Great show.
Appreciated you mentioning the US War Machine !
@Max
VERY informative show, Thankx a million!
Re: CNBC talking about war stocks being “the best stimulus” — omfg! Those people are beyond sociopathic. The families of all troops should see that video and tell those scumbags where they can go.
Yes! Kick CNBC in the balls for me, too! They’re also “discussing” invading Pakistan… argh.

@ Tofu Charlie – I’m all for eradicating that kind of mentality from the face of the earth by an means necessary. Any ideas on how to accomplish that?
hmmm. gold is getting killed. why are people so hysterical?
@Harry … Gold etc.
My guess is that the ETFs are in control = WS !
Moving control frok Comex , LME and other “paper crap” to WS-Central makes it easier for HFT to be applied.
It wouldn’t surprise me if it was also part of their (PTB) revenge for taking Bernanke apart yesterday !
I am little worried about freedom of speach here i can get a lot louder “I aint get no money I aint got no car to take u on a date”

@Mep — sorry no new ideas… only to continue to grow the free press online and through independent distribution channels, try to make the right connections, and approach this task from a variety of angles to appeal to the various fragmented and ideological groups currently bickering amongst themselves… show them their common enemy, remind them of their common interests, etc… IMO, a lot of this stuff is “preaching to the choir”, and we need to draw new people in by making the counter-MSM message more accessible, more entertaining, more viral — hopefully without watering it down — and of course assume that MSM continues to alienate its viewers with half-truths and blatant propaganda.
Your thoughts?
“Et tu brutae” Assassin was a word invented by….
But u guys no nothing about India
RODFL like to do that
@Harry – hmmm. gold is getting killed.
Gold isn’t getting killed. Under-margined futures speculators are getting killed. The strong hands spent the day sweeping lots of chips off the table, adding to their positions and getting ready for next week.

Interesting that stock is up also and ony gold has dropped.
@Max
An excellent show > hyperinflation depression has never happened with a global reserve > new ballgame
Is that a really big gold coin or you really small?
Great show!
I still think we are seeing downward manipulation combined with an exodus of people that thought they where speculating in GOLD futures. They will move to other markets using dollars in the mean time..

Any of ya’ll that need a concise 60min video that explains it all to friends or family that don’t understand what’s going on, this may help. Albert Bartlett gives a no nonsense presentation about how economic growth won’t help, “drill baby drill” won’t help, carbon credits wont help and just about how anything else you can think of won’t help. He uses very straight forward non hysterical approach that anyone whose had 7th grade level math can understand.
@Marietta:

But he want a tag like:
<meta name command = "I am big boss and I want to tell you how to index my pages"
And Google accept this game???
Why? Because Google success is not search alghoritm, it is "US Full spectrum dominance"
Google success is because help of big and powerfull people. They are in trouble today and it is time for payback
Google will disappear with the dollar!
Does it make sense what mike (from L) said some time ago: low interest rates might kill a currency (money is cheap?)…
So that is what might happen in the US and England?
Those two single currencies that should disappear because of this global government nwo
@Youri
How long are we saying it now? Deflationary depression followed by hyperinflationary depression. Kudos bro!
Did Japan use treasuries as a swap for the IMF bonds?
@ Tofu – I cannot share my thoughts. If I did, Max & Stacy would probably get requests for my IP address.
be very interesting to see if this was a shake-out in gold or the beginning of an intermediate downturn and correction that lasts a month. There was alot of damage done to charts today, this is not like the Thanksgiving day Massacre. We could easily move from here towards 1100 due to severe selling impulses and panicky holders. Personally I would love it at 850 after a huge washout and demoralization but I doubt it goes near there. But this will happen now thru all of next year, it will be the tone, massive volatility in the Market, those unable or unwilling to go short what they hold in their core will just drift sideways in my estimation. This will not be an easy bull market and many carcasses will be left by the side of the road.
change that, I meant 1000, not 1100, I seriously doubt this selling is over, much more fear and dissappointment is necessary for gold then to turn and move higher and way,way too much hysteria at highs 2 days ago.
@ Mep — aw c’mon.. don’t be such a tease… just hide your most inflammatory statements behind euphemism…
@Tofu Charlie – Your comments on how to fight back against the madness was very well put. I’m looking forward to a Kucinich presidential campaign in 2012. We have to plan ahead. They (the badguys) plan out far ahead, and we need to do the same to be effective. It’s not enough just to react to their wickedness.
People like Max and Stacy play an effective role in this, as you do with your blog. (And I try to do with my blog as well.)
We have to go beyond the limits of liberalism to be effective. This is what attracts me to Max for example. He does not limit himself to engaging in polite political conversation like so many liberals do. (A good example of this is Eliot Spitzer’s appearance today on Democracy Now.)
We need to continue to make uncompromising demands, like the firing of Geithner and Bernanke and the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan immediately. Not in 18 months, which is just pie in the sky.
Right now we need to mobilize to stop carbon trading aka cap and trade, which will be the next bubble if we don’t stop it.
BTW, MoveOn.org is a CIA operation to co-opt the progressive movement if you ask me.

I do not think that the CNBC-type thinkers are capable of unlearning their distorted views; they are deserving of the kind of treatment the natives were given.
@ Frank — yeah, Kucinich is great… but the problem is that there are good people on the left AND right who basically desire the same thing (aside from quibbling over privatization etc) but are played off against each other over fringe issues…

… The interpretation of these myths is that the Christian faith is coming to an end and humanity needs to undergo a catastrophic transition to achieve a heavenly state.
Modern science has also predicted a potentially catastrophic asteroid collision in 2012. Asteriod 433 Eros is the first discovered Near-Earth Asteroid (NEA) and one of the few NEAs with a maximum diameter greater than 10 km. This asteroid is believed to have created the Chicxulub Crater in the Yucatán, postulated to cause the extinction of the dinosaurs. The next date that Eros is predicted to pass Earth is on January 31, 2012, another suspect of the 2012 apocalypse….

@Marietta:
Well, if the Japanese are trading treasury paper for IMF bonds, then I guess it is a matter of diversification out of dollars seeing as the Japanese are fraught with a lot of them in their reserves. I’m wondering what the stint is with their voting rights and all with such a large donation…but since the Treasury=IMF this is all semantics in the end.
US is not dead. US=IMF for the last eighty years. IMF is strengthened day by day.
Why isn’t anyone being honest about this? Because the real story is that the hegemony isn’t ending at all. The real story is that the sdr is not a new ‘currency’ but a vacuum cleaner set on suck.
We will be issued carbon exchange debit for our debts. There isn’t going to be a jubilee for you and me.
The jubilee is going on over at the IMF board.

Cheap money creates higher housing costs which means higher rents, longer mortgage terms, more strain on youth which in turn yields fewer young adults with post graduate education.
The money of the very wealthy is as a percentage, is almost entirely in play while they pay almost no income tax. Therefor inflation doesn’t affect them the same way inflation affects the poor. For the poor almost all of their money, including their income, is directly affected by inflation and they pay income tax . Therefor inflation is predominantly a tax against the poor. It literally means that the rich who hire the poor, are rolling back the wages of the poor in any inflationary period during which the poor don’t get a commensurate raise.
Unfortunately many middle class people fail to realize that an economy is a financial ecosystem. They hop onto the gouge your fellow person bandwagon. They speculate and squat on real estate, harming their local economy. They make education more expensive. They form and support corrupt counter-force unions that just end up poisoning the economy further. We don’t need a portion of employees in society getting higher wages in positions held by inefficient and corrupt seniority (the squat and gouge mentality applied to a job).
We need free competitive access on an equal footing for everyone. We need risks and rewards to be fairly priced by discovery and accountability, that can only be achieved in the local economy model. But you’ve got poor people kept down to the chagrin of the middle class who mistakenly see themselves as becoming part of the upper class.
The very means used by the middle class help to keep the upper class above them and prevent the middle class from becoming as wealthy as they could be.
@ Phil /Germany
Kind of like a dead cat bounce in the economy

What we need to do is break up every monopolist that operates in the US in almost every sector of the economy.

No willing sellers obviously, but I would have thought BullionVault would have created liquidity from spot purchases or reserves offered back onto their market. But it seems not. So do those of us that use BuiilionVault have a rather serious liquidity risk when things change in a hurry (both on the upside and downside)? Anyone know more about this?”
Might be worth looking into this?

Why is it so inherent, that folk lean on others for their destiny,..hummmf,..always bothered me,..anyone care to explain?
Not everyone can be so arbitrarily bound to an impassionate stance on everything, Dedo. Some people have bags to carry about. Some people wait for hope to manifest their destiny in a sorry bid for advancement. Some people are just plain boring. They never knew what it was like to be pricked by passion. And then, of course, there are the vast majority of the world’s population, of which we will join the happy throng, which are ever bound to the slavery of basic need.
@Phil—2012 Jibber Jabber
must have been a dead cat bounce
@Frances,…..hmm, passion,..now there’s a concept!
personally, I think it’s quite a good tool for motivation, nothing more, nothing less,.what says you?
whoops,.I nearly forgot, you’ve already confined your stance in that arena,…: )
Gordo, Yes absolutely, we need to break up every monopoly. Unions are an attempt to monopolize labor. Monopolies and Oligopolies on capital, credit, goods, and labor, all need to be broken up.
If you think I was merely bashing unions you misunderstood me. I’m bashing the middle class for their largely ignored complicity in the corruption and inefficiencies in western economies that create a lower quality of life for everyone. Max keeps talking about savers and speculators and the elites without mentioning how the middle class are involved, so I brought it up.
@Denial,…..why do you keep using words that are used against you,..
folk are born, and develop at their own rate of learning,..do you want everyone to be “uni” form,.or is it best to just let bee,..bzzzz lol (ignore me I’m being silly)
Passion is the slave of obsession and seduction, Dedo. As such it wields little force except for that of self-destruction.
Yet, I believe passion is the only true indicator of human. Without passion, we have no art, no love, no murder, no great works of literature. Passion creates the symbols which evoke meaning: like gold for instance.
We are always busy about our own demise! Leave the dispassionate to sweep up after we are gone.
But, Dedo. I don’t believe anyone is truly dispassionate. It is a desire, an obsession, to be cold as well as to be hot.
@Frances,…yeah,.I like how you stir your medicine,..not how I stir mine though,..: )
Anyways, these guys operate on a full spectrum. The reason that the laws aren’t being enforced is because “Law cannot be separated from the social, political, economic, and cultural characteristics of a country.” pg47 Canadian and International Law textbook by Oxford University Press.
Our entire way of life is toxic. Too few are admitting that and working to route it out by building something better. You can’t have people watching toxic tv, driving past toxic billboards, working at toxic jobs for toxic companies, shopping at toxic stores, spending toxic money and investing toxic money right back into that very system, and then set things right with good laws. When the rest is so unjust, the written law has little power.
And that’s why owning gold alone will not protect you.
Anyways,.I’m off to my ncluear flal out seheletr for smoe rset,..nghit ,nite : )

Those two single currencies that should disappear because of this global government nwo
@WarburgSydney:
The way it works is that the Eurozone won’t at present allow the annihilation of the pound and dollar as it increases the currency ‘value’ of the euro in trade and that inhibits their export market function. Also, the sdr is a basket of currencies now including the pound and the dollar. What looks set to happen is an orderly implosion of all currency.

Eros orbit does not cross the earths – its orbit lies beyond the earths, It was part of a larger object in the past given that its density is high for a asteroid which may explain the speculation that its sisters crashed into earth
Its geology seems to suggest large amounts of rare heavy metals such as gold/silver and the energy needed to reach and return from its surface is less then a lunar trip.
If mined it could put us gold bugs in a spot of bother
It was visited by the NEAR spacecraft recently.
@The Dork Of Cork
Are you saying that it’ll get too close in 2012 then ?
@Phil:
Are we getting clubbed by an asteroid soon?
@frances
I’m at a time in my life where i dont’ have a lot of time for pleasure reading. Miss it.
I would have thought one of your passions was posting to this site.
@Marietta:
Yes. The Zhou essay is best read in sections. He talks about why not the dollar which can be skipped. He then talks about a replacement. That’s the middle beefy section. Here’s a handy paragraph:
“Compared with separate management of reserves by individual countries, the
centralized management of part of the global reserve by a trustworthy international institution with a reasonable return to encourage participation will be more effective in deterring speculation and stabilizing financial markets. The participating countries can also save some reserve for domestic development and economic growth. With its universal membership, its unique mandate of maintaining monetary and financial stability, and as an international “supervisor” on the macroeconomic policies of its member countries, the IMF, equipped with its expertise, is endowed with a natural advantage to act as the manager of its member countries’ reserves.”
Zhou of course works for the IMF. How handy!
The disenfranchised will just grow and grow.
The subaltern is how Spivak referred to the newly disenfranchised in a colonial empire. The subaltern has no voice was one of Spivak’s themes. It is true.
Look at America. The tea-baggers were representative of an entire class and yet the likely replacement of voice by the view was an indication of marginalization of the many. That is the role played by Limbaugh and Beck. To castrate the voice of the many.
I would have thought one of your passions was posting to this site.
Yes, under literature.
As a peasant of the NWO, I have no plan to kill any GS employee. However when they are tried and found guilty financial treason, as their sentence, they will be dropped of in Bagdad, naked, with broom and dustpan, so that they sweep all irradiated uranium gun shells that were deposited by the US military industrial complex. No I believe it is in a very stable orbit that does not cross the earths path – the earth catchs up with eros once every 800+ days
given that the earths orbit is closer then eros and therefore faster
It will be especially close to eros because its orbit is not circular and some passes are closer then others
It should be easily visible in binoculars in 2012 appearing like a star that moves with respect to backround stars over a period of days and weeks.
I will get on that as soon as i finish work and make dinner. Promise!
@Mr. Dork:

@Dork
It sfair to say i owe you a beamish from the fine taps of the oval after those comments. Impressive.
max’s props and wacky faces with the light bulb make this the funniest episode yet, only two minutes into it
@francessnoot
Well it will not be a very bright object – even though it is the closest large asteroid to orbit near earth
if it were to crash into earth the impact would be many times greater the the supposed impact that killed the dinosaurs
But do not worry about Eros – It is in a complex orbital reasonce with both the earth and mars indeed it crosses the path of mars.
This will change its orbit over time but we are talking a long time of possibily many millions of years
I believe it gets as close as 10% of the distance from the earth to the sun – but Space is a big place so do not worry about Eros
@DorkfromCork:
Thanks!
Please to keep us informed of what we SHOULD be worried about!
There is that myth about the horned god and the planet. That one is interesting.
@Danny
Its a pity they do not roll the kegs over from the brewery anymore.
@francessnoot
there are other asteroids…………….
I believe I read a Stephan Baxter Sci Fi book where he describes a near future where there is a confrontation between a wounded but still powerful USA and a resurgent but still weak China
America still has nuclear superiority so china launches one women on a “scientific” mission to a near earth asteroid.
tension escalates and china is nuked but it finishes with a rock landing on the continental USA
Fitting given the first weapons we used were lumps of rock
I can not remember the title however

Let’s set up a bank of Eros.
We’ll use the “Deep Reserves” of Eros to bank the financing on our venture.
Futures will be sold on the open market as Futures of Eros.
If you buy in, you’ll get a lottery ticket good for some Eros gold.
Honest…
We’ll keep it safely aboard a bank on the International Space Station….

It will only cost parhaps $400Billion over 8 years
Hey thats $50 Billion a year – I am sure that Goldman and JP would stump up the cash for us
And they would help to reindustrialize the American economy which was always there priority.
@cal doc…..right on….if we all went into sustainable farming this could be the fix eveyone wants in the real issue of pollution and an end to the disgusting carbon credit scam used to control the need for a reindustrialized USA and absolute control and regulation of the green sector.
Max. We got sucked into 401k’s long ago. I am 58 and payiing more attention to yours and others information. I did not realize the coruption that was so prevalenat .
Yours and Stacyey”s commentaries on a daily basis are helping all of us filter through the the garbage. The media mouths do not drill down to the truth. Thank you for your help in dissemintating the truth.
OMG, it’s snowing in Baton Rouge.
@ Dan Valley -
The carbon credit b.s. is utter pap.
You and I should set up a company and then sell our carbon credits.
This carbon credit swap is just another money laundering scheme.
I should sell carbon credits on my patients. If we get the patients into a giant membership based model, for each member patient, I can sell carbon credits.
If they stop breathing, I win on the carbon credit short. If they keep breathing, they still pay membership money.
LOL
What f’ing joke!
Talk about “inconvenient Truth”!
@Dork of Cork -
Hey I’m the ideas guy too. We just sell the idea to GS for implementation…after all, this nation is run by GS anyway.
After all the kakistocracy is HQ’d in GS.
I’ll take a 2% commission off the project cost…. you take 2% ….
So, we get 4% off the project cost of 50 billion per year.
That’s easy for GS to make for us.
GS just needs to sell the options on the future “DEEP RESERVES” in each asteroid. All we need to do is crash land the asteroid in the US and then send our guys to recover the gold.
If it kills a few hundred million citizens… hey, It’s all good right?
We make a commission of 2 billion per year. You get a billion and I get a billion. GS gets the gold.
We can buy any US real estate after the crash.
We’ll live like Kings…
We rule.
And the peasants will be begging us for a gold handout as their farmland lies in waste, their homes are burnt out, their communities are destroyed, and economy ruined.
HAR HAR HAR (evil laugh … as I phone Goldman Sachs)
GS then orders 650,000 call options on the VIX.
(Bunch of gs. s.o.b.s)
Bob Chapman: People who worry about gold? Don’t, it will go up again in 2-3 days. In fact it already is going up again slowly.
Gold is being rigged with derivatives. But this rigging only works very temporarely about 2-3 days.
What happened? The government – Comex commercials (read J.P Morgan, Goldman Sachs Citi Group, Bank of New York, Barclays etc.) have been shorting net the gold market bullion & shares. They hold 306.000 contracts which is triple the normal size of (95.000).
On the other side they’ve proped up the dollar by letting the foreigners buy up the dollar. The U.S. at the same time sells these foreign currencies which they’ve recieved so that they go down – the Pound, Yen, Swiss Franc, Canedian dollar and the Swedish Krona. The central banks collude by using the $500 billion currency swap which they did 5-6 months ago.
Part of it could also be a reveresed carry trade but this maybe come in later to cause a temporary dollar spike up.
Gold will go to 1,550 -1,650 by the first of April 2010 says Bob Chapman on the AJS last friday Dec.5.
Goldman Sachs is a hedge operative for Allianz group based in Germany. If GS is ‘running’ the country, then Germany is our fatherland.
“In fact it already is going up again slowly.”
Sounds like an ad for Viagra.
@frances snoot
Germany fatherland? Donnow I think the Internetz is our fatherland cause we don’t have this nation bashing anymore. On the internet we are far ahead of the criminal globalist NWO. People from all nations communicate as if it is one world but fortunately without order.
@Youri:
Aw, shucks.
@frances snoot
Well what’s on a womens snoot mind….Viagra…funny. Getting horny mouthing ahhahahah!
@Youri:
I thought we’d get better uniforms if we were aligned with the Fatherland. Something to offset those desert tacky khakis and boy scout uniforms.
LOL!
You put it so eloquently, Youri, that I could only imagine a magic occurrence relative to real time/space. Anyway, if I was looking I think I’d find a space vehicle with a working ticker.
We’ll leave the doc with the problem patients.
In a matter of an hour gold already went up from a 1,150 low to a 1,163 high.
German uniforms where designed and mad by Hugo Boss.
Have a look at your new Hugo Boss uniform http://tinyurl.com/d8wlmu sigh the good ol days ….
Youri, I’m up cause I had a bad dream.
There I was driving in a car. And there was this voice telling me about this poor man who had lost the only thing he had: a small fenced yarded-in-area adjacent to the road I was traveling. Well, I looked out and the man was coming back to his yarded area to collect his goods. The fence was very narrow and there was only a shack. There was a goat fenced off to one side, and a dog. Now the dog was howling fit to beat a band! I never could stand dogs crying, but this one had real tears. (in a knowing way I knew that the dog had been left alone while the man fought it out for his property, neglected like) The scene was awful, and then I woke up.
Shouldn’t have put dogs in that category with men: see how it backfired on me?
Hitler made the beetle design himself in a rough sketch which even comes closer to the new beetle design funny enough.
GETTING THE BUGS BACK INTO VOLKSWAGENS HISTORY http://oregonmag.com/AdolfsBug.htm
@frances snoot
Sad story. Who would leave is dog alone? Only when forced. And the MTF’s who forced him don’t care about dogs cause they’ve become worse than animals. Like the dehumanized MTF’s who threw the puppie of a cliff. That says it all where the U.S. got to.
Nice snoot http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_eHMlZfrJmJ0/RyIKJ98rHfI/AAAAAAAAAzk/qb5mIMXwx_8/s1600-h/Wine_dog3.jpg
These need to be resurrected for all of congress.

ss uniform was designed by 2 ss personnel SS-Oberführer Prof. Karl Diebitsch and graphic designer, SS-Sturmhauptführer Walter Heck ,though manufactured by many companies ‘hugo boss ‘ being just one , with field service uniforms made by labour supplied by inmates/victims of camps,uniforms with these stempel markings highly sought after. in the words of Heinrich Himmler in an address to SS officer candidates …’ a good SS mann never buys anything on credit. ‘ ….credit being associated with a particular group of people who as we know were persecuted and blamed for the economic woes of europe.
ps most ss officer uniforms and army waffenrocks etc were individually hand tailored ,though field service tunics were often adapted from work/ fatigue uniforms ,also given the egalitarian nature of the ss ,officers often wore enlisted grade insignia and enlisted men often wore officer grade insgnia, something unheard of in the german army at the time. being an officer meant nothing in the ss other than the fact you were a better soldier . ss were an entirely voluntary army, this was a very modern idea at the time . the ss became the model of every modern army of every modern functioning democracy .since then continues to be the model on which every modern army is based ..
@L mmm a Professor in the uniform design……who would have thought about that? They took it very seriously. Himmler nver fitted his uniform. Even in the uniform he looks like wezel. In the famous foto next to Hitler it looks like Himmler had a oversized helmet on.
What do you know about the esoteric stuff of Germany between WOI and WOII?
Himmler thought he was some reincarnated teutonic soldier but so did Patton, Roma. Takes madman in war….gotto go folks. nighty night.
http://germanhistorydocs.ghi-dc.org/images/highres_30002827%20copy.jpg @ youri ,yes himmler looks like a whimp especially as the only medal ,a part form his ‘gold party badge ‘ and chevron [old fighters chevron ‘ ;which he was very proud of was his party ‘ sports badge ‘ or s.a . sports badge [ sport !sport !more sport ! unsw ! }almost comical there is a famous picture of the ‘Reichfuhrer ss ‘ earning his party sports badge by throwing a shotput, most or truly pathetic , after himmler died the only money that he had was from his wage as civil servant ‘reichsfurhrer ss ”etc unlike the sods of today like ‘dick cheney ‘ etc, Himmler did not use his position to enrich himself . i suppose that is the best that can be said of him .unlike many in power today .whilst in the DDR ordinary citizens could hold foreign currency, it was forbidden for party members to hold foreign currency of any kind ,as way of limiting corruption ,unlike in the west of today ,there are very few cases of corruption the former DDR . not every thing in the past is bad . especially when we see what is happening today !
Heil ,max @ Stacy !
& youri ! the esoteric thing in 3rd reich is very interesting , Ahnenerbe etc ., i have many documents from this period , many years ago i found a box of documents in flea market in Berlin [1990 ] from a golf club in southern germany and eastern europe from years 1927 – 1945 i had no idea that golf was such a popular sport in the 3rd Reich .]? where ever the nazis went they built golf courses and golf clubs [it was part of making making or building an egalitarian society ,absolutely true [ interestingly you got extra points deducted if your golf ball landed in a ' bomb crater' etc ] third Reichs fascination with golf is very little know aspect of the history of third reich, i have often thought that the subject of ‘golf in the third reich ‘would be a great subject for a book , maxs ‘ idea of ‘golf shirted nazis ‘ in washington is actually very close to the truth . i sold the documents many years ago but wish i had kept them .
@youri …http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsOAkZgDXvQ england leid ,or ‘ England song ‘ a ww1 song about attacking England but adopted for ww 2 for propaganda purposes , dedicated to my my favourite people on this site : ‘ riotsmurph ; ‘Jim ‘ Last of the anti moderns ‘ and ‘supergeek ‘ ! . Thankyou !

Dedo: Why is it so inherent, that folk lean on others for their destiny,..hummmf,..always bothered me,..anyone care to explain?
I would say it is because it is economical to do so.
Oh god here we go again
I wish the Voting was limited to ages B/W 28 and 58 all over the world plus ya can only serve the military if you are in this age bracket

If ya have an opnion ya should be allowed to voice it
Ooo Marc Fabers words are comming true
Hitler’s looking more and more like a Saint compared to these lunatics
Obama should sell his war escalation as economic stimulus. That would neutralize ‘progressive’ opposition to his war. On the one hand, war is bad … on the other hand, as ‘progressives’ know, massive gov’t spending is good.
speaking of Bernanke, here is a clip off of CSPAN showing Jim Bunning ripping Bernanke a new one.

Max, thanks for introducing all of these personalities on your show. You are a great resource for finding rational thinking people in this relm.
Sarel Oberholster is misinformed on two KEY facts:
1) When banks loan money, they create it from nothing. They are not using someone’s savings when they make a loan.
2) The Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE CORPORATION. The power to print money was delegated to this PRIVATE CORPORATION by Congress in 1913. Since then the FED has been giving orders, not taking them.
Since Sarel hasn’t figured these two things out, it is hard to take him seriously on anything else he says.
Another good show. Aside from that, I am having some difficulties reconciling some of your views in on the edge, keiser report and truth about markets. If you can get to this during the truth about comments please do.
You have mentioned that Health care is something that should be government run, while other things such as personal computers should not. I am unclear as to the reasoning for this. I understand France has a quality health care system…however, I am not sure of the cost. But if you could specifically address the following:
1) If a service is “free” and provided by the Gov., what is to prevent folks from “overusing” this service? Then this would eventually drive up cost no? If folks have already paid taxes for health care, would they not go for every sniffle? What is the definition of health care then, would I be able to get any neew treatment for “free?”
2) What would be the incentive to provide quality care if they are not competing with others? I think that is a big problem today. Insurance companies are limiting our choices. I recall as a kid the doctor coming to the house to treat me for Hepatitis b and he was paid directly that night by my parents (in Tunisia in 1980 where I was born).
You have mentioned economies of scale for cost savings, but if we would, as the french say do a “demonstration par l’absurde” or take this to its logical conclusion, why should the government not provide food, clothes, computers, etc…for this very same reason? I think because choice and competition is always good. Is not the problem that the government is corrupt along with big business?
At any rate, I assure you that my question is to get a better idea of your reasoning behind this thinking. I agree with much what you and Stacy say and truly enjoy the entertainment value. I just can not reconcile this particular view. Would things be ok if the powere of the FED were in treasury for example? I am also an internal government auditor et mon dieu can I tell you that I have rarely seen a government program done well or at a savings.
ok…hope you can take the time to educate me on this. Pax e Caritas.
