It depends, Danny, on the world’s accessment of the sdr as reserve currency. Looks to be a yes vote so far. The IMF/BIS system is what was behind the American hegemony all along.
As far as regulatory financial structure, the BIS is the spider in a vast web of central banks who perform functionality according to BIS rules and rate structures. The Basel accords are tightening the noose.
Gold is not inherent in the structure nor the future of the BIS/IMF hegemony, and it is unfair for journalists to spread rumours that it is or could be without point-source evidence. Why bother with the rumours except to prolong a moribund system until the new structures are operating? Because all men see now is the carrot:

But of course, I agree, the IMF needs a huge overall of its duties and functions and I also agree we should be very weary. But anything tied to gold and an elimination of a dominant power fianancially (US) is a good thing.
Question is; are the BRIC bankers nicer than the Wall Street bankers and can gold keep them honest?

You don’t need to “install” anything, just save it into a folder and then start the EXE file.
By pressing “NOW” bottom right, you can update the latest EQ data.

I imagine that from your perspective, you’ve limited offers to buy to prevent someone from spoiling the process by making bids they have no intention of honoring.
You have to be careful with changes that can make people feel betrayed, whether those feelings are valid or not. I worked for a store that killed itself by giving away a free month of discount club membership to everyone, including current members. They went from boom to bust just like that. (in a matter of days)
I also think project details should lock in after funding is completed, followed by a brief review window so that bidders can pull out without penalty if they’re unhappy with a change, such as their prospective share of proceeds. Then provided that the project remained unchanged, the next bidding period would end in immediate transfer of funds. The problem with the current method is that it lends itself to abuse which in turn will prevent people from buying as many copies as they might otherwise, from people who haven’t yet established trust through previous projects. It’s better to have a system that encourages funding for that important first project.
