Who put the mirrors on the moon? Anyone on Earth in any country can shine a laser at the moon and it will bounce back perfectly (2 sec. later) because of “Retro-reflector” mirrors put there by NASA. If NASA didn’t go, who put them there?
Also, where did we get 4.5 billion year old rocks from? You can’t find any solid rocks this old on Earth. Anyone in the US and probably anyone in the world can examine these rocks, and radio-date them. You can’t fake that.

That leads to even more money printing by Bernanke and further watering down of the currency.
I hadn’t heard about Steve Keen until he appeared on On The Edge program and I was fascinated by the info he gave, trying to keep an eye for articles he writes, though I have not yet dared to read his books (as none of them has been translated – language is not my friend.)

My understanding is that the higher GDP figures in USA and elsewhere are from government stimulus spending such as cash for clunkers and the first home vendors grants.
But goods and services have been traded in greater numbers due to credit growth. If credit growth takes a downtown (ie deflation deleveraging) the we will see lower GDP.
Western economies are 70 percent consumer spending which has been fueled by debt increasing houseprices producing wealth effect causing spending.

If Bernanke or any other central bank prints money, does that money appear as a positive GDP growth? As long as the stock exchange raises all looks well, but what I see is fresh printed money being speculated instead of being used to build factories and employ workers, create products and so on. To me that makes the entire stock exchange rise hollow/false, but yet everything is ok in the US, EU is out of the recession so what am I missing from the news?
