    @ Bonn – What’s ridiculous is Hillary Clinton proclaiming that the runoff will be “unaffected” by Abdullah’s withdrawal. In what world does it make sense to her that people would vote for a candidate who withdrew on the claim that the election would still be rigged? The pathetic thing is that the entire runoff is a sham, the whole world knows it, yet the international community is spending another couple hundred million dollars on another sham election, anyway.

    I’m curious why Kristeva claims the chora can be regulated seeing as she declares it defies axiomatic definition. Perhaps she is referring to the semiotic eruption of play called music. The chora here is a word derived from Plato, but does not refer to his nebulous female treastice. Here Kristeva touches the essence of the feminine: the voice of Ophelia, that which penetrates reason and then flees the chamber. Here is Faulkner’s easy description:

    Note that derivatives posses no remarkable identity from participating bonds used a century ago during the railway booms. In the long depression that followed the crash of 1875, you saw interest rates climb(briefly) to 200%.

    Participating bonds eventually became pyramided and networked on their own, leading to a depression. Though the depression was marked by stable wages and declining prices.

    In finance, you are now seeing the appearance of “Contracts For Difference”, which are derivatives being traded on the open market through internet brokerages such as Interactive Brokers(IB) or Man Financial.(MF)

    They were recently approved for trade in Canadian markets, but are not legal in the U.S. The monopoly of derivatives is held by a risk cartel in that country, but nowhere else.

    I would not assume that telecoms are entirely against net neutrality, since most of their traffic is not based on content, but on the flow of gigabits. What purpose would it serve telecoms to dictate content when they cannot restrict phone conversation topics?

    The internet is two stage whether you like it or not. The fibre optic cable that was laid until the Nasdaq bust in 2000, and wireless nodes. Fairly soon, hand held or laptop devices will hold the equivalent of an entire server’s worth of info, so forget about controlling content.

    Even in the energy markets, you will see monopoly distribution syndicates, which will fight tooth and nail against wireless energy distribution, and smaller energy producers with something like the following:

    I read and hear that the estimated sum of derivatives is 5-600 Billion USD. Do anyone cash out? With this amount of money a person or a company cashing in on one of these schemes must presumably become very rich, Milliard or something. Bill gates 50 Milliards seem like a small fortune in the world of Billions. Or is derivatives a game where nobody cashes out on a winning forward, option, swap…?

    RE: Net neutrality
    The internet is being concentrated around a few huge companies and they do not want to lose the net neutrality and risk having to pay for internet traffic to their sites when they get it for free now, especially now as they are gaining control over the whole internet traffic. It would have made more sense a few year back when they had to fight for the internet traffic to their sites, today 30 large companies/hyper giants generate and consume a disproportionate 30% of all internet traffic.
