Its pretty clear that the LHC is being run by Goldman Sachs. First they used it to create a black hole of derivatives, and now they are using the Higgs boson to go backward in time to perform “negative latency” trades of up to -100 milliseconds.

not that i’m a physics nerd, but:

if you look at how cosmological theory has progressed, it looks to me like they’ve got something wrong at a fairly fundamental level. and lately they’ve been avoiding dealing with it by introducing more and more fantastic workarounds, they way defending a little lie can lead to the need to invent a huge, complex story. (not suggesting anything sinister or conspiratorial just human nature)

the time traveler and/or sabotaged by god excuse is precious.

nevertheless, the LHC rap (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j50ZssEojtM) was a thing of beauty.

I was invited to help BoyScouts fold flags at a local center: the flags were to be put in small bags and sent to our ‘freedom fighters’. So I think most Americans are still sitting in their wheelchairs. When the collapse is good and juicy the knife starts to twist. Then YOWZA!

I did not attend the BoyScout function. I wanted to tell the participants eventually the boys stuffing the flags would be stuffed into body bags and return the favor.

Sound very logical and oh so scientific.

It is based on mathematics, but you could explain it by saying that God rather hates Higgs particles and attempts to avoid them.
