  1. But I thought Obama was pushing the Health care. However I agree that he is just a Goldmansockpuppet
    The End of it

  2. BTW in the last 10 minutes of the Podcast, Max basically answers the question…”Why are the Chinese promoting Gold ownership to their citizens?”

Duh they are at War, Gold is their weapon. I think GS understands this and is now going to allow Gold to rise some to appease the Chinese.

  3. Hyper Max is back! LOL

    Great show!

  4. @Stacy

Well, as Max summarised about economics in general, it’s either ‘price discovery’ or ‘price fixing’.

Assuming price discovery ie., private healthcare, why are the regulations that prevent collusion and monopolies so likely to fail for healthcare when they work for other industries?

Whilst I understand that socialized healthcare will always win the moral argument in the short-term, if it isn’t sustainable in the long-term, what good does it do except foster a reliance on government who has to go deep into the red (hello, NHS) to keep the illusion of ‘free’ going?

I’m concerned for the poor who suffer the inflation tax that the middleclass can more easily avoid. Low cost healthcare affordable to all is the ideal. Germany and Japan manage this. The ‘better the devil you know’ argument by Canadians and Brits for their socialized systems just doesn’t stand up to serious scrutiny.

@gb: precisely!!!!! If we have been listening clearly to Max over the years and others….we have a captured regulatory system ( all of them not just the ones that oversee the financial sector) within a government here and abroard that has been hijacked to form a ( as J Perkins defined as a corportocracy)…a form of fascism…the fundamentals have not in the slightest been reformed…so nor are we to assume that the eventual Obamacare legislation here in the states will remarkably change the basics…it merely once again syphens premium payments to the administration costs( and again to the major providers)…IMHO any and all congressional legislation merely as C. A. Fitts so eloquently points out is a means to and I give further reference to B & W chemist Jeffrey Weigand who on 60 Minutes once described cigarettes as a “DELIVERY SYSTEM” for nicotine and thus the budgetary process is in kind a delivery system to syphen money to the heavy hitters ( corporate political contributors)…so the heist goes on…As an example…the ‘cash for clunkers” program was halted as soon as the $3 billion expended….even though as a program it may have created a huge boon to the auto industry ( but apparently more for Japan than the USA)….thus it was halted…not because it was a failure…it was a resounding success…So my intuitive thinking concerning Obamacare is that as soon as the pharmaceutical/insurance industries reap their boon then the program will leave the dregs and meager benefits to the masses….So my point being that the K Street folks are first in line and the masses are once again stone last..if at all…

  6. if corporations and the government are one and the same, then isn’t the health care debate a card trick? no matter what, the same people will be running it, or it’ll be changed after a short time in some way and then it will stink because for some reason, at the highest levels it has been decided that the health care in the U.S. has to be awful if you have less than a very good income.

  7. Freud in his letters to Fleiss writes ‘psychoanalysis is a cure through love’. He also states (wittily) the goal of pyschoanalysis is to turn neurotic misery into everyday unhappiness,he also said of America that ‘it is a mistake’. How this fits in with the teachings of Dr Dobson and Dr Spock I’m not sure, but there is a real need to reclaim Freud from these charlatans.

Jesus wasn’t black he was Irish, look at the evidence his mother was named Mary (archetypal Irish girls name), his dad was named Joseph (also an archetypal Irish boys name), they migrated to Nazareth where Joe worked as a carpenter during a housing boom.

Obama is a mountebank plain and simple, no surprise there really.

  8. More than an hour ago appeared a small post of my, talking
about a funny little head. This remark was actually related to a long post
which is awaiting approval. The mails asks the viewers of this block
if the current crisis could be a Ziu(o)ny(i)st conspiracy. It has no hu(a)te speech or four letter words. I presented a lists of 8 points which I based researched evidence based on the author snillum (read backwards).
If there are filters at work how do they work and why?
Please stacy, max help me to get out of my beginning paranoia.

  9. You where discussing what the psychological problem is with the “right” vs the “left”

Here is something about the ideas among the leftists. Jean Twenge says in “The Narcissism Epidemic” :

“There was a survey done last year asking college students about their academic experiences. To the question “If you explain to your professor that you’re trying hard, should he or she increase your grade?” two-thirds of college students said yes. I’m a professor and I study narcissism, and I was still shocked by that number! The “everybody gets a trophy” mentality basically says that you’re going to get rewarded just for showing up. First of all, that’s not how the real world works. Second, that won’t build true self-esteem; instead, it builds this empty sense of “I’m just fantastic, not because I did anything but just because I’m here.”

  10. @Jay Randall .. YT Video

Thanks .. very well done, especially the last few minutes !

    Again , your link :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSYiCLloShE

  11. @Jay Randall … YT Video : “McKinsey

    No surprise here IMO !

I posted here before that these “US Public Accounting” Cos. like Arthur Anderson etc. etc. are all the new forms of “Eco Hitmen” . Even Perkins says : “they’re more sophisticated now and moving in higher circles”. He quit working for them in ca. 1980 IIRC !

  12. @Phil

Yeah, I know… leaving that stuff out makes it harder to debunk the book via ad-hominem attacks. And I agree with you there. He should have published that separately. But the stuff about the bankers organizing Napoleon’s defeat… Fascinating. Cross-reference this with Mike Rupper’t info re: the CIA, Alan Dulles and world banking interests and what do you get? Remember, most of the DCI’s were Wall Street guys, NOT Generals.

    Peace, all!

    HR 1207, baby!

  13. @Phil – I agree wholeheartedly about TCFJI!!!

@mep – this should explain some of Obama’s maneuverings:

    http://www.econocataclysm.com/the-problem-with-obama-video/

@Phil – remember, nobody MADE Obama pick Tim Geithner for Treasury, nor did they MAKE him decide to re-nominate “Helicopter” Ben. Everything Obama is doing, including selling out his own health care plan before it even gets debated on, plays right into Wall Street’s hands. I refuse to carry water for him anymore. And I voted for him!!!

Peace, all, I have to actually LISTEN to the Max & Stacy show I just downloaded lolz!!! Love the discussions on here though. As good as the ones on Zero Hedge! Final thought for the night:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSYiCLloShE

Nobody MADE Obama drink the Free Trade Kool-Aid. He LOVES it!!!

  14. @Jay Randall .. forgot to mention …

At the end of TCFJI, Griffin goes way out on a limb and goes away from his dry facts approach to starts talking about the MIC and FED as we would here , i.e. “Conspiracy talk”.

Although I agree with him … I think he should have kept the book as “dry facts” and should have included those final thoughts into a separate book.
Why ? … because those last chapters make it easy for the PTB to shoot the whole book down and label it as “Conspiracy” ; despite it being true IMO !

  15. @Jay Randall .. TCFJI

Yes, THE most important work of the last 96 years !
    … ie. since 1913 !

  16. @Mep .. Obama

I thought about your “theory” as well ….
…. the idea that Obama just might turn out to be the Trojan Horse for the Banksters , CIA and MIC.

It’s a nice thought, but probably just that. After all, he has a wife and kids to “worry” about and either has to play the game or end up as another ridiculous “Warren Report” !

According to Griffin’s TCFJI, nearly all those murdered were opposed to a non Gold backed US$, i.e. “for” Fiat-Bankster control.

  17. @Phil

I’ll have to watch that one, I was already familiar with “Hitman”, “Jekyll Island” and “Rubicon”, Mike Rupert is one of my faves! Thanks for the link! (I actually READ Jekyll Island all the way through. VERY long, 1000+ pages, but VERY worth it I’m sure you’ll agree)

  18. another great show Max & Stacy!

    did you see this…interesting?

    http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Korea/KI01Dg01.html

  19. @Mep

You’re so naive. Obama is bought and paid for. Look at the people he’s got around him, outsourcing gurus and Goldmanite Robert Rubin disciples. The Right is just blowing smoke, the fact is that Goldman is getting their $981,000 out of Obama, and then some:

  20. Where is the uncensored version? What’s with the beeps. Sensitive little anglo saxon souls?

  21. Tony – Doh! Yes, James Dobson. We made the show too early in the morning. :)

@Adam C – I think in France only 70% of the health care costs are socialized; only emergency room & chronic care is covered 100%; so everyone gets supplementary insurance to cover the remaining 30%

  22. M&S the first 40 minutes of this show where the worse i ever heard from you. I dont need zynical info about torture or pysicopath crap, financial backgroud stuff is the right thing.

  23. @Jay Randall

To understand the enormity of how fraudulent the US ( Corporate ) Financial system is as a whole, I recommend you watch the Video from Catherine Austin-Fitts – takes about 45 minutes. Be patient .. it starts slowly , but the information gets exponentially more interesting !
I consider it to be one of the most important videos around.
Takes the wind out of the “anti Conspiracy Theory” people’s sails.

Combine this with “Crossing the Rubicon”, “Confessions of an Economic Hitman” and “The Creature from Jekyll Island” and you start to get the whole picture.

It seems that the US Govt. has perfected the “method” of Financial War post Vietnam … to steal resources in return for interest on their monopoly-money.

  24. @Vainamoinen

John Mackey came out in support of the death panels nonsense. And as much as he CLAIMS to be for “Free Market Reform”, he made NO MENTION of HR 1583, the House bill to repeal the anti-trust exemption that insurance companies get under the McCarran-Ferguson Act:

    http://capwiz.com/asashop/issues/bills/?bill=12986511

And these people will NEVER mention that, either. Remember this: Fascists are NOT good businessmen. The only way Fascists know to make a buck is by capturing Government agencies and handing monopolies to themselves… which is the entire point of Guy Caruso’s work in suppressing energy research as well. It all relates. Fascism is the real enemy.

  25. @Phil

“Yes, “rigged” in terms of being a 2-party system that doesn’t really give you a real choice, because WS controls both parties anyway.”

Very well said, and sadly very true. And Obama will NEVER repeal the Patriot Act, nor will he ever oppose the Israel Lobby, nor will he EVER withdraw from Iraq. Two parties, one master, one goal: Fascism.

  26. Some future energy links:

    http://www.integrityresearchinstitute.org/

Integrity Research Institute, it was Thomas Valone who put me onto the Guy Caruso thing. If you email Tom he’ll be only too happy to talk about it. The fusion of Big Oil and Big Government that makes this sort of scientific suppression possible is the very essence of Fascism, yet the Radical Left seems to be just fine with this almost to the point of supporting it… kinda makes you wonder. And another link:

    http://focusfusion.org/

Eric Lerner’s Focus Fusion Society. Uses 100% off the shelf parts, and has been funded by major governments (most notably NOT the US, which is too invested in petrodollar recycling to ever want a real, clean alternative…) The theory is sound, and he is actually BUILDING THE THING RIGHT NOW!!!

@Max: How about a futures fund for future energy? MUAHAHAHA!!!!

  27. @WL

I have no problem with the radical left or anyone else using the internet and a system of donations to sidestep the mainstream media. The specific problem I have with Indymedia is their exterme anti-technological bent – something which has severely infected and ineffectualized the modern left for some time now. My first attempt at journalism there ended in failure: I was attempting to bring to light Fascist (government/corporate) mechanisms to suppress alternative energy research: zero point energy, focus fusion, that sort of thing. I had gotten as far as finding out that there is one guy always at the center of such attempts:

    http://csis.org/expert/guy-caruso

…and the “collective” just started stomping my ass!!! They hate technology, period. They spend a great deal of energy opposing “Car Culture” and related things even if clean energy sources can be found, it’s more of some kind of twisted aesthetic involving the “Noble Savage” or some such nonsense. If I had to construct a conspiracy theory based on my own personal experiences, I would say that movement had something to do with Big Oil because all of the “Solutions” they offer for current energy problems all involve stuffing everyone onto collective farms and handing out bicycles and other things which most people in the West just ignore. But they’re so pervasive that you can’t start anything up without a whole bunch of those people showing up to sabotage it. Furthermore, these are the same people who had that giant collective freak-out when Bush stole the 2000 election… conveniently ignoring the vast extent to which the Democratic party had been selling us out with things like NAFTA, PRWORA and the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, and the fact that Treasury and the Fed, basically the people responsible in practice for widening the gap between rich and poor, are always the same Wall Street clowns no matter WHO is in office. Carrying water for the Democrats like that requires a certain amount of willful ignorance that I am simply not capable of, but these people are.

On the other hand, I hate Israel and I think we (The US) should withdraw our hand of protection from them at once AND demand all of our aid money back… but AIPAC is the second strongest political lobby in DC right after the AAPR and the only Congressmen with the guts to defy them so far have been Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. The US is Israel’s client state, not the other way around – just ask the families of the men who died on the NSA’s ELINT ship the USS Liberty:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident

A more detailed version can be found in Bamford’s “Body of Secrets” and “The Puzzle Palace”. Israel gets whatever it wants, often to our detriment. So I’m with the Indymedia/Democracy Now crowd there. But this technological suppression kick of theirs just makes me wonder… wouldn’t it be nice if we had HONEST Socialists around somewhere who weren’t obsessed with some kooky hidden agenda? I’m still looking…

  28. sorry that “funny” face appeared by…. I do not know

  29. Max,

Re: Obama’s work ethic, I have no complaints about how hard he is working. I do have a laundry list of complaints about the decisions he has made, though.

It’s worth recalling that when FDR was trying to pull the country out of the Great Depression, corporations and others in high places–including George W.’s grand daddy–planned a coup to overthrow the gov’t and usher in fascism. (Link for people who don’t know that bit of history: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/document/document_20070723.shtml ) My gut feeling is that Obama is going after the goons with kid gloves in order to keep them happy enough that they don’t think about planning such a thing against him. However, the fact of the matter is that they ARE trying to oust him. This time, they’ve got a different method. They’re attempting to delegitimize him as President (ie the whole birther thing and Muslim thing), make him look like he is against the military and the CIA (by claiming he is making the country less safe and claiming that he is attacking the CIA), and tag him as a socialist/communist/fascist/Marxist. Once he’s seen as un-American and sub-human, it’s easy to convince ignorant people that Obama wants to use health care reform to kill old people, get veterans to commit suicide, deny Republicans health care, and indoctrinate the nation’s kids. Easier yet to manipulate those people via the media into participating in corporate-funded and conceived events–whether they be tea parties or town mauls. I get that there are some people who just hate all Democrats and hate Obama for that reason. Overall, though, I see the violent and insane rhetoric as well as the out-of-control behavior at town halls as a product of deliberate social-engineering on the part of corporations & right-wing think tanks. There is no doubt in my mind that beyond simple political intimidation, their ultimate goal is to see the President dead.

    Stacy,

After thinking about it for awhile, I think I’ve figured out what the GOP/Big Business method is: it’s an extension of the Bush Doctrine. Everywhere you see people throwing themselves in front of cars, I see preemptive strikes. The latest example of such a strike: the hysteria over the President addressing school kids about the importance of education. Seems that every time it’s known that Obama is going to do something, the right preempts him so as to make it plain what they think is acceptable or unacceptable for him to say or do . . . to state their demands and frame things in the way they want them framed or else!

Another something worth remembering: the astroturfers are actually using the playbook of the Brooks Brothers Rioters, who staged the Presidential coup of 2000:

    http://vodpod.com/watch/2009755-maddow-gop-is-using-the-brooks-brothers-riot-playbook

    Well done .. well explained.

  31. On health: Keep it up with the abstract lefty reality re-synthesizing. Keep it right up.

  32. Here’s Max always talking about how Americans are passive and won’t stand up for their rights, and here’s Stacy criticizing people standing up and protesting the health care debacle. For people who have seemed to know where they stand, this points to an undisclosed cofusion in the ranks.

  33. If you had a normal government you could vote for a form of public healthcare which is working quiet good although in the Netherlands it’s moving down hill like almost evrything in the last 15 years. Neo-Liberalism destroyed a lot and made the poor get poorer and the puisant rich stinking rich. Now the’ve given even more power!?

If you let banksters and insurance companies decide you bound to end up in Nazi land cause these people only do numbers and have no moral background in their education. Sociopaths get high up in the organisation quickly, cause that’s their nature and Zyklon B is just around the corner cause it’s cheaper to get rid of some. just some good ol KD number works.

If you look at who is the head of this health system this ecoscience psychophatic genesist Holdren I’ll fully understand you don’t trust any system this Obama lobbyist misgovernment proposes.

The plan is clear. Let the economy collapse and before everybody gets awake put everybody in the Army for some sweet meat grinding WOIII against Syria, Lebanon, Libie, Somalie, Sudan and finish the encirclement round Iran to finish it with. This all sounds pretty sureal but until now I just see them carrying on their plans so no reason to think otherwise.

I am surprised to see how easy the American people, also in the army, go along with this develish sceme. Heard no protest what so ever from the regular GI Joes while their home country gets destroyed they just keep signing up and fight in some far away country.

  34. Neo-Feudal Casino-Gulag Plantation Economy Minion

It is called “Busting Out The Joint.” It works like this: The individual (or business) gets his tit caught in a wringer and needs to get protection or cash to keep afloat. He usually has to go to criminal types (loan sharks) for “help.” When he signs this pact with the devil it is only a matter of time before the inevitable occurs. If the business can’t meet its payments it goes out of business. Usually the product and assets are stripped over a period of time by these newly acquired bankers (loan sharks). Then the business is destroyed. In the end the business is torched. In Mafia parlance it is called “Busting Out The Joint.”

The hedged miners find themselves in a similar situation. Ashanti (ASL) and Cambior (CBJ) have already been “Busted Out” and for Barrick (ABX) and AngloGold (AU) it is only a matter of time. They have made a pact with the devil by getting in bed with the Mafia (Bullion Bankers). When POG really takes off these poor companies will be “Busted Out” leaving their shareholders poorer for the experience.

  35. @max

on your own admission, when you backed Obama last year, you now admit you were wrong; which you have acknowledged is the best thing a broker can do. I welcome the admission max keiser can be wrong.

I listen to webster tarpleys podacst every saturday and, honestly, he hasn’t let me down yet ( Stacy, please get the podcast by typing in ‘world crisis radio’ into the podcast search, its like zero hedge but in discussion)

I know he’s been on alex jones’ show, which many distrust, but again as i say, he hasn’t let me down yet.

Che Guevara: At the risk of sounding ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by feelings of love.

    LOVE BABY, LOVE!!!!

PS: Welcome back y’all, really missed your commentary. Max, just gonna throw this out there, if Ireland rejects Lisbon 2 (ie Treaty of the Oiligarchs) that stripey blue tie is MINE!!!

YOU CAME UP WITH FINANCIAL TERRORISM!!!!!

  36. @MaxKeiser:
I’m calling into question the nominal amount of the outstanding derivatives contracts you mentioned on your program. The notional nonsence on the books at the BIS is the crux of the crisis, not Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan Chase.

The derivative contracts that China is calling into question are not related to gold, as Stacy indicated. There is no link.

Is the crisis at hand a decoupling of China from the BIS hegemony?

Why do you refuse to talk about Basel 1 and 2 and the profound effect these regulations, eminating out of BIS, are having on US banks?

Why do you call your program, The Truth about the Markets? Who has price discovery been seized from? Why don’t you tell your listeners about the true role of the BIS in price manipulation?

  37. Bottom line: Fair financial system= fair health system, fair social order, fair political system, fair corporate system

    @david and others who care
destroyed a guy over the lisbon debate tonight over a few pints, a friend of a friend; once you open up a can of whup ass on these people and quote adam curtis and fear being the weapon, they’re finished. PPP was also mentioned and I blitzed that too. oh and one of the lads was a farmer and he said he was gonna vote yes; ‘because he’s afraid’! however, he told me he was so taken my passion ( i didnt know i had it in me!) that he’s now gonna vote no. thats great but you get my point on the mob; they can be so easily changed. BANG. MIND MADE UP!

ADAM CURTIS FOR THE KEISER REPORT!

  38. The US military is apparently pushing the same evangelical views that Max Blumenthal talks about in his interview on Democracy Now.

Religion and the Army article on Nefaria.com
    http://tinyurl.com/ng9jlf

  39. Stacy, the term is corporeal: corporEal, not corporal. Corporeal punishment is what you were attempting to discuss. Corporals exist in the military. Corporeal punishment would involve the flesh. This would include any slaps a parent might lightly administer to a naughty two-year-old who decides that Janey looks like lunch and chomps heartily down on Janey’s arm.

So, since perhaps the majority of parents do from time to time administer a slap to their errant offspring, it could be inferred that Democracy Now and the Army of Corporal Let’s Tell You Truthers have proclaimed the PARENTS as the enemy of the state. PARENTS are the ones who are at fault when people commit crimes.

I say bullocks to that nonsence. I say the big money is riding on the UN and the mandates eminating from the House of Law and its either tow the line or line up.

    well, I’m ready

  41. I’m somewhat confused by Max and Stacy’s polarized ‘wholesale vs retail’ healthcare argument.

Perhaps the healthcare issue is so heated for all Americans that they lose sight of the ideal: low-cost healthcare affordable by all.

America doesn’t need a public option, it needs MORE competition in the private sector free of government meddling.

Some links that inform this view:

How American Health Care Killed My Father
    http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200909/health-care

‘All of the actors in health care—from doctors to insurers to pharmaceutical companies—work in a heavily regulated, massively subsidized industry full of structural distortions. They all want to serve patients well. But they also all behave rationally in response to the economic incentives those distortions create. Accidentally, but relentlessly, America has built a health-care system with incentives that inexorably generate terrible and perverse results. Incentives that emphasize health care over any other aspect of health and well-being. That emphasize treatment over prevention. That disguise true costs. That favor complexity, and discourage transparent competition based on price or quality. That result in a generational pyramid scheme rather than sustainable financing. And that—most important—remove consumers from our irreplaceable role as the ultimate ensurer of value. Imagine how things might change if more people were buying their health care the way they buy anything else. I’m certain that all the obfuscation over prices would vanish pretty quickly, and that we’d see an end to unreadable bills. And that physicians, who spend an enormous amount of time on insurance-related paperwork, would have more time for patients. You can feel grateful for the protection currently offered by Medicare (or by private insurance) only if you don’t realize how much you truly spend to fund this system over your lifetime, and if you believe you’re getting good care in return. Like its predecessors, the Obama administration treats additional government funding as a solution to unaffordable health care, rather than its cause. The current reform will likely expand our government’s already massive role in health-care decision-making—all just to continue the illusion that someone else is paying for our care.’

Peter Schiff has a similarly common sense perspective:

How to Cure Health-Care Reform (Peter Schiff)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Er8llKAbjwQ

Whilst France and Britain have fully socialised healthcare, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan and Switzerland provide universal coverage using private doctors, private hospitals and private insurance plans:

5 Myths About Health Care Around the World
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/08/21/AR2009082101778_pf.html

As I Brit, I understand that the majority of the British public are still so in love with the *ideal* of the NHS that they are able to turn a blind eye to the bloated bureaucracy, postcode rationing, lengthy waiting times, bad hygiene, low staff morale, low staff wages, DEBT, etc, etc. There’s no possibility for a rational debate here at least not whilst the government can still borrow to keep the whole ship afloat.

Agree, Max is way off on the Whole Foods thing. He is criticizing big gov takeover of healthcare which is a Trojan horse, as is the current bill for a big public sector union. Obama is not about healthcare, he is about control, Everyone knows that the US health system needs reform just not Obama reform. Try tort reform, expand cross state insurance and force co’s to cover everyone for a start.

  47. Anybody else sick of Max talking about Whole Foods?

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB20001424052970204251404574342170072865070.html

“John Mackey, CEO and co-founder of Whole Foods wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal on August 12, 2009 quoting Margaret Thatcher and suggesting that healthcare is a commodity that only the rich, like him, deserve.” Quote from facebook.
This is nothing but a straw man argument. He never said that only the rich deserve health care but Max of course bought right into it. What John Mackey wanted was a changes that seem almost identical to Ron Paul’s ideas but I don’t see Max saying BOYCOTT CAMPAIGN FOR LIBERTY. So max please drop this stupidity and stick to outing corporatism and fraud which we can all agree must end.

  48. funny I meant prescribed not proscribed its antonym

  49. Stacy:
You made an error in your broadcast. The man you are trying to nab as child torture leader is JAMES Dobson, not Frank Dobson. Frank Dobson is a British MP.

The book you are referring to is Dare to Discipline. Dobson merely describes his belief that spanking is a practice proscribed by the Bible.

Do you believe that if parents spank their children it is torture?

Dobson does not advocate child abuse in any way.

  50. Soros recent purchase

    http://www.foxbusiness.com/story/markets/industries/industrials/soros-fund-management-llc-announces-increase-holdings-marengo-mining-limited/

    http://www.marengomining.com/

Marengo Mining Limited, a diversified metals company, has established a strong position in Papua New Guinea (PNG) with the rapidly-developing Yandera Copper-Molybdenum Project.

Marengo represents an excellent leveraged opportunity for these commodities in a country with a demonstrated capacity to host world class mineral deposits.

  51. @naomi … “government has the right under the new Patriot Act to “retrieve” private gold. ”

Of course ! They will always find new ways to legalize stealing your money .
As much as we all like to discuss the chances of “change”, they did elect Bush twice and Obama instead of Ron Paul…. didn’t they ! … or was the whole thing rigged ?
    ;-)
Yes, “rigged” in terms of being a 2-party system that doesn’t really give you a real choice, because WS controls both parties anyway.

Back to your Gold & the Patriot Act … does it state that “explicitly” ?

BTW…. why hasn’t Obama repealed the Act yet ?

  52. Max, even Borat could not come close to the same kind of invective against the Uzbekis as you had against whatever it was you were sayin’.

The key here is “gold equivalent ounces.” OTC contracts specifically meant to profit from the gold trade don’t really need gold. Well, the Chinese were probably fed up with receiving copper in lieu of bullion.

And by some happenstance, the major gold miners have long ceased to mine gold as a primary deposit, but are really copper miners with a gold by product. But they also had huge hedge books which needed to be written down. So with the magic of derivatives, the hedge books disappeared, and as long as the copper price went up, nobody noticed.

So copper is being traded as if it were gold under the theory that they are both equivalent commodities.

It comes as no surprise to see a rally in the gold price on the eve of the top in the copper price, according to COT numbers, and at the same time we hear the IMF was bailing out smaller currencies with $250b. I think a currency devaluation is in the offing, but its anybody’s guess just which currency.

  53. @sharon

Old European ideology and money. As for specific names, I don’t know, we have thrown around the common names and usual suspects, Soros is the front man and architect, the ideology is an alchemy of socialism and Marxism, The Bush/Cheny cabal was a competing faction but financially weak. Effectively taken out. This financial crises was engineered to take down capitalism and move in.

  54. Wow, I usually enjoy the show, but, whoa, Earth to Stacy… Dobson is the spiritual leader of protests against abusive government control?? (so dubbed right wing by the naive only)

That’s really about as close to reality as me spouting that I think it’s self evident that Larry Flynt is clearly the guiding force of your philosophy. Frankly, it’s utterly ridiculous.

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s a very wide swath of Americans with varying political beliefs who are very concerned that Obama, Pelosi & Reid lack the intellectual ability to implement such a huge government program.

Not to mention the fact that these people are every bit the paid-off stooges that populated the previous adminstration. All that’s for sure, is that corrupt politicians are extremely unlikely to create anything that’s likely to benefit anyone but themselves.

And also, I think people who try and paint all those who oppose corrupt goverment programs with a single brush simply ring hollow, and really, just a bit silly.

  55. RIP Vonnegut.

  56. Max, my husband and I were laughing our heads off during this program. Laughing through tears as it were. It’s so sad and pathetic that it comedic.

We were lucky enough to sell a commercial buidling where we officed this year and have been buying gold (real) for years. We can’t put it into savings….CDs pay nothing. Can’t send it to our stock broker (he predicts gold will bottom out)! LMAO

My worry is this: in the state of huge turmoil the government has the right under the new Patriot Act to “retrieve” private gold. Anybody here concerned about that?

  57. @WL……………On previous topic you said: “the actors in this org and they track back to Soros. Everything seems to go right back to Open Society Institute, the head of the beast….”

I’m interested in your take on this so would ask you who you think Soros works for and who controls Open Society Insitute? I thought I had all this sussed until what appears to be this big power shift. Where do the Rothschilds fit into all this do you reckon? I have/had a feeling they could be behind China in some way. Not sure of their link to Soros.

  58. I wonder if those culled Chinese GS employees will have their organs harvested?

  59. Dang sorry typo Stacy

  60. @Satcy

  61. Max : “price discovery has been seized”

OK, OK, you said it first !
    ;-)

  62. Yeah Max .. you nailed … it is NOT money !
It’s a game of monopoly using monopoly money.
At the end of the game , the winner gets the gold !
