Stacy is open to suggestions on questions

Stacy Summary: Thanks to @Marcus for suggesting Geoffrey Robertson, QC. He is our guest for the next episode of On the Edge. We are going to ask him about the hypothetical case against the financial oligarchs. Anyone have questions that you think we should ask him . . . the comments are open to your suggestions!

The following week’s guest is Mike Morgan of GoldmanSachs666, so you can also offer suggestions for questions for him, too.

In the meantime, here is another @Adam masterpiece for your Sunday contemplation:

When the gangs take over Wall St . . . remember, he's on your side

  1. @ Stacy

Suggestions for possible guests: David Harvey http://davidharvey.org/ or Steve Keens http://www.debtdeflation.com/blogs/ ?

  2. @stacy I would ask Robertson whether he thinks the justice system as a whole is equipped to be a fair party to the citizen in prosecuting crimes in the current environment. The laws have been lobbied to pieces so it is hard to see it produce justice by itself. Lawyers make a fortune for no apparent reason other then that they cornered a market. The lawyers at The Hague pay no taxes. Is such an elite class going to create any meaningfull outcome?

Small speck of light in a case there the defendant against the RIAA was granted a pro bono lawyer.. http://tinyurl.com/m89fbo

  3. http://www.collective-noun.com/ anyone like to suggest from the link attached a suitable collective noun for a group of politicians, bankers ? …here are some to choose from : an ‘ambush ‘of bankers , a’ balding’ of politicians / an ‘unkindness’ of bankers , a ‘murder’ of bankers , a conspiracy of bankers , a ‘dole’ of bankers, ‘a flink’ of politicians , a ‘yoke’ of bankers many more too good to choose from the list ..,, my favourites for a collective noun for a group of bankers are : a ‘murder’ of bankers, a ‘yoke ‘of bankers and for a group of politicians a ‘balding’ of politicians seems appropriate , for animals my favourites are a ballet of swans , and an ascension of larks ., a pounce of kittens.

    @Stacy,
    Question for Geoffrey Robertson,
‘would he consider the words ‘coup de tat’ apply to what Goldman have done?’
    another one:
‘in any ‘normal’ situation’ would he consider deficit spending as ridiculous in a time of economic downturn, the only thing backing it is China’s willingness to buy the bonds and what repercussions for the future?’
    another one:
Where does he sit with global governance and the current corrupt global bodies – IMF, BIS etc running the global currency in the future?
If I think of anymore I’ll post them, thanks.
Max going viral but no donut for his other vid lol.

    @marcus,
    a gangster of banksters,
    a manipulation of banksters,
    a cesspool of banksters,

congrats @Max & Stacy btw for Geoffrey robertson, should a very interestig show. :-)

  8. I dont know whats funnier – the deliberately dodgy photoshopping, or the fact that one of the more prominent crusaders against modern financial despotism is the dodgy photoshopper ;)

  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJhSbI5EK-8

from about 44:00 – 60:00 minutes he covers hedge funds and derivatives market and the ponzi nature of stock markets etc… and points out that there is a certain class that is benefiting from the destruction. Would be interesting to hear Max talking to him about Goldman etc..

He also suggests at 14:00 that Lehman was deliberately allowed to collapse by the fed to globalize the crisis.

  10. Re: Geoffrey Robertson, QC. My impression of him has always been that he is well in with the oligarchs so his appearance on the show should be interesting, but he is very establishment imo – perhaps I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Anyway, please, please ask him about the role of the bank of England, in particular getting him to admit that a) it is a private company, b) many of our taxes are paid to it, c) it acts in the same way as the Federal Reserve and has a complete lack of transparancy, and d) we would be much better off without it!
He should also admit to the fact that we have a fractional reserve banking system which is in effect a ponzi scheme that hugely disadvantages its citizens as it is based on the practice of usary.

  11. Oh, and also please ask him when was the last time the Bank of England was audited.

  12. MasterSlave

    NICE LoL

    Go MAX

    OFF WITH THERE HEADS..

  15. . @ max ,i agree Goldman Sachs need to go before the Hague.and the sooner the better ! i have a question for Geoffrey Robinson ? …any chance of having a re -run of Nürnberg Trials for the likes of Celine Dion and others of her ilk ? these people make atrocious music and inflict it upon the rest of us, humanity ,and have no right to , i don’t see why they should escape natural justice either ?, anyone else got a few suggestions or some names they would like to add to the list ? no need to stop here…..how about Jacko ? or maybe sir paul mccartney for’ mull of McIntyre’ ? that song is terrible ? [ sorry if i have offended anyone ] love to hear your thoughts on who else should be subscribed ,should be interesting listening to Geoffrey Robinson @snoop diddy @ mother of earth ,..loved your suggestions for terms collective nouns for bankers ! it would be funny if the media had to preface the word ‘bankers’ with each of your suggestions each time the word ‘bankers was used by the media.

  16. correction ,.. ‘subscribed ‘should read ‘proscribed. ‘ ta.

  17. Mr Supergeek

    @marcus
A whored of bankers…sorry a ‘hoard’ of bankers…also I nominate U2 for crimes against…well pretty much everything that is decent in this world.

  18. stacy

    question:

who has the authority to disband the federal reserve and prosecute the bankster criminals?

  19. Ask Geoff, If he had to choose to do something productive in his life,…what would it be?!

  20. @ Dedo……….ha, ha!………Good one!

  21. I have a suggestion about this website.

I’d like to see some Google ads on this website. The money you’ll make from it can be spend for Max’s appearances around the world. Or they could be used to finance the operations of PirateMyFilm.

But please, don’t waste this opportunity to make money.

    Regards
    Gauhar

  22. @george

The funnier thing is, it was done using MS Paint. Photoshop? Who needs high end crap!

  23. Max….I think we all agree that some real stress tests are in order,
and not just for 19 banks, bondholders and the SEC. Kindly, bitch slap Charlie Rose with the goal of asking some pertinent questions of his visitors from Wall Street. The financial elite just
don’t fear the average Joe or care much for his lowly opinion. I think the french are on to something…….Ciao Pessoal

  24. I haven’t trusted the “Guardian UK” much since 9/11. They just did a piece on the Giant Blood Sucking Squid that Ate Wall St, but didn’t mention Max Keiser. Turns out they have only mentioned Max’s name 3 times, and not once this year as he has gained international stature. The short version is that those punks are pussies. They can’t hang when it comes to human rights, or values.

How, why anyone would put up with the one-sided journalism in the UK is beyond me. Of course, few Americans realize how positively ‘objective’ the BBC could have been called BEFORE they created BBC-USA, a swine-flu generating operation if there ever was one.

  25. Actually, we haven’t heard a good bedtime story about the NGO’s that are hard at work exploiting those in Africa, the likes of Bono, et all.

I agree with the prior point, McCartney should be fined for each solo LP, and additional charges for each really awful song released since the White LP. Celine Dijon should stick to singing in French, or some other romance language, so as to be easily recognizable as lite porn.

..And, on that note, few would deny that “Mademoiselle K” would make a superlative President of the EU, her operational election mantra: “Turn up the tremelo, -here comes the First Lady!”

  26. Dear M&S
    Questions for Mike Morgan:

    WHO is behind goldman sachs?
WHY did they destroy the economy?
    WHAT will they do next?

  27. Heard about an interesting maneuver today in California. Banks are only allowed to market a 30 day inventory of REOs and must retain rest on their balance sheet. This has led to a shortage of housing in some areas as there are many, many REOs. The prices have been bid up accordingly by $30,000-40,000. This forced constraining of supply is jumping prices right back up to where they were in these areas. Add to that the allegations that Goldman Sachs may be in on this.
