    wow. Willie John McBride….what a legend. look out for the special programme this week on irish tv about the 1974 Lions tour. theres a game on that tour thats gone done as the ‘dirtiest rubgy game of all time’. I’d imagine it would be fun to see your old boss kickin’ the sh*t out some fella!

    He was my bank manager – Northern Bank in Ireland , while I was a student!
    ;-)

    Oh .. and of course, he was a BIG man … Irish International Rugby Player … probably one of the best known.
    A super friendly guy … used to give us poor students nice overdraughts !

    BTW … 10 Pounds overdraft was a scandal in those days !

    He can give great insight into how all this weird financial manipulation works. Fantastic.
    Also quite cool are the funny ‘agreement’ noises he makes when Stacey is making a point. “Uh, Uh Huh, Hhhhmmmm, HHUH HHUH”.
    Hahahhahaa, just brilliant.
