Despotism is a form of government by a single authority, either an individual or tightly knit group, which rules with absolute political power. In its classical form, a despotism is a state where one single person, called a Despot, wields all the power and authority, and everyone else is considered his slave. The term now implies tyrannical rule.

Isreal is a multiparty democracy with a parlimentary government. You should be ashamed to compare it to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, facist totalitarian islamic states.

But then you seem so reserve all your judgements for Israel, for some strange reason.

That was the last trace I heard of , sice the fossilated rumors about the Hong-Kong fakes.
I don’t know. The whole tungsten-story sucks. Why would you drill all those holes in so many tungsten-bars (and having to put up, that after that procedure, with all bars lost their original wheight)? Why didn’t we hear anything, at least about them being shipped back, to where they came from to get swapped for real ones?
Would you keep a delivered bycicle after having ordered and payed for a car?
And the pro7 Dok: If you’d make a doc about such a hot topic, would you spend 95% of your airtime, showing nothing and only about 5 seconds to show the fake-bar it is all supposed to be about, from a distance you couldn’t even destinguish it, from a LEGO-bar? No verbal or optical description of the size of the tungsten-core at all???
These reports seem to me more fake, than the tungsten-fake.
It’s not, that I don’t consider the tungsten-stuff somehow real and disturbing. But the news about it, we have been delivered till today, serve more to make the bugs feel uneasy and not uncovering anything substancial.

2] – reports of 400 oz. “good delivery” bricks of gold found gutted and filled with tungsten within the confines of LBMA approved vaults in Hong Kong.

Why Tungsten?

If anyone were contemplating creating “fake” gold bars, tungsten [at roughly $10 per pound] would be the metal of choice since it has the exact same density as gold making a fake bar salted with tungsten indistinguishable from a solid gold bar by simply weighing it.

Unfortunately, there are now more sordid details to report.

When the news of tungsten “salted” gold bars in Hong Kong first surfaced, many people

who I am acquainted with automatically assumed that these bars were manufactured in

China – because China is generally viewed as “the knock-off capital of the world”.

Here’s what I now understand really happened:

The amount of “salted tungsten” gold bars in question was allegedly between 5,600 and 5,700 – 400 oz – good delivery bars [roughly 60 metric tonnes].

This was apparently all highly orchestrated by an extremely well financed criminal operation.

Within mere hours of this scam being identified – Chinese officials had many of the perpetrators in custody.

And here’s what the Chinese allegedly uncovered:

Roughly 15 years ago – during the Clinton Administration [think Robert Rubin, Sir Alan Greenspan and Lawrence Summers] – between 1.3 and 1.5 million 400 oz tungsten blanks were allegedly manufactured by a very high-end, sophisticated refiner in the USA [more than 16 Thousand metric tonnes]. Subsequently, 640,000 of these tungsten blanks received their gold plating and WERE shipped to Ft. Knox and remain there to this day. I know folks who have copies of the original shipping docs with dates and exact weights of “tungsten” bars shipped to Ft. Knox.”

Terror is a political fashion or a following stage of democracy, turning the latter into terrocracy.

The more we can defeat natures threats against human kind, the less “natural” externalities amalgame human society.
But such common goals seemed to be the historical root-ground for democracies to emerge in the first place.
The lack of commonly shared goals in a highly (technically and socially) individualized society leads to either starvation of demcracy or artificial reflation of these very grounds to democracy by the ones formerly elected. The most effective invention to achieve this, was TERROR.
Your neo-feudal vision for our future is just the endshape this recent transition.

Olf fashioned banks were more sort of modern confession-rooms in old democracies, to discipline the individual businesses/citizens/voters, never to forget the so far commonly shared goals of shelter against external natural theats (be it climate or rivalities among neighbours, etc.).
The big banks of todays world seem to have adapted their strategies of survival during this change of invironnement:
From “herbivore cattle” they evolved to “carnivore predators”, trying to frontrun Terror by becoming the most succesfull gang-organized RAPIST.

The mass of humans, always clustered in some forms of societies. There had always been single individuals (and their spontaneous supporters) like plato or jesus or jeanne d’arc, who protested against predemocratic predatorial conditions. They had no other joice than PROTEST.
But only scientific successfull technology made it possible, that such individual protesters could kickstart popular revolutions (like the french) transforming into “short” periods of democratic fashions in some parts of the world.
But as I explained above, the very scientific sucecess, that made revolutions towards democracy possible, also nurturied inevitably its fall.
Democracy, not unlike fractional-reserve-banking with deptmoney and interestrates, is a selflimiting phänomenon. There is no cure, because there is no such thing as eternal growth.
