  1. Ron Paul is a puppet of the new world order.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2NsXQcBtOQ

    This video was so controversial that youtube censored it the first time it was put up there.

  2. Stacy you must allow Max to sing!In Old Ireland the most feared person was the Bard who made scathing Poems and Songs about those in charge.

  3. Regarding your comments re: BullionVault. You only went as far as to say the spread widening is a sign of lack of liquidity, sure, thats true in any market. Nobody asked the question how does the gold get into the BullionVault system in the first place?

    From their website: “We add the delivered fine gold content against our own trading account in our BullionVault property records. Once it is in our inventory we can sell it to gold buyers via the order board. Along with all other BullionVault users we can offer it for sale on the BullionVault exchange. Quite often we offer the cheapest gold, and when customers buy our bullion the net effect is an inflow of bullion into private hands in the BullionVault marketplace.”

    This made me realise a very neat trick BullionVault are pulling. Once they’ve bought and sold gold into the exchange, they never need to buy it from the exchange again. They currently have approximately $800 million in gold held by clients, and charge a small commission to each for the amount they hold. No matter who buys, and who sells, this amount will never reduce, even if the gold price collapses.

    Nice business model if you can get it..

  4. Count Caravaggio of TriBeCa

    Bob Chapman, probably does 15-30 radio shows a day, was on Alex Jones Show on Friday, Dec 4. He explains that the Federal Reserve is controlled by 12 major banks – and privated owned and controlled by its top shareholders, most of which have had controlling shares since the FED’s creation in 1913.

    I PUT IT TO YOU…..Stacy Herbert and Max Keiser…..to reveal WHO the 12 banks are….but more importantly WHO the primary banking family shareholders of the Federal Reserve are.

    Bob Chapman also noted that these families and shareholders are mostly EUROPEAN! If the American public knew this we would have revolution within hours!

    Bob Chapman was trying to say in so many words, that the invisible hand that really controls every aspect of our lives in America is controlled and manipulated by European banking families and some American ones as well.

    Please advise.

  5. Mr Unemployed

    @Max

    Corpus Christi is a city in Texas. LOL

  6. frances snoot

    Go Meow Tse Tongue!!!

  7. @frances

    Just regular cat photos, I’ll get a shot or video of him next time he pics a stock.

  8. frances snoot

    @WL:
    :)

    do you have a photo???

  9. @frances

    How can a Treasury Secretary run the IRS and fail to understand TurboTax? Ideology is not necessarily learned.

    You do realize that Meoww Tse Tongue has a double meaning.

    If you don’t see it spelled out you think it is “Mousie Tongue” as he was a great mouser in his younger days. The neighbours would often see him running around with a mouse hanging from his jaws. Cleared out the entire nejghbourhood. He kept notes in a little red book but abacus not so much.

  10. frances snoot

    @WL:
    How can a cat have an ideology if he can’t use an abacus?

  11. @ WL — I need to profile Meoww Tse Tongue for my blog…

  12. @frances

    A cat can’t use an abacus that is ridiculous, He just picks stocks on the computer screen….

  13. frances snoot

    @WL:
    Does Meow Tse Tongue use an abacus to figure?
    Perhaps he has one in his cat brain?

  14. @frances

    Renting Meoww Tse Tongue out for profit goes against his ideology.

  15. @WL:
    Why don’t you rent that cat out for profit?

  16. Hello Max and Stacy, you two are the best when it comes to shedding light on the finacial issue. I like how you both do not hold back and give it like it is… you are doing a big service to humanity for bringing truth to the lies that are being spun in the main stream media. I was listening to you and stacy tlk about the currency issues, I have a interesting story you may want to look into, its about a LA store accepting silver and gold as a currency to purchase food, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xnIFzP2bTY so do you see this as a trend and should i consider starting my own business with the option of using gold/silver pymnt, I am looking for investors .. lol. I also ran across another youtube link that claims silver’s true value should really be at $2000 an ounce, chk it out and do you think it has any truth to it, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqHtficPHV8

    Best regards, jumaibox

    PS: Tell Stacy Hi, I love that girls laugh .. lol

  17. Regarding BV and market making. It is my understanding that they do supply limited liquidity, and often the spreads vary depending on trading location.
    However, I would appreciate the searchlight of Maxie’s mind being turned on BV, and maybe doing a comparison (not influenced by any commercial interest) between it and GoldMoney
    ABB

  18. Woah, I’m glad I stuck with it, Max’s stream of conciousness towards the end was geeniuss. BBC needs a Max and Stacy show.

  29. California doctor

    @Max -

    Thank you for that discussion on fiat currency, gold backing, and purchasing power.

    In a domestic sense, the healthcare discussion in Westernized nations argues about %GDP expeditures on healthcare. Such discussion is similar to that of OPEC and oil production. As dollars are printed, the year on year comparisons are lost. You can increase productivity, but if the dollar printing is inflationary, the doctors are always raising fees to match buy power.

    You can not make y-o-y comparisons when the $USD printing varies in this dramatic of a fashion over the past 18 months.

    During the Senate hearings last week Mr. Bernanke argued that the dollars caught between the big banks and Fed do not make it to general circulation. Yet, the entire premise of TARP was to boost liquidity in the economy.

    The double speak is remarkably Orwellian.

  30. @bonn
    9/11 has A LOT to do with finance, and everything, i think.
    why limit yourself? just post whatever you think is good on jibber jabber with a one-line explanation of what it is. in the end everything is related to everything.

  31. And from what I am see’ing is that if you don’t get caught in the first 6 months that is after you have made a wrap up on any Scandal or Ponzi Scheme . In all probability you will remain Scott free. We’ve only witnessed whats out in the Open. There’in is the 594 trillion dollar OCD’s

    “There are also those who fear such steps towards world unity as a further loss of control to powerful interests and distant bureaucracies. In the same vein, a national currency is a symbol of national sovereignty, and such symbols are rarely given up easily.
    Yet, as shown by the launching in Europe of the Euro, a single currency for 11 countries that will by the year 2002 entirely replace the French franc, the German mark, the Italian lire and other long-established currencies, such symbols can be dispensed with when the promised benefits are strong.
    A single currency must be accompanied by many other measures for integration and harmonization. It would require a strong and effective world monetary authority or central bank, working in the common interest and freed from political manipulation, to manage the world currency, regulate the money supply, and ensure adequate liquidity without inflation. The creation of such an institution would go hand in hand with the development of other mechanisms for global decision making aimed at building trust and consensus among the world’s governments.”

  33. frances snoot

    Problem with a gold-backed currency (backed by the hard metal) is the liquidity wouldn’t be there for an international reserve currency. Seems China would have learned the lesson of inevitable deficits inherent in the country for which a reserve currency is represented. Question is one of globalization: forward or backward?

    Will the IMF retain control? Will the International Currency Union come to fruition through G20 power vector?

    http://www.econ.jku.at/members%5CLandesmann%5Cfiles%5CWS08%5C239339%5CDiplomarbeit_Klaffenboeck_zentrale_kapitel.pdf

    Global trade under the current G20 system will require a move to sdr reserve functionality.
