What would a new gold-based reserve currency do to the value of the physical gold I hold?

I can’t see how it would be wiped out. They simply decide an ounce of gold is worth 20 new bucks and suddenly I am holding FAR less value in gold than I had before.

I really liked the first 2 mins to the second half and loved the money throwing. Reference to it being a pity more bankers didn’t go down with 9/11 made me feel a bit uncomfortable – even if, I confess, I see his point, Max would probs get airtime on other networks if he didn’t say things like that.

Does anyone understand how a gold standard reserve currency would be implemented and its immediate and longer term implications?

Hi Stacy……..what a joke this whole mini “rally” is. It’s market manipulation pure and simple. I am currently visiting Australia and noone here buys the Goldman/Morgan b.s.. Love your show…..especially the NZ version. Keep spreading the truth.
