Craig Murray: ‘Raped with broken bottles’ for Enron [UPDATED]

November 5th, 2009 by stacyherbert

Stacy Summary:  The MSM is apparently outraged by the verdict in Italy case.  Here is more news on CIA torture.

Murray asserts that the primary motivation for US and British military involvement in central Asia has to do with large natural gas deposits in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. As evidence, he points to the plans to build a natural gas pipeline through Afghanistan that would allow Western oil companies to avoid Russia and Iran when transporting natural gas out of the region.

Murray alleged that in the late 1990s the Uzbek ambassador to the US met with then-Texas Governor George W. Bush to discuss a pipeline for the region, and out of that meeting came agreements that would see Texas-based Enron gain the rights to Uzbekistan’s natural gas deposits, while oil company Unocal worked on developing the Trans-Afghanistan pipeline.

“The consultant who was organizing this for Unocal was a certain Mr. Karzai, who is now president of Afghanistan,” Murray noted.

  • @Stacy … thanks for headlining it !

That was former British Ambassador speaking !
i.e. not a nutter as in MSM’s description.

  • I don’t get it,..the people with the broken bottles,..were they the people who got raped, or the ones raping?

  • i predicted this would be a problem for Murdoch

Mr Murdoch, who in May vowed to start charging for access to at least one of its online news sites within 12 months, also cautioned that those plans may be delayed. “I wouldn’t promise that we are going to meet that date,” he said.

  • Cheney might want to be on the lookout for anonymous vans…

  • here’s an excerpt from the article:

“The Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline is slated to be completed in 2014, with $7.6 billion in funding from the Asian Development Bank”

well I guess that means we ( NATO and US ) will be there at least until that date or as long as the yet exploded sections caused by the Taliban/al-qaida need repair…or infinitum….

  • The days in Eco-inperism is ending, they tried their hands at the old fashioned stuff, but got their ass kicked.

They be out of Afgan soon, but Pakistan?

    Mike

  • This article makes you question the power and who they act for and what comes to mind is, ha ha ha The power of the desperately insane!

    To some power is control
To some power is a fist
but I argue that, power with no ethics is no power at all.

In this article we have the power exercised by a sick racial mind of a sexual pervert, rather than a calculating rational mind of a adult.

Its short term and immediate rather than long term and planned. So the results of these actions I guess will be short in coming. The problem is that we have to suffer the consequences.

    Example:
Does my morale depend on my morals
Or the morale of the nation I live in?

The answer removes the power of those who claim to act for you!
They become isolated encircled and hunted themselves, a consequence.

In other word, every action has a equal and opposite reaction or what goes around comes around.

Distancing or removing ones self from the action is no distance or removal at all, if its your action that set the wheels in motion.

  • Have I died without knowing it and woken up in hell?

  • @Crumpet Muncher – sure did! Howdy!

  • So, I’d like to know what the take is of Mr. Paris on Daily Kos the author of the pipeline article has to say about the revelations of the UK ambassador to Uzbekistan.

Often, people tend to look at these machinations from only one angle and over a short time from the “market’s point of view” which Mr. Paris is one.

Yes, Karzai is now the president of Afhganistan, his brother works for the CIA. The election was contested, the other candidate dropped out (after he was made an offer he couln’t refuse)

Karzai met with the then Gov. GW Bush putting together a deal for the pipeline. Bush was making a nice deal for Enron.

Next we have the stealing of the 2000 election, Bush is put into the office, he’s ginning up for war before his sorry shoes hit the floor in the Whitehouse.

Next, we have a false flag operation called 911. Which helped demonize Islam and muslims. We have torture programs that turn normal human beings into pure hatred…….now they have the scenario the PNAC has been planning. World dominance by the US. (“the Muslims are coming for us”)

Pipleline: expensive, what is Goldsachs doing? How much you need for a pipeline…..to keep the Golden Goose alive for the sake of the ruling elite?

Real question is, it will take three countries to agree on the pipeline and not sabatoge it. How they are going to do that, I don’t know. Just sayin.

We, the United States, through the CIA signed off on boiling people alive and being raped with broken bottles, children being tortured……….do we believe in Karma? Fortuna,? Divine retribution?

I’m afraid the Western world is going to reap a whirlwind.

  • Blowback, another word for karma.

    Someone called the area “Pipelineistan”.

I always thought it was about oil, nat. gas, and opium.

  • So Jerome a Paris thinks that its just too much bother to go and get that worlds 4th largest gas reserve. When have American and British oil and gas companies ever taken a pass on any large reserves anywhere? The methodology by which such things are accomplished was described well in John Perkins book, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.

  • Jerome Paris is a fool.

    @Fibon

Your comment about trying to remove oneself from the action set in motion by a Government that has acted in your name, is really terrifying.

Rather like the Iraqi people being blown up, tortured, maimed, poisioned by depleted uranium all because they are unlucky enough to have government doing business with the US and the deal turns sour.

When are the American people going to feel the terror of missles, helicopter fighters hovering over their homes? The hammer will come down.

Our government will be hiding in Paraguay. That’s why the Bush Crime Family’s compound is so huge…….also the land is sitting over one of the last largest natural water acqufiers in the world. Coincidence?

  • Jerome a Paris conveniently fails to mention that our bases in Afghanistan ended up right on the proposed pipeline route. (See 55:00 – 1:01 in video here. )

He completely leaves all of the geopolitics out of his analysis–including our previous funding/support of the Taliban, whom we had hoped would become more like “our” Saudi Arabian oil friends once the Taliban gained control of Kabul in 1996:

    http://www.beyondleftright.com/topics/terrorism/1587

And he says nothing at all about 9/11–supposedly the reason we went to war. Seems to me that we have every reason to suspect that 9/11 was an intelligence operation. What was the goal of 9/11? I think the answer lies in what has happened since and who has benefited.

  • To Murray’s theory about the use of torture, I would add that we likely severely tortured those with links to 9/11 (e.g., KSM) so that their brains would be so scrambled that nobody would ever be able to get accurate info. out of them re: who was giving them orders, where the funding was coming from, etc. Murrray says we were torturing people for false confessions so that al Qaeda appeared to be a mammoth group, and we could justify our war of terror. Terror/torture has historically been used to subdue populations; when they don’t slink away and decide to fight back, this also works to the benefit of the REAL terrorists, because it provokes more chaos and destabilization… hence justifying increased military and private militia presence.

The #1 reason that I fear a police state is because the truth about all of this is going to come to the surface faster than some people wish.

  • Your right Mep.

  • meant to say you’re.

By the way the Carlin piece on youtube regarding saving the planet is just sooooooo funny. Thanks to who ever posted it.

Laughter keeps you from going nuts.

  • That’s why the internet is so feared by these people.

Yes, “they” put out disinformation, make 911 truth movement a joke, but eventually, people start thinking. Once they start thinking they are able through the internet to communicate. Uh oh……….

Think about the power of communication in regard to the Banking fraud, Goldman Sachs, wallstreet….etc., HUGE TURN AROUND IN HOW PEOPLE ARE UNDERSTANDING WHAT’S IS REALLY GOING ON.

Dangerous. Must be stopped. Can’t assassinate them all, makes them into cult personalities…..just dry up the communication line.

There you go. Now, scare the hell out of them. Remove all rights…….submit them to curfews, yada yada….

You’re right Mep. Once the lid is totally off, it’s over.

  • I’ve got to side with Dailykos on this one (words I’d never thought I’d ever write).

‘The Israel Lobby’ by Mearsheimer and Walt makes a compelling case that invading Iraq was actually against the interests of Big Oil.

Afghanistan is about interfering with the Shanghai Co-op’s oil supply, isolating Iran, and the other black tar; black tar heroin. Afghanistan’s location is just far too strategically valuable to remain non-aligned the way it was under the Taliban.

The proposed route for the pipeline would logically follow the easiest terrain, and probably runs parallel to roads. Which would explain why the bases are on the route.

  • This is just an appetizer. There will be more noxious courses to be served yet. All of them will be ignored by the Casino Gulag media, but kudos to TRN for trying. It might be enough to force the Mockingbird gatekeepers to mention it once, with dispassion, before being tossed down the memory hole. My apologies if I’m just stating the obvious.

  • The guy has a point that the pipeline wasn’t the main reason; there were many reasons for staging 9/11 and invading afghanistan and iraq; a lot of profits to be made, the pipeline is just icing on the cake. the main reason was the philosophy/history of neo conservatives; yet how much says the word neo con if a fake liberal like obama does exactly the same. But these debunkers should be busy investigating all criminal activity of the government not attack those who are willing to stick their neck out (like that ambassador) and pretend as if war is justified. (killing over a million iraqi’s; but i guess debunking WMD’s/al CIAda in iraq isn’t as much fun as “debunking” a pipeline) As if i would waste my time on someone that has no idea how geo politics work, and ask him my questions.

  • We incinerated millions of people in WW2- innocent civilians. Eisenhower starved a froze 2million german POW’s. The american GI committed more rape than any other army- thats per the US army’s records. We dropped atomic bombs on innocent civilians. Yet we are surprised that some Uzbekis are torturing Uzbekis under Us command? Really? Read some history folks.
