a critical mood i guess ;-)

    Finger torture?

@Don: It’s got to have warmed up in WY by now…Don..it’s a rolling slow burn…don’t freak out…find that inner strength…just maybe an Exodus style exit will arise…it worked in ancient times out of Egypt….just saying…regards, Richard@lattitude30N

PS/ Did you listen to Max on Infowars.com??? It’s streaming 24/7 until 4 pm CST Sunday…Max was in fine condition…

  56. Nice work! Dammit I want to get out!!! Until that day i am stocked with food and ammo. It seems futile to stay here and try to make change. The pigs will turn this thing to the point that every neighbor would be out for his own and the rat shit left/right dick heads would be settling score out of ignorance.

Oh! if only every American knew the truth!!!

  57. Given that Alan Sugar has now got a job in British government – I cannot believe I am writing this – what job would Simon Cowell be employed to do as Gordon plumbs the depths of populism.

Mandy – deputy leader, (head sinks into hands). You gotta wonder why we bothered. All of those lost lives fighting Hitler, the Roundheads and Cavaliers, Stalin… so that Mandy could be… no… maybe I will wake up in a moment, this cannot be happening… how does gold help you at a time like this… I bet Mandy has gold buttocks…. his ass is safe… then again thats what Farah Fawcett thought…

  58. Palantíri

@stacyherbert – as William wrote, curious about the same thing. (You did see the gold coin didn’t you…from the phone…)
About the interviews, is what we see on the show the amount of interview time you had with the guest (and the former guests on earlier shows) or is it edited from a longer interview? If it’s edited, is it possible to have the full interview released?

    thanks for the show.

  59. Mr. Holipsism

I use to listen to Alex Jones a lot and then I got tired of hearing the sound of his voice and his irritating interview style. I’ve never heard an interviewer more in love with the sound of his own voice like Alex Jones is.

I’m not on of those people who feel he is an agent or crap like that. I just can’t take him anymore. It’s the same with all shock jocks; at some point you get use to their shock level and either they have to be more shocking in order to stimulate you or you just leave them alone.

“Barack Obama says one thing and does another.”

    You mean…can it be…..Barack Obama is actually…..

    A POLITICIAN????!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up, Alex (sic)

Peace Max & Stacy! You two are the BEST!

    ONE

MAX: a double day interview: Jones @ On the Edge With Max Keiser and Keiser on Infowars.com….You were a much more interesting “guest” on the Alex Jone’s show…especially after mentioning the 2nd Amendment following of Alex’s show; when you asked: “What are Amercans waiting for??” –to begin an all out violent revolt ( ala the French Revoution )…..His reply was that all other avenues of dissent are going ahead first…which is very American legalistically….in the courts, civil/criminal actions traverse a winding staircase through the many levels of appeal before the final judgement is made….and so all levels are being exhausted ( ala the Ron Paul bill HR 1207 to audit the FED ) before a call to abolish the FED is begun ..and the sovereignty resolutions in the various states promoting 9th and 10th Amendment rights….Clearly you are well within reason that a Jacobin style revolt is called for; YET I personally don’t see the average American person on the street (and imho soon many will be camped out on the street!!!) connecting the dots so as to give a clear and unequivical picture that the “jailers” are the fraudster/criminals….here in the PrisonPlanet….I also think your knowledge of 9/11 in relation to Canter/Fitzgerald is not well known to your viewers/liseners/groupies and that should become explained in detail…I remember a report that on 9/11/01 the Deutch Bank was removing a Brinks truck loaded with gold bullion in the lower basement of WTC I or II when the attack collapsed the buildings….to your knowledge was that exited before the attack or excavated afterward???

  61. Where is the limit of the state debt?
There has to be an point where a country can only repay it’s interest and will not be capable of repaying the whole loan.

The reason of the state debt is a structural shortage; mostly due to wasting taxmoney and an unbalanced budget.
In developing countries who can’t repay their debt with money make their natural resources available in a benefitial way for the creditor; due to joint ventures and other ways.

Or what is the time schedule politicians think they will need to repay the state debts? (here in holland the state debt has risen to 283 billion in 2006 the income was 115 billion total; so even if the government uses all income (which is totally impractical/impossible) it would still take over 2 years. not even adding interest.)

gold is on the rise, like most commodities but the question i had was; the reason that gold is “expensive” is scarcity, there is a limit of how much is available; like all commodities.
But isn’t it all artificial? The product is only as much worth as the demand. In other words in history some cultures have used shells because the specie was rare. If no one would buy gold; gold would be worth nothing.

    That automatically leads to my final question;
Without social factors and variables; Isn’t this whole economy just an useless cover to maintain our class society?
What do you think of the concept of a resource-based economy? (on the bottom a link)
Our money is worthless it is being printed out of thin air/devaluated constantly. Innovation and research isn’t the objective, because it costs money; although that could be seen as an motivation to “out run” the competition; in practise CEO’s/stock holders/board and so on only care about the short term and the numbers. For example if they would try to invest in a (self-) sustainable, renewable energy source that would provide every person free energy or a car (invention of a century old we are still using the same basic concept) that actually works well; It would destroy the economy. The joblosses would be enormous; technological unemployment. Beside that the research would cost “too much”. So this entire system was never meant for the progression and well-being of humanity.

i hope i wasn’t too vague; i know that the resource based economy sounds like a utopia and has many variables/factors/details to be worked out but it does offer instead of the protection for nightmares the hope of dreams/a better future.

keep up the great informative work!

  62. Man . . . I listened to the show and then went over to Prison Planet to see what was going on over there. The first thing I saw was the headline: House Bill Proposes Commission to Explore National Servitude. THAT kind of stuff is exactly why I can’t take Alex Jones seriously. To me, that’s no different than Faux News rhetoric.

  63. Great vids Max!

The situation across America is becoming more dire by the day. Many have their heads in the sand and want to believe things are getting fundamentally better, they are not.

I think the financially rollercoaster resumes the downhill part after summer.

  64. Mr Supergeek

Cool….cheers for posting the show…. . Alex Jones seemed quite subdued must have been early in the mornin for him. I did think he would be on his best behaviour for his first appearance on max’s show…I use the word appearance loosely the same way Max and Stacy use the word ‘london’ or ‘guest’…..

    4. Alex Jones The Sam Kinison of Shock Jocks
    probably the most obvious..and unbiased.

  65. Nice show Max …

Where was the “Blue Brothers” intro ? …
… would have been good IMO !

    BTW

Listen to last 5 minutes in particular.

  66. @Stacy,

Is some room in the studio called London? Or do you travel to London just to do the show over the phone?

    Just Curious.
