  1. The Underfundedmentalist

If bernanke is the most powerful man on earth, then mankind is truely a pathetic lot.
Who’s ‘time’ will it be next year?

  2. The Underfundedmentalist

More likely he’s being prepared for a timely toss under the bus, just when the last wheel (taxpayers) flys off. Of course the main stream medium (media is plural) will make this look cool, like when james bond’s car goes under water.

  3. does anybody know who ended the bananawar betwee Europe and south amerika?

Ik think this person should be nominated for the nobel peace prcie

  4. It’s too bad that Ron Paul helps perpetuate the myth that the CRA is behind the implosion of the economy. Other than that, good for him for finally getting some corporate media attention.

  5. HuffPost has posted a copy of the American Bankers Association’s “call to action” memo on thwarting regulations:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/16/bank-lobbyists-launch-cal_n_394673.html

  6. @mep
he didn’t say it was the cause. he said it was one example of how Congress contributes to the problem
. sounds like he mostly blames the Fed.

  7. The Underfundedmentalist

Mr. Paul is being used as a stooge, just as Perot, and Buchannon were.
High paid stooge = false flag patriot.

  8. Timothy Geithner

Would I be correct in assuming that out of all public figures in the US, the personal and political philosophy of this Ron Paul guy is most consistent with that of the average American? You know, minimalist government, individualism, scepticism of foreign “complications” etc…

So why doesn’t he get a bigger audience? What is he doing wrong? Or perhaps I am misjudging your average Joe bag of donuts?

  9. @T. Geithner
I think the problem is that most Americans no longer believe in small Fed. govt. They want the Fed govt to big for their side but not for their political opponents side.
Dem want Big Govt. health care, welfare, education, etc
Repubs want Big military, corporate subsidies, drug war etc.
I’ve heard Ron Paul admonish both sides for their hypocrisy. he’s said you cant rail against big govt. for the other side of the isle and demand it for yourself because it is the nature of govt. corruption that makes it evil in anyone’s hands.
Basic libertarian stuff that maybe lasted 5min if it ever existed in the US.

  10. @ Timmy – You’re misjudging Joe bag o’ donuts . . . for now, anyway. It is not typical to pay attention to actions vs. rhetoric; it’s not typical for politicians who don’t fearmonger or consistently mislead the public on truly important issues to have a large following; and it’s not typical for people like Ron Paul to even have his positions known by the public at large, because the corporate media always silences people like him. Not one corporate media outlet paid attention to his presidential run, just as none paid attention to Kucinich.

  11. @ marietta – My position on “small government” is that we can’t get there without truly progressive policies. So long as we continue to let economic inequality widen, continue to price Americans out of the basics, continue to have tax policies that benefit the wealthy, continue to let wages stagnate for the majority of the population, etc., we will have to keep elements of “big government” “entitlements” in place. “Big government” exists in part because both parties fail to represent the people; it’s an expression of decades-long abandonment of the people and the needs of the leaders of the country to whitewash that abandonment.

  12. Timothy Geithner

    @marietta, Mep

But the corporate media surely knows it’s audience? Say what you want about it, but I think the corporate media will try its best to cater to common opinion yeah?

So doesn’t the common opinion have some correlating thread with libertarianism?

For example, the hero complex propagating in all Hollywood movies. It is always about the individual. You know, “ONE MAN, saves the world….from giant…..space fluff.”

    Know what I mean?

  13. @Mep
I’ve heard Ron Paul say exactly the same thing. After bringing all troops home he wants to continue the social support system for those who are dependent on them with the money saved from defense. Then sound money/economic policies would rebuild prosperity and big govt. could be dismantled. Sounds like you want the same things.

  14. what a bunch of fake bastards. They VICIOUSLY attacked Ron Paul when he was running for President, back when he was in a position to really blow the lid of things. God those Morning Joe hosts make me want to puke.

  15. Timothy Geithner

A better cultural example of ingrained individualism in the US could be westerns.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZsnybNax4w

  16. tim geitner, I don’t think you understand how it works. The media and the banksters. The banksters own the media here in the usa. Have for quite a while now. The bankster owned media tells us how to think in Amerika.

  17. @Mep
And please notice that i said Repubs and Dems in my original post. They want Fed power for themselves but for very different reasons. That’s why i didn’t say progressives, libertarians , constitutional conservatives etc.

  18. @Tofu Charlie, Phil and others

Just found this lad uploading Mike Ruppert’s film Collapse. He’s uploading as we speak, parts 1 and 2 up
    Part one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVH64h4-OZk&feature=related

  19. @ marietta – Yeah, I think that when it comes to political labels, there is a lot of (intentional) distortion that conceals overlapping philosophical positions. I’m pretty far to the left, yet there is little that Ron Paul says that I can disagree with.

  20. @TG
Corporatism is the antithesis of libertarianism. It would do them no good to support it.

  21. @ marietta – Yes, but at the heart of it, the reasons for wanting Fed power are actually the same: power for the sake of power.

@ COP15 followers – Good reporting by Amy Goodman on NGOs being kicked out of the conference center for “security reasons”:

    http://www.democracynow.org/2009/12/16/climate_crackdown_un_bars_friends_of

You can overhear the French member of parliament telling the shock troops that he is a member of parliament and for them to keep their hands off of him.

  22. @Mep
He really is the only one that understands the tribalism that fuels all this insanity. People should be free to live as they want with out infringing on others. It;s never really been tried and it scares the hell out of 99% of the world.

    @jon

Just to blame the banksters and the media is a copout. The audience is obviously to some extent in agreement with what they are watching and listening. Unless they are zombies…

And the Americans I have met have a goddamn opinion….goddamnit!!!

  26. look at those fucking half wits laughing. fucking nitwits. you really do get sick of goofs. that video just reinforced my hate of television. fuck.

  27. sorry stacy.

  35. Note how Sovietistic the cover of Time looked – Bernanke looks like Lenin

  36. Amerika…looks like Atlas “shrugged” after all.

    Both Perfect & Disgusting.

  37. @Marietta — yeah, it sucks how left-libertarians have pretty much no political parties… end up voting for corporados or ineffectual progressives…

  38. Sorry about that Tofu!
A pomeranian (looked to be about 5 lbs.) dropped from the sky in front of a woman’s car. She screamed and jumped around to scare off the owl who was determined to pick up it’s prey. Dog OK, all’s well that ends well!

  41. update. 33 planes arrive safely in paraguay from DC. mostly young children and the elderly.

  42. From 1491: New Revelations of the Americas Before Columbus
pg 374 regarding the Northeastern tribes including the Haudenosunee:
“every man is free,” the frontiersman Robert Rogers told a disbelieving British audience, referring to Indian villages. In these places , he said, no other person, white or Indian, sachem or slave, “has any right to deprive [anyone] of his freedom.”

  43. The Underfundedmentalist

    @ tiny tim
Most people see through libertarian rhetoric like an empty bag of doughnuts. Smaller govt. for who? We know who.
More indvidualism? Being lectuerd by the subzidized about personal responsibility chaffs even the dullest drone. The bailed-out telling the bailers to bail faster?
Isolationist? That would take big government tariffs to achieve.
Don’t believe everything you hear about other peoples opinons, just go ask ten people on main street if they would like to pay for their cops with personal checks.

All the news tells us that corporatism isn’t working, but all of our policies are being shaped to expand it. If we as a people don’t find a way to unite and fight together, we’re so effing screwed.

    Inflation/Deflation…..

    Aaaarggghhh!!

    http://www.youtube.com/user/jberni1

  47. @MEP
you do know that the definition of progressive politics is bigger government and more centralized power. So i cant see how that would help decentralize govt in the long run. If we decentralize and say let states act as the great experiment with policies – like offering free health care or like North Dakota having a state bank, ect. We can copy off the innovations of the many. Plus decentralizing power prevents oppressive regimes from going on military adventures across the world.

  48. U.S. National Debt Tops Debt Limit

    http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/12/16/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry5987341.shtml

Above the LEGAL limit is what the title should say IMO.

  49. One French explorer reported that the Huron could not understand why
“one man should have more than another, and that the Rich should have more Respect than the Poor… They brand us for Slaves, and call us miserable Souls, whose Life is not worth having, alleging, that we degrade ourselves in subjecting our selves to one Man [a king] who possesses the whole Power, and is bound by no Law but his own Will… [Individual Indians] value themselves above anything that you can imagine, and this is the reason they give for’t, “that one’s as much Master as another, and since Men are all made of the same clay there should be no Distinction or Superiority among them”

  50. The bubbles had nothing to do with the expansion of the money supply. Ron Paul is a market fundamentalist, he doesn’t understand human nature or markets. People will continue to go through this same cycle of boom and bust, it’s a psychological thing. There were bubbles with and without sound money there is absolutely no correlation. Schiff/Paul are obsessed with this but they’re wrong.

  51. @Phil

Ooops, saw Berninger you posted first. Just read last post catching up. He’s good.
    Cheers.

  52. @Photoception

yep, Nikolai Kondratiev was sent to the gulag and later sentenced to death for pointing this out.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kondratiev_wave

  53. @Photo
Government are just as irrational as people in making market decisions. Also, absolutely the expansion of money supply/ or credit had to do w/ the bust. Take a look at the private sector debt…. the expansion of cheap credit inflated certain market prices such as housing… people took out even more burdensome mortgages to pay for the new government created ‘American Dream’ of everyone now owning a house…. Student loans- low interest loans basically free-money allowed colleges to expand tuition as much as they wanted.

  54. @Stacey

That’s the chairman of the IPCC, ain’t it cool? Am completely wasted, but also managed to impress the head of Philips lighting research into giving me a firm handshake when leaving with scheduled guests. I can’t vouch for continuity, but it better than being at home..

  55. @Mini US .. be my guest !
Better to post it twice .. if it’s good !
    ;-)

  56. 1491: New Revelations of the Americas Before Columbus
Montaigne also observed the same antiauthoritarian attitudes among Indians that visited France. The Native Americans “noticed among us some men gorged to the full with things of every sort while their other halves were beggars at their doors, emaciated with hunger and poverty. They found it strange that these poverty-stricken halves should suffer [that is, tolerate] such injustice, and that they did not take the others by the throat or set fire to their houses.”

  57. I ‘ve heard lots of people say that Ron Paul has the right idea. Do away with the Fed.

Yet, what comes after that? I’ve never heard any of his supporters come up with a feasible plan on what to do next. Go back to a gold standard? In today’s complex global economy, what good would that do? That would promote isolationism. Which is the last thing the States need right now.

  58. @ Joe – With the example of health care, what were the real progressive after? A single payer system. Now it’s true that the federal government would be drafting policies, but it’s also true that a single payer system would result in more freedom and security for average Americans. It would also unshackle millions of Americans and give them the opportunity to leave employers and start their own businesses; existing small businesses would have the opportunity to expand and innovate as they wouldn’t have to worry about not being able to afford insurance for their employees. In that area of policy, attaching concepts of “centralized power” and “big government” and inferring erosion of freedom is exceedingly misleading. One of our biggest tasks, IMO, is in moving beyond concepts and ideologies that hold us back.

  59. Timothy Geithner

    @The Underfundedmentalist

So thus we can conclude that libertarianism does not reflect the sentiments of your average Joe bag of donuts and this is why Ron Paul is marginalised by the “corporate media”. The market for his ideas is just not there.

  60. @Under funded…if you read ron pauls end the fed he actually advocates Anarchy…no govt. Hes more a student of Rothbard…check into it….

  61. @MEP
I agree though Single-payer would be very beneficial for everyone including business’ allowing them to be able to compete better globally. I think certain policies are great – though as with the current financial reform bill (which is garbage) it ties states hands down on regulations and such. the more you decentralize power the more likely corruption will occur and mismanagement. I am all for society closer to egalitarianism but i think there are certain ways you go about it.

  62. Ron Paul – Im a big fan of him and everything but there are certain things he participates in that make me wonder wtf… He is a member of the AAPS – which has made such claims like – “that the gay male lifestyle” shortens life expectancy by 20 years.” – and hat HIV does not cause AIDS….

  63. Tonight, Congressman Paul will appear on CNN’s Larry King Live, where he will debate Barney Frank over health care “reform.” The hit time is right at 9:00 pm eastern. Be sure to check it out!

    Ron Paul on Cavuto

On Wednesday, Congressman Paul appeared on “Your World with Neil Cavuto” to discuss Ben Bernanke’s selection as TIME Magazine’s 2009 “Person of the Year.”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJDmBhbwL-c&feature=player_embedded

  64. Don’t know if you guys already saw this…

Moody’s warns of ‘social unrest’ as sovereign debt spirals

Britain and other countries with fast-rising government debts must steel themselves for a year in which “social and political cohesiveness” is tested, Moody’s warned.

  65. A friends take on Pauls comments……

    1. Ron Paul is right about contracts being sacrosanct. Fortunately for humans, Lysander Spooner obliterated the social contract theory (the theory of constitutions). Constitutions aren’t valid contracts.

    2. The best test of any philosophy is done in the real world… That’s not true at all. Ethics and economics are both a priori and absolutely true, based on the nature of humans. There’s no laboratory environment through which to test philosophies.

    3. The Constitution created the most productive and successful government the world has known. wtf? The constitution didn’t create anything, PEOPLE created both the constitution and the government. It should be noted that the constitution was an overthrow of the original US government in order to centralize the state and give them imperial powers (taxation and more). The resulting government has been the most violent, murderous, enslaving, imperial, barbaric, deceptive government in the history of the world. Now it’s collapsing.

    4. Since the Constitution limits government… Even Ron Paul is opposed to this theory. He points out in “End the Fed” that the constitution doesn’t DO anything. Only humans can limit the government. History has proved that impossible. Given a group with a monopoly on force versus a group without one, the monopoly on force will win. Further, that group with a monopoly with use that power to obtain and expand upon further powers.

    5. However, no government (in large groups) results in anarchy/ chaos Again, wtf? Anarchy has nothing to do with chaos, they are two concepts of entirely different realms. If anything, history has shown that governments are chaotic, and they produce chaos. The absence of a state is the presence of order. Nature is inherently ordered, and states are contrary to human nature.

    6. The Constitution created the most productive and successful society ever known, and the further we moved away from it the less successful we became. Again, the Constitution didn’t CREATE anything. HUMANS created the constitution, and then they created a government. The fact that a booming economy resulted under the not-huge government does not require real-life experience to determine. It’s an implication of economics: less government intervention = better economy. A fortiori, no government intervention = ultimate economy.

Governments ALWAYS expand. The only thing that can limit them are humans, and yet humans run the government, which has powers normal people can’t. Governments use those powers to obtain and expand upon new powers. When governments are smaller and more limited, economies are less choked (not fully free though) and are able to boom. This is a given, and does not require experience as proof. However, as the economies become great, the state rulers see more and more opportunities for expropriation, thus setting in motion the cycle of limited government –> empire. Governments ALWAYS expand, and limited governments are the most dangerous.

  66. “The system can be gamed,” Soros, 79, remarked at a London School of Economics seminar in July.

  67. @ Joe – Yeah . . . single payer is “politically infeasible” because it would erode the power that corporations and politicians lord over individuals.

Just as the corporate charter came into being to keep the merchant class down and prevent them from continuing to gain power over monarchs, and just as the IMF and World Bank were transformed into institutions that ensure that poorer countries can not compete with richer ones, our “health care system” is all about protecting monopoly power and keeping the small guy from prospering and/or being competitive. One of the greatest myths of the US is that we value competition. We just don’t.

  68. the natives in paraguay thought it strange to see such well dressed people walk 33 miles to the bush compound.

  69. @MEP
I completely destroyed my own comment… I have to cut down on the drinking this afternoon…. ill sum up what i meant… I agree with you lol but i would like to see much more decentralized governance – giving power to states and such more then the federal government

  70. @TG
So why don’t all those of the libertarian persuasion live in one region of the country and all those who are progressives live in another and all the right wing religious fundamentalists live in a third region and all the big govt. liberals in the a 4th and then all can live as they wish? dismantle the federal govt. and have regional govt. instead

  71. all the natives were happy with the new mirrors.

  72. Hello – anyone out there?

    Hello..hello…hello

    (crying)

what the f*ck is going on!

  73. @MEP
funny thing is conservatives quote such people like Thomas Jefferson but dont understand he created the democratic party to stop Hamiltons elitist party and help the common man…. Though conservatives dont understand that most of them defend huge corporations that have taken advantage of them. I wont say democrats are much better because I think the two party system sucks big time… but I just think conservatives have the right mindset just are sheep being led by the same corporations that have taken over their country

  74. The Underfundedmentalist

    @ dan
ron’s vision is of peaceful anarchy has only existed (in modern times) in small collectives, like renter strikes in the 19th century, berkeley in the late sixties, amish farms and the kibutz system, libertarianism is where anarchists on the right back into their counter parts on the far left
sounds good, but are we capable of that?
    @tim
the media creates the market, ron paul represents one flavor of corportism, all recieved opinion falls within the corporate made spectrum

  78. @ LA – What’s up with you? Why are you crying?

  79. @Dan. you jumping on my underfunded without asking me.

  80. @Joe
That’s why it makes my skin crawl when neocons, limbaugh, any rightwing fatass m*er f*ers talk with false authority about Jefferson. He saw an agrarian/libertarian utopia as America’s future which obviously is impossible to obtain but he sure as hell wouldn’t have condoned a war mongering police state.

  81. @Dan. try playing music for a living. you’ll be underfunded even with the 1 4 5

  85. @dan did we tie on underfunded. maybe. see you in court.

  86. @dan. and the cheques are rolling in.

  87. @marietta
Well said – I agree. Talking head Neo-Cons are the spokesmen for the party and they get away with the war mongering BS which is unbelievable…. Though when it comes to politicians both the right and left are completely captured and corrupt. Like The pharma industry agreed to contribute $80 billion toward reform over 10 yrs in exchange for protection from further cuts… this was dont so the democrats could secure campaign finances for themselves in the future. Its completely BS – if we want anything done we must have campaign finance reform of some sort where corporate interests no longer control policy decisions

  88. @Ron Ron……If I stuck with it who knows…..It wasnt my future plan.

  112. @bonn
Who cares if Ron Paul says “we are the greatest country in the world” as long as he’s not for spreading ‘the greatness” around with military use…. Regardless if the tyranny driven USA deserves its punishment then you would be referring to the small majority of elitist who run the country for their own benefit. Your anger should be towards a small group of people who wield the power of the US military and finance industry… c’mon think

You gotta hand it to Ron Paul; he knows his economics. I just finished reading his latest book, “End the Fed”. I don’t know why anyone would save a paper fiat dollar, if they realized how they’ve been being robbed for all these years.

@ Max and Stacey, Now that you see Barry Obama for what he is; what do you think about his missing Birth Certificate? I remember @Sharon pushing the topic a couple of months ago. BTW what happened to Sharon? And does anyone know what Don bag of donuts ended up doing? Is he hiding out in Central America?

  116. @ Joe
I am a Great Fan of Ron Paul I was hopping by some mirical (man whats the spellin of that mirical crap)

Even with massive propaganda and scare tactics that happen in this country people still were against such things…. but again the direct opposite happened… But when single payer is supported by a little less then a majority the government wouldn’t forcibly impose such a beneficial program.

  123. @Bonn
getting angry at other nationalities is stupid IMO when we are a global community on a tiny rock with a vast majority of power in the hands of the few (like phil posted a week ago or so democracy is an illusion)…. war wouldnt do anything but profit the few and kill off many more again. I dont wish any ill on any citizen… I hope we can all wake up and see whats happening collectively

  124. I dont think there is much EU in France
    Really dunno

“Redefining “the good” is very, very hard. Throughout their lives, people make thousands of decisions based on certain moral principles – and it if turns out that those principles were wrong, then they will be forced to admit that their whole lives have been spent in the service of falsehood, or corruption, or evil – and that is more than most people can stomach. In order to preserve their illusions of goodness, they will fight any close examination of moral principles almost to the death!”

  144. @ Bonn- You’re right about us being the most dangerous. I hope that if the new sanctions on Iran are enacted, the pain of it doesn’t reverberate in India. I understand that trade between Iran-India has increased by 80% and is at an all-time high.

  148. @Bonn
I think we agree on most things. Im not trying to start an argument but to say North Korea is ‘fine’ (w/e that means) is pretty ludicrous.

  149. Why not North Korea could be fine
Who Knows is it better than what Iraq was Who knows
Its that we start making Assumpstions is what bothers me
Yeah they Secretive Do they need Liberation
    NO
If they need they’ll figure it out by them selves
Do they wanna go to war with anyone
    No they would’nt dare
    Lets leave em alone

  150. lets face facts. The usa is the illumanti’s war machine. They built it. They use the usa war machine to control what goes on in the world. With other expertise segments like the cia and the isreali cia and british cia all part of the western contingent to be imperilistic and control the world.

Someone has to control things. Too bad the control is just for a very few super rich. Your either on the in. Or on the outs. And they decide. good luck.

  151. @Bonn
Im all for leaving them alone and have not even mentioned ‘liberating’ them. As a human though its hard not to mention and ignore the atrocities that take place there AND all over the world.

  152. @ Joe
And Trust me after figuring out a Lot
I am more scared of USA then North Korea or anyother country
A country which is willing to Kill its own people to Justify war (3000 americans plus the helpers who worked in an asbestos environment who are dieing now of Cancer)

Much more scary country than any other

  153. Like I said USA can’t move foward without solving 9/11
The whole world knows it was an Inside Job but the US

  154. bonn, the usa has been set up to just be a tool for the big bosses. Give us your poor and cast off from other countrys and we’ll put them to work and build a monster war machine to control the earth. But you have to keep those poor and cast offs kind of stupid or ignorant so that they don’t rebel or join the war machines legions. WAllah. The big media. Usa is great. Every other country in the world is bad.

  155. @Bonn — nah, American know… and they’re generally fantastic people: generous, funny, etc… just horribly propagandized and oppressed by their criminal elites… they’re also victims — but some haters will never accept this.

  156. For a country that brags about liberty and justice. The usa spends far more money on its military and has more people in its prisons than any other country in the world.

Does that sound like something is a amiss in the usa. Not is your a greedy war monger like my brother in law. Who thinks this is just great. Lets keep amerika great. And keep doing what its doing. Yah right. geez.

  157. Where am I?…. I think my whole point of what I was saying got lost in translation

    @Tofu I agree — @Bonn @jon – I agree but I think your mistaking what im saying.

  158. @ TC
they’re generally fantastic people: generous, funny
Tell that to the Guy in Afganistan who lost his kids in a Drone attack
    Funny generous
    Now i am Pissed off
    Fuck y’all

  159. what yah saying joe. I like this website. It really has the most intelligent open minded people on it.

  160. I think the usa peoples best asset is they just do what they’re told and don’t rock the boat. Yes sir. I will obey.

Great country. everyone just does what they’re told to do. Yes, sir, I will obey.

  161. @jon
the point was human nature can be easily influenced by toys, totts, ect. propaganda … I.E. the US is a consumption based economy. Keep them fat and happy and what you get is political apathy and the leaders and Powers to be can do what they want with free reign. The US has become a terribly oppressive regime but I was talking about North Korea as being just as oppressive (but to its own people) — I wasnt using it to justify the US actions… but simply stating it as a fact and that its not OK to treat people like that… anywhere, in any country whatever its name is

  162. @ Joe

U, Who has more people in prison the US or China???

  163. JOe , I agree 1000%. I’ve thought that for years.

Like I mentioned send us your poor and misbegotten and will put them to work for miniman wage and build a great war machine. And to keep them from rebeling or getting upset we give them games and trinkets to keep them in thier place. It seems to have worked well. NO one in the usa wants to say or do anything against the griveous wrongdoings cause they don’t want to loose their stuff, jobs, and so called better life.

  164. @Bonn

“they’re generally fantastic people: generous, funny
Tell that to the Guy in Afganistan who lost his kids in a Drone attack / Funny generous / Now i am Pissed off / Fuck y’all”

Well, if it helps you get past your hatred and fear, just think of those ones as reptiles.

But if you’ve got the capacity for it, understand that they’ve been manipulated into playing the game. Maybe they are true believers, but this is temporary (like all mental states) and doesn’t necessarily warrant your self-righteous spiritual fascism…

  165. @Gordo
:) the US! the private prison system in the US is good business (California, Arizona?** ) have private prisons. Did you read or see that a judge somewhere (i think New York) was getting paid for every juvenile conviction. Needless to say he broke a record! & got paid handsomely

  169. We Are Preparing

Ron Paul is spot on and -special note- very polite with this message – “bring all American military home” from all non-US locations – EU, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Southern Europe, (Hawaii too) and especially from any and all Mideast locations.
Not another US taxpayer penny or drop of American blood for any other nation/people -as it has been done almost exclusively for despicable profit making by the filth of Wall Street and the private banksters who own them and the ‘Federal Reserve’. They have pillaged not only our own (with aid and abetting of many non-American thieves and authoritarian wannabes) but others around the globe as well. Vast majority of Americans do not agree with nor condone the robbery of wealth and life of any other peoples of the world. We have been duped for a century into believing that America needed to “rescue” others and for almost every war – including the World Wars.
For a century we -the people of the USA have been bled by these blood sucking money-power vampires. Enough is enough.
Time for all to solve their own problems and for internationalist US-based elites to stop pillaging our wealth and blood for their vile internationalist adventures and “allies” -in the name of phony causes -like “helping our allies” and “spreading democracy”.
So do pay attention – as Ron Paul is giving the polite civilized warning and as time is running out for politeness and civility. Things are going to become very serious – for any and all who ignore the warnings and further attempt more of the same century-old-internationalist blood sucking of our nation’s wealth and our people.
Any and all, inside and outside, of the USA who do not heed this and similar warnings – you will “come and see”.
We -true non-internationalist Americans will soon have nothing remaining and nothing to loose but life itself. True Americans -whom much of the world believes no longer exist because of their brainwashing by internationalist corporate-NWO media propaganda and the thieves now running the USA mistakenly believe we have given up and will fade quietly away while being robbed of our present and future -without a fight. All are in for a life-changing awakening.
We want our nation, peace, and liberties back – but if we must take them back by force – we will -one way or another. We -the true Americans have given all the “experts” and the professional lying class – long enough to change their ways and come clean. Time is up.
Those responsible -for a century of crime against humanity -are now and will be held accountable.
p.s. Once back home, turn the troops loose on the Federal Reserve and Wall Street for starters.
    Prepare.

  179. dan valley, isn’t that odd that that woman like alot of big media is propping up (the weasel) bernake as keeping everything together. Its not like we have to keep the lies alive.

  180. @Mep…he can end the wars without congress.

  181. RE: prisons, check out this video from last night’s Rachel Maddow show. See if anything jumps out. Specifically, pay attention to the potential Gitmo-receiving towns and then play connect the dots.

  182. joe, yep bernake and the fed and paulson(goldman sachs) and timmy gietner(new york fed) saved the day.]

But all I see is all the average joes loosing thier jobs and homes. And the wall streeters and big banks are making billions from bailouts and almost zero interest rates on borrowing money. Seems like theres something odd about all this. Gee , I wonder what.

  183. He can also reverse every fascist executive order signed by Clinton/Bush/Obama on day one.

    @Mep
That whole prison thing has to do with Obama paying back the old political machine back home. Illinois also got a lot more stimulus than most states
And Mark Kirk, he is BIG time beholden to PTB. The story going around the state is that there are major skeletons in that boy’s closet and he is being led around by a collar

  191. @ Apocalypto

No can do, the only thing he got right is stop causing wars everywhere. The FED is not the problem.

It is the oligarchs/corporations/right wing that caused this.

Photoception is correct we had bubbles long before the FED and printing. We have always had the oligarchs.

  192. @Gordo
We had bubbles before the fed & printing but the world economy wasnt as diversified as it is today. Sound money today would make more sense then back in the day. I still believe (as Photo disagrees) Credit expansion was a huge cause of the current debt burdened west.

  193. @ marietta – What stuck out to me was Hardin, MT. Remember this whole story?.

  194. @Gordo
Do you think that the bubbles were as bad before? I mean, at least then you could decide to not participate and the only people that got hurt were the jackasses that decided to participate. Now, the ones who cause the bubble use everyone’s tax dollars to save their asses.

  195. gordo, I think your probably correct. Its all world manipulation. The money thing is just part of it.

KInd of interesting really. Only problem is I don’t trust the rich folks that seem to think they’ve always been better than everyone else. Yah got the power. You don’t want to loose it. And you want to solidify it. Or mom would get mad and spank yah.

  199. Since it is that season of the year we should all lift our hearts and voices in praise that Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board Ben Bernanke has been named Time Magazine Man of the Year for 2009.

We should all pray hard that next year he will also be bestowed with the Nobel Prize for Economics. My entire person just quivers at this thought. The award will be totally in keeping with the Nobel Committee’s recent awards. Why just a few days ago the President of the United States, Barrack Obama, accepted his Nobel Peace Prize while the podium from which he ordered new war making upon Afghanistan was still warm. O Blessed Be O Nobel Committee.

But to be awarded the prized medal for Economic Excellence will surely be the top of his fine career. Hosanna, hosanna, Gloria in excelsis Deo, be still my pounding heart. This act will surely bring praise upon the Nobel Committee who have recently made such awards to persons who are unable to identify a valid economic theory even as one was biting a chunk out of their ass.

But to be named Time Magazine Man of the Year for 2009 does enter Ben Bernanke into the pantheon of other famous individuals like Adolf Hitler in 1938 and Joseph Stalin in 1939 a perfect back to back exacta. Although these previous winners still lead Ben Bernanke by a mile in the categories of monstrosity and murder, our glorious Ben has already beaten them both hands down in the category of wealth destruction but to be fair not on an inflation adjusted [ha] basis since the 1940’s.

However, to be completely fair to both Stalin and Hitler, Bernanke is still in office and it is possible that the implimentation of his economic theories could be the major cause of World War III. In this event Ben could easily surpass both of them in the number killed especially if nuclear weapons are employed. Can we but only dream?

I’m no expert on boom and bust cycles either. I did find this regarding the Panic of 1873
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panic_of_1873

“The large infusion of cash was a result of the recently created National Banking System that led to an inflation of the money supply. This was created via the Bank Acts of 1863, 1864, and 1865. With each “national bank” legally required to accept one another’s notes at full value, the banks as a group were able to inflate the money supply which led to the boom that preceded the bust. The National Banking System was precursor to the Federal Reserve System.”

Since following this site/blog I’ve seen more MSM stuff than in the rest of my life. The commentors often talk about having “woken up” but still don’t see the MSM and the authorized “alternative” media as one vast orchestrated psyop. They provide us with our causes and our champions, and guide the outcomes. In the meantime, the real action proceeds unhampered in the dark.

Now i haven’t brushed up on the latest Paul, but they idea of a libertarian president disolving the corporate power structure seems remote. No govt means no law,a return to social darwinism, there is a reason this old idea is now being promoted. Whose anarchy, whose socialism?

Anarchy does rule all. Always has. Law is the tool man created in reaction to the chaos of the natural world. Mainly because man’s efforts are most efficient when coordinated, thus the human dilema, how to distribute the fruits of collective labor. Might makes right, for awhile, but sooner or later divine intervention is always manifested to enforce the
laws, this form of ‘god’s law’ waxes and wanes over time, finally subcumbing to man’s law. Homo sappiens of the man’s law nations are now coming full circle back to natural law, or so we are being told by the corporate power structure that depends on law to exist, we are actually on the brink of the next inquistion, a period of witchtrials and people courts, mob law.

My opinion, only may be wrong and its not advice!.

Shaking and distracting the week and the greedy, whilst the kings get there way.

There is only one goal for the kings of the world and that is to accumulate gold.

To do this they must distract by causing temptations in other areas and destroy the motive to accumulate the stuff they want. What is very interesting is how limited there influence is becoming.

I suspect they will trash the lot in order that they get there way if needed.

Trying to put ideas of logic and structure behind these moves is not useful for me. Its simply distraction and accumulation, outright greed and fear to shake it out of the hands of the week.

Personally I find it entertaining, with consequences that could be frightening and depressing.

    All other theories ring hollow…..:-)
Trouble is there are more greedy buyers than there is stupidity and the week.

    The Truth About Tamiflu

“Tamiflu may not be doing much good for patients with the flu who take it, and it might be causing harm. The more important issue, however, involves the need for trust in science and medicine. Governments, public health agencies, and international bodies such as the World Health Organization, have all based their decisions to recommend and stockpile Tamiflu on studies that had seemed independent, but had in fact been funded by the company and were authored almost entirely by Roche employees or paid academic consultants. So did the Cochrane Collaboration, at least in its earlier assessments of Tamiflu. Millions of flu patients have taken the drug as a result.”

    “@ Apocalypto

No can do, the only thing he got right is stop causing wars everywhere. The FED is not the problem.”

If you believe that’s the only thing he got right, you’re proving my point. You Americans are idiots, and you vote for the dumbest, most inept, unethical, violent sociopaths who seem to be available at the time of your elections.

“It is the oligarchs/corporations/right wing that caused this.

Does Ron Paul look like an oligarch to you? Open your eyes (and mind). Is that even possible for an American to do now? Are your eyes glued shut by the rampaging brainwashing that has taken place down there in the past few decades? NFL, NASCAR, Jesus, guns, Walmart, McDonalds. America. America. Wat have you become? The beacon of hope has turning into a weak, flickering light.

And you have NOT always had the oligarchs. Your founding fathers were AGAINST such things as oligarchical constructs in government. Quit making excuses. You’re better than that (I hope).

    mission accopmlished
it’s a bit late for change folks
    cuz’ now dissent is terrorism

  288. thank you Apocalypto you have stated it clearly.

Americans are akin to domesticated farm animals. They are stupid, listless and easily led to slaughter. The single driving force in Amerikana is the compulsion to self-victimize. Americans love to chose leaders and situations that make them victims. Then they deny responsibility for that choice. This is the central characteristic shared with drunks, serious drug addicts, gambling obsessives, people caught up in family abuse cycles, obese over-eaters,etc.

Unfortunately this will not change. Any semblance of change may come as the bottom more rapidly approaches. Food riots and bank holidays will be a start but will lead first to facist assaults on minorities and more of the cycle of denial and blame. And the search for a new ‘Daddy’ will be renewed as it becomes clearer to the Sheeple that they need to replace the present Daddy figure with someone who is not impotent.

Nonetheless the very search for Daddy is in itself an act of socail denial. Until the Sheeple realize that they are Sheeple and then rebel one can forget about any meaningful socail or political developments in this place.

  289. Many of us did not vote for GWBush. The vote was rigged again in 04 via diebold and a computer whiz named Mike Connell.

Mike Connell was under oath and giving deposition a few days before this last election when he received death threats from a few members of the Bush Adm. (read Chenney) Connell advised the judge and the justice department that he feared for his life. They ignored him really.

Connell was also a very accomplished pilot. After notifying the Judge and justice dep. he flew to Washington DC for a meeting. On his way back. his plane crashed and the Federal investigators said that he “ran out of fuel”…….Connell’s sister raised the question of sabotage and she has dropped off of the media radar. I hope she’s still alive.

I could go on. The American people who truly know what is going on in this country are afraid. Many of the original organizers for 911 Truth years ago have been “followed” let us say. A full program of disinformation has been launched against the 911 Truth movement and many groups have been infiltrated. It’s typical CIA.

Nothing “normal” has happened in the country since the assassination of JFK, MLK and RFK. A political and financial coup de’ tat took place then. It’s been slow at first, but you are seeing the racing toward the final end of this and a beginning of yet another one…..

It sickens me too about America and what has been a slow dumbing of the American people.

Looking back on the most recent elections including and especially this one, it appears that there is no choice for the American people in terms of governance. It’s all controlled. The presidential campagins are kubuki theater performances.

“The Tree of Liberty must be watered periodically with patriot’s blood”….

The last President who warned us of The Military Industrial Complex was Eisenhower, the President that followed him was John F. Kennedy. After that, we have had war after war for profit. Pure and simple.

We were a great country, but our history right from the beginning was about the landed rich and the poor underclass….the needle has moved back and forth throughout our history, but we are at last back at the same power struggle.

  290. The Underfundedmentalist
