  2. GM crops require GM herbicide, and GM fertilizer, and often massive amounts of water.

Indian farmers are committing suicide, by drinking GM herbicides (a horrible death), because expensive GM seed they were tricked into buying on CREDIT faild to produce crops, and destroyed the fertility of their soil. Even Prince Charles has been exposing this scandle.

The great Monsanto invented and produced PCB’s (an oil based electrical insulator) and carried on polluting this planet with this nasty carcinogen, long after they knew it was a highly toxic and locked into the echo system. Did they have to pay to clean up the poisoning of the rivers of NY and the great oceans?

Monsanto are the devil incarnate, and yet another corporation that require strangulation – with extreme prejudice!

  6. Strange. I smell a nice fat lawsuit against Monsanto.

  7. France’s highest court has ruled that U.S. agrochemical giant Monsanto had not told the truth about the safety of its best-selling weed-killer, Roundup. The court confirmed an earlier judgment that Monsanto had falsely advertised its herbicide as “biodegradable” and claimed it “left the soil clean.” Roundup is the world’s best-selling herbicide.

French environmental groups had brought the case in 2001 on the basis that glyphosate, Roundup’s main ingredient, is classed as “dangerous for the environment” by the European Union.

In the latest ruling, France’s Supreme Court upheld two earlier convictions against Monsanto by the Lyon criminal court in 2007, and the Lyon court of appeal in 2008, the AFP news agency reports.

Monsanto already dominates America’s food chain with its genetically modified seeds. Now it has targeted milk production. Just as frightening as the corporation’s tactics, including ruthless legal battles against small farmers, is its decades-long history of toxic contamination. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8308903.stm

Some 25 years ago, I had a lawyer near Frankfurt who mainly did work for the German super rich. His wife was a public prosecutor. I asked him one day why he didn’t have any children. He said “You must be crazy to want children to come into this world !”. I didn’t understand him at the time, and OK, he was a lawyer, so I suppose he may have an ultra negative view of life. But looking back, maybe he knew something important that we are only now waking up to ? A very intelligent and awake guy, which is why that conversation always stuck in my mind !

  27. @Phil

But every country with diplomats already have diplomatic immunity. So do their police forces on their own soil. Interpol is representing a number of countries internationaliy, so it is only logical it gets immunity as well.

AJ is on the ball because he can use the info to scare and anger people that are not even capable of responding to the most basic problems in their own country. AJ, all rage, no solution..

  28. and you wonder why we value our guns

  29. I do think we are seeing international diplomacy break down. Due to the behaviour of some countries at the COP15. Iran gives UK the finger, China gives the UK the finger. And that Lieberman (slithering rat) thinks they can turn the UAE into a battleground as well to keep the oil from Asia on the pretense of fighting Al Qaida

Liebermans behaviour reminds me of how the Ortodox Jews dominated the knesset in Israel with only 10% of the votes. Many complained about it whan I was there. It is quite obvious that a method of governing by majority should not be controlled by a clear minority..By definition undemocratic.

  34. California Doctor

    @Mother Earth -

May I point out that the US federal gov’t is not a direct democracy. In order to have a “democracy”, the people would need the ability to have petition to place resolutions on the federal ballot and call elections by recall.

California has such a system and it is actually threatening the fabric of US constitutional law.

There is a divergence between the states which have direct democratic rule versus the federal government which has none.

It is my view that the government of the United States would be better served by a direct Initiative process.

But, I doubt that Senators like Lieberman or the White House would permit it to start. The erosion of the importance of the lower house in the legislature occurs and you end up with the initiatives crowding the ballot.

The state of Calfiornia is “ungovernable” by some accounts. Usually the people making these statements are the minority party who is just trying to dismiss their own ineptitude. Because the majority party can still pass initiatives, they usually do not feel “left out in the cold”.

@StacyHerbert – iranian gov’t threatens London with Punch in Mouth… and @ME on diplomacy

Diplomacy is good for situations where there is civility. But, in recent months the increasing seizure of Iranian assets in the UK and USA shows the plan. They’re baiting Iran into pulling a Pearl Harbor. My guess is that Iran won’t do it. Instead, they’ll pay someother dumb country to do it.

In WW2- the FDR admin baited and goaded Japan into hitting militarily first. There’s going to be an increasing rachet which pushes up the tension and clamps down on civility over the next few months to years. Depending upon how much tension is needed to prop up the international banking and finance structure, they’ll keep racheting.

The only way to cut off the debacle is for the masses of people to decouple from the financial systems controlling their families.

This means that people would need to move to a barter system, grow their own foods, get their own electricity/water/etc.

  35. @!984 Stacy

NOTHING IS WORTH A LOT. (like 1984)

Nice if you can get the job. 6 million dollar salary to work for a company with an infinite and perpetual negative worth. That genius of american capitalism and the stupidity of foreigners like Russia Central Bank that had loaned 105 billion to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. The stupid chineese did the same thing by the way.

How to make a lot of dough with absolutely nothing. That’s the American dream in 2009.

Sometime this year, we taxpayers will again receive an Economic Stimulus payment. This is a very exciting program.

I’ll explain it using the Q and A format:

    —————————————————————

    Q. What is an Economic Stimulus payment?

    A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.

    Q. Where will the government get this money?

    A. From taxpayers..

    Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?

    A. Only a smidgen.

    Q. What is the purpose of this payment?

    A. The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.

    Q. But isn’t that stimulating the economy of Asia?

    A. Shut up or you don’t get your check.

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the US economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:

    1. If you spend the stimulus money at Wal-Mart, your money will go to China.
    2. If you spend it on gasoline, your money will go to Saudi Arabia.
    3. If you purchase a computer, it will go to India.
    4. If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico, Honduras or Guatemala.
    5. If you buy a car, it will go to Japan or Korea.
    6. If you purchase useless plastic stuff, it will go to Taiwan.
    7. If you pay off your credit cards, or buy stock, it will go to pay management bonuses and be hidden in offshore accounts.

Or, you can keep the money in America by:

    1. spending it at yard sales or flea markets, or
    2. going to baseball or football games, or
    3. hiring prostitutes, or
    4. buying cheap beer or
    5. getting tattoos.

These are the only wholly-American-owned businesses still operating in the US.

    Conclusion:

The best way to stimulate the economy is to go to a ball game with a prostitute that you met at a yard sale and drink beer all day until you’re drunk enough to go get tattooed.

  44. Where’s the radio show posts? I want to rock on my guitar while listening to M & S telling the people!

  45. Yep, Monsanto can sell a farmer the destruction of soil that has been nurtured and improved for centuries. Monsanto can sell food with poison you can’t wash off because it is literally produced inside the plant itself. They can sell seeds that produce no or few new fertile seeds. And they can have laws tailored to these ends.

Without globalization, without globalist bankers, it would be impossible. It’s a model dependent on ignorance born out of irresponsibility born out of low risk transgressions. How many people would grow food that contains pesticides if they knew it would all be eaten by locals? For how long would they get away with it if they chose to grow it? How many people would make the excuse “there is nothing I can do?” when they know the farmer who grows and sells the poisoned food?

  46. Vega Man, I like your joke. You can also spend the money at a local Farmer’s Market. A good thing about that is the farmers are likely to recirculate a significant portion of their sales into the local economy, whereas someone holding a yard sale will likely go to Walmart with the money.

  47. Vandana Shiva is an activist against Monsanto’s transgressions in India and there are some vids of her on Youtube.

  48. Cadoc, yes that’s the one.

I’m not a techy, I don’t know how to link to posts. But if you go to infowars.com, Jones interviews this man and is going to interview his wife as well.

It’s really amazing what is being done or not done. Main stream media are not covering the information of this “attack”
