Also how likely is a right wing coup in the US? There are enough willing and armed men at those town hall meetings and in the rest of the US to execute one..
I propose this analysis:
People sell you either what you need, or some drug/stuff that makes you think you need it. Most US citizen are TV, fat, porn, fear, celebrity, superiority, consumption and gambling addicts, some all at the same time.. I say cold turkey all of that!
This whole “We have to save system banking or else…”, ” We are bussy oiling the real economy” and “green shoots”, all are myths and a heist to suck in the money from the real economy.
In fact the money in the real economy was so tight that deflation is going on from some time now and covered by low oil prices. The economy was put in a deadlock from October 2008 and the economy has been in free fall since and is sliding through even accelerating.
Banks still are over leveraged, under capitilized, have loads of unsellable toxic assests and still don’t trust each other. Now to much money has gone into a oversized failing Molech who’s even hiring new personal?
But taxpayers have to suffer for $24 trill and over not doing anything for the real economy. Molech is not an economy any more but Molech so fire everywhere.
The run for bottem is a good thing if it hopefully get some more people awake. Or am I being to optimistic again?

@Youri Carma: So true, your posts are spot on: what is needed is a spokesman much like another Ross Perot who stands up and says the modern version that instead of NAFTA being the great “sucking sound of jobs going south” THAT instead the financial coup d’etat lead by the FED is another great syphoning of wealth being transferred to the few,,,,again and again and again…and that the US government is but a delivery system for this to happen and every act of congress is solely for that purpose….and every agency in the executive does the same…and the FED is the main facilitator…and that person needs to have global integrity…who can that person be???????? Otherwise we are all preaching to the choir…Even in the end if that person is maligned eventually this position will bear out….after all truth shall prevail…It is clear to me that if we permit the banking system to prevail and the derivatives and swaps, and the other destructive financial devices ( short selling, high leveraging, front running, high frequency trading, insider trading, fraud on a grand scale, captured regulators, market manipulation, etc,) to be maintained as before then we sacrifice the entire global human destiny….almost 7 billion people… without a chance to express their creative lives for advancing the culture we call civilization….so that a hadful of powerful super elite can live in the lap of luxury..if Thorsten Veblem was right—-there is no class warfare as we aspire to the be wealthy and thus do not violently overthrow their shackles and chains…we must arise from this human condition…and so RISE UP!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Mother, a right wing coup in the usa might well be staged (as in faked, hyped up, media created astro-turf) and the PTB might even pretend to be defeated. The “new” administration will then accelerate the implementation of martial law.
Other scenarios are possible, of course, but I think this is the most likely.

I don’t think a grass roots right wing coup is possible right now. I say “grass roots” since that’s what you’re talking about a bunch of NRA guys with guns somehow taking over some aspect of govt.
While a “high level” coup is conceivable at any time (eg. something like Kennedy assassination) I don’t see that in the cards.
What I do see is an INTENTIONAL effort to set the stage for the kind of coup or disorder you are talking about. Ask yourself, what conditions were ideal to allowing Hitler to take over? Answer: hyperinflation. While some foresee hyperinflation coming as a result of a Fed experiment going wrong, I see it as a deliberate outcome, which benefits people in power both before (while the dollar dominates the world as reserve currency) and after (once the totalitarian take over is complete)
Did everybody notice how the price of gold jumped after the PIMCO announcement. This is a perfect example of one hedge fund’s ability to manipulate markets. Anybody in the know that PIMCO was going to say this today could have borrowed $1 billion, bought gold (or futures) and sold for a 1% profit ($10 million) in hours.
@Dante: I was less concerned with Perot’s stance than the impetus he garnered by saying it…we need a similar billionaire to espouse a anti-financial coup stance that reaches through the global media cacaphony …..The sound bite is the message…who delivers it is our messenger…so any suggestions????????
MotherEarth, I’ve been reading your posts for a while now and I’ve come to the conclusion that you don’t know much about Americans or perhaps North Americas in general. I’ll make a point going forward to do what I can to rectify this lack of understanding and post applicable links to help you along.
However, that being said, your right-wing implication confuses me. In the case of citizens exercising their 2nd amendment rights at town halls, specifically on the 17th of this month in the open carry state of Arizona, CNN reported two gentlemen carrying AR-15′s. While the camera showed a well-dressed (shirt and tie) black fellow obviously supporting the Pro-Reform/Obamacare side, the so-called journalist could hardly contain himself over seeing someone else also armed, who happened to no longer be around. Although this second man was among Obama supports the reporter thought this man was from the opposing side because he heard him using the word “socialism” — something now frowned upon by the left since Mr. Obama has taken office.
To some extent, what we may be seeing here are agent provocateurs, something everyone should be aware of at these types of protests.
