  1. Isn’t that implying that Ron Paul’s Bill will be obsolete before they even get started ? i.e. giving the FED effectively almost Carte Blanche ?

  2. Christ, the shit never ends.
When will the American people say enough is enough.
How can one nation be so hypnotized.

  3. Finds apropos story of change never occuring, puts down large sandwich, wipes mayonaise from fingers onto sweat pants, picks up keyboard, types–

And our new and open and transparent president won’t tell the American people just who he has conversations with in the White House…

  4. @scott,…….keep it up ,.soooo funny haha,…even though you’re makin’ a point it’s a great approach.

  5. @Scott from Oregon – yes, much more entertaining now!

Your thoughts on Gold…..where is it going price wise & when?

  7. Well it is very clear who will be (and has been) calling the shots here in the US. Now they get to really “lay down the law” and penalize successful business models. What else could they possibly have to offer?

On another interesting note. I was at the dump today dropping off and picking up free treasure when I noticed a US flag kit. It was all boxed up, brand new with a flag pole and eagle adornment complete with a US flag; all laying there on it’s side in a pile of waste. I guess that sums it up.

There was a time when that would have been reported as a criminal act, a sacrilege to this once great nation. I was in such amazement that I did not even pick it up. I don’t know what good it would do to go back and get it, maybe to sell it in a garage sale to raise the funds to get out. ;(

  8. @Ah.nix

brother “The American people” have no idea what the hell is going on. They don’t know what to think believe or say. They want to dodge the issue and trust that the Rockefellers and others will take their interest into account. i talk to people and 1 out of 50 will talk back and share on the subject of what is going on. Some will comment about the bailouts in a blase’ sort of way almost as if they are regurgitating something they heard some one say. Spiritual people will say, “don’t focus on that stuff it will make you crazy, you don’t have to be informed..”
And that “nothing happens by mistake in God’s world” I can agree. And when a guy broke into someones home and killed them; God didn’t do that, a man did. So we have to stop bad men, right?

“Evil prevails when good men do nothing” —?

I get physically il…These people were trying to save. I imagine there were a lot in pension funds, too, and 401K plans. Anyway, recommend the comments following the article as well.

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jun/15/gms-deal-erased-many-average-americans-savings/

GM’s deal erased many average Americans’ savings. In fact, tens of thousands of the bondholders of General Motors Corp. are not rich at all — and never were, even before the value of their bonds collapsed in the months leading up to the giant automaker’s bankruptcy filing.

  10. You guys see all the comments on that article?

The first sentence of the article is, “The Federal Reserve, already arguably the most powerful agency in the U.S. government, will get sweeping new authority to regulate any company…”

    Hired Monkeys. Fucking Hired Monkeys.

  11. Notices comments directed toward self, puts down glass of milk on the floor to wriggle recliner lever. Finagles with recliner for nearly a minute trying to get it to sit upright. Realizes shoe from very large foot upended and is blocking path of recliner rest. Kicks this out of way and wriggles lever again. Sits up and reaches for keyboard. Begins to type with gorilla hands that are better suited to framing houses and ripping phone books. Can’t get a letter to come out. Bangs side of keyboard with meaty hands and hears a “crack” in the plastic of the keyboard. Worries that self may have hit it too hard. Pokes at keys with single digit. Realizes it’s useless. Pulls on cord and discovers it’s unplugged on the other end. Takes 6-4 inch frame and folds it in half, “oomphing” loudly as beer fat compresses diaghram… Manages to get 6 foot 4 inch frame under computer desk. Mumbles to self about throwing away all stinky pairs of old work boots piled there. Mutters “goddamn cat” as self struggles to replug USB thingy into doohicky. Bumps head on the way out. Screams at cat to get its nose out of milk left on floor. Climbs back into recliner with laptop and taps on keys. Sees several F’s come out and a G… Hits BACKSPACE key four times and types–

    “Thanks!”

Feels bad that self has no bad news financial links to share.
Feels bad that cat is nowhere to be seen.
Puts keyboard back amongsts the desk detritus. Grabs milk and goes back to reading about financial ruination…

  14. RE: The Fed’s Powers

This sounds dead-on to Authoritarian Corporativism…
an essential component of Mussolini’s Fascism…

Now if only the FED could get power over the religious sector of the economy (i.e. TV Preachers, Taxing Donations, etc.)
they could manipulate the self-actualization of the more domesticated branch of the less cognizant demographic…

    yesssss….
then the evil plan would be on schedule….

    MUAHAHAhAHAHahahahahahaha…

    (from the article)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    “What we’re trying to do is focus on the things that were at the core of the problems we saw in the crisis,” said Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner at a Time Warner Economic Summit in New York on Monday.
    “When you have too many people involved, there’s an accountability problem,” he said. “At the core of making the system stronger is to give one place in the system clear accountability, responsibility and authority for preventing future crises.”
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Yah,
    in other words (IOW)
“Let me manipulate the market like the King Rat that I am!!!”

I wonder what “accountability” is defined by in his world?
(Whoops, there goes another TRILLION into the mystery hole of my wallet… Thank you Japanese Korean Actors… You’ll be getting a bonus along with the VATICAN for getting the bonds into Italy in the first place…)

    You see,
if America decided to diplomatically give Italy 38 Billion,
then the general populace that pays attention would probably be upset…
“WHY NOT SPEND IT ON OUR MISERABLY PO’ ASSES!!!!”
    they would cry and beckon…

so what better way to do it, than to set up a play with those oh so efficient Wop Cops,
    busting bonds for a photo-op,
and let Berlusconi tag a fine so he doesn’t come out looking like a banana republic…
who cares if they are fake…
the scene is already well into the act,
    and you’ve already paid admission…
    NO REFUNDS FOR YOU!!!!

Only Senatwat Christopher J. Dodd can stop him now…
(Hope he has his Batman suit ready to go)

    Wait a second…
Didn’t he already fuck up once when he let Butt-Plugs and Dildo manufacturers get covered by TARP
    In which case,
    LOOK OUT AMERICA,
    HERE COMES THE ANAL-GREASE!!!!

Roll it over and grease it down,
He’ll drive you through the heart of town

    Would you care for the
    Velvety Smooth Pythagorean Double-Decker Pecker
    or Jack-in-the-Box Ring Job model???

  15. Well America is dead. The federal reserve is the evil corperation in the dystopian books we’ve read.

  16. http://www.gold-eagle.com/editorials_01/seymour062001.html

prolly been around, but new to me. Chart of “prognosticators” for the 29-33 period. Funny in a sad, “we’ve been here before?” way…

  17. @Fat Freddy’s Cat’s Penis-Fingers

I think that chart has been posted here before…
    yah, that is interesting…
    However,
    In Canada
We appear to be following the script from 1982…

  18. ADDENDUM

    Correction:
@Fat Freddy’s Cat’s Penis-Fingers from OREGON, United States(possibly soon to separate and join BC, Alberta, Idaho and Montana in the great Eco-state of Pacifica) of Geithner…

  19. I just don’t see Canadian provinces and US states joining into new entities any time soon — but I can see the US ceding territory it is no longer able to support due to total regime collapse like

POINT ROBERTS, WA (you have to go via Canada to get to it)

GUAM, as the Chinese need to be paid off somehow

  20. Someone mentioned market monkey hoedown (or did I just say that?) any way, this will give the Fed the full screwing rights they need to jack with all private companies there by having full market control, right?

Hell of a way to seek out and destroy the US. As I saw it with my own eyes! America is in the dump!.

  21. Watch the Greenland Ice Sheets.

The majority of the worlds financial centers are located at sea level. These sheets might not melt, but the water that forms underneath them acts as a lubricant. When enough of these underground lakes form, this allows the glacier to gently slip into the ocean. This will add (according to top scientists) around 20 feet to the worldwide ocean levels.

It is done this through displacement. And can happen quicker. The challenge is most scientist think this will take years to melt. But what few realize is that they can just slip, and fairly quickly.

If people don’t wake up fast enough, this will be used to take down the system for good. This system will not last. Earth can’t have it. It is useless. It is based on old emotions an thoughts that don’t serve humanity anymore. This is why it is done with.

    Just food for thought.

    Do your own research.

  22. One to two good terror hit s in the right place would make quick work of the US. The plan would then complete itself.

  23. I can see where this is going. When Fed fucks up everything (ah well.. they fucked up everything this far) then IMF will say, oh look the Federal Reserve is solving the situation, lets do the same on global scale………..

Seriously, how retarded are the politicians?… ah nevermind that question.

  24. @Don

seriously! you guys have Flag Kits!?

  25. @gonzomarx … “seriously! you guys have Flag Kits!?”

Sure they do … “Made in China” … of course !
    ;-)

  26. @gonzomarx … ” Good Night, and Good Luck ”

By “coincidence”, that film was shown on German TV yesterday !

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0433383/

Today , history is repeating itself … US (false) “patriotism” is used to achieve support of the masses / rally ’round the flag …. some even in tears with emotion !
    Sheesh !

  27. @Phil

yeah it’s a good film. i knew the US was patriotic but the idea of kits just brings it home how patriotic. shame how elites abuse it.

“Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel”

    Dale
    Will you do my favor?

Get a glass of water, put a cube of ice in it………..then mark the water level on it.

Then place it in sun light so the cube melts…………..look at the water level………………..your find its not moved!

    Mike

  29. Nancy S, Huntington Bch, CA

You can take an old or worn flag to your local library and there should be a dropff box where the Boy Scouts collect them and give them proper disposal.

Also, @ the wheat–Yes, seems they are rushing to monkey up a new strain of the wheat, to Save Us All. But, if you ever wonder what some of the Big Food comanies might really be up to, just Google “terminator seeds.” Like this: http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Transnational_corps/TerminatorSeeds_Monsanto.html

  30. Clean Slate

    @Mike
Dale is correct about the rise of sea level from melting ice sheets. The ice cube in the glass of water is analogous to sea ice (i.e. arctic sea ice and ice shelves surrounding Antarctica. But ice sheets and glaciers on land do add to the volume of water in the oceans when they melt.

  31. @max&stacy
about debt, i.e., paying to be alive – please consider that the idea of climate change, (of course climate changes!) leading to a carbon tax, could conceivably be a part of the whole “live to pay your debt” plan, and that the idea of pollution damaging the environment has been mixed up with the idea of global warming so as to divert the public’s attention away from the truly lethal substances being produced by big business (of course if you have the money to pay any future carbon tax, then you can just go right ahead and produce CO2 – so maybe it’s not really so deadly?)
Thousands of scientists are not convinced about this question., while many people hypothesize that the fear being stirred up in the population is simply another instrument to be used in the creation of more social control.
