Stacy Summary: Unfortunately, this finding will no doubt draw even more attention and energy to the $20 million in federal contracts in total this group has received over more than 20 years; meanwhile, by the time you finish reading this blog entry, $20 million will have been stolen by some private military contractor. If you can find any co-ordinated group outrage at this morning’s $20 million theft from the taxpayer by private military contractors, please do post link below.

@Y’All
On The One!!!
ACORN actually believes in hope and change, and were suckered by Obama, just like Max and Stacey was.

@William of the North – so because you hate ACORN for believing in Obama, you are all for overturning the Constitution and the rule of law so that you can punish one group you don’t like? I’m sorry, but I really think this is why there is fascism in the US because the country is divided into two sides of the Team in which trashing the Constitution is okay as long as it is the other side’s team getting squashed by it; the US is supposed to be a Republic that was designed to avoid this sort of abusive practice found in a Democracy where 51% take away the rights of the other 49%
Here is an interview with Grayson about this topic for anyone who wants to ponder the issue more: http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/radio/2009/09/23/grayson/
“but I really think this is why there is fascism in the US because the country is divided into two sides of the Team in which trashing the Constitution is okay as long as it is the other side’s team getting squashed by it”
The interesting inclusion of the fasces in symbolism of the international Bretton Woods Institutions indicates from whence the governing principal was introduced in America. We are referring here to currency flows through government sanctions: aka Keynesian economics. Acorn is a recipient of stimulus money which money is used to forward the agenda of offshore banking interests. How do we know this? Because Obamanomics is at the rotten core of acorn:

Gold is the ‘bridge to nowhere’.
Acorn is a government-sponsored non-governmental organization: the organization was used by the trainers of Obama to get the man in office. It falls not far from the tree which bears worm-laden fruit.

Lets be clear hear, this is strictly a one way bashing .
It is always led by the GOP and their power base.
ACORN is trivially small compared with the powers aligned against it.
Obama’s in office because of white, middle class golf club punks who liked the idea of voting for Tiger Woods. This was the key demographic, including those with their hands on the voting machines and their outcomes.
Gordo – exactly and I’m sure ACORN is responsible for getting all these people out: http://guitarbassman.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/obama-decemberists-rally-or.jpg
There are far, far more powerful organizations at work for whom zero people voted for or believed in; and the fact is that many TRILLIONS of dollars have been stolen in the past 18 months and distracting ourselves with concern for a puny little organization must be the height of absurdity.

If you don’t want to talk about Acorn, Stacey, why include it as a topic header? Is this forum a place to say yes, yes, and yes only?
@maxkeiser:
http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/the-complete-guide-to-acorn-voter-fraud/
@snoot – totally laughing my ass off . . . read the whole headline . . . thanks for proving my point . . . and thanks for the laugh
ps – you can talk all you want about ACORN; I just think it’s like arguing with your brother or sister over who ate the last piece of pie while letting some burglar steal the entire contents of your home
@snoot – in the pajamamedias link, it states that a couple dozen voter registration canvassers were charged with election fraud; presumably at least the legal system has investigated and done its job and ACORN is unable to hide behind a cloak of ‘corporate confidentiality;’ many of the cases turned out to be people who registered, “Mickey Mouse” and other such names who obviously would not have been able to show I.D. at the poll; nevertheless, where is the concern and outrage for the Miracle 51% Voting Machine fraud in which it is 100% impossible to deliver this sort of justice . . . unless politicians are willing to overturn ‘corporate confidentiality’
The whole idea was to give capital to everyone in great quantities through debt issuance irregardless of the ability of the recipient to pay off that debt. If anyone argued, they were deemed racist or GOP. Then when the ‘house of cards’ begins to sway, one may deign capital as debt as criminal and begin the process of eliminating access to capital to the entire middle class and the poor. Without any access to capital and with a neutered currency (one not linked to global trade) the people are easily controlled.

Daily Mail on Obama voter demographic:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1083335/Breakdown-demographics-reveals-black-voters-swept-Obama-White-House.html
“41% of white males voted for Obama, making him the first Democrat since Jimmy Carter to take more than 38% in this category.”
Yeah, ACORN is huge in the white male community.
So we should be selectively outraged now? Stacy we should be outraged at Acorn and all governmental waste or corruption. Your headline comes across as an attempt to diminish the outrage at Acorn’s actions.
Max, right on concerning the Tiger Woods comments but I remember reading the demographics of how the vote fell and I seem to remember that the only distinguishable change in the vote was an increase in the percentage of minority voters, particularly Blacks seconded by Hispanics, that showed up to vote. Obama’s win over McCain was attributed to this increase. This is what I recall. Believe I read it at Politico.
The article states that Obama won 43% of the overall white vote and credited this as winning him the election compared to 2004 (when Kerry won just 40% of it) and the article also cites young voters role:
But there you go, of course, here we are talking about a dinky organization while the US sinks under trillion dollar fraud. Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to work we go.
Anyone want to talk about Palin? Or American Idol? Step right up!
@Guinny Ire – uh, the article says that a Judge reviewed the UNEDITED tape and found no criminal behavior; I’m asking where are the judges looking at the trillions of dollars stolen; and the many millions being stolen right now today
The inconvenient truth is that Acorn is hiding intention behind rhetoric. Demographics show that Obama was elected by black women voters. These same women are duped by Acorn into believing that Obama cares diddly about their families and their futures. I’m sure we both agree, Stacey, that Obama does not.
“95% of black voters went to the ballot for Obama and only 4% for McCain.
Obama has succeeded in mobilising African-American voters who, although strongly Democratic, have in the past been apathetic in turning out to vote.
Yesterday’s surge in black voters, however, only boosted black turnout by two percentage points from 11% to 13%.
As in previous years, more black women turned out than men.”
@snoot – the article you provide shows he won because he won more white votes than any democratic candidate since Carter . . . so you have to also address them being ‘duped’ by ACORN . . . in terms of black women, you are neglecting to mention or examine the fact that women were highly engaged in this election due to Hillary Clinton; 4 out of 5 of my family in CT are middle aged and older white women and they each became interested in the election because of Hillary; they were all upset that she did not win the nomination, but when she didn’t win, they voted for Obama; (and don’t jump on my back for that, every one in my dad’s family voted for McCain, so it evened out the awfulness);
What do you have to say about the record number of voters registering for Democrats but also voting in the Democratic primaries? It was obviously a far more engaged Team than the Red Team.
And when it changes for 2010 as the Blue Team are obviously not in the outraged opposition position now; well keep your eye out for all that puny ACORN group out there
Now, let’s start talking about American Idol.
Who do you think will win that?
“But there you go, of course, here we are talking about a dinky organization while the US sinks under trillion dollar fraud. Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to work we go.”
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121745181676698197.html
http://www.consumersrightsleague.org/UploadedFiles/ACORN_AHC_Report.pdf
Raise your hand in the comments to anyone more interested in ACORN than in banker fraud; AIG continuing bailouts, Treasury transfers to a small group of people; Blackwater and Halliburton’s transfer of billions in suitcases via Dubai . . .
@snoot – more votes were stolen by Diebold voting machines for the Red Team in 2008 than they stole in 2004; but if you are a Red Team member you won’t care; just keep focusing on ACORN which has now been cleared by a court of law of any criminal act . . . I take it that you don’t care about one sort of voting fraud; I believe all should be investigated whoever does it for whatever team even if it is the team that I don’t support; red team member, state AG David Iglesias, was fired for refusing to back Karl Rove’s attempts to suppress the registration of minority voters and Karl Rove’s propaganda that there was widespread voter fraud uniquely by black and brown people; Rove’s propaganda campaign has been hugely successful at distracting people from the unknowable fraud by Miracle Voting Machines and turning them toward humans who can be demonized more easily
@Stacey:
I don’t own a television. I wonder you have time to worry about American Idol. I’m sure you might find some other ‘commenteurs’ willing to ‘have a go’ discussing the engaging final show.
Deciding on the ‘key demographic’ is a matter of perspective. I was relating the overall hypocrisy of the Acorn message as it relates to Obama’s form of Keynesian economics which does not benefit the poor.
ACORN is a non-issue in elections.
The elections are really stolen by the laws that effectively enforce the two-party/two-corporation (DNC/RNC) voting choices. You only get to choose between the already vetted candidates, so the election is stolen before you’ve even voted.
Taking my views concerning Acorn and running them to the red-team goal post serves to sideline the arguments concerning Acorn in a bid to paint me red.
I’m not red, though I do have American indigenous ancestors.
@Tsar Caustic – exactly! but clearly a lot of people like to perpetuate the two team myth and stories like ACORN help perpetuate that myth because it makes the Red Team outraged that black people stole the election from Palin; and the story has to disregard the fact that white people voted the most in more than 30 years for a Democratic president because that doesn’t play on the two team outrage propaganda as much; and so, alas, we have the two team system . . . and only the players on the two teams are really on the same team against the fans
Speaking of teams, I’d say that ACORN was definately on the Team ‘Voter Fraud’. The fraud ran in two dimensions: the lies told the idealistic workers and voters concerning Obama’s agenda and the actually accidents that occurred within the ACORN functionary during the voter registration.
ACORN is a pet project of Obama. That alone is rather telling.
@snoot – so you admit that you only care about a group that operates in the light of day, whose members can be videotaped and photographed and investigated for voter fraud; but you do not care about electronic voting machines, every one owned and operated by a Red Team operative whose algorithms are not open to oversight by anyone, not the dept of justice, not any Congressperson and not the Constitution; and whose CEO promised to ‘deliver Ohio to Bush’ in 2004 . . . real nice. The system counts on you.
This is really all I have to say on the subject. But thanks for enlightening us.

No. I am trying to stay on topic. If you want to talk about voting machines, shouldn’t we go to a ‘jibber/jabber’ thread? I am sorry for my inconsistency in the past; and I do declare that I oppose all fraud whatever color or denomination it chooses to cozy up to.
@snoot – on topic would be concern about the military industrial complex fraud on a massive empire depleting level . . . are you seriously not concerned about that? I find that shocking
and by the way, thanks for further confirming my headline thesis in all your links which each demonstrates that poor black people voter registration groups are subject to the full force of the law and the full force of the fourth estate; justice will always be done to those who try to break the law in this situation and I feel sorry for anyone dumb enough to engage in any such blatant attempt at voter registration fraud; electronic voting machines leave no trace, offer no transparency and operate under the cloak of court protected secrecy . . . you tell me which is the graver threat to a Republic?
What Republic?
what ever is left of acorn – will be getting a big fat check from MKC this year.
We are serving Bretton Woods banks and different compelling interests servicing the future world system to which the US will have become a misnomer.
I take offense to Acorn in there very putrid use of poor people of color to further these goals.
Obama did not gain office to help raise the heads of the poor but only to further the pressure of the boot upon their persons.
I’m sure I find both ‘red’ and ‘blue’ equally disenfranchising an influence on the human spirit.
@Stacy
What do have in it to defend ACORN. You keep using false comparisons. Of course military contractors are corrupt but so is ACORN, founded by Wade Rathke, an elite white left radical. A member of SDS.
ACORN is set to receive 8.5 BILLION taxpayer money, they also got payoffs from banks and other businesses via extortion. Also, they use affiliate organizations to funnel and move around money. 20 million is the official direct money, but they get much more than that.
They extort payments from banks and other businesses using harassing tactics. They are a shakedown mafia.
With all due respect Stacy, you have no understanding regarding ACORN.
http://biggovernment.com/amoncrief/2009/09/27/acorn-and-seiu-anatomy-of-a-shakedown/
I think Stacy proved her point in the standoff between Stacyherbert vs. frances snoot in the comment section that ACORN is a diversion from the bigger picture of “massive proven military industrial contractor fraud”.

Winter 2000
The Trillion-Dollar Bank Shakedown That Bodes Ill for Cities
The Clinton administration has turned the Community Reinvestment Act, a once-obscure and lightly enforced banking regulation law, into one of the most powerful mandates shaping American cities—and, as Senate Banking Committee chairman Phil Gramm memorably put it, a vast extortion scheme against the nation’s banks. Under its provisions, U.S. banks have committed nearly $1 trillion for inner-city and low-income mortgages and real estate development projects, most of it funneled through a nationwide network of left-wing community groups, intent, in some cases, on teaching their low-income clients that the financial system is their enemy and, implicitly, that government, rather than their own striving, is the key to their well-being.

@frances snoot – “So fraud is not fraud when it is a diversion for fraud?”
a pocket thief steeling few pennies is still a thief (and should be dealt with) but on a scale with bankers steeling Milliards, that little thief isn’t worthy of mass attention in comparison to the tiny, almost non-existing attention grand Milliard banker thefts should get.
@Palantíri
What if the little thief is working for the big thief? What if the little thief is the handmaiden of the Chief Thief?
What if people are coerced into following the Big Thief Chief through the handmaiden’s seductive qualities?
What IF the money of the people is siphoned from the people to the handmaiden who is working for the Big Thief Chief against the best interests of the people.
If we can’t reach the BTC (big thief chief) we can surely castrate his handmaidens.

“private{ Rothschild } controlled central banks are more dangerous than standing armies” – Thomas Jefferson”
the power to control and issue money must be given back to WE THE PEOPLE TO WHICH IT RIGHTLY BELONGS – Thomas Jefferson [not private central banksters!]
Ellen Brown’s “CAMPAIGN FOR STATE BANKS”{ WEBOFDEBT.COM }
time to END THE FED and big government..Ron Paul bill HR 1207 to audit the fed will do nothing,as the federal reserve lawyers will cook the books and make everything look just dandy..a waste of time..in fact, I would bet the fed lawyers are fudging the books right now ..the fed must be ABOLISHED,and it can be done w/o nary a bill to get rid of it..with this new state banking money system,the fed will die on its own accord..state run banks with “honest” money ARE the solution..a new interest free paper currency issued in each of the 50 states possibly backed by silver,[NO GOLD]..we had our money backed by gold in 1929 and the 1930’s..did it stop the great depression? NO!..although gold would still retain a value 16 times greater than silver per the constitution,with each state making their own $1,$5,$10,$20,$50,and $100 paper notes backed by silver[ex: $20 Texas silver note..under that "payable to the bearer on demand $20 in silver [when presented at any state bank,you would receive either $20 worth of 90% silver coin, 20-.999 silver dollars,4 - 5 oz. .999 silver bars,or 2 -10 oz, .999 silver bars],and all 50 state paper notes would be accepted in every state and abroad..having 50 different notes for the 50 sovereign states would make it extremely difficult for the banksters to take back control of the U.S. money system again.. a dollar would be 31.1 grams of silver[ONE OUNCE] as per the constitution..change for the new paper notes would be pre-1965 90% silver again[only 90% silver with 10% copper is hard enough to take the day to day pounding/ movement/exchanging and hold up],and 100% copper again for pennies..a state run honest money/banking system with interest free loans run by the people.. for the people.. there would be only a small administrative fee/ cost, to borrow money to pay state bank employees and mgrs. etc.
EX: you[or a small business starting up lets say ]were to borrow $205,000 for a $200,000 house/loan,you would pay back $205,000 over the next 5,10,or 15 years,instead of the present parasitic fractional reserve banking system where you would buy a $200,000 house[or a $200,000 loan] and you would pay the private parasitic fractional reserve banksters nearly $1,000,000 over 30 or 40 or even 50 years!..THIS IS INSANITY!
IS IT ANY WONDER MANY OF US ARE DEAD BROKE AND IN DEBT?
and living paycheck to paycheck?
it just doesn’t have to be this way!
state controlled banks with “honest” money, will bring back manufacturing and real jobs!
a nation that is prosperous MUST produce goods folks!
3rd world countries don’t produce goods!
the U.S.A.. IS in fact a 3rd world country now!
a petition page will soon be up at WEB OF DEBT.COM
where you can sign it and DEMAND your state
implement state run banks! [unless you live in N.Dakota that already has state banks]
..BANKS AND “OUR” MONEY CONTROLLED BY WE THE PEOPLE..
talk about PROSPARITY RETURNING TO AMERICA..
imagine paying $500-$1,000 for a new car again..
of course a new state bank silver dollar will have the purchasing power of a 1913 dollar..but we can start all over again as a nation,
and bring ALL the troops home from abroad and have them protect OUR BORDERS! with 50 new sovereign state banks this country can be turned around in days
not months or years, but DAYS!
@frances snoot – You provide even more question-arguments for going after the Big Fish/Chief so I end this all. A full circle.
Yes. But I’m consistent. I don’t want to take out some bankers because that would make the Bretton Woods guys more powerful. I think the competition at that level is all that slows them down. The regulations being undertaken in finance only consolidate interest in the sovereign banks.
Anyway: it’s just my perspective.

To add it all up from Sept 10th, 2001 onward would require supercomputers and all the staff laid off at Anderson after the Enron collapse.
Let me elaborate with an example, you draw your own conclusions.
This contract came out today
Crowley Liner Services, Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., has been awarded a sole-source letter contract to obtain emergency port related services in Haiti. The contract has a not-to-exceed amount of $22,000,000. The contract is for services required to restore cargo delivery capability and support Haiti port operations at Port-au-Prince. Services include surveying damaged ports and beaches; establishment of beach landing operations; cargo lightering operations to establish a link between deep draft cargo vessels and beach landing facilities; warehousing; cargo consolidation; trucking; placement of docking barges with cranes to function as temporary piers and removal of various obstructions in the water, to include a large gantry crane. Work will be performed in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and the performance period is from Jan. 16, 2010, to April 15, 2010. This was a sole-source procurement executed under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. The U.S. Transportation Command, Directorate of Acquisition, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (HTC711-10-C-W001).
Here is what they said last month
http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/01/13/1423816/damage-to-haitis-main-port-complicates.html
Brickman said Crowley, which is a major shipper in the Caribbean, is in talks with the Maritime Administration, USAID and the military’s Southern Command about participating in relief efforts to Haiti. But a big question is how and where to get supplies into the island.
I guess they wanted to participate in a 22 million dollar hand out to get the rags off their boats.
