    Dutch Labour that is!

    Stacy, can you start “Maxkiser-dating.com”?

Can’t find any females into this subject matter.
    Mike

  2. You guys are so cool.

    You do so many shows.

  3. THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK

  4. C’mon Mike there has gotta be some good looking chicks with an eye for economics in Liverpool. Your not looking hard enough

  8. I had to shut this one down. Any man who knows so much about pornography and the inner workings of female sexuality, and his voice speeds up and his volume level increases, has a screw loose and needs get back on the level.

  9. Colombia is less likely to default than the US? Oh. Dear. I can affirm that the “American Dream” is indeed dead. Killing myths is difficult, just look at the various religions.

  10. Good show, as usual.
    nitpick dept
Ralph Nader’s profile jumped with the 1965 book “Unsafe at any Speed” which featured the dangers of the Chevy Corvair.

  11. Good article, if it has not been posted before:
    http://matterhornassetmanagement.com/2010/02/11/sovereign-alchemy-will-fail/

He agrees with Max’s assessment. “By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.”

  12. Im thinking about starting a new media blitz ……..instead of worthless fiat currency for gold …. how about selling me your farmland for gold or worthless fiat currency.

Ive got Gold, but like the old saying goes , you can’t eat it. Even if gold hits 5000 $ US an ounce, and I sense a top and sell. What do I get back in profit? Worthless Fiat paper money. I suppose that Fiat paper, could buy more land, sheep and cattle. Currencies and gold, for now have perceived value. Later on, water, shelter, food, and of course more importantly your health will be of more importance and value.

  13. Just to let you know, my husband had several dreams of murdering Bill Gates….it’s true…..LOL. Quite some time ago, but still……

  16. @Y’All
he’s a power poster on a link attack
he missed his supper, and just had a snack
every 2 days he may go to bed ,
can never remember what he’s just read
his brain has gone missing without a trace
coz he’s posting all day to max and stace
the nervous energy is making him sick
but he won’t go out, when there’s arses to lick
don’t ask him why he acts like that
    he’s an inso-fucking-maniac!!!

  17. @SG

TnX SG I knew I could count on you for back up.

It’s true though except for the “missed his supper and snack”. I watch my food nowadays. And like to add on the ass licking part – depends who’s ass it is?

  18. so the message from that show is short the swiss franc and short boobies or is it go long on boobies I’m not sure

I’m not boobist, I like all types of boobies apart from falsies , stay off the the other stuff I had to put my headphones on so as not to startle the female members in the household

ref Obama I agree he has done nothing , but the game was over before he appeared, he helped divert attention to what was going on so they could get a chap who happens to have dark skin into office.
Tamagotchi is the toy you were trying to say, shows the last time you went into a toy store :)
I disagree about your thoughts on Microshaft Windows 7 is actually very good and XP was their previous best effort

  19. There is something patently wrong with your currency theses, Max. First of all, a currency market is too big to come under persistent downside attacks, because the moment this occurs, there will be a flood of capital to support the other side of the trade.

Now, though its much ignored in global finance, and that people wonder why the heck Canada makes up part of the G7, its bond market is second to none on a per capita basis, and is not necessarily a “commodity currency.” I think Canada will come under attack through its mortgage market, since the country is the extreme outlier on having absolutely NO gold in the central bank. A failure of the sovereign bond market here will have catastrophic consequences. THEN the currency comes under attack.

Any central banker would love to see their currency debauched under their control. A “raid” on the currency would see it rise. So what, exactly do you see happening to the Yen?

I used to think I got kids older than Max but no.. I ain’t THAT old.

As per “busty substances”.. (Peter Cook, Dudley Moore).. the hottest thing about a woman.. is her brain. Jeebus. We know that, don’t we? Don’t we know that? Isn’t that righteous nerd logic and does that not rule around here???

It’s an intelligence test. Those who fear smart women turn out to be themselves intellectually challenged. An observable fact.

As to the Canuck Buck, the Loonie.. when do they go after that one?

Oh, yeah.. OFF TOPIC: Max-hater on Politics I.E. says all Max fans are in lunatic asylums and such. Write with crayons. Paint with feces. (sp?)

You know I don’t agree. I trust my old man instincts. Smart people can’t stand to be around unsmart people. There may well be nuts here (yeah, me too) but by Jeebus, I insist most are smart nuts!

OFF TOPIC: I did the Max Vote thing. Suggested party name: The Truth Party. Max’s role: President (and founder). Motto: The Truth Sets All Free.

  25. William of the North

    @ Stacey,

At 15:15 you jokingly did “you’re listening to Max and Stacey on RDU Christ Church”.

But, I think that’s how you should go on break, and come back from break. Just sounds more radio show to me.

  32. I think Canadians are in for a nasty surprise and about to learn exactly what the term “Credit Default Swaps” means.

As for presumed attacks on currencies, the only currency that has been under constant, aggravated short selling attacks is gold. This is perhaps the only market where you can continue ad nauseaum to short sell without having any actual bullion to sell into the market.

If you sell the opposing currency into the market, you are ‘buying’ the rising currency. That’s how it works. And NO central banker wants to see a relentlessly rising currency, because this will have a direct adverse effect on yields in the bond market.

    Good listen …. 1 hour !

  45. Fundementally people are sick puppies when it comes to USA.
The best way to convince them that USA is a country like any other would be send them in one of the many holes USA has. I would chose for these godamn stupid morons from New-Zealand, Germany, France, Québec, Canada, Sweden, etc……a 12 month stay in Detroit. So many unsong holes in the US Regrettably don’t count on these stupid foreigners fed with Hollywood shit on dreaming their own dreams. A lot of places in the USA ressemble more to Eastern Europe or Nicaragua.

  46. @frances … mentions BIS in HOUR 3 , ca. 3/4 of the way through !

    http://financialsense.com/

Wants the BIS audited …. same as the FED !

  47. @ Youri – I saw a snippet of an interview w/ Bowles and Simpson a few days ago. Their goal is clearly “bipartisan” in the sense that they’re both ready and willing to screw the public over some more. Bowles spoke about making “tough decisions” that people on the left aren’t going to like very much; Simpson said the same about the right. Seems to me that the new definition of “bipartisanship” is republicans and democrats banding together in the name of deficit hysteria to impose “tough love” on the public. There’s no question in my mind that they going to attack social security and medicare.

  48. @Y’All
    huh, ROT in HELL!!!

Yes, & look who turned out to be KGB !

  50. And terrible to say. The only thing that will break the spell will be a depression, the total destruction of the US economy and of its financial system coupled with a civil war.

Just maybe then the foreign assholes will stop dreaming the phoney banloney dreams manufactured by what I call a nazi organization; Hollywood. it is. Exactly like Microsoft. The Microsoft is based on the oldest model on earth the monopoly. Monopoly men are cancers for world peace and free markets.

Ther truth about markets is that have stopped functionning a long time ago. I would say it really started after the fall of the Berlin Wall..

That was really the turning point for the present chaos and the horrible monopoly of nothingness in the brains of people. The End of Communism created an intellectual and financial nightmare. Yeah it’s finally not about money or economy, it’s about hocus pocus magical spells in the screwed up head of people obsessed wth empires.

We need a Cold War against American culture first. Food, culture, ideas and dreams are much more important finally that gun boats, nukes or banksters.

Must agree. Dimes is one smart cookie. A fantastic contrarian that had the courage of being fired to go against what I call Yankee superiority complex and the paper bankster national-socialist (nazi) complex. A lot like Max. The thing that could happen to the USA is indeed a good depression. Would be good for all of us. Quite dramatically painful for all of us. But you have to break the myth and break the cancer of the state working for corporatists. Dimes is a good example of a courageous man.

  59. Mike/Liverpool

  62. @Mike. the hookers in montreal will blow your mind. pounds for plane tickets. think fast. ;-)

  63. @Marc:
You neglect to consider that Dimes indicates that the BIS is most probably at center of the dollar/reserve system: should there be a ‘purgative depression’ in Switzerland as well? Basel is preparing for the switch to sdr/reserve system through allocations of sdr via IMF vote.

  64. before you die you gotta go to montreal. thursdays for dinner then the basement revolving dance floor. fucking montreal. all day everyday. ya.

  65. @Snoot. nice of you to drop in. :-)

  66. @ronron

Three nations in Canada. English canadians, French canadians (or Québécois in Québec) and Indians. Unfortunately there is a clear lack of wanting to recognize the complex nature of Canada. Yeah I saw what happening to the other “official” language in Vancouver this week.

That’s why a lot identify themselves as Québécois first and foremost and want eventually their own country. And that’s why a lot still think that there is a fundemental imcomprehension. I know my history Ronron. Canada history’s after the conquest wasn’t a very nice place to the french speaking inhabitants not just the Indians. And it’s still isn’t.

It’s not Tibet but it’s not very positive place let’s say for the second official language and culture. 100 years from now anyways Ronron Canada and Québec will have stopped existing.

  76. zoot fucking suits. too much that sutton. hahaha

  77. @Mike

Sell your assets and move to Russia or even better to Ukraine or Moldavia (a wine paradise). Never seen such interesting ladies bright, sensual, intelligent and cultivated. Thinking of it. Love tha culture. Troubled eastern european countries are much interesting.

Started to learn the language. I never meet such cultured and intelligent people. Communism had one good point, at least at the end. You cannot imagine how the culture is rich and profoundly beautiful in Eastern Europe. I don’t know if it’s because of all the suffering and all the chaos. Eastern europeans ladies have soul and so much courage. Yeah I know what I am talking about.

  78. @frances …JSMineset does not consider gold a currency: “No currency will sustain buying power, none.”

He means : “No Fiat currency will sustain buying power, none.”

    Of course he is right.
Gold is not a currency .. but a good basis for all currency systems.
It is a “Real Asset” that can be and is used as a medium of exchange because it is suitable as such, i.e. small and transportable … and cannot be counterfeited or “printed” as in Fiat’s case.

In Gold We Trust .. not in the Govt.’s counterfeiting press !

  79. @SG

  81. @Youri. hahaha. your fucking taking my job. fuck too much hahahha. :-)

  82. @Marc … “You cannot imagine how the culture is rich and profoundly beautiful in Eastern Europe.”

    Agreed 100%

I have friends that are Chzechs, Poles, Hungarians, Romanians, Bulgarians, Russians , Bosnians, Serbs , Afghans and even from Transylvania . Many are far deeper thinking people that some if not many of those that one meets in the West. What an interesting world it is .. one must travel of course !

Strangely, the Germans regard the Poles much like the English do the Irish ( Catholicism I expect ). Generally, I find the Poles have a great sense of humour and are very “street wise” and quick witted . They are IMO generally hard workers as well .

A German joke goes like this :

    Polish Tourism Advert :
    “Come and visit Poland …
… your car is already here ”

If you have read his other articles, it’s obvious !

We used to have a little cabin there just near the mountain and on foot hills just not far from the hotel Orford. It’s not as nice as 25 years ago. Too much real estate speculation today in Magog and Orford. You have to go in Abitibi Temicamingue to have some real peace and real wilderness today. I’m thinking of buying a dirt cheap little forest and farmland. No other place like Abitibi Témiscamingue. You can buy yourself a private forest 2 km wide for 250,000$.
And the lakes and the fishing ! It’s a problem with people today. They hate the North. I love it. It’s the future Stacy, specially witj the global warming. CaN’t wait to move to Abitibi or Siberia.

  100. @Phil:
Is there some movement to price assets in gold/units except in obsure remote regions? Goldbugs should get GATA or somebody to seriously consider this and soon. Buying power is only related to currency at this point: right?

  101. And there I was, sitting with my grandmother listening to the truth about markets New Zealand. It is the best of shows I told her, the finest financial news and analysis I told her, the soundest economic view points in the world today, off course I had to talk her into listening to this and that took months of doing. I poured my heart into convincing my grandmother to give the show a go, finally the day came.
. . . now my grandmother thinks ejaculation is a financial tool for bribery, a quick discharge of cash into someone’s pocket and small breast are economic slang for low on cash (I had to say something . . . ) and she couldn’t wait to tell her friends from church on Sunday about what she had learned from max and stacy…

It’s game over for Switzerland. I concur with Max on that. Besides that what has Switzerland to offer anyways ? NOTHING. Canada, Québec and Russia have something to offer. Switzerland is game over. I really think so. Buying roubles is not that a crazy idea after all.

  104. Other than everyone wondering when the crash of the economy will occur. The next big question is when will max and stacy have thier first kid.

  105. palintiri, good one. financial jargone is so out there nowadays.

  106. @frances … “Buying power is only related to currency at this point: right?”

    BTW … RP understands 100%.

The price of anything at the moment is a pure illusion.
Whether it is stocks, bonds , food, oil , gold , silver etc. etc.

The corrupt fiat system ( as RP just said .. the Govt. counterfeiting money ad infinitum ) makes nonsense of any paper (fiat) currency.

The pricing of stocks on WS is basically Govt. (FED) controlled .
The pricing of Bonds is basically Govt. (FED) controlled .

When the pigeons come home to roost, we hit ground-zero.
i.e. anything “paper” will become worthless.

Only “real physical assets” will have any meaning at all.
.. whether it’s energy, land ,food or gold !

  107. Having kids is not diffiucult. Raising them is the CHALLENGE. To have or not to have is the question. That’s the problem with two intelligent people. They don’t make a lot of babies. Which leaves a real big worldwide deficit of intelligent babies and humans.

  108. Switzerland has Novartis/WHO to help bring in revenue. The diversification into sdr/reserve system will be nice pocket change as well. The banks with sdr/unit account are running the governments: it’s called the G20, Marc.

Switzerland and Germany lie at the heart of the system’s profit potential.

  109. @Phil:
    Thanks!

Isn’t it true that one fiat going down forces the other up within the dollar/value index basket? The sdr will retain value as unit of account: the bankers at sdr/level can implode with impunity according to design.

  110. Pension plans ? You won’t have that problem real soon Snoot. It’s quite clear that the agenda is to eliminate any possiblity of retiring until you die. It’s part of the plan. The real pillaging and raping with the ultra low interest rates started first in the pension plans and yes it was absolutely intentionnal. People working for their pension plans are naive. They intend destroying everything. Welcome to the Vietnam pension plans.

  111. @Marc ..”It’s game over for Switzerland. ”

No more Chocolate or Swiss Watches ?
    ;-)

The strength of the Swiss Economy has always been their banking system secrecy and gold standard.
They made an important mistake when UBS decided to venture out to compete in the “Global World” and threw away their “gold standard” Ratings ( principles ) to play in the fiat currency arena !
It didn’t take long until they were taken to the cleaners .

BTW, Zurich has supposedly thousands of tons of Gold in storage … but I expect it belongs to somebody else now !

There was a good documentary on this on German TV a few months ago.

    PS:
I have a book that talks about the experiences of “travellers” throughout the world in the 19th. century.
On Switzerland, they mentioned that a “tourist” travelling through their country was considered “free game”, and was normally robbed of everything including the shirt on his back.
No wonder it became the secret banking centre of the world !
    ;-)

  112. Russia is a criminal enterprise along with Canada and the US, Marc. They all function under the G20 criminality.

    Interpol now has diplomatic immunity:

    http://www.infowars.com/obama-extends-diplomatic-immunity-to-interpol-by-executive-order/

The ‘public international organizations’ mentioned in the article are the G20 banks.

  113. That’s the problem with two intelligent people. They don’t make a lot of babies.

    Eugenics 101, Marc?

  114. And who has no debts and a lot of this physical stuff ? Switzerland ? UK ? Yes Russia. I know. It seems crazy. Ok. Don’t like Russia ? Try Canada or Australia. No place to hide it seems more and more. About the physical stuff. A couple of nuclear bombs comes also real handy. Physical stuff indeed and a way to protect it. Russia.

  115. Max needs to lay off the bongs until after the show, otherwise during it he talks too much about sex, and Stacy is getting upset….

They broadcast this on a real radio station?
Re: Inflation, deflation it will be interesting to see how much credit collapses when the passing mention about weak currencies default.

  116. The stupid genes will inherit the earth. I am no eugenist Snoot. It’s just a simple fact of life. When you are too intelligent, intelligence seems keeping interferring with having babies. It’s a fact. C’est la vie.

  117. Your premise, that intelligence is an indicator of social worth, is problematic, Marc.

  118. @Snoot
And today the “liberals” practice mass abortions on poor woman. What’s the difference ? Yeah troubling question indeed. You don’t get sterilized today but you get aborted. And most of the abortions are done on the poor, not the really rich gals. Intelligent people have problems with babies because they know the huge responsabilities. Stupid people just do it and that’s it.

  119. Social worth ? No. Not really. I just a constatation. Intelligent people, or more educated people. have less children. I didn’t say they have more social worth or less social worth. Intelligence is highly overrated. Sometimes I envy stupid people. They are more happy than me Snoot. I am sure you intelligent cat that you know the feeling ?

  123. It’s a pity Darwin didn’t concentrate on sociopathy and narcissism within the ruling classes instead

  124. I see marc’s point. Thought the same for quite a while now. Alot of non thinkers had alot of children of late. While the thinking thinking folks realized its better to have none or one or not many. So were stuck with a population of basically non thinkers. Or rationalizers. Alot of grunting folks that can only think of one think. Breed and eat. And thats where were at now.

Someone should have mentioned this problem like 60 years ago. Now its totally out of control.

  125. My sister lives in the country. She has four cats and two dogs. Perfect harmony. They sleep and play to together without any problems. Love dogs. Mostly underdogs and bastards. 126. @jon

Thanks. It”s exactly what I wanted to explain. I was saying it half jokingly contrary to Darwin, who him, was dead serious. Snoot took me seriously. It’s not the case. Intelligent people are usually quite stupid most of the time. Life is a paradox. It’s like a Zen haiku. Snoot ? Wouf ! Wouf ! I don’t bite.

If you want some gold standard future countries, bet on Russia. Canada and Australia. Switzerland is a hole and no mines. I have even less respect for the pricks from Zurich, these bastards crooks that the people from the UK. Nazis collaborators. That what I think about the Swiss. They can to hell and roast. It’s not a country in reality, it’s a convenient racket.

  129. @Phil Germany.
You just have to read UBS annual report that cesspool, to know that Switzerland is finito. The currency is an EXCELLENT short candidate.

I do accept your pessimism Ggees. If Iceland is capable of creating all this action, imagine what will happen when a large country like the USA with 150 millions arm’s owner (or Cesna plane ?) decides that It’s enough. Obanana put up its fascist neo-nazi state quickly. Because I really think that we will see much more desparate and revolted people like Joe Stack. Anyways it wasn’t a false flag attack. The media is practising a blakout on the story. God forbid effectively if people ever start a revolt against Goldman Sachs, banksters and the unconstitutionnal scumbags from the IRS. Can you imagine the impact ? People burning their foreclosed houses. People slamming in the banks or the IRS offices. The Pentagon will to be repatriated from Irak and Afghanistan to kick the asses of the civilian US slave labor. That’s the way it will end.

You know why the pulled Joe stacks case from the MSM?

Normaly when it’s a real attack they don’t milk it in the media but I think they miscalculated the whole thing. It blew up in their face.

    1) He became a martyr for a lot of people agreeing with his thoughts on the IRS

    2) It became a good opportunity to talk about the IRS in social conversation.

    3) It became a good opportunity to talk about False Flag operations and 911 in connection.

That’s why the pulled the story early from the MSM talking points.

  140. @Youri
It’s a feeling. Because the media is completely NOW mumm about it. No media over exposure. If it was a false flag attack, you hear about Joe Stack 24/24 7 days per week. They have burried the story at the speed of light. It’s an indication that they do not want to talk of the story, specially with the IRS and the rage brewing in most ordinary Americans. Americans are starting to wake up. And this story let’s say is not real good propaganda material for Washington. Maybe it was a false flag attack but it totally flopped and had the contrary effect ? It’s possible.

  141. youri, yep, joe stack was getting percieved as every man. And the evil irs and goverment were screwing him over. NOt a good thing for the govenrment to keep rehashing over. Better to go onto TIger woods trying to get out of paying a half billion to his wife for over husbandry.

Boy can you imagine the social climate.

Personally I think tiger should have never gotten married. IF he wanted to mess around that would have been fine. But him being married it looks bad. Tiger now is just a merchandising tool for big corps. . Gotta have an image to sell to the stupid public and all.

  151. marc authier, I sure wish the usa government would cut the government back 30% as well. Those folks don’t do anything anyway. The only reason they’re hired is to keep them off the streets.

Which is why they should have used the money given to the big banks straight to the average american family. i think at last count it would have been over a million dollars for every taxpaying family. Which would have allowed millions to spend greatly and create a thriving economy.

But they gave the trillions to the banksters. And they just buy bigger yaughts and bigger castels..

  152. Eurozone buffer ? Hummmmm ? Now that’s a new one.

MINUS 25% on 3,250,000 workers. Pouf ! Like that ! Overnight. Which proves that it’s not because you work for the government that you are safe. On the contrary. Far from it.

Says First Deficit Is Greece’s Credibility Gap

Jan. 28 (Bloomberg) — Greece’s first “deficit” is its credibility gap, Prime Minister George Papandreou said today at a panel event at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

He also said that Greece has a “great growth potential” and the government is determined to meet its European Union deficit-reduction goals. He said the euro has helped Greece, creating a “buffer” for the country.

    ==========================================================

WOW ! A buffer ? I call it a monetary prison. Icelanders would be very stupid entering in the Eurozone, specially at this time. A buffer.

MINUS 25% salary reductions OVERNIGHT for about all the greek active population. Quite a f@&$(@! buffer ! These damn politicians should shut their face instead of saying stupid things of that sort.

  153. @jon
It’s not about creatinh a thriving economy. It’s about crony capitalism. It’s about rigging the markets. It’s about feeding the pigs at the Pentagon, at the CIA and in Wall Street. The others don’t count. Jon you are redundant. So am I for these people at Goldman Sachs. Unemployment could go at 50% in the USA and Lloyd Hitler Blankfien couldn’t care a fuck. Did they care a fuck when they killed 10% of Iraki population for oil ? Nope. And they won’t care a hoot neither if the nice folks at Goldman Sachs have to kill 10% of Americans. Just doing God’s work. All these government workers is also a warning to us. Countries stop working when everybody works for government. Right on that. Facism and socialism leads to statism and statism kills as surely the real economy as Goldman SS-achs does.
Don’t forget who is in charge of the mess in Greece ? The politicians and their partners; Goldman Sachs.

  167. Also suspicious

The blaze at the house was reported at 9:18 a.m., and the crash occurred at 9:56 a.m., 16 minutes after his takeoff from the Georgetown Municipal Airport. The airport is about 20 miles from his home. http://www.statesman.com/news/local/officials-few-details-available-on-plane-crash-257820.html

Georgetown is located about 25 miles north of the crash site so it takes 6 Minutes to fly the plane from the hangar to the IRS Building. According to the info above 16 minutes.

I know the info is kinda confusion but following this info and assuming he set the house on fire it’s 38 minutes from the house blaze to the crash.

So he had 38 – 16= 20 minutes or 38 – 6= 32 minutes to get to the airport after setting the house on fire. Rather short time frame all together with the traffic at that time I think.

How did they know btw that he took of the Airport 16 minutes before?

He allegedly took some chairs out of the plain to replace them by some fuel tanks ore somtin but this would be impossible in both time frames I think?

There is also a story about his wife checking on the hangar which suppose to be before 10:00 a.m. ?

    (btw for numerologists 9:56 a.m.->5+6 = 11 -> 9.11)

They were even talking on the MSM that he had a remote control to blaze his house? Info is still a bit confusing about the facts and who said what but his daughter testimony stands.

Eventually there will prove to be a vital flaw in the police state enabling information technology: The nerd. No, not the technocrate that thinks he gets computers because he/she has a laptop, but the ones that know what goes on inside. For fear of them I think we already see information gathering on who they are.

    Atari Mega-ST4 with a 10MB RAM extension + SCSI-Port and VGA-Adapter

    #2
Self developed MC68040 PC-Motherboard with 16MB + SCSI + VME + ISA + Atari-Laserprinter Quartz , own ported OS on-board in EPROM (Permanent Flash) .. boot time ca. 2 seconds ! ( the guy that designed it for me did it from scratch in 3 months – worked immediately )

Motorola Assembler is The Assembler … a thing of beauty !

In those days, IBM was using the 68020′s in their EXPENSIVE mid-range machines, which is why they chose the crippled X86 for PCs !
    VERY SAD DAY !

  185. ROFL Good ya went

  186. @Phil /Germany, California Doctor here seems to be an expert on Armstrong. Thanks for the tip about ScribD.

‘The paper “Looking Behind the Curtain”, Published by Armstrong on April 9 2009, details purported events connecting Goldman Sachs to U.S. government manipulation of financial markets.’

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_A._Armstrong#Writing_in_Prison

He and Max should have quite a bit to talk about. And if they won’t let him have a Webcam in prison, he can be a guest on On the Edge.

It’s hard to believe the Atari was the best home computer up until as recently as the mid-90′s. it was particularly well suited to working with MIDI. There are a number of excellent music composition programs in use still in use , or Atari emulators mostly. And games. I think continued development of the OS is a worthwhile project if only for the prospect of creating the ultimate music workstation OS.

‘Despite the lack of a hardware supplier, there is a small active community dedicated to keeping the ST platform alive. There have been advancements in the operating system, software emulators (for Windows, Mac & Linux), and some hardware developments. There are accelerator cards, such as the CT60 & CT63, which is a 68060 based accelerator card for the Falcon, and there is the Atari Coldfire Project, which aims at developing an Atari-clone based on the Coldfire processor. Milan Computer of Germany also made 68040 and 68060-based Atari clones that can run either Atari TOS 4.5 or Milan Computer’s MultiOS operating system.’

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_ST#Aftermath

It’s worth having an emulator at least if only to play a number of games, such as Sundog. There are also some Traveler games I particularly liked.

The OS was never marketed in the US, for some reason, but I bought a used one in Chicago, by chance. I think it was from Canada originally, where the OS was marketed, oddly. Too bad the OS fell victim to a misguided corporate strategy. It was the superior product, though most Americans never knew about it.

  187. @Phil /Germany

“Even today some people (such as Fatboy Slim) are still using the Atari ST for composing music.”

  188. @Max — I grew up in Christchurch, NZ, and frankly am embarrassed to be associated with your recent outburst. Seems there’s a fine line between brilliant and obnoxious. Please apologize online to Stacy! Naaa… who cares…

  189. @Phil/Germany — I too have happy memories of Atari… ST something. I programmed a MIDI piano score writer and controlled the playback speed and dynamics with the mouse. Written with a cool German-produced BASIC program.

  190. Vv funny! Am always curious how they are going to implement such screening measures, how many inches constitutes a girls breast vs a mature woman’s breast. And the discussions involved at reaching a conclusion … Anyway, Max, I as a listener am very happy for Stacey to add more info or a different angle to your condensed statements. Stop the stupid irritation, she is a brilliant woman.

  191. Hey Stacy, what can I say. It’s the male brain – any coincidence that all the banksters are men:)
Anyway, we’ve decided to move back to the Great White North even though the weather sucks and a couple of our relatives drive us up the f’n wall. You and Max briefly talked about Canada but I haven’t heard much about Canada’s future in the sites that I have visited. Has anyone read or heard anything and if you have are we getting flushed down the pooper with the rest of y’all?
And thanks Max, Stacy and fellow posters for keeping it real with some belly laughs along the way…….

  192. IMO,

Max is an economic Rainman, a genius on economic wall street issues but completely detached from reality on some issues and social discourse.

Just as a young Soros collaborated with the Nazis to confiscate property, Junior Max collaborated with the Fabian Socialist to destroy Hockey and emasculate males. A subset of an incremental elitist scheme of control.

  193. WL – Is that English?

  194. Canadian Viewer

    Hi five Max!
    I loved the levity of today’s dialogue & @ ejaculation markets:P

  195. Max is a pretty wild beast and I guess, that’s what makes Stacy laugh out so proudly of him, each time Max is hammering any entity rushing trough his thoughts. I tend to believe she quite likes his openness on sexual issues.
Since I follow your site I always thought, you’re the hottest couple there is.
By the way: refering to the bibel as porn, sex sure is another way of doing gods work, only with a different outcome than Blankfine’s.
It sounds to me though, that Stacy doensn’t like to share his sexual ideas with the public too much, or is her willingness to indicate shame in the tone of her voice, heating her up even more so? Partial subordination can do that, right?

  196. @Max&Stacy

Thanks for another extremely entertaining 1/2 hour. I can’t help but wonder what would happen if CNBC put you on for a weekly 1/2 hour. The Max&Stacy Arsonist Review or something. Their ratings would skyrocket.

  197. Hey Max , a few things. 1. You mention Ralph Nader getting his start with the Ford Pinto. This is wrong! It was the Chevy Corvair and his 1965 book “Unsafe at any Speed” . The Pinto (A.K.A. Ford Flambay) came out in 1971 and Im sure Ralph had a lot to say about it at the time. Ford tried to compete with the Chevy VEGA.
    2. The other thing, on you Truth About Markets New Zealand you were going to say something about the Deadliest Catch and you never did.
