Stacy Summary: A blog entry for Ireland. So use the comments section to talk about NAMA and/or today’s vote on the Lisbon treaty. @Danny and @david and others from Ireland, would love to hear any live updates you have on what is happening on the ground there. What are the big issues for those voting against the Lisbon treaty and the same for those voting for it.

First!
Btw, I really hope they vote no, but the bilderberg group has decided it will be yes so it will be yes.
@Mongo – second! I didn’t have a strong opinion either way just because I had not had the time to do the research and see what it is all about; that is until I saw that Blair would be its President and I am now more against it than I have been against anything.
Notice his face … obviously finding it hard to suppress that famous Grin !

@Stacy … OMG … how long do we have to endure that Mug-shot`?
Please post up a new article ASAP !
@Phil – sorry, yes, I’m looking for some new articles as the gag reflex is really getting in the way of my being able to drink my morning coffee . . . does anyone else have a physical reaction to seeing Blair’s face?
Now that figures !
…The Irish rejected it in a referendum last June, but are voting again after EU leaders reaffirmed the country would retain its military neutrality, control over tax policies and right to keep abortion outlawed….
“Military” ?
…. what military !
“keep abortion outlawed” ?
Aha .. so is that why Blair went Catholic .. to sway the Irish and his Presidency ?
@Phil – ‘military neutrality’ – looks like they knew Blair would be President and I’m sure the Irish don’t want to fight alongside British soldiers in their existing and upcoming imperial adventures
@Stacy … ” Irish don’t want to fight alongside British soldiers ”
LOL , that was funny – never thought of it that way !

@mike king – sorry but this entry is just for things related to nama, ireland, and lisbon treaty / eu; plus you already posted that item to another entry; twice makes it spam
the Times comments on this piece are worth reading, NO ONE wants this Bastard to be anything again.
@Phil in reference to your comment….. I have been reading your posts…. your topics and concerns are with the rest….
the statement in the Pertinent info…..
“Instead it is a convenient cover for the most massive transfer of power to the
Executive Branch of government that has ever occurred, or even been
contemplated. If this law or a similar one is adopted, major portions
of the Constitution of the United States will effectively have been
destroyed. ”
Is a topic and understanding missing in your writes. If you feel the info is not pertinent than you are behind the curve in the total understanding of this.
This crisis is all about agenda for exponentially increasing power and collapsing the usa as we know it to pave the way for world government….. all talk on media topics is virtually irrellevant
@Stacy……fine……dont read it…..forget it……take it off…..keep posting all the other irrellevant bullshit that get posts on this site…..I am done……. have a nice day and keep on “chatting” with all your ignorant site attendees. Take care.
@Mike .. where did you get that idea from ?
..If you feel the info is not pertinent than you are behind the curve in the total understanding of this…
Suggest you reread my post !
@Phil…..I apologize…. I thought by your comment that there was no surprise there… that you felt the info was not well deserved…..sorry…. take care I am done….. I am leaving this site much to everyones thanks i am sure.
As a final note to all….. make serious prep’s……soon.
Why do I get the feeling that as soon as the Irish voting is finished, everything will just blow up, and the shit will collapse. It may not be the case but I get the feeling that governments and banks for that matter are just waiting for the right moment to unleash those deficits and banklosses they are hiding.
@Mike .. Apos .. accepted with thanks !
@ Phil – I had no idea that abortion was outlawed in the EU! If that’s the case, and Blair just “went Catholic,” isn’t it presumed that Ireland will vote yes? I mean, Catholics are forgiving where war crimes are concerned, so they wouldn’t vote no because of that.
@everyone, howyehs from ground zero, have just cast my vote (have a guess easy one really). All I can say on the matter is that I’m quite amazed at the money thrown at celebrities, sports men, etc to endorse the treaty, it would be quite amazing if a no vote went through, on the other hand it would ensure the downfall of our present Gov. so I think its going to be a hard one to call, although I remain the eternal optimist.
Regarding our neutrality thats a myth Ireland has a ‘proud’ colonial past, India, Africa, Paddys been out there looting with the best of them.
in fact our ‘Celtic’ tradition is a myth concocted by Romantics about 150yrs ago. No we’re British trough and true. I mean Wellington was a Dub need I say anymore.
@Mongo .. point taken … BUT :
My guess is they already know the results – “yes” wins by a small margin … aka Florida Vote !
Just like the Ratings Agencies, you also have “political research agencies” that get Govt. money to “predict” political events.
As posted yesterday .. German MSM TV announced that the “polls” suggest a 55% win for “Yes” !
Let’s face it … the whole EU political apparatus was arrogant enough to decide “we are too dumb to vote on such an important (for them) issue” !
G*d knows how the Irish managed to get a right to vote on this !
Ireland will have “referendum” after referendum until the EU globalists get what they want.
Europe is doomed if this nutcase is declared Holy Roman Emperor.
Blair-Obama-EU-NATO: that’s a recipe for Global Thermonuclear War. This is just beyond insane.
@Mep .. ” and Blair just “went Catholic,” isn’t it presumed that Ireland will vote yes?”
Yes, that was my point … hence Blair suppressed “Grin” !
I’ve never seen a picture him without it until today !

BTW .. in Germany on the Internet a few days ago, it was rumoured that Schaeubler ( Interior Minister ) wants CCTV cameras installed everywhere (like the UK) and to merge police and army duties together (IIRC) !

@ Stacy
YES!
The point is that for every country that has opposition against joining EU, they will make small amendments to sufficently satisfy enough of the opposition.
They can do this because down the road they will remove the “special deals” because they will by nature be in opposition to the free trade, free movement (and so on) principles.
It is absolutely no doubt that the EU will turn into a European superstate. It is the nature of the union. To ensure free trade, there HAS to be one policy, one currency, one government etc. It is the only logical concusion. This is what should be the basis of discussions about EU – what it truly is and will become, but sadly it is not. Norway will join in 4-5 years, I’m sure.
@david Ah c’mon, david, if Brian O’Driscoll and The Edge say to vote yes, surely its the right thing to do! :L
Yeah, the whole celebrity endorsement here has been utterly scandalous. And the referendum commission ads and booklet, who are supposed to be neutral, what a joke, they a re clearly being suggestive towards a yes vote. Didn’t I see a article that something like 4 million had been handed out from Brussels for the yes side. That is illegal. But they don’t care.
I really hope that the people who don’t understand the Lisbon Constitution, i mean treaty, believe in ‘we decided as a nation once’, why are you making us vote again’. The wheels of globalisation are centralisation have come off but they are still rolling.
Fear is the law now. You can make people do anything when they are afraid. And let me tell you people are afraid here; but really angry.
Tony Blair hasn’t been mentioned in the press here but I knew about it. Half the people here think he’s a good guy because of the process in the north, they just don’t have a clue.
I’ll be voting no, again. People must take a stand. The centralisation of power has always failed.

this is all a farce – there’s no secret plan – companies are just trying to dump their products on bureaucracies because the consumer is dead, and career politicians are just vainly battling each other for positions of so-called ‘power’…think im done bothering with all this for a while. just to tedious – i’m not playing
@Stacy and Max…… As a final word post.
Most commentators in the media….. including yourselves…… have a persona of….. “Aren’t these bankers, politicians, Feds, etc etc etc making the biggest, most ridiculous mistakes…. for crying out loud they are ripping the entire world off and ruining everything and causing such a terrible global disaster”
Keep this in mind. They are brilliant and love the fact the world thinks they are incompetent.
None of which is happening is a mistake or “dumb” on their part.
The conglomerate of organizations implementing this demolition of the US dollar and fall of the United States with its “constitutional” government, is extremely intelligent, calculating, focused, diligent and above all……..in control !
Things are going exactly as planned and with so many “alternative tools” to utilize…. any problem has been and probably will be minimal in preventing them from succeeding in establishing a world currency.
All the media focus on the “results” of implemented agenda activities by the enity with an “Isn’t this stupid” conveyance is misdirecting and irrelevant to the public. It is to be considered participation is misdirection…..just like the enttiy wants it to be.
In conclusion….as a personal opinion. You both are participating in the hoopla of the results of the actions causing media “news” and not the purpose of the actions which results in public misdirection.
Kind of like the newscaster of a football game focusing his comments on the fumble by the players ineptness instead of focusing on the strategy of the opposing team to CAUSE the player to fumble.
Whatever….. Anyway
Max…. you”re a brilliant, exceptional person of integrity. The entire world has great respect for your insight, intelligence and ability to be frank and truthful to the public without being castrated for being so. It is a special talent very few people have. (Especially me … not having that is….)
You are such a breath of fresh air for everyone suffocating from the media bullshit. Take care and the world appreciates you immensely.
The vote will be yes and the czech’s will reverse there opposition to clear the way for President Blair(unelected as his foot soldier Gordon Red) who will take up his new role as head of the the New Holy(Unholy) Roman Empire. The European bankers will then finish off the financial destruction of the USA! I’m off to the pub to commiserate! I hope i am wrong!
@ Stacey. I want to spew at any picture of the evil Blair. Could we get transfers made of this picture to sell for the purpose of sticking it in toilet bowls and urinals? I’ve already got a “smug-shot ” of Cameron in my toilet – could do with a Blair smug-shot to go with it.
I had until now wondered on the real reason for Blairs convertion to catholism. He really is planning in a long game.
I forgot to mention that even the Vatican will take the unusual step of congratulating and approving the swearing in of Mr Blair to his new head of states title. I think it is pretty clear where the king of the world is going to sit!
How come only Ireland has a referendum on the treaty of Lisbon? As far as I know all other EU countries have taken that decision in the parliament/ national assembly by politicians – not the people (I don’t buy the “politicians represents the people” stuff). If the treaty of Lisbon is built upon the European Constitution acting as a replacement for it, shouldn’t that be the public’s decision to make just as they did with the European constitution?
Psssst,..(whispering) is MyKing gone?,……………Phew,,..!!
He’s starting to worry me,……I think he’s loosin’ it,..
(standin’ up straight, back to normal)
Re: Anthony Blair,…c’mon, don’t knock him,..he means well! : )
I think Blair converted to Catholicism because he has so much blood on his hands; if the lines on his forehead were any indication I think that unlike Bush, Blair seemed to have fret over his mass slaughter of civilians; a few hail marys and he seems to be sleeping better
Whenever I see this Blair I want to tear my clothes of, run around naked and scream Satanist! Satanist!

The EU is just another consequence of the elites consolidating power; while the majority of people have no idea it has been rejected twice! the system was thought up by Nazi’s to control Europe. It will get trough, it has apparently a priority why else push it so hard; can’t find the articles about how much taxmoney is being used for propaganda, yet i think it says enough that industrial giants like Ryanair and Intel support it (financially); http://euobserver.com/9/28588 do you think they have the interest of the people at heart?… This treaty will go trough whether the people like it or not.
@s.herbert
I don’t wanna sound like glen beck but yeah…I love my country ..but I hate my country too!!!…thanks for your response…sometimes these boxes and or the written word can’t always convey exactly how we are all feeling…yikes!!! so much misunderstanding…I understand your point…I also see as many problems with the basic differences between the uk and the us…and we share the same language and similar culture etc…one of the main reasons I enjoy this website is that for a clever bunch of people who are generally going in the same direction we can have such different opinions…unable to criticise! personally today I feel the same way about ireland…regardless of the fact that generally I share the same language and culture not to mention some D and A…but I trust them to eventually resolve the future direction their country is gonna take a lot more than we here in england!!!
Best Wishes and Good Luck to everyone for the Future!!!

According to Bob Prechter’s “socionomic” hypothesis, the timing is pretty good to get this thing pushed through. Cf. “European-Union waxes and wanes with the Stock Market” http://tinyurl.com/yd7vdal Would be interesting if the Lisbon treaty ends up confirming the bear market rally top.
Blair makes me sick. He is total evil.
Vote turnout averaging 10 – 20 percent in most counties!
http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/breaking/2009/1002/breaking1.htm
Having left ireland years ago I am amazed that there is not more protest against the current political establishment who are entirely behind this Treaty. They have been utterly discredited since the bailout yet they and nearly all of the media support it, The sense of ,uno voce, is bizarre, peddling more fear to a frightened public. Hopefully the Irish will have the balls to send this band of liars packing.
BTW the Lisbon treaty has been ratified in most member states but Poland and the Czech republic. Anyone wants to argue we are free/have a choice? or that we have constitutional rights instead of temporary privileges? I find it quite astonishing that even though the people have voted in a referendum(referenda) no (twice), that the politicians/supposed representatives of the people but in practise corporate puppets even dare to just ram it trough and ratify it. Even more astonishing how the people think they have a vote now or are not even a little bit outraged.
Is it true the no one has signed the accounting books for the EU commission in the last 14 years?
Ireland say No.
Blair as president, I think I’m going to barf.
@stacy
Thats always the norm. the polls are closing at 10 tonight. I’m working on a newspaper and everyones asking ME how they should vote. And I’m the graphics guy, the journalists are asking me, the youngst guy in the building!!
Everyone normally votes after work.
BTW, there will NO exit polling…that means the vote is being rigged.
Mike King:
You are correct. This whole show isn’t out of stupidity. It’s well planned, “they” are in control, “they” decide who is President of the US and Tony Blair is of course “their” President for the EU.
Max, I know you are sickened by the American People; fat, uneducated, religiously impaired. We have had the dumming down of America planned for years. This is the PLAN.
The newest part of the PLAN is the collapse of the dollar, zero interest on savings (which kills financial independence of the average American) which turn makes people put their money in the stock market only to have it stolen over and over again.
It’s the PLAN. The Fed is doing everything as planned.
I’m in the US and my eyes are wide open. People all around me are clueless and continue to think that everything will be all right next year.
Frankly, I would love to move, but where?
here’s the story on the ground or rather the campaign.
The govt 9all main parties in the parliament, including the opposition parties) are advocating a YES vote, their reasoning is that a YES vote will bring about an economic recovery , jobs, ireland is better to be at the centre of europe etc.. The fact is, the referendum is not a referendum on our status within the EU.
Intel, Microsoft got actively involved in the campaign, the govt was able to refer to them as a reason to vote yes, of course intel ‘soft are in trouble with the EU commission, Ryanair CEo Michael o’Leary got involved on the YES side, no doubt he wants to end competition for flights from Dublin airport. here’s a wonderful video of the ryanair boss http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyvVTRHYmZg&feature=player_embedded
The NO side, made up of bunch of groups who dont get elected, but the media favoured spokesman for the NO side is Declan Ganley , irish born US based businessman (with many contracts from the Pentagon if the rumours are to be believed)
here’s an interesting debate from wednesday night
http://www.tv3.ie/shows.php?request=tonightwithvincentbrowne&tv3_preview=&video=14440
Once Monday comes around, the govt will get on with its adoption of NAMA. I believe once NAMA is in place they will hold a general election and bolt out of town after having got what their friends in the EU (lisbon) and the banks/developers (NAMA) wanted.
Doesn’t Blair look similar to Adam Sutler from V.
Hmmm. The future’s so bright, I gotta where shades.
We are soooo poooched.
@MIke King. Sorry to see you go. I understand your pain. It is most frustrating to watch people polish silver and gold on a sinking ship. No matter. They will perish.
Happy trails to you. Yes, those preps are very important.
Ooops Wear not Where. Sorry. Don’t know what I was thinking!
I’ve voted yes.
Frankly i cant see what everybody is so het up about. This eu is so constrained in its powers . Even where it has a power that is importantant like the new “security” power the amount of unanimous votes and referrals to parliaments will probably ensure that it never succeeds in passind one idea of any consequence. Half the french who voted no did so because they thought it was actually going to be useless. This eu is nothing like the usa.
After saying all that I’m glad the Irish opted out of the security votes I would be suicidal if I had to watch and listen to Rupert Murdochs scum sniping and intimidating the Irish pols all the time to support his agendas.
I take everybodys point about having blair fronting the whole thing though even though he’d surely make it less affective than it could be
@Naomi
My first idea would be to move to Australia. Two problems though: their politicians refuse to face their huge debt. And another subprime meltdown is starting there. Which would mean really high rent.
Other than that, do whatever you can to stay out of debt. And as flexible as possible. I’ve lived in the U.K. and Japan. So I know that there are other places you can go and be quite happy.
Amazing. Blair will only consider being EU President if it’s guranteed? Because he’s far too rich, famous and important to waste his time with actually showing he can do the job?
Then again, it IS politics.
we were o thst s 40% of voter turnout i wasnt repreentative. Thats why we voted again on NICE 2.
10-20% turnout at least shows how people actually dont give a damn about EU directives, and unless we brainwash children into some form of EU NAtionalism as they do in the states with swearing allegance to the flag people cetainly in UK France and Ireland wil ignore them.
On the other hand though it show this unethical country up for what it is and the peoples karma ripens.
believe me, no one in the UK wants that scumbag war criminal Blair as president of Europe. Most of us want very little to do with the EU. heck, Australia, NZ, Chile et al produce better and cheaper wine!
