@Chalcie:
The choice is never or but sometimes or maybe.
Yes, I agree wholehearted with your ‘personal responsibility’ take. Hopefully we get to decide just what that means by our own selves as well.
Thanks for introducing me to a new thought today! Epistemological Self-Consciousness! Is that like, I had an epiphany, or what? Like the V8 commercial?
oops wrong thread
“@mep
just going through the older comments… “off their rockers” doesn’t even come close!!!”
It seems to me that some who pretend an open mind are really stuck to the wall with superglue.
If you know what I mean.
@Chalcie:
What is needed is … Epistemological Self-Consciousness.
Epistemological knowledge is a standard supported by the church, no?
It’s interesting that the term derives support in solids when the world is proven to be made up of shifting atoms.
The self-consciousness borne of this “knowing” is not inherent to human but taught through constructs, no?
Or is there some metaphysical abra-ca-dabra quality to human that I’m not familiar with?
Not how, that.
What?
That. Believe that?
How?
That’s not my problem.
What?
How. You believe this this and that. Don’t worry about how.
When?
Well, now.
Why?
NOT WHY! That! It’s a mystery! Just believe it and you’ll be happy.
O.
@snoot

@snoot
I think it means self responsibility.
