Stacy Summary: First, Timmy Geithner has troubles selling his home nearby to where Max grew up and now 50 cent having problems selling his house in my hood – his house is less than a mile from my mom’s. The thing is he bought the house for $4 million from Mike Tyson who bought it for I think it was $12 million. Any signs of desperate times in your area? I know in Paris it is DESOLATE – almost zero tourists. While it’s nice to have the walk along the Seine almost entirely to ourselves many shopkeepers in our area say that they can last only another month or two if things do not change . . . .

Yes, and if they don’t follow the agenda their grants/funding will be removed and they’ll probably be sacked, or in the case of Dr Kelly – murdered.

@ Dedo……………Wasn’t Galileo concidered a wacko in his time for refuting the established doctrine !
Now believed to be, by many, the father of science.
Add him to a list of possibly hundreds over the centuries – it cracks me up that people still choose to believe the official story or the msm or what their mates are saying and never seem to take account of history. Hence, we are doomed to history repeating itself again and again and again. Even more frustrating and bizarre is that many of those found to have been wrong throughout history happen to be very intelligent. Take a look at the people disputing the facts today – they often come across as intelligent. I don’t know what it is – maybe an inability to practice free thinking or critical thinking? Usually you just have to apply a bit of logic and common sense and take account of the evidence. Is that so hard?

Well you would LOL…..you started the rumour about this site (on your show)….But on a slightly serious note, I notice more and more the MSM seems to be playing catch up and accepting that a lot of the ‘tin foil hats’ and ‘honest wacko’s’ are not that wacko…a lot of opinions and points of view that were derided and considered fringe are now regularly presented on MSM…..am not saying right or wrong….I just noticed a change…so “Twinkle Twinle Baby”….If it’s your time to shine.
Stacy – you asked Danny earlier about Irish economists – Danny’s right about David McWilliams.
I’d suggest you also try to get hold of Alan Ahearne. Interesting guy – ironically now working as advisor to our Finance minister. Why ‘ironically’? …because a few years ago he warned of the cataclysm but was ridiculed by the then PM Bertie Ahern…his words went something like “I dont know why people talking down the economy don’t go and commit suicide”. Can’t beat the Irish for electing top class men to the highest office, eh?
Back to Alan Ahearne – he’s REALLY interesting because he used to work for, wait for it…THE FED!!!!
Yep, he worked for the Fed for 7 years – he was the principal economist at the Board covering the Japanese and Chinese economies. So, I’m guessing he knows everything there is to know about what exactly has been going on.
Would he tell you? …another story. Might be worth checking out though.

And yes….the people and government of France and every major international country on the planet… will be DESPERATELY wanting a newly established global monetary authority and that authority will be the ones to tell them all that a global currency is NECESSARY.
THAT AUTHORITY WILL CONSIST OF THE SAME CONGLOMERATE WHO CONTROL AND HAVE PLANNED THE ENTIRE DEMOLITION OF THE GLOBAL ECONOMY IN THE FIRST PLACE.
The entities controlling the money supply behind this entire fiasco are the most brilliant, powerful people on the planet which has come to be after decades of intense power grabbing in total fraudulent, mafia style.

@Mike/Liverpool Brezinski said that he didn’t want to make the same mistake the Russians did and not use to many troops. Obama is now talking about sending even more troops so it could be that there is a democratic camp who realy is convinced that they can have a succes in Afghanistan.
But by this ruthless drone bombing with a 2% enemy accuracy so with a civilian kill of 98%, the Americans are creating their enemy which could be the cunning Brezinski part and the “not using to many troops” was merely propaganda and not realy an issue also because of the rapid unemployment and the new Obama Security Force just as big and well funded as the Army.
Afghanistan the perfect meat grinder from history books will be to much next to an Iragi and let alone Iran front. But if it is to get some people killed as a sick way of population control? Who cares?

The USD could strengthen substantially more.
Devaluation… against what? Gold, currency etc? I think currency is possible… though there may be a revaluation of gold but not as remarkable as you might think as it might go to 2k but the currency slashed in half… and it’s a good thing the Fed is [confiscating] buying loads of junk gold over the past two and a half years… and so have the Chinese over a similar length of time (yes, they are buying junk gold in the USA).
For proof… look at Japan. The YEN is VERY strong compared to 1983.
Lord Myners is a tosser.
@ marcus – The gold boom itself did not cause the increase in prices, it was the banking structure that caused it and the only part related to the ‘gold thing’ was that the banks though there would be ever ending riches to be had and therefore financed everything that breathed and leveraged up to an insane amount. And because money was actually gold or copper etc, banks could not print it, so when they diverted or restricted credit or had deposits called, they crumbled. It was not until 1893 that things corrected themselves with the passing of legislation which allowed bank issued notes legal tender. This is the turning point, as it allowed banks to print money and the obligations of the bank could always be met with more printing. Also, the government was massively at fault as it deposited balances from property tax revenues with banks, so as prices rose, taxes collected was used to lend again.
Australia was founded by criminals and it’s still a criminal nation.
Do you foresee a Sept/Oct $ meltdown / devaluation?? Please see the other prognostications on the link above..

The lobbyists hire homeless people to stand in line for these congressional hearing so that they can commandeer all of the seats available. The line sitters arrive at 6am. Very few individuals are able to get into a hearing. This keeps all people with opposing views out of the room.

Here in Michigan (15.2% unemployment), people are leaving the state in droves. Families are being separated because people have to chase jobs. One of my oldest friends (known him since I was 7) just told me yesterday, he’s hoping to be hired at a company in Indiana, because he can’t get by on 32 hours a week anymore. State tax revenue estimates are going to be way off because the population is falling so fast.

Exactly! I’m just hoping that enough people will begin to understand coz if we don’t tackle it at the roots we’re wasting our time. We also need a huge mind set change. I always think about it in terms of someone visiting for the first time and taking a look around. Can you imagine? They’d be saying:
“But why do you have people with more money than they can ever spend and others with so little that they can’t even eat properly?” or “Why do you look up to people who have no real attributes, values or morals?” or “Why do you defer to someone whose ancestors raped and pillaged your ancestors?” or “Why are you allowing greedy psychopaths to destroy your planet and the futures of your chldren and grandchildren?” Oh, I could go on but what’s the point?
“do the americans deserve the fate coming at them?”
The short-sighted question neglects to discover that the fate coming at the Americans will be, unfortunately, coming at the rest of the world as well due to the dollar hegemony position set up by Bretton Woods 1 & 2.

NC is hit pretty hard w/ high unemployment & retail business space is widely available in my town (there’s not a lick of manufacturing left in this traditionally blue collar town I live in). I drove 1.5 hrs south to Charlotte yesterday where I experienced a parking squeeze and was crushed by the masses in the IKEA store. What’s up with that? Is the bail out cash washing into the area or is IKEA so cheap that people still feel they can afford that stuff? It was surprising to see so many out shopping, given the negative economic situation in the state.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the computers that handle the trade executions for the New York Stock Exchange favor Goldman Sachs by delaying the incoming data flow of others by just enough time to guarantee GS the upper hand in front-running. In fact, who’s to say that GS isn’t running their program trading on those very computers directly? If you had a $100,000,000/day golden goose would you leave your grip on it to the chance of competition?

Of course you know the cuts in ireland are a class based attack on the poor, the working class and the lower middle class workers in public sector.
Exempt are those who sold land to developers, developers, bankers who loaned to developers and in general the rich who benefitted most from the celtic tiger economy.
Cut spending and tax the poor is the cry from all sections of the establishment. There is no alternative. Nothing much changes.
Usually, a fiat-money currency loses value once the government which acts as the issuer refuses to further guarantee its value through taxation, but a strong private banking system and consensus of the population may prevent this. Hmmmmm, indeedy!!
Not sure what to make of this…

Mike: the lobbyists are relegating their duties to homeless people so they can get manicures and so-such instead of standing in line. The trickling down is from the corporations through lobbyist to homeless and then through political channels to we the people, when we get cookies and coffee at public meetings and so-such.

@Sharon,….Here’s a poignant passage from that link you posted,.. for all those who think they have any power in todays system:
If you don’t know the power structures beginnings then you are doomed forever to repeat the same mistakes as those that preceded you in their quest to seek justice. To truly win in the situation there must be a concerted effort of at least 70 percent of the people to overturn the present state of affairs. That will not happen because of the ignorance of the masses that are so easily led by those in power

ps…..there are no celebrities or semi- celebrities living in my area ,just me.
here in australia it is still a fools paradise for so called ‘real estate’, of any kind $500,000 will not buy you very much perhaps something in the worst of the western suburbs , ‘the downturn’ has yet to be felt but there is a growing sense of ‘quiet desperation ‘ filtering through ,most people do not think it is possible ,they are still hypnotised by the whole thing and all those tee vee renovation shows which have now finished but continue to work their magic long after , also an extension first home loan grant to those who are most vulnerable etc , with all those home renovation shows ,who would ever had thought that someones idea of prime time entertainment would be watching someone paint a wall ? [not me] trouble is that property crash has happened before ,but not in living memory , property prices collapsed in 1890 after a gold boom and did not fully recover or stay above their pre 1890 prices [melbourne] until late 1970 s.[almost 100 years after ! yikes !] this has been forgotten by the media and is never mentioned . the so called housing shortage in australia is an illusion created by idiots flipping housing, with most money for housing going to already existing homes not newly built homes , once the crash begins the so called ‘shortage shall quickly turn into a ‘glut ‘ of great magnitude . houses in australia are between 7 – 9 times average wage , should be 2.5 times average wage..its going to be messy and very unpleasant. ‘should i stay or should i go ‘?
That’s who we need regulating the greedy ‘stab in the back’ bankers a ‘love thy neighbour’ christian. He will really teach them what’s what.

what ever happened to the days when people who made their living from usury of any kind, regardless of how much money they made, were simply referred to as , ‘ filthy . paphlagonians ‘ the term derived from depiction of characters as portrayed in the plays of Plautus and Aristophanes ,[ancient rome, greece ],where the character of the Paphlagonian was a stock charcater often portrayed as a sausage seller in the market place at the forum and the butt of everyone’s jokes . wall street bankers, being nothing more than just a bunch of filthy paphlagonian scum.[ i guess this includes timothy and mr 50 cent. being now just two more failed 'real' estate speculators ,if the graphs are`correct it will likely be generations before prices return /game over.]
This is so insane, when there is a need for collective efforts for responsibility then everybody (banksters) run away. So predictable. This will turn ugly when people wake up and realize they are stuck with the bill, much more ugly than we have seen.
