On a more serious note, I hope those downers aren’t too bad; I’ve never in my life been so freaked out emotionally about everybody around me . . . I can’t even pay too much attention to the devastation in the Gulf coast because even THOSE people and those animals feel “too close”. There’s just a constant ache and a constant worry about everybody. I don’t know if it’s “normal” in any way or not. But let me know how the farming proceeds so I know when to order some dirt from you.

Don’t know what she eventually died from after surviving the Titanic, but there’s definitely something reverent and cool about historic grave sites. I think I’ve asked this before, but is something that I can’t get my tiny brain around. Max & stacy have often said on TAM that English people have unhealthy obsessions about house prices, and maybe I am one of those obsessives, though I only have one little house and dont believe in property portfolios. If the dollar and pound crash, I assume that house prices will also crash? Is it best to sell now and rent (take the money and run)? Or is property a more solid thing to own than cash, worth holding onto in the event of GB going bust? Is it as good as gold?
