Come on guys, the dollar was quite oversold, stocks were overbought. The zerohedge article on the fed bailing out the world is not bad in the short run as well.
We interrupt your normal broadcast to repeat a message for the common good. Max has gone on record to predict severe dollar volitity in the near future. Volitity means up and down, or down and up.
More broadly, volatility refers to the degree of (typically short-term) unpredictable change over time of a certain variable. It may be measured via the standard deviation of a sample, as mentioned above. However, price changes actually do not follow Gaussian distributions. Better distributions used to describe them actually have “fat tails” although their variance remains finite. Therefore, other metrics may be used to describe the degree of spread of the variable. As such, volatility reflects the degree of risk faced by someone with exposure to that variable.

Black soul and funk consciousness probably peaked about 1971… on sat… I posted clip of soul train 1974 anti dollah song-The O-Jays – For the Love of Money… ends with audience all waving fake dollahs in celebration???..irony totally lost on them…next night saw clip of X-factor UK, with crack ravaged whitney houston singing while being showered with fake dollahs and dancers waving them at her… I know this isn’t unusual in american culture I just found it unusually sad ‘n’spooky.
PS.we in the uk had very similar moment with harry enfield loadsamoney!!l

Everyone laughed at Williams when he said oil was going to below $50 (Then $147) However he said because there was a MEGA oil find ……..but it never happened!

Officers believe the boxes were being used to store criminal assets
Six suitcases packed with suspected gold dust and about £30m in cash have been found during searches of safety deposit centres in London, police say.
Detectives also found heroin and cocaine, evidence linked to child sex abuse and forged passports.
The Met Police believe criminals used the centres in Park Lane, Hampstead and Edgware to store criminal assets.
Armed police continue to guard the buildings as specialist officers search the 7,000 safety deposit boxes.
So far only a third of the boxes have been opened and the finds have also included a firearm, counterfeit currency, several works of Renaissance art and a substantial amount of high value jewellery.
I am confident that this operation will have a damaging impact on organised crime in London and around the rest of the country
Commander Allan Gibson
Speaking after the raids Commander Allan Gibson said: “Search teams have been working around the clock to open all the boxes at the location and are progressing well, although we are likely to remain at the locations for some time yet.
“This is a complex and unique investigation that will use all of the expertise within the economic crime command and the findings are within our expectations at this stage.
“I am confident that this operation will have a damaging impact on organised crime in London and around the rest of the country.”
Scotland Yard said that Met’s Specialist Crime Directorate raided seven properties in total on Monday 2 June as part of Operation Rize – three safe depositories, an office and three residential addresses.

i will need some americans and some fireworks we can fire it at the monsanto building.
BUT, it should ‘nt be completely rediculous i will need a good looking American with ENglish accent and a tuxido. (or however it bloody spells.)
if anyone wants to work on the plot, go right ahead.
anyway it appears that the US is target only.
Ireland was a good boy (getting into the euro), so they will be rewarded!
We in Europe are already in big trouble since we accepted the Nazi Union. We do not have arms like the American, so we are not really of any danger for them? Eustace Mullins says that it is really over when they collected the arms in the US. So that is why that is a real aim of the process on going!
OK, the white wash, scrubbing, disinformation campaign is starting. THis dweeb just wrote a book exposing what happened during the melt down last sept. and it includes :
A memo outlining TARP legislation written in April of 08, 5 mo. before meltdown.
A meeting between Goldman and Paulson in Russia discussing becoming a bank, also months before melt down.
And this dweeb laughs about it and says” oh the conspiracy theorists are going to have a field day with this!” But he thinks these guys are HEROS and they saved us all! http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=1301399349&play=1
@Fibon11235:
Lindsey reminds me of Ambrose Evans-Pritchard: connected somehow to the elite message, and in it for the personal gain. It is too hokey, too contrived, and too limiting. Why must we rely on the Freak Show tent to know what is to come to pass? Is not the whole species of enlightenment a way to magnify the personal agency of the elite? Oh, we all believe that this will happen. Then of course: voila! Resistance is futlie!
If he really was an honest man he would cite his source. That is journalism. He brands rumour as a divine message.
blaahh
And yet the twisted thing is that the man is always right. He has become the oracle of the supermarket tabloid set.
This guy is starting a new credit card system where they only charge half a percent for the transaction. He’s trying to cut out the gouging by the banks. He says there is no reason the cost of these transactions should go up because it’s all done by computer, should be getting cheaper.
HIs system cuts costs for transactions and the consumer gets rewards. Also, the cards have no name on them and no signature, it’s all based on PIN number http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=1301426205&play=1
How long do you think the banks will let this guy live?
Stuff gets Freak´n strange so that we should even listen to Freak-info-Show
“If he really was an honest man he would cite his source. That is journalism. He brands rumour as a divine message.”
That´s also what jones says (listen to him at the moment)…
but no answer so far!
What freaks my out is this anti-christ-thing, the US never came over their may-flower state….
I suppose that we are going to hear increasing this kind of stuff, because lots seam to turn into postmen of the elite!
But really we are all sort of in the dark (after reading, reading and reading lots of stuff). In this perspective I review Keiser as a doctor that hands you some kind of diagnosis of the current state of affairs, and all you here being his caring nurses etc.
I just expressed my huble views…I find AJ an unhelpfull fudger, less so than Max who at least is/remains credible enough to provide usefull ammo. AJ messes it up, even though he is passionate he lays it out in an unworkable. He could be organizing regular demonstrations in every state but he just wants the money..
that Hillbilly Alex Jones has some Billy Sunday on exhorting the Boston Tea Party.
The Boston Tea Party was a response generated by John Hancock & the rest of those Boston_Somali pirates to stop the East India Co from dumping an oversupply of cheap tea into the American Colonies. The Colonists were intended to pay Hancock & his ilk higher prices.
The Bill of Rights was only attached to the Constitution by the first Congress sitting in New York to prevent a second Constitutional Convention from re-visiting & re-writing the First Constitution which was constructed in TOTAL secrecy(Madison notes were entrusted to Washington as he was un-impeacheable at the time)….the notes of the Convention were not released until 1830 when the Revolutionary generation had passed on.
PS// Washington was the worst General in all of Human History…and also the largest land owner in America at the time of his death.
The Floundering Fathers make Goldy look like a community service organization. Abigail Adams was the largest owner of “depreciated” continentals….Danny Shays objection……after the Constitution she & the other dozen holders turned ‘em in for a 100% in SPECIE(Gold). So let’s talk some more about Goldy.
Be careful you”ll withall these Marjoes’ runnin’ around.
Note to ALL: there never was a Republic….the Floundering Fathers used the word ‘empire” freely(that’s why New York is called the EMPIRE STATE). The Floundering Fathers only knew the Empire of England, France Spain & Russia….remembering only Greece & Rome. The Declaration of Independence declares NATIONAL(empire) Independence; not personal independence.

New Iranian missiles for Gaza, Syria tops up Hizballah’s rocket stocks
…
1. Syria has destined some 250 surface missiles of its stockpile of 800 for Hizballah. Are they Scuds B, C and D whose ranges exceed 800 kilometers, or Iranian-Syrian made projectiles whose range is shorter?
2. Do the transfers mean Iran and its allies are gearing up for a major Middle East conflict in the months ahead, possibly in early 2010?
3. Will Syria hand over to Hizballah some of its chemicals-tipped missiles?
4. Will some batteries be installed atop the mountain ranges running down central Lebanon, together with air defense systems supplied at the same time by Syria?
…
All treaties must be ratified by 2/3 vote in Congress to supercede US common law. Did you know that? The treaty itself is a resolution, not a mandate, after the signing.
Thanks for the post on swaps. The look like unfair (postponed) trades to me.
Do you think that as the dollar permeates every bank in the world, that is what paralizes them and may ultimately even save it (or create a block against Asia)?
*sigh*
Well, anyway, Phil. I think Stacey makes a prettier nurse, though we have not been treated to your photo. And Stella being my very near image would disqualify me for the honor, as I fear frightening the patients to death.
I think Linsey Williams and AG are somehow connected with all this disinformation I dont know how but that’s what I think. I think were living in at time of such disinformation that this compounds the trust problem. The trust problem helps gold long term that is my hones opinion. Some say that there will be spikes in prices, and yes isnt that the way. My problem with all this is that it may be the end of a way of life and that puts me in a trap of thinking this time its different. In the end ill just watch and react to events. I dont think a plan of exit is that useful as I need real information to plan, So for me everything is long term.
I dislike the AG site and this preacher I think what they peddle is ugly. Aparantly snake oil was made with crude oil and opium and the more you drank the sicker you got but the opium gave you a short relief and ensured addiction. A ugly and nasty substance.
Anyone claiming to see the future or be in control is bullshit
Anyone claiming to see the future or be in control is bullshit…
Yes, and Mr. Lindsey make a double claim: a tie to the elite and a tie to god. But, he insists he’s not special, because god called him! I think god could call everybody the same!
I listened to the man a few times, but all said his message is superflous. If you are in the US and haven’t figured it out by now, you may want to get accustomed to eating hay..
Stacy, ah, well of naturally..let her bless vintage krugerands..
@Mother … ” Do you think that as the dollar permeates every bank in the world, that is what paralizes them and may ultimately even save it (or create a block against Asia)?”
A) I think rather that Asia and S.Am. is looking to block us
B) they are using the FX swap lines to try a stabilize the failing system
IMO, the use of these derivatives is basically just another extra complexity level in a system that is trying to hide reality and basic common sense , i.e. the exponential nature of a Fiat money system will finally end near infinity , i.e. money=zero, not even worth the paper or electrons that created it.
But even as oil is left as backing of USD, doesn’t it create an ocean environment (just like fake liquidity on the stock market) that can tossle individual ships (central banks) any way Bernanke wants? (I have fever so maye I don’t make sense..)
@Phil,….Re: beetles bugging conversations,.
Yeah, tell me about it!!, I’ve had the little fkers givin’ me sideway glances for yrs now, I’ve always had my suspicions !!

@MotherEarth:
Congress would have to ratify the ICC Treaty first for the tenth amendment to be ‘got over’. It is a question I have about the Copehagen treaty. Of couse, the Constitution is ‘just a god-damn piece of paper’ according to some, but it is a bit of a goer if monied interests stand in the way of the Copehagen protocols.
Perhaps, though, the whole argument has become obsolete. Obama has been spurious in his observance of US contractual law during his term.
Many Christians are Dispensational. They give more power to the devil than to God. That kinda makes them not Christians. Pastor Williams gives the elites, as evil as they are, too much credit for the corruption around us.
I vent my spleen lol for entertainment purposes only.
You wonder listening to all these commentators what the hell is going on but all you need do is ask some simple questions?
For example:
Is the economy working for the majority of the people most of the time?
My Answer i= yes we are fed right now and china has moved many out of poverty but its not perfect and alot has been ugly for many and it feels broken now as if its lost its way.
How has its lost its way?
ANS = Not sure, complex, false economics and a false money system have warped reality and this has not helped.
Are cooperation’s acting in there best interests and long term interests of the people employees shareholders owners or users.
ANS = None of the above in some cases, some of the above in other cases and all the above in a few cases. The problem here is its complex, but generally the system is kaput due to the money warping effect or phase shift were experiencing. The worse cases being where large cooperates marry in with politics and are criminal.
Has globalisation benefited anyone?
ANS= Yes its benefited some poor many millions of Chinese dispite not being paid all the dollars due they have done very well at the west expense and some rich have gained massively for the short term.
Long term its appearing to be a unstable affair and many are suffering including the environment, locally and globally. No body is benefiting now.
The poor are suffering because they have no job or go hungry and believe it or not the rich will suffer not because they lack that few extra billion but because the risk to themselves there wider environment becomes impoverished so what’s the point in being rich in a shit whole. No one is benefiting from this system now this is what’s a little frightening.
NOW for the STUPIDITY of the wider cooperate.
Does lack of sound information and peddling of make believe help authorities or undermine authorities.
Ans = It can help the appearance of control short term but lead to chaos long term. I think everyone deserves, and needs true information and protection from propaganda and exploitation for trust to flourish or we are all in the shit.
Can someone explain? Why it seems that dollar always moves the opposite direction to stock market? When Dow goes up, dollar (vs. euro) goes up and vice versa?
If they hiked flying up by 1000 USD per flight for any distance (no exceptions except flying medical personel in australia perhaps) that would be fine by me. The pool is filling up, and you (like me) are stuck to the bottom.
@kjr,..
Viewing an atom as a complex system in itself, and magnifying the interactional effects of sub-atomic particles and waves to reflect the interactions of different elements making up a complex system, such as an organization, assists us in seeing parallels between quantum physics (namely chaos theory) and organizational relationships. What must be pointed out, however, is that these “parallels” between organizations and the sub-atomic particles exist largely in terms of analogy (metaphorically) between two very different domains of activity; the interactional effects of sub-atomic particles, in quantum mechanics, are expressed in terms of math; bringing these theories into the domain of human activity can be seen as problematical. In other words,….I ain’t got a clue !!
While I think that the markets are close to a top, I believe going forward a more prudent investment than shorting the market is to stay long gold and gold mining stocks, which should continue to benefit from the Fed’s efforts to avert deflation by continuing to weaken the dollar. I recently came across a bunch of good articles at http://www.goldalert.com/gold_news.php that discuss government economic policies and investment implications and the relationship between the dollar, the gold price, and gold mining stocks. There is also a good article up today on San Gold, a miner that just discovered a new high grade gold zone and whose stock is very leveraged to the gold price. There are many serious consequences of the money printing, and I do not feel that a society can print its way to prosperity.
@ supergeek
you know i was impressed by that clip.
then i got sad when i saw that commercial behind it.
seems like commercial enterprise will hijack lunacy and nerve and guts.
its like those blackwater soldiers shooting at Iraqi’s and laughing.
we should have all those people on our side of the frontline.

Yes. But the end will see those who caused the most damage to our planet in a position of total supremacy and without any accountability. Ceding control to those ‘wise men’ is not bright.

yeah I went back after I saw the logo at the end, to check it wasn’t some kind of mock up… I kinda felt cheated, but it seemed real… I think larry recently posted a kind feel good clip of subway stairs being turned into a kind of piano, so when passengers walked on them they played music… turned out it was an ad for VW… coming soon to a town near you… some time soon revolutionary messages for artists and ordinary joe’s sponsored by supersweet prune juice…anyway bill hicks said it best!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDW_Hj2K0wo
Very Dark Pools: SEC Set to Rule on Shadow Exchanges
…Right now, dark pools are limited to trading a maximum of 5 percent of any company’s shares per day. The SEC may lower that limit to 0.25 percent.
Regardless, it’s likely there will be more regulation. Stocks exchanges like the NYSE and NASDAQ have been arguing for years that dark pools have created an uneven playing field because the exchanges are heavily regulated, while dark pools are lightly regulated, despite both providing similar services….
If I have to answer your question …. Yes, Christianity believes in the Trinitarian God. He is Omnipotent, omnipresent, … created time itself.
Evil does not have more power than God. The devil is a created creature and cannot be everywhere all the time…
AJ and Pastor Williams seem to give evil more power than God. I think AJ is doing what he thinks is right. He is waking people up. I am just pointing out a fault that might weaken his position. AJ, after all, claims to be a Christian.
That is if they survive the current trumoil, which if they buy gold as they seem to be doing, will be the case. Therefore the institution of a justice most people in the west consider such requires purging the injustice now endemic in the system. It seems Obama is making some attempts. Perhaps to keep the country together. I believe strongly though that failure to do so is mostly intentional.
“The second item that requires some attention is that the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) account at the Fed increased by $3 billion over the last four weeks. Actually the increase came in the banking weeks ending September 23 and September 30. Thus the Special Drawing Rights certificate account at the Federal Reserve rose from $2.2 billion to $5.2 billion during this period. I am going to have to do more research into this increase and what it means.”
Had the most brilliant idea today. Max Keiser-Craft a roleplaying game built on his wise theories. Basically u start at wall street and work yourselves up.
No not get angry. You gain wisdom and intelligence by conducting prosperous affairs at wall street and earn the trust of bankers worldwide in order to attack them later. Build the base of your wealth, learn the ways of the illuminati by gaining their trust, gaining wisdom and good looks. All in a very intellectual way. Max Keiser-Craft, what a brilliant role playing game.
@Supergeek, indeed. Avoiding them at all cost. Buying suits, perfume and stuff just to get to know the illuminati in order to stab their back with great firmness later.

just noticed your post… wish I had stayed in school… I could of been your stand in for holidays etc… I never believed the bonds were real for one minute… But what do I know, everybody else seem to at the time… except for the oregonian I think!!!

I’d be seriously pissed If I found my government is opening up my safe deposit box and harassing me if they find something else than paper. http://tinyurl.com/yhh3zo8 . Guess they can’t warn the owners first..
Told ya didn’t I,…the establishment have the monopoly on criminality, unless they give you the nod, ask the Krays, ain’t that right Super?
BTW: Super, do you know the Adams family, or of them?
@Mike Of Liverpool- Nope, “the giant Oil field” remins to be a bit of a myth. I was counting on Stacey to suss that one out.
@Supergeek- Just adding that O’Jays tune to the playlist now. I thought I already had every R&B song of importance.
@James… Industry? West of the Mediterranean? What planet you from?
@frances snoot- Lindsey speaks like a reformed alcoholic, one who may well be the best friened to the masses we’ll ever have. Somebody really important may be playing him like the spider to the fly.
@d3do
the safe deposit criminal thing has been going on for a couple of years … well here in london at least… that is all I’m saying… but i love tha adams family… morticia sexiest woman…bar none!!!
I wonder how many more people will volunteer when the going gets tough ?

Very Hobbes the lecture: matter exists and perception is a result of the interactions of matter. But what of feeling? I have a poetic notion of transcendence. It is as much a faith to me as a pinprick.
I cannot call the rational a friend who would to deny me spontaneous joy. It’s not so tidy the way of the flesh. I would rely more on metaphor than substance.
Substance disappoints unless we humans attach a metaphor: then to relish.
What separates one idea from another in the caldron-theatre? How so the pause between words; the articulations? What brought order to the blips?
The aloneness is pain beyond articulation without some form of solace.
really is it all about family? isn’t it more about how they can increase prices so that are more in line with the international market? then both are able to maximize their profits?
Is Alex Jones the Paris Hilton of the Nascar set???…he sure do love the hollywood side of life…the more virtuality ,the better…the more electronics,the better…so many “pastoral” aesthetics”…like Norman Rockwell.. except,.Wal-Mart style….one freakin’ t-shirt after another….more & more heavy metal…OK for the ears…bad for the blood-stream; right Alex….what the F.
the only thing i ever feel like sayin to linsey williams is, IS GET TO THE FREAKIN POINT ALREADY and if you really care for humanity, why must it be tied to the price of a dvd you money grabin preacher. hehe.
what he said was nothing new thou, its pretty much what a 4yr old can see happening right now.
…but in the US, they don’t wait anymore, they just take them out and auction them off:

@ All – Don’t miss Frontline’s program “The Warning.” It’s provides a history of Brooksley Born’s attempt to regulate OTC derivatives, and does a gret job of making Greenspan, Rubin, Summers, and Geithner look like dog poo.
The banksters are at it again……..first our interest on savings has evaporated and now gouged for prudently carrying no balance on credit cards…..I think your expiration date on currency might not be far off.
Military enlistment is a major part of the obama plan and mentality. He is a veritable stalin/fdr. As such, militarism is his modus operandi. Get ready Americans. The government is going to make you fight, fund , die for another Stalin. Just like WW2. Does nothing change?
@Mep: Brooksley Born>>>> yes just viewed the sanitized PBS story about Ms Born…although she is vindicated…and Mr Levitt voices a mea culpa…well they just don’t get it…they are criminals…and as Max loudly and publicly proclaims: financial terrorists and jihadists…and are very much controlling the reins of the mechanisms of power and global economics…is it a controlled demolition?? or did they hope that a major calamity befall the markets and after the dust settled regrouped to redirect the process to their solution…just a thought…

@supergeek . no vw link was not mine , i see what you mean about the coloured shirts ,guess they were dressed by wardrobe department, but good to hear some real music instead sampled mish mashed kind just using sampled pads , trouble when people just use samples is that it just all ends up sounding the same .too much of that kind of thing now . there seems to be a real hunger for live music again if some one else cann’t play it ,it aint real .
It’s illusion to think the market will rule out fraud. This presumes that everyone has the same hand or power in it which clearly isn’t the case and the world is more complicated than Greenspan presumes in his theory.
This is suprising for two reasons. One: He himself is the greatest manipulator of all with his interest rates. Secondly: He’s not stupid and must realize on some level his childish theory doesn’t meet with the real grown up world. It’s like beleiving that bSuperman realy exists.
@ Richard – Well, part of the dust settling process is obviously putting Goldman lackeys in charge of the Treasury and the Treasury’s historical rivals: the SEC and the CFTC so as to blunt the potential of another Brooksley Born (i.e. competent person) from rising through the ranks, blowing whistles, looking into criminal activity, or suggesting any regulatory changes that Goldman and Wall Street do not want.
@ Youri – That Ayn Rand quote about wanting to separate the state and the economy really got to me. That was also Greenspan’s goal, obviously. His worldview seems to be a mix of Friedmanism and game theory. Not only did he say that fraud should be allowed because the markets correct for it, he also said that Congress can pass no law banning “stupid mistakes.” That’s a pretty miraculous thing to say, isn’t it? Immediately after the LTCM collapse, he still was unable to see where the risks were and how fraud and lack of regulation contributed to it. All that he was capable of was reducing it to human behavior in the marketplace: a “stupid mistake” to be sorted out by the market. I wonder if he feels any guilt at all when he looks around now and sees how the market-sorting-out-fraud process is impoverishing and killing people? My guess would be that he does, but only because the world now sees him as someone who is partly responsible for it.
On his role in manipulating interest rates, I bet he didn’t see his job as being completely antithetical to his belief system, because he used that position to push for further deregulation and to keep interest rates low enough to help out his fellow market fundamentalists.
It’s like any game you can’t say in a soccer or icehocky game; “We need no referee cause they gonna sort it out themselves” It would become a freefight “game” very quickly. And so it did……
This news is as old as the hills, as undersea cable communications was a prime target for inteception since 1939 — and the fiber cable communication followed in the 1990s but more slowly.
One has to assume that all SONET-SDH etc … datastreams that carry TCP-IP traffic have about 99.99x% of the traffic intercepted.
As domestic fiber cable traffic can be sent into a foreign country for a few nanoseconds and re-intercepted as alien traffic … you must assume that 90% of voice and data traffic may suffer this fate at some time or other. Even NZ is not immune from this … but don’t think the US is free of it either as Canada’s fiber cables are up to 600% over provisioned.
However, as anyone that reads Comp.Risks or Cryptogram will tell you 99.9967% of that traffic is pure garbage, and I am being beyond hyper-charitable here. Of the traffic that is vaguely not pure trash, at least 99% if it is potential garbage due to a great deal of the potential information having “due by” or “expiration” dates of less than a year. One byte in a trillion (or possibly quintillion), at best — has any strategic value.
From the comp.risks point of view, and taking account the US social structure — the interception technology is probably used by essentially 3rd and 4th generation government nepots who care more if people are going to the toilet correctly in Topeka vs any external threats making themselves felt.
Don’t expect this technology to be used to fix the US finance crisis — that is not going to happen — but if you find yourself being waterboarded for going to the loo the wrong way … well don’t say that you have not been warned.
@ Youri – Yep. And going with the sports analogy, it’s funny when you consider how much time and emotion people the world-over put into bitching and complaining about the calls of referees at our sports entertainment events, yet when it comes to our economy and our livelihoods, we’re supposed to be cool with having either no refs, refs who collude with the players to gamble on the outcome of the games, or players who refuse to play by the rules and expect us to keep patronizing them?!
At least the other dude at the courtesy to admit he was wrong and repend that he could have make a diffirence for Brooksley Born and even Greenspan admitted that he was wrong but not Summers. He didn’t even want to talk about it to the press and now he steels material from Brooksley Born and is suddenly also for regulation.
@ Youri – I think that Summers is now for regulation in the same way that the GOP and corporate Democrats are for health care/insurance “reform.” In other words, he’s good with it as long as reform means that nothing actually gets regulated.
Yesterday, we heard an exciting motivational lecture from Kevin Traudeau, wherein he suggested a career that involves never doing anything you don’t feel sufficiently compassionate about to thoroughly enjoy. Kev. claims that ONLY through a ‘shift in thinking’ can we overcome the inertia that keeps us earning just enough to live in a squat and survive off canned baked beans and Mcdonald’s fries… -You think that sounds ruff, check out Lindsey Williams latest ‘predictions’ for our near term –TWO YEAR– survival window:
1.) Dollar complketely devalued in precisely 2 years.
2.) USA will be completely “uncregonizable”
(aka: like an N.A.Union migrant campground!)
3.) Inflation will b so slow most workers won’t know when, or
how to fight back.
4.) Gold & silver only useful currencies… (but which coins
are useful demoninations?)
5.) War will go viral after that point–Iran, Israel, then on to
engulf globe!
6.) Still time to fight back, although the resistance is not going
to come from clergy, laborers, lower management or
prior, so-called peace ‘activists.’ (my sumation)
7.) Military and government service jobs, like energy auditors,
and conscripted medical workers, afraid to rock the boat
shall prevail ’till it breaks the bank.
8.) Americans will be so poor, so hungry they will do anything
including go to war, -just to eat.
9.) Parisian Macaroons will be served at nearly every Shell
gas station worldwide.
((aka: “let them eat cake, stupid sap-suckers !”))
SOLUTIONS? –Plant a victory garden, and demand the Americans prepare by following the SWISS rule of keeping a military-grade rifle in every household. –So that the Swiss ain’t got a dmn thing over us when they come to collect the remins of our 250 years of hard labor.
France’s CMA-CGM container shipping company wants to delay the delivery of 49 ships it has ordered and is due to receive within the next three years, the company’s CEO said Monday.
“Our first objective is to obtain the delay of the delivery of those
ships” and an agreement on a payment schedule, Rodolphe Saade was
quoted as saying in an interview in the Les Echos business daily.
He
said CMA-CGM, the world’s number three container shipper which employs
17,000 worldwide, saw its revenues drop by around 30 percent in the
first half of this year as shipping volumes and tariff fell during the
global economic crisis.
“We stood up better than our competitors,”
said Saade, although the company dropped sharply into the red with a
net loss of 515 million dollars (346 million euros).
The
heavily-indebted French company, which now owes 5.6 billion dollars,
announced last month a steering committee including banks and financial
institutions that is supposed to draft a plan to return the company to
profitability next year and secure its long-term future.
Wow, nothing like an Alex Jones video to get the Jiberrin and the jabberin fire up.
Nice work y’all. Excellent research and comment.
Just Opinion…
I don’t think that guest on AJ’s show said anything that he couldn’t have heard listening to Max & Stacy or reading here, just something about time line changes. Gold/Silver will go up and Americans will be poorer.
Alex was trying to get him to spit out the good bits before we all just turned off the show
USD will go up again, when the stock market goes down(whether manufactured for profits or not). Its just the way it is. Later things may change when the whole lot falls over, then G&S will increase in value as the currency crisis’ unfold.

It’s really hard to convey just how much panic there was in the Bundesbank in March of 2008 at the Bear Stearns collapse; but they seemed mostly alarmed by gold movement and by Bernanke cutting interest rates on a Sunday . . . but the sense was that something bigger was happening than the media was telling
I wonder how many of the 39,000 now in NY homeless shelters have the belief that “oh, I’m just down on my luck right now, but I still believe in the american dream and someday I’ll be CEO of JP Morgan or win the lottery”.

Chalcie:
But you said that there must be movement to have time. And the dead are no longer material. At least in theory. So how can the dead experience time? Do you believe there is one time for the living and another for the dead?
Dracula passage:
“Denn die Todten reiten Schnell.”
(“For the dead travel fast.”)
That’s Göttfried August Bürger, “Lenora” (also “Lenore”) (1773), a poem which carries desire to the grave. Here’s the full poem, translated by Rossetti. Note, too, the military background, which appears in Stoker.
Up rose Lenora as the red morn wore,
From weary visions starting:
“Art faithless, William, or, William, art dead?
‘Tis long since thy departing.”
For he, with Frederick’s men of might,
In fair Prague waged the uncertain fight;
Nor once had he writ in the hurry of war,
And sad was the true heart that sickened afar.
The Empress and the King,
With ceaseless quarrel tired,
At length relaxed the stubborn hate
Which rivalry inspired:
And the martial throng, with laugh and song,
Spoke of their homes as they rode along,
And clank, clank, clank! came every rank,
With trumpet-sound that rose and sank.
And here and there and everywhere,
Along the swarming ways,
Went old man and boy, with the music of joy,
On the gallant bands to gaze;
And the young child shouted to spy the vaward,
And trembling and blushing the bride pressed forward:
But ah! for the sweet lips of Lenora
The kiss and the greeting are vanished and o’er.
From man to man all wildly she ran
With a swift and searching eye;
But she felt alone in the mighty mass,
As it crushed and crowded by:
On hurried the troop, — a gladsome group, –
And proudly the tall plumes wave and droop:
She tore her hair and she turned her round,
And madly she dashed her against the ground.
Her mother clasped her tenderly
With soothing words and mild:
“My child, may God look down on thee, –
God comfort thee, my child.”
“Oh! mother, mother! gone is gone!
I reck no more how the world runs on:
What pity to me does God impart?
Woe, woe, woe! for my heavy heart!”
“Help, Heaven, help and favour her!
Child, utter an Ave Maria!
Wise and great are the doings of God;
He loves and pities thee.”
“Out, mother, out, on the empty lie!
Doth he heed my despair, — doth he list to my cry?
What boots it now to hope or to pray?
The night is come, — there is no more day.”
“Help, Heaven, help! who knows the Father
Knows surely that he loves his child:
The bread and the wine from the hand divine
Shall make thy tempered grief less wild.”
“Oh! mother, dear mother! the wine and the bread
Will not soften the anguish that bows down my head;
For bread and for wine it will yet be as late
That his cold corpse creeps from the grim grave’s gate.”
“What if the traitor’s false faith failed,
By sweet temptation tried, –
What if in distant Hungary
He clasp another bride? –
Despise the fickle fool, my girl,
Who hath ta’en the pebble and spurned the pearl:
While soul and body shall hold together
In his perjured heart shall be stormy weather.”
“Oh! mother, mother! gone is gone,
And lost will still be lost!
Death, death is the goal of my weary soul,
Crushed and broken and crost.
Spark of my life! down, down to the tomb:
Die away in the night, die away in the gloom!
What pity to me does God impart?
Woe, woe, woe! for my heavy heart!”
“Help, Heaven, help, and heed her not,
For her sorrows are strong within;
She knows not the words that her tongue repeats, –
Oh! count them not for sin!
Cease, cease, my child, thy wretchedness,
And think on thy promised happiness;
So shall thy mind’s calm ecstasy
Be a hope and a home and a bridegroom to thee.”
“My mother, what is happiness?
My mother, what is Hell?
With William is my happiness –
Without him is my Hell!
Spark of my life! down, down to the tomb:
Die away in the night, die away in the gloom!
Earth and Heaven, and Heaven and earth,
Reft of William are nothing worth.”
Thus grief racked and tore the breast of Lenora,
And busy was her brain;
Thus rose her cry to the Power on high,
To question and arraign:
Wringing her hands and beating her breast, –
Tossing and rocking without any rest; –
Till from her light veil the moon shone thro’,
And the stars leapt out of the darkling blue.
But hark to the clatter and the pat pat patter!
Of a horse’s heavy hoof!
How the steel clanks and rings as the rider springs!
How the echo shouts aloof!
While slightly and lightly the gentle bell
Tingles and jingles softly and well;
And low and clear through the door plank thin
Comes the voice without to the ear within:
“Holla! holla! unlock the gate;
Art waking, my bride, or sleeping?
Is thy heart still free and still faithful to me?
Art laughing, my bride, or weeping?”
“Oh! wearily, William, I’ve waited for you, –
Woefully watching the long day thro’, –
With a great sorrow sorrowing
For the cruelty of your tarrying.”
“Till the dead midnight we saddled not, –
I have journeyed far and fast –
And hither I come to carry thee back
Ere the darkness shall be past.”
“Ah! rest thee within till the night’s more calm;
Smooth shall thy couch be, and soft, and warm:
Hark to the winds, how they whistle and rush
Thro’ the twisted twine of the hawthorn-bush.”
“Thro’ the hawthorn-bush let whistle and rush, –
Let whistle, child, let whistle!
Mark the flash fierce and high of my steed’s bright eye,
And his proud crest’s eager bristle.
Up, up and away! I must not stay:
Mount swiftly behind me! up, up and away!
An hundred miles must be ridden and sped
Ere we may lie down on the bridal-bed.”
“What! ride an hundred miles tonight,
By thy mad fancies driven!
Dost hear the bell with its sullen swell,
As it rumbles out eleven?”
“Look forth! look forth! the moon shines bright:
We and the dead gallop fast thro’ the night.
‘Tis for a wager I bear thee away
To the nuptial couch ere the break of day.”
“Ah, where is the chamber, William dear,
And William, where is the bed?”
“Far, far from here: still, narrow, and cool;
Plank and bottom and lid.”
“Hast room for me?” — “For me and thee;
Up, up to the saddle right speedily!
The wedding-guests are gathered and met,
And the door of the chamber is open set.”
She busked her well, and into the selle
She sprang with nimble haste, –
And gently smiling, with a sweet beguiling,
Her white hands clasped his waist: –
And hurry, hurry! ring, ring, ring!
To and fro they sway and swing;
Snorting and snuffing they skim the ground,
And the sparks spurt up, and the stones run round.
Here to the right and there to the left
Flew fields of corn and clover,
And the bridges flashed by to the dazzled eye,
As rattling they thundered over.
“What ails my love? the moon shines bright:
Bravely the dead men ride through the night.
Is my love afraid of the quiet dead?”
“Ah! no; — let them sleep in their dusty bed!”
On the breeze cool and soft what tune floats aloft,
While the crows wheel overhead? –
Ding dong! ding dong! ’tis the sound, ’tis the song, –
“Room, room for the passing dead!”
Slowly the funeral-train drew near,
Bearing the coffin, bearing the bier;
And the chime of their chaunt was hissing and harsh,
Like the note of the bull-frog within the marsh.
“You bury your corpse at the dark midnight,
With hymns and bells and wailing; –
But I bring home my youthful wife
To a bride-feast’s rich regaling.
Come, choister, come with thy choral throng,
And solemnly sing me a marriage-song;
Come, friar, come, — let the blessing be spoken,
That the bride and the bridegroom’s sweet rest be unbroken.”
Died the dirge and vanished the bier: –
Obedient to his call,
Hard hard behind, with a rush like the wind,
Came the long steps’ pattering fall:
And ever further! ring, ring, ring!
To and fro they sway and swing;
Snorting and snuffing they skim the ground,
And the sparks spurt up, and the stones run round.
How flew to the right, how flew to the left,
Trees, mountains in the race!
How to the left, and the right and the left,
Flew the town and market-place!
“What ails my love? the moon shines bright:
Bravely the dead men ride thro’ the night.
Is my love afraid of the quiet dead?”
“Ah, let them alone in their dusty bed!”
See, see, see! by the gallows tree,
As they dance on the wheel’s broad hoop,
Up and down, in the gleam of the moon
Half lost, an airy group: –
“Ho! ho! mad mob, come hither amain,
And join in the wake of my rushing train; –
Come, dance me a dance, ye dancers thin,
Ere the planks of the marriage-bed close us in.”
And hush, hush, hush! the dreamy rout
Came close with a ghastly bustle,
Like the whirlwind in the hazel-bush,
When it makes the dry leaves rustle:
And faster, faster! ring, ring, ring!
To and fro they sway and swing;
Snorting and snuffing they skim the ground,
And the sparks spurt up, and the stones run round.
How flew the moon high overhead,
In the wild race madly driven!
In and out, how the stars danced about,
And reeled o’er the flashing heaven!
“What ails my love? the moon shines bright:
Bravely the dead men ride thro’ the night.
Is my love afraid of the quiet dead?”
“Alas! let them sleep in their narrow bed.”
“Horse, horse! meseems ’tis the cock’s shrill note,
And the sand is well nigh spent;
Horse, horse, away! ’tis the break of day, –
‘Tis the morning air’s sweet scent.
Finished, finished is our ride:
Room, room for the bridegroom and the bride!
At last, at last, we have reached the spot,
For the speed of the dead man has slackened not!”
And swiftly up to an iron gate
With reins relaxed they went;
At the rider’s touch the bolts flew back
And the bars were broken and bent;
The doors were burst with a deafening knell,
And over the white graves they dashed pell mell:
The tombs around looked grassy and grim,
As they glimmered and glanced in the moonlight dim.
But see! but see! in an eyelid’s beat,
Towhoo! a ghastly wonder!
The horseman’s jerkin, piece by piece,
Dropped off like brittle tinder!
Fleshless and hairless, a naked skull,
The sight of his weird head was horrible;
The lifelike mask was there no more,
And a scythe and a sandglass the skeleton bore.
Loud snorted the horse as he plunged and reared,
And the sparks were scattered round: –
What man shall say if he vanished away,
Or sank in the gaping ground?
Groans from the earth and shrieks in the air!
Howling and wailing everywhere!
Half dead, half living, the soul of Lenora
Fought as it never had fought before.
The churchyard troop, — a ghostly group, –
Close round the dying girl;
Out and in they hurry and spin
Through the dance’s weary whirl:
“Patience, patience, when the heart is breaking;
With thy God there is no question-making:
Of thy body thou art quit and free:
Heaven keep thy soul eternally!”
Translated by Dante Gabriel Rossetti
Thought you’d like that! You’re cool, Chalcie! Very steady and patient!
I am having trouble understanding whether the falling dollar is good or bad for wall street banks. I inferred from Max’s on the edge that the banks make money when something like CIT blows up from the credit default swaps. But is the falling dollar in Wall Street’s interest or not?

The dollar is rallying? Dow above 10k? Recession over? This must be the October surprise.
BTW are there any actual “industry” companies in the Dow Jones Industrial Average?
Come on guys, the dollar was quite oversold, stocks were overbought. The zerohedge article on the fed bailing out the world is not bad in the short run as well.
This rally is only normal I guess.

Gold ‘find’ in safe deposit raids

@Fibon11235:

It is inevitable that some people will go ‘dark’. Long live long wave radio..
@MotherEarth:
There seems to be some disinfo circulating via Alex Jones website regarding the Copenhagen Treaty:
http://www.infowars.com/our-republic-may-end-with-the-stroke-of-a-pen/
All treaties must be ratified by 2/3 vote in Congress to supercede US common law. Did you know that? The treaty itself is a resolution, not a mandate, after the signing.
@Phil

Anyone claiming to see the future or be in control is bullshit…
Yes, and Mr. Lindsey make a double claim: a tie to the elite and a tie to god. But, he insists he’s not special, because god called him! I think god could call everybody the same!
If not for the grace of God; there goeth god.

IMO, the use of these derivatives is basically just another extra complexity level in a system that is trying to hide reality and basic common sense , i.e. the exponential nature of a Fiat money system will finally end near infinity , i.e. money=zero, not even worth the paper or electrons that created it.
fibon is AG, AJ (alex jones?)
@ Sidney yes I meant AJ not AG or AIG for that matter lol
@phil
But even as oil is left as backing of USD, doesn’t it create an ocean environment (just like fake liquidity on the stock market) that can tossle individual ships (central banks) any way Bernanke wants? (I have fever so maye I don’t make sense..)

@MotherEarth:

Wall Street on edge as SEC top cop gets aggressive
http://www.reuters.com/article/ousiv/idUSTRE59I5BN20091019
Curious about this scenario:
Fed treasury bill purchases end > Long term interest rates spike > short term rates follow > Dollar rallies / Carry trade ends > Gold price drops.
In other words the gold price cues off the interest rate suppression by the Fed.
Can someone explain? Why it seems that dollar always moves the opposite direction to stock market? When Dow goes up, dollar (vs. euro) goes up and vice versa?
I mean of course that when Dow goes up, dollar goes [i]down[/]..
@Snoot
If they hiked flying up by 1000 USD per flight for any distance (no exceptions except flying medical personel in australia perhaps) that would be fine by me. The pool is filling up, and you (like me) are stuck to the bottom.
@kjr,..
@dedo
Bravo. You should have your own blog..

Why Did U.S. SDR Holdings Increase Five Fold In The Last Week Of August?
http://www.zerohedge.com/article/why-did-us-sdr-holdings-increase-five-fold-last-week-august

Max Keiser-Craft, what a brilliant role playing game.

Greenspan: “THe Market will take care of Fraud”
It’s illusion to think the market will rule out fraud. This presumes that everyone has the same hand or power in it which clearly isn’t the case and the world is more complicated than Greenspan presumes in his theory.
This is suprising for two reasons. One: He himself is the greatest manipulator of all with his interest rates. Secondly: He’s not stupid and must realize on some level his childish theory doesn’t meet with the real grown up world. It’s like beleiving that bSuperman realy exists.
Wow! The drafter of the 9/11, official government report, now reveals it as a cover-up in a new book!
It just came out, here’s an early review from a newspaper in Oregon:
http://www.salem-news.com/articles/september112009/911_truth_9-11-09.php
Looks like the author, John J. Farmer Jr., was New Jersey Attorney General for quite a while, and even Governor of New Jersey, although very briefly.
@Mep

@ Teresa – Ditto.
@Teresa Yep, agree about the SOB Summers….
Put his head in his anus and role him of a cliff http://images.volkskrant.com/volkskra/www/opinie/media/2009/01/forum090221_620.jpg

For he, with Frederick’s men of might,
In fair Prague waged the uncertain fight;
Nor once had he writ in the hurry of war,
And sad was the true heart that sickened afar.
The Empress and the King,
With ceaseless quarrel tired,
At length relaxed the stubborn hate
Which rivalry inspired:
And the martial throng, with laugh and song,
Spoke of their homes as they rode along,
And clank, clank, clank! came every rank,
With trumpet-sound that rose and sank.
And here and there and everywhere,
Along the swarming ways,
Went old man and boy, with the music of joy,
On the gallant bands to gaze;
And the young child shouted to spy the vaward,
And trembling and blushing the bride pressed forward:
But ah! for the sweet lips of Lenora
The kiss and the greeting are vanished and o’er.
From man to man all wildly she ran
With a swift and searching eye;
Wise and great are the doings of God;
Will not soften the anguish that bows down my head;
For bread and for wine it will yet be as late
That his cold corpse creeps from the grim grave’s gate.”
“What if the traitor’s false faith failed,
By sweet temptation tried, –
What if in distant Hungary
He clasp another bride? –
Despise the fickle fool, my girl,
Who hath ta’en the pebble and spurned the pearl:
While soul and body shall hold together
In his perjured heart shall be stormy weather.”
“Oh! mother, mother! gone is gone,
And lost will still be lost!
Death, death is the goal of my weary soul,
Crushed and broken and crost.
Spark of my life! down, down to the tomb:
Die away in the night, die away in the gloom!
What pity to me does God impart?
Woe, woe, woe! for my heavy heart!”
“Help, Heaven, help, and heed her not,
For her sorrows are strong within;
She knows not the words that her tongue repeats, –
Oh! count them not for sin!
Cease, cease, my child, thy wretchedness,
And think on thy promised happiness;
So shall thy mind’s calm ecstasy
Be a hope and a home and a bridegroom to thee.”
“My mother, what is happiness?
My mother, what is Hell?
With William is my happiness –
Without him is my Hell!
Spark of my life! down, down to the tomb:
Die away in the night, die away in the gloom!
Earth and Heaven, and Heaven and earth,
Reft of William are nothing worth.”
Thus grief racked and tore the breast of Lenora,
And busy was her brain;
Tingles and jingles softly and well;
And low and clear through the door plank thin
Comes the voice without to the ear within:
“Holla! holla! unlock the gate;
Art waking, my bride, or sleeping?
Is thy heart still free and still faithful to me?
Art laughing, my bride, or weeping?”
“Oh! wearily, William, I’ve waited for you, –
Woefully watching the long day thro’, –
With a great sorrow sorrowing
For the cruelty of your tarrying.”
“Till the dead midnight we saddled not, –
I have journeyed far and fast –
And hither I come to carry thee back
Ere the darkness shall be past.”
“Ah! rest thee within till the night’s more calm;
“Far, far from here: still, narrow, and cool;
Plank and bottom and lid.”
“Hast room for me?” — “For me and thee;
Up, up to the saddle right speedily!
The wedding-guests are gathered and met,
And the door of the chamber is open set.”
She busked her well, and into the selle
She sprang with nimble haste, –
And gently smiling, with a sweet beguiling,
Her white hands clasped his waist: –
And hurry, hurry! ring, ring, ring!
To and fro they sway and swing;
Slowly the funeral-train drew near,
Bearing the coffin, bearing the bier;
And the chime of their chaunt was hissing and harsh,
Like the note of the bull-frog within the marsh.
“You bury your corpse at the dark midnight,
With hymns and bells and wailing; –
But I bring home my youthful wife
To a bride-feast’s rich regaling.
Come, choister, come with thy choral throng,
And solemnly sing me a marriage-song;
To and fro they sway and swing;
Snorting and snuffing they skim the ground,
And the sparks spurt up, and the stones run round.
How flew to the right, how flew to the left,
Trees, mountains in the race!
How to the left, and the right and the left,
Flew the town and market-place!
“What ails my love? the moon shines bright:
Bravely the dead men ride thro’ the night.
Is my love afraid of the quiet dead?”
“Ah, let them alone in their dusty bed!”
See, see, see! by the gallows tree,
As they dance on the wheel’s broad hoop,
Up and down, in the gleam of the moon
Half lost, an airy group: –
“Ho! ho! mad mob, come hither amain,
And join in the wake of my rushing train; –
Come, dance me a dance, ye dancers thin,
Ere the planks of the marriage-bed close us in.”
And hush, hush, hush! the dreamy rout
Came close with a ghastly bustle,
Like the whirlwind in the hazel-bush,
When it makes the dry leaves rustle:
And faster, faster! ring, ring, ring!
To and fro they sway and swing;
“Horse, horse! meseems ’tis the cock’s shrill note,
And the sand is well nigh spent;
With reins relaxed they went;
At the rider’s touch the bolts flew back
And the bars were broken and bent;
The doors were burst with a deafening knell,
And over the white graves they dashed pell mell:
The tombs around looked grassy and grim,
As they glimmered and glanced in the moonlight dim.
But see! but see! in an eyelid’s beat,
Towhoo! a ghastly wonder!
The horseman’s jerkin, piece by piece,
Dropped off like brittle tinder!
Fleshless and hairless, a naked skull,
The sight of his weird head was horrible;
Close round the dying girl;
Out and in they hurry and spin
Through the dance’s weary whirl:
“Patience, patience, when the heart is breaking;
With thy God there is no question-making:
Of thy body thou art quit and free:
Heaven keep thy soul eternally!”
Translated by Dante Gabriel Rossetti
Thought you’d like that! You’re cool, Chalcie! Very steady and patient!
