  1. How about inviting Piers Corbyn from Whethet Action to confront your dogma about Global Warming ? It would just fantastic.

The truth about Markets and the truth about Wheather too.

The biggest news is NATIONALISATION and EXPROPROPRIATION of all the 401k/IRA by that tyranny in Washington.

    http://market-ticker.denninger.net/archives/1830-401kIRA-Screw-Job-Coming.html

Don’t cry for me Argentina. USA is just a big decadent banana republic. Imagine ? Forced to buy zero yielding pieces of toilet paper ! for you old age. This in NOT a democracy. It’s a tyranny. .

  2. That’s Wheather Action.
CO2 science is as bunk as subprimes or credit default swaps.
You are right. Theses banking fascists ONLY understand brutal force. Indeed. Does it mean that Iceland will soon be invaded like Irak ?

  3. @ MA

Wheather goes hand in hand with Markets

  5. @Bonn

Napoléon tried the same thing. Absolutely stupid. But let’s admit that Germans are sometimes very cocky and overconfident. A lot suffer from the famous germanic superiority complex.

It plays a lot of bad tricks when investing and when tryiing to build empires. Napoléon was warned about Général Hiver. General Winter is still very important.

Hitler did the same error as Napoléon because as the racist he was, he taught that the “Germanic race” was not like the “inferior” frenchmen. Yeah an asshole indeed that Hitler.

  6. Truth about markets New Zealand

  7. And Chineese make tons of countefeir Dior. Life is like that. The “French” ? You certainly mean some businessmen from France ? I make a difference between Americans and Goldman Sachs. It’s strange that people can’t make a difference between both. Like Russia. You have the oligarchs and you have ordinatry people living there, which most are quite nice and decent. Same thing fot Britain. Same thing for the rest of the world.

The foreign policy community’s favorite counterinsurgency adviser, or at least their favorite Australian one, David Kilcullen, told lawmakers last week that the drone strikes targeting Al Qaeda and Taliban fighters in Pakistan are creating enemies at a far faster rate than its killing them. According to statistics he provided, the success rate of the drone bombing campaign is extremely low: JUST 2 PERCENT OF BOMBS DROPPED HAVE HIT TARGETED MILITANTS. The other 98 percent? Those killed noncombatant Pakistani civilians, he said.

2009: The Year Wall Street Devoured the US Government

… But sometime in the 1970s – no one can definitively say exactly when – the money handlers got the upper hand over the industrialists. For the first time, the General Motors Acceptance Corporation, the financial arm of the giant auto maker, made bigger profits than its parent company.

(( “When the bubbles finally burst, it would require the full faith and credit of the United States to prevent utter collapse of the financial sector.” ))

By the 1980s Wall Street was busily dismantling the manufacturing sector of the United States. Finance capital achieved total supremacy over the Democratic Party under President Bill Clinton, whose operatives abolished all effective controls on the mass manipulation of money. The bankers were now free to create bubbles so huge that when they finally burst, in September of 2008, it would require the full faith and credit of the United States to prevent utter collapse of the financial sector.

Gross is merely pointing out that the American government has bankrupted itself and is out of funding so it’s time to move shop. Rather like Pigpen of Charlie Brown fame, the mess is made by the industrialists and bankers and then when profit margins dimininish it is time to leave in a dust-cluttered-mass for greener pastures.

  34. “This cold water in the Atlantic is being blamed for the wave of cold currently enveloping North America, Europe and Asia. It is the butterfly effect. Yet it is unclear why the North Atlantic seas are so cold?” From: Stacy Summary: http://tinyurl.com/y9yqn73

Let me explain you why the North Atlantic seas are so cold. Youri Carma is on to some REAL Science now here. Dutch Prof Begemann actually went to the Arctic to do research and found out that it is raining more than usual up in the North.

The relative warm sweet water, which floats on the more colder salt water lets the icebergs melt down much quicker than usual. In fact this causes the cold from the Icebergs to stay much further North than normal, cooling the North Atlantic water like Ice cubes in your Whiskey. Normally these icebergs float much way South before melting down thus spreading the cold more south. Left overs of these Icebergs could be seen before the Washington coast.

Dutch Prof Begemann: I don’t believe there is a Climate Crises (Ik geloof niet dat er een klimaatcrisis is.) Only Dutch so you have to trust me on this one or ask Mother Earth for conformation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcpPZU9tGMU

TJ: village idiot at Keiserville. Leans up against trees to scratch his back while saying, “Gee, gum. Looks like rain.” Spends hours drinking our of a small brown-paper-bag provided by Bonn and grinning. Complains about two things: intelligent conversation and bow-legged women. Known as TJ since childhood when a hammer landed on his head from workers who did not see his mud-pie making operations beneath their roofing project. Called TJ because he did not respond to his name but only said, “me…t.j.” and followed people about grinning. Harmless mostly expect for a propensity to become mildly annoyed when addressed with words.

  54. frances snoot

There seems to be a mildly annoyed resonance to their posts concerning idiots they’re becoming at Keiservilled. Never mind: all in a day’s work lads!

“Sadly enough the whole “War on Terror” is fake!”
It may have started out as fake war on terror but will it end as a fake war…?

    - yes Adam Curtis’ “The Power of Nightmare – The rise of the politics of fear” is powerful and a must see documentary.
    - Brzezinski link, he makes a lot of sense in that clip, a wise man he is but also damn scary.

Two short stories about Media and propaganda taken from John Pilger on a saturday night:

“During the Cold War, a group of Russian journalists toured the United States. On the final day of their visit, they were asked by their hosts for their impressions. “I have to tell you,” said their spokesman, “that we were astonished to find, after reading all the newspapers and watching TV, that all the opinions on all the vital issues were, by and large, the same. To get that result in our country, we imprison people, we tear out their fingernails. Here, you don’t have that. What’s the secret? How do you do it?”

    and…

During the 1970s, I filmed secretly in Czechoslovakia, then a Stalinist dictatorship. I interviewed members of the dissident group, Charter 77. One of them, the novelist Zdener Urbanek, told me, “We are more fortunate than you in the West, in one respect. We believe nothing of what we read in the newspapers and watch on television, nothing of the official truth. unlike you, we have learned to read between the lines of the media. unlike you, we know that that real truth is always subversive. By subversive, he meant that truth comes from the ground up, almost never from the top down. (Vandana Shiva has called this ‘subjugated knowledge’).

Pulling an image out of a person’s brain is a feat that is hard to believe, but Dr. Jack Gallant of the UCB psychology department seems to have gone this accomplishment one better. I think the banks actually have $0 for every $1 of your checking deposits. Are you savvy on “sweep accounts?” After 1995 in the US there has effectively been zero-reserve banking. The banks use sweep accounts to avoid reserve requirements and FDIC.

If the money market breaks the buck again peoples paychecks will bounce.

  79. A few light taps upon the pane made him turn to the window. It had begun to snow again. He watched sleepily the flakes, silver and dark, falling obliquely against the lamplight. The time had come for him to set out on his journey westward. Yes, the newspapers were right: snow was general all over Ireland. It was falling on every part of the dark central plain, on the treeless hills, falling softly upon the Bog of Allen and, farther westward, softly falling into the dark mutinous Shannon waves. It was falling, too, upon every part of the lonely churchyard on the hill where Michael Furey lay buried. It lay thickly drifted on the crooked crosses and headstones, on the spears of the little gate, on the barren thorns. His soul swooned slowly as he heard the snow falling faintly through the universe and faintly falling, like the descent of their last end, upon all the living and the dead.

  95. @ frances – Bummer about Spain; I didn’t know that EU member states had such restrictions on their ability to run deficits. I agree with the writer that the US has the ability to spend in a meaningful way that will improve matters while staving off inflation. I just don’t see where the political will is to actually do that. While I’m extremely disappointed with the leadership of this country and with the Democratic Party, fact is that the GOP is not interested at all in doing anything constructive. They are gearing up for the 2010 elections–where we can count on them to do just what the writer of that piece was talking about: fearmongering on deficit spending despite any underlying economic theory that supports such a position. So in the meantime, they will keep filibustering and saying no to everything and anything. And besides that, we obviously can’t count on any kind of genuine financial reforms thanks to the WTO. Seems that all we have to look forward to is JPMorgan handing out foodstamp cards to even more Americans, ’cause no jobs are coming back anytime soon . . . . hardly a path to economic recovery. Tax revenues will keep on sliding, too, as states keep cutting back jobs and services. One of the only things we’ve got going now is Arianna’s freaking “move your money” movement.

    “It’s the economy stupid.”
    “It’s the sun spots stupid.”

These crooked scientists at the IPCC should be court marshalled and fired (to the sun). In reality they want to tax the carbon because they want to kill us all. Remove the carbon in your life ya folks and you are dead meat. Camp FEMA carbon is next.

” Excuse me we are going to rape you, to steal you and then starve and freeze you to death. It’s for a good cause.” The Green eugenist.

By the way try doing agriculture without hydrocarbon. Good luck.

We are doomed if we let these dirty eugenist malthusians have their way. It’s about effectively killing by half (some say 90%) the population because some real rich coucous are half crazy.

You start by creating mass unemployment, by making them lose their houses and their assets, and then you cut the carbon and the food stamps. Obama ! Obama ! Obama ! YES WE CAN !

Who needs education when good old starvation and extermination does the trick much more easily. That’s the real agenda. And strangely enough it’s always the same vampire squids that get the system’s maintenance; the bloodsucking banksters. Green eugenist vampires.

Would you listen to such person explain you how the world works? We should focus on things in common; no one likes to starve to death or destroy the environment with toxic waste, want to improve recycling (not fake where electronics are dumped in africa) or improve stability of the fish population that is dying. This is the same for all people and if CO2 is a problem that will decrease by improving the oceans/ecosystems because they absorb co2. The current focus of global warming end of dayers is taxation, carbon credits and bio fuel (went over this before) with force and speculative science. Global warming is like bono fighting poverty.

It’s not “if – if” but “and – and”, so solar spot minimum and gulf streams (Colder in the North) and other radiation from the sun having influence on the upper atmosphere and cloud forming etc…

1963 also solar minimum 1997 etc…. check the cold winters with solar minimum. Deep Solar Minimum http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2009/01apr_deepsolarminimum.htm

In fact we only understand part of the complete weather system so I would be a real genius if I could explain it all when even the scientist don’t understand it all. So to be honest I don’t know why parts of Alaska and Canada are 5-10 degrees warmer (But still below zero)

I have a theory why the North Atlantic water is colder.

Why does it rain more in the Arctic than usual? Donnow? Will keep studying the subject for more answers.

  150. Crumpet Muncher

Can you see the little helmet thing? Max that is the funniest question I’ve ever heard you ask. Classic. That’ll keep me laughing all day. Thanks.

  151. Sept. 30, 2008: Astronomers who count sunspots have announced that 2008 is now the “blankest year” of the Space Age. http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2008/30sep_blankyear.htm

  152. @Youri – I would tend to go with the system that explains the annual weather system in the Northern Hemisphere: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Atlantic_oscillation

The ‘Omega Block’ on top of this is just a term to describe the flow pattern and these patterns are easy to identify and measure.

  153. The sunspot cycle is behaving a little like the stock market. Just when you think it has hit bottom, it goes even lower.

2008 was a bear. There were no sunspots observed on 266 of the year’s 366 days (73%). To find a year with more blank suns, you have to go all the way back to 1913, which had 311 spotless days: plot. Prompted by these numbers, some observers suggested that the solar cycle had hit bottom in 2008.

Maybe not. Sunspot counts for 2009 have dropped even lower. As of March 31st, there were no sunspots on 78 of the year’s 90 days (87%).

It adds up to one inescapable conclusion: “We’re experiencing a very deep solar minimum,” says solar physicist Dean Pesnell of the Goddard Space Flight Center.

“This is the quietest sun we’ve seen in almost a century,” agrees sunspot expert David Hathaway of the Marshall Space Flight Center.

Modern technology cannot, however, predict what comes next. Competing models by dozens of top solar physicists disagree, sometimes sharply, on when this solar minimum will end and how big the next solar maximum will be. Pesnell has surveyed the scientific literature and prepared a “piano plot” showing the range of predictions. The great uncertainty stems from one simple fact: No one fully understands the underlying physics of the sunspot cycle.

Solar Cycle Prediction (Updated 2010/01/04) http://solarscience.msfc.nasa.gov/predict.shtml

  154. @stacyherbert

Yep, Stacy and also El Nino but they are all part of more factors like said. Sunspots, Amount of clouds, Gulf streams, Upper and under Wind streams, Terra conditions (snow reflects the sun) etc… etc…

That’s the reason why it’s so difficult to predict the weather although they getting better at it. But forget about someone telling you what will happen over a year like the IPCC fraudsters pretend. Weather forecast can be accurate up to 14 days but it stays a weather FORECAST with inaccuracies depending on where you are on earth and what is happening in the system at that particular time.

  155. @ Youri

Thanks for linking that video about the moon landing possibly being fake. I enjoyed it and it was extremely fascinating. Having watched it, I’m lead to be believe that there was some funny business going on. I was very intrigued by the post moon landing press conference with the likes of Aldrin and Armstrong. Instead of being ecstatic and forthcoming, they displayed body language and mannerisms that would suggest that they were disinterested. Curious indeed.

  156. @stacyherbert

This North Atlantic oscillation ‘Omega Block’ is very interesting and can be measured indeed but explaining afterwards and predicting forward are two different things though they help the weather forecast predictions, I agree. It’s weather history, very helpful too.

    @Paul

Good thing you keep an open mind. That’s maybe the only advantage of all the fraud going on that people are forced to think for themselves again. Well that’s for the people who can think cause most of them are not even able to mobilize their little grey cells, they rather stay in the herd.

if the cold weather spell were caused by solar inactivity and not by the measurable movement in the Gulf Stream

Yet can the gnarled human hand of global warming be detected in the current weather? Isn’t this just the type of weather forecast by the apocalyptic Hollywood drama The Day After Tomorrow, in which the gulf stream, the conveyor belt that brings warm water around Britain, shudders to a halt? No so, according to the Met Office, which insisted there was no evidence of any change to the gulf stream and that a high pressure block of such magnitude and duration can appear every 30 years or so. “High pressure blocks act like heavy rocks in a stream, in the way that water has to flow around them,” explained a spokesman.

These two fabricate a war, made totally in a studio, in order change national news, which will get the President out of a jam. So they have to decide who to go to war against and they pick Albania. Why Albania?
I don’t know, they hate us.
    Why do they hate us?
    They hate our freedom?
Nah. They don’t even know what freedom is.
