Trailers and promos, at least the way Americans use them is strange. However, in the Anglosphere their use is not ‘in the US idiom’.

That said, I would love to find the Pilot of Mumbai Calling, as it seems to be lacking on “TheBox.bz”

The general reaction to the 2007 pilot was muted – most viewers who saw the trial episode didn’t dislike it but, then again, they didn’t roll around laughing either. Our personal opinion was that the Mumbai Calling we saw in 2007 showed much promise – it was a warm and gentle comedy which didn’t offend.

It’s hard to say if ITV has any faith in this show or not: the channel put it on the shelf in 2008 suggesting they didn’t want to show it, but then gave it the perfect launch by placing it after the Britain’s Got Talent final (one of the highest rating shows of the decade)… but now they’ve gone and scheduled it against Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, which has essentially killed it. Odd.

PS:
I wish I had an Indian call centre at my command to raise money from Americans for a religious shortwave broadcasting station in Papua New Guinea … as it takes several millions to set up such a contrivance.

That said, the PNG Kina has more value as a global currency or at least will as soon as the USD totally self destructs.

I have a question

China currently hold roughly1 trillion in US treasuries that will soon be worthless.

What would happen to the US dollar and Bond market if China moved all that money into physical gold ?

Is this a possibility and what would be the likely US response ?

Yes, it was on mainstream news about 2 months ago for ca. 60 seconds. Not much attention was paid to it afterwards.
The bit a heard was it was something like Aluminium scattered over Nord-Rhein Westfalen !
They showed a map and it was a very big cloud.
The Bundeswehr are a naughty bunch anyway and more of a playground for an easy-life IMO !
A few German politicians have been caught using the planes for private purposes …. not the fighter jets of course !

If the tie has been around since the dawn of time, DO NOT GET RID OF IT. I still have one from my days in high school. If it gives you “Mojo” then to get rid of it for a paltry bag o’ silver would piss of karma, n’est ce pas? Everyone has something. My preference is a gold maple leaf taped to my body so I am always in touch. Carrying it around like Rogers would scare me to death. I always lose things out of my pockets. I cannot lose me.

Stacy, Max or anyone with pertinant information, do you have any comments on the missing Gold here in Canuckistan? The story has pretty much died over here. It may have lasted a day or two and was, at the very least, relegated to the back sections of news websites. TV? No clue. Do not have cable for Television. 15.3 may not be much in the big world but it is the corporate media silence that has me freaked out.

Keep up the good work. The invaluable service you provide is greatly appreciated as I am sure you are both aware.
