  3. Gee, didn’t saw this coming… Bankers wouldn’t risk their reputations, Al gore cares about the environment, the economy is recovering, obama cares about peace, goldman sachs adds liquidity just like RBS shares it’s liquidity now O and a majority of Irish people wanted the new treaty of Lisbon, and the bilderberg is just a discussion group that the president of the EU is a member. there’s nothing to see here, please move along. (end sarcasm) The regulations/margin rates are still in favour of speculators, that all the bad assets are dumped on the public owned bank or that all taxpayer money disappeared in to the bad bets/insurance, wars, imf, blablabla and so on was baked in the cake from the start. The people accept about anything, if they don’t revolt/protest/vote in the right people what can possibly change? The bets/bail outs are “worthless” until the money is laundered, “luckily” the banks had a lot of practise with drug money.

“Wall St. Finds Profits Again, Now by Reducing Mortgages” http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/22/business/22loans.html?_r=3&ref=business

“…Investment funds are buying billions of dollars’ worth of home loans, discounted from the loans’ original value. Then, in what might seem an act of charity, the funds are helping homeowners by reducing the size of the loans.
But as part of these deals, the mortgages are being refinanced through lenders that work with government agencies like the Federal Housing Administration. This enables the funds to pocket sizable profits by reselling new, government-insured loans to other federal agencies, which then bundle the mortgages into securities for sale to investors…”

In light of the SIGTARP report, I withdraw my earlier apology to

If you wonder what Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein meant when he said:
“[Goldman Sachs] participated in things that were clearly wrong and we

  31. @ES – hadn’t thought of it; but trust me, you don’t need to go to university to know what you already know; they pretend you need a $500,000 degree to ‘understand’ finance and economics; that is a bigger hoax than anything I have heard

  39. (can i sneak in a jibber jabber thing?) Have anyone taken a look at the new internet auction concept?
“Entertainment shopping” – Sites like Swoopo, Winnit and Bid Rivals are examples of sites using the new concept.
And what a concept it is, wow, financially they must earn huge amount of money out of it. just like eBay you bid on products you want but there is a special rule on these places, you can only increase the bet on a product with $0.01 USD, in this way the price will stay low for a looong long time, nothing wrong with that but there is a catch to it, each bid you make costs $0.60 USD. And so the scheme begins…

  45. Naomi Klein And Joseph Stiglitz Discuss The Cause And Effect Of The Financial Crisis
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/21/2009 22:16 -0500

Alan Greenspan’s economic legacy is slowly but surely deteriorating from that of one created by a “Maestro”, to the deranged hungover flashbacks of the most inept monetarst dilettante and plutocrat puppet in the history of fiat capitalism. And with ever increasing honest and truthful observations as those shared by Naomi Klein and Joseph Stiglitz in the 1 hour + program attached, courtesy of Fora TV, only the remnants of the quickly evaporating close circle of Bernanke and Co., will have anything favorable left to say for the man who took the mundane task of building bubbles and converted it into rocket science so complex that only a few people at Goldman Sachs figured out how to benefit from it. We encourage all readers to spend some time watching the program before, just like Barney Frank and other bribed politicans, deciding that changing the status quo vis-a-vis the Fed is a step in the “wrong direction.”

  48. @ Max and Stacy A entertaining topic for suggested discussion.

What do you think of the analysis of this Mr FOFOA…. would make for entertaining discussion…as im sure your tired of repeating this most interesting of obsessions.

Im of the opinion that much of what he says has a logic about it some appears spot on but some is way out there. It does not mean he is wrong just radical.

Example the describes the chances of Gold going to say $5000 per 0.1% and he isn’t talking inflation dollars or that it wont get there this is the probability that it goes no higher. The most probable outcome with a 68% probability is $40,000 -$60,000 per ounce

Makes $2000 per ounce sound like a bit of a joke. I dont know who the hell this guy is and have never commented on his blog etc etc in other words im not in his pay lol

Reform is necessary and timely.””

US is undergoing the FSAP (financial stability assessment plan) result released the year 2010.

Here’s a hint of IMF control:
“With public debt set to rise substantially over coming years, Directors underscored the need for an ambitious medium-term fiscal consolidation to secure fiscal sustainability, as recognized in the FY2010 budget. As the crisis has exacerbated existing fiscal imbalances, consolidation will likely require significant additional adjustment. Given the low level of discretionary spending, the adjustment would most likely need to focus on the revenue side. Noting the considerable uncertainties surrounding the economic outlook, Directors supported the authorities’ intention to re-evaluate the options for achieving fiscal sustainability if deficits do not decline as expected.
Directors underscored that addressing soaring entitlement costs remains the critical medium-term fiscal challenge. They welcomed the Administration’s focus on health care reform, emphasizing that the ultimate package should include substantial measures to reduce health care costs over the longer term, while aiming at budget neutrality in the short term. Directors underscored that the impact of cost control measures will need to be carefully monitored, and that additional measures should be taken promptly as needed. Directors also welcomed the Administration’s intention to work towards developing a political consensus for social security reform.”

Then in the summers, I spent the time running a house painting business. Better question: Will the vaccin protect you or even make it worse?
You got to understand that these persons didn’t die from the virus itself but by their own immune system attacking the virus. That’s why even healty people die from it. The stronger your immune system the more likely to die to a certain degree. That makes this virus so scary. You even can get infected twice after this virus mutates so if you had the mexican flu you can catch it later again in the mutated form.

Until now the H1N1 (which is a general name) has been very mild and many people had it and recovered from it. Most people who dies from it had other complications.

However now the virus has mutated (D225G) and has been found in fatal cases in Brazil, Ukraine, and Norway. Question is if you had the vaccin will it protect you from this mutated version or will it even make it worse? The same question for if you already had the mild mexican (=swine) flu? Cause your immiune system will be triggered even harder if you catch it again so maybe your changes of survivul are higher without the vaccin and just take the Tamiflu immediately after getting the mutated version of the mexican flu. I am still bussy getting an answer on this question.

As we have documented elsewhere on Deep Capture, Gary Weiss is a corrupt pseudo-journalist whose sources have included naked short sellers with ties to the Mob. Among Gary’s favorite sources were John Fiero (fined $1 million in Hanover Sterling scandal), Anthony Elgindy (currently serving an 11 year prison sentence for short selling crimes and alleged to have had his finger sawed off by Russian mafiosi who were concerned that he would become a government informer), and Manuel Asensio (who once worked for a Mafia-controlled brokerage called First Hanover).

Weiss has reported extensively on the Mafia’s infiltration of Wall Street, but he has, for years, insisted that only conspiracy theorists believe naked short selling is problem. He wrote a great deal about Hanover Sterling, but not once did he mention that naked short selling was central to that case. In his book, “The Mob on Wall Street,” Weiss told the story of a Genovese Mafia broker, and mentioned that this Mafia broker claimed to clear his trades through none other than…Penson Financial.

But, of course, Gary insisted that the Mafia broker must have been lying, because Penson is a “legitimate firm.”

  146. @Gordo

As someone said about the SEC – as time goes on it is likely that the regulator will soon agree more with the ones its regulating

  147. The American bankers will just ignore the IMF/BIS dictates.

The thing is what is the answer to prevent regulatory capture – because obviously more regulation is just more revolving door jobs for banksters to pollute…. The problem is there has been an attack on Christianity which used to provide the moral basis for society. And no moral basis has been put in its place.

This is really a case of boiling frogs where the changes came gradually and unnoticed until now we are faced with a seemingly insurmountable crisis.

Society is so fractured that there is no cohesiveness, no common wealth. It began in the US with racism which alienated a sector of society. In the attempt to heal that rift, the wound actually got bigger. Racism became classism.

World Exclusive: E. Howard Hunt Details JFK-Plot on Video

    October 22, 2008

In exclusive, never-before-seen footage, former CIA operative E. Howard Hunt discusses his knowledge of and participation in the plot to kill Kennedy in a video testimony he gave shortly before his death. Alex Jones’ upcoming film will fully analyze the CIA-shadow government coup that occurred inside the United States 45 years ago.

Rolling Stone and a few other publications have covered Hunt’s audio confession (released in April 2007), but no one has yet seen the information the infamous White House ‘plumber’ left behind to shed light on the figures involved in the plot. Here, Howard Hunt discusses LBJ, who saw Kennedy as an ‘obstacle’ to the presidency. According to Hunt, LBJ consorted with top CIA officials Cord Meyer and William K. Harvey to carry out the plot.

And within commercialism those are ever present. It is the basis of American Pop Culture. Christianity provides a fear motive for those who do not have a strong morality. The fear of going to hell. Nobody believes in Hell anymore. Too bad.

@frances – FDR could never have passed the New Deal if Whites had thought that Blacks would be equal beneficiaries. It was OK for poor whites to benefit, but it was considered an insult for money earned by White Folks to be spent on Black Folks. Tell the people in East Oakland that racism is “officially” abolished. They can have a jubilee.

  190. @frances – No need to be so offended. I can accept that some of the excesses of the Youth Movement of the 60s led to some of the problems we experience today. Is it not possible that the feminist movement is not perfect? Could it not be possible that the feminist movement made mistakes in the past which have had negative repercussions. If you ask today’s young girls, they would defend her freedom to express herself. Just as you would have defended your right to wear short skirts or go bra-less. Times change. Maybe the burka is the answer.

  212. Man just Downloaded the Hacked Climate Change mails God Bless ethical hackers
Going through it . Its too funny, They assumming we all are some dumb shmucks

Here some Motivational Exerpts on how to go about selling it from a pdf file RODFL

“1. Challenging habits of climate change communication
Don’t rely on concern about children’s future or human
    survival instincts
Recent surveys show that people without children may care more
about climate change than those with children. “Fight or flight” human
survival instincts have a time limit measured in minutes – they are of
little use for a change in climate measured in years.
    Don’t create fear without agency
Fear can create apathy if individuals have no ‘agency’ to act upon
the threat. Use fear with great caution.
Don’t attack or criticise home or family
It is unproductive to attack that which people hold dear.
    2. Forget the climate change detractors
Those who deny climate change science are irritating, but
unimportant. The argument is not about if we should deal with climate
change, but how we should deal with climate change.
    3. There is no ‘rational man’
The evidence discredits the ‘rational man’ theory – we rarely weigh
objectively the value of different decisions and then take the clear
    self-interested choice.
    4. Information can’t work alone
Providing information is not wrong; relying on information alone to
change attitudes is wrong. Remember also that messages about
saving money are important, but not that important.

Once Once we’ve eliminated the myths, there is room for some new
ideas. These principles relate to some of the key ideas emerging
from behaviour change modelling for sustainable development:
    5. Climate change must be ‘front of mind’ before
    persuasion works
Currently, telling the public to take notice of climate change is
as successful as selling tampons to men. People don’t realise
(or remember) that climate change relates to them.
    6. Use both peripheral and central processing
Attracting direct attention to an issue can change attitudes, but
peripheral messages can be just as effective: a tabloid snapshot
of Gwyneth Paltrow at a bus stop can help change attitudes to
    public transport.
    7. Link climate change mitigation to positive
    desires/aspirations
Traditional marketing associates products with the aspirations of
their target audience. Linking climate change mitigation to home
improvement, self-improvement, green spaces or national pride are
    all worth investigating.
    8. Use transmitters and social learning
People learn through social interaction, and some people are
better teachers and trendsetters than others. Targeting these
people will ensure that messages seem more trustworthy and are
    transmitted more effectively.
    9. Beware the impacts of cognitive dissonance
Confronting someone with the difference between their attitude and
their actions on climate change will make them more likely to change their attitude than their actions.”

  222. Gold 778 Euros ( 25,000+ /Kg.)
    + 1167$

Last time we hit 25,000 Euros a year+ ago,Gold moved down sharply.
OTOH, the Reverse Head&Shoulder pattern suggest 1340$ at some time in the next 2 months.

I noticed the US$ was down sharply versus the Euro, but Gold hadn’t climbed so much as to reflect that.
( the other way around, Gold normally climbs )
My “guess” : we may see a decline this week, but afterwards ? … !!

  225. EU History to be Distorted by Schools

    Issue 480 • Monday, November 23, 2009

…. “The salesman thanks the customer for patronizing his shop and asks him to come again. But the socialists say: Be grateful to Hitler, render thanks to Stalin; be nice and submissive, then the great man will be kind to you later too.” ….

The latest initiative by our “Children’s Secretary”, Ed Balls (pictured left), is to abolish what remains of fact-based teaching of history and geography in our schools. He plans to “roll them together into themed lessons on social issues such as global warming” (funny how that seems to seep into everything nowadays)…. In his desire to chuck history onto what Lenin called “the scrapheap of history”, Mr. Balls may have to make an exception, however. A campaign is now being mounted in the European Parliament to make it compulsory for children to be taught the history of the EU. According to Mário David, the Portuguese MEP leading the campaign and a former chief of staff to the Commission President Jose-Manuel Barroso, it is vital to counter all the “lying, cheating and mistrust” that surrounds the EU in the minds of the peoples of Europe. Our children must therefore be indoctrinated accordingly. … From laying claim to Churchill as father of the EU to consistently obscuring the nature of the key role played by Jean Monnet, they have come up with an official version of the origins of their “project” which bears virtually no relation to the facts. Doubtless this is just the sort of history which Mr. Balls will be happy to allow in our schools – because “fact-based” it isn’t. – UK Telegraph

    frances an other Poe-spin

    Eustace Mullins,
    November 1, 1984
Second Foreword of his book The World Order
PREFACE to the SECOND EDITION of “WORLD ORDER” by
    EUSTACE MULLINS
My search for the names and addresses of the secret rulers of the world became a
mediaeval quest to find the Holy Grail which would fling open the doors of
freedom for the oppressed and betrayed peoples of the world, particularly those in
my own country. These World Order minions fear exposure more than they fear
armed force or a legal system which would punish them for their crimes against
    humanity.
I discovered that the hidden manipulators of the World Order had
maintained their power by a very simple technique, which I have likened to a
masked ball. The masque enables the Gnostics, the Knowing Ones, to identify their
freinds and enemies because they alone know who is wearing what costume. It is a
masquerade which depends entirely upon disguise, that is, on things which are not
what seem. H.T. Martineau wrote in 1833, in “Three Ages”, 1.1 “A troop of
gentlemen, whose country could not be divined from their complexions, since each
wore a mask.” Persons whose country cannot be divined from their complexions -
bandits wore a mask to prevent their victims from identifying them.
The bandits of the World Order have succedded in robbing the whole world
through the technique of the bal masque, the disguise which enables them to carry
on their Satanic work without being identified and prosecuted. The bal masque is
the ideal vehicle for this program, because the World Order gained its present
power in Europe of the nineteenth century. It was a truism among the old
European aristocracy that “Balls are given for those who are not invited”. The
guest attend because of duty or career, to spend an evening in the company of
boring persons when they would much rather be elsewhere. the reward of being a
guest at a bal masque is to be one of the Knowing Ones, those who know which
masque hid the face of the King, which costume is that of the Grand Vizier. The
other guests never knew whether they were talking to a mere coutier, or to a
powerful personage. The masses, with their faces pressed against the windows of
ythe ballroom, know none of the celebrants, and will never know. This is the
technique of the World Order, to be masked in mystery, with its hierarchy
protected by their anonymity and their masks, so that those who revolt will strike
out against the wrong targets, insignificant officials who are expendable.
The World Order record is one of horror, as the ghosts of the massacred
billions cry out for retribution. Its true nature is described by that master of the
macabre, Edgar Allan Poe, in “The Masque of the Red Death”. “While the
pestilence raged most furiously abroad, the Prince Prospero entertained his
thousand friends at a masked ball of the most unusual magnificence… And now
was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the
night. And one by one dropped the revelers in the blood-bedewed halls of their
revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And Darkness and Decay
and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all.” What Poe depicts is what is
actually happening to the present world under the ministrations and conspiracies of
the World Order – increasing pollution, disease and famine ending in worldwide
desolation and the disappearance of our species. What is the alternative ? We can
survive by ripping the mask off the face of the Red Death, and by sending him
back to that hell from which he came. God made the earth for living, and we are
overdue in our attack on the Brotherhood of Death. We must not be inveigled into
more contrived “wars” for the profit of the World Order, nor can we afford to
continue to be misled by their control over the media, the education process, and
    our governmental institutions.

Thanks for that, Chalcie! You are a much better morgue companion than I would be.

  232. Has anyone has been to Palm Beach, Florida? Have you also been to the Flagler Museum? It has rooms painted colors and named just like in the Poe story. When one stands at the end of the hall and looks throughout the rooms, one sees the colors in sequence.

The Poe story relies on positioning to tell another story, quite like the Gaga video.

  233. @WarburgSidney:
    Amazing link!!!

  234. @Y’all
Damn… went through all this before too much!!!… re: the links to racist SCUMBAGS… I don’t see why stacy can’t put a block on these kind of well known racists!!!

Well now your getting to a BIG discussion that really doesn’t belong on this forum. Let’s just say what Van Til coined: Culture is religion extrenalized.
