    … Goldman excuses its participation by saying its counterparties were sophisticated and had the resources to do their own research. This is a fair point if Goldman were defending itself in a lawsuit with a sophisticated investor trying to recover damages. It is not a valid point when discussing public funds that were used to bail out AIG, Goldman, and Goldman’s “customers.”…

    Yet just another “one” example of how the system works !
    Just amazing how the Govt. continues to collude with all this …. against the American People !

    Even more amazing that people like Janet, Catherine A-F and many other previous or current establishment members are simply ignored … and the facts are IMO glaring people in the face !

    Well done Janet … but will anything be done about this ?
    I doubt it !

    This is end of empire stuff. When parasitism is seen as good economics. Lets feed on those in despair, thousands at a time. That’ll help create real wealth. Sure.

    How original ! A Casino. Zero sum economic activity. What is taken by the casino will go nowhere in the rest of the economy. A lot lke Goldman Sachs when you think about it. Another proof governments like banks, create nothing. Faite vos jeux. Rien ne va plus ! Le rouge perd.

    Democrats –> Total Nepotism
    Republicans –> Total Favouritism

    waxing and waning that has taken place at the US federal and state levels for most of late Cold War into the current era.

    THE NEWS STORY IS NOT EVEN NEWS, AS IS IS JUST A NOTICE FOR A MASSIVE NEPOT HIRING SPREE…

    It is not government, and it is not souverenty. There is no functioning state in the US at all, by any definition classical or not.

    The Leviathan of the State, in the US is dead — along with the possibility of empire that came from it … now we just have to sit and wait for the blowback.

    Unlike the UK Empire — that left stuff behind — the US Empire had no such goals or ideology to do so … thus there will no comfort for the US as it collapses.

    Pentagon could make huge savings by closing its military bases abroad. 800. I am surpirsed. No military bases on the Moon and Mars ? 300 military bases or even 200 would be quite sufficient . The Pentagon could make huge savings by closing itself off. Killing a lot of its black projets would save most of pillaging. Pentagon is a big fat satanic cancer that burns tons and tons and tons of money, a cesspool of corruption and waste.

    Miltary historians of the second world War generally concur that the facist system of the third reich was grossly inefficent and so full of contradictions that it was incapable of winning the long war – America seems to be repeating its foes mistakes.

    3,3 trillion dollars missing from the Pentagon.
    Think the FED is corrupt ? On september 11th, the only people working at the Pentagon that were killed by the pseudo-terrorists was the forensic accounting working on the investigation of the 3,3 trillion stolen at the Pentagon. How strange and quite funnily disgusting.

The Department of Defense has failed to produce independent audited financial statements since the requirement went into effect in 1995. HUD’s Inspector General refused to certify HUD’s fiscal 1999 financial statements.”

    Marc the article made no reference to closing miltary bases to save costs but to refedralising the US Armed forces
    The US spent more money on its military during the height of the cold war (as a % of GDP) but its spending achieved its objectives
    Military Forces cannot be run like a private enterprise since their objectives are so different – if the US closed its outposts around the world to save money its Empire would collapse and therefore would not save money

    The casino plan is an indication of how corrupt and self serving the elite in the U.S.A. have become. Hopefully they won’t be able to hold there empire together much longer.
