Monster printing, deficit cutting and seeing no bubbles but one

Stacy Summary: Gee, I wonder if they are as committed to their promise to halve deficits in 3 years as they were to their commitment three years ago to double aid to poor countries?

    yes..and…international trade is a trojan horse….

  3. all of a sudden everyone becomes an expert in seeing bubbles?

    1st

  4. Brandon Sanks

The whole free trade regime will come tumbling down according to Bob Chapman. I live in the Midwestern US free trade has cost this region dear in terms of towns and jobs. Micheal Moore’s movie Roger and Me told a story that needed to be told. His hometown of Flint was just crushed by the global elites.

  5. they’re stalling

they want to see if and who will pull the continued theft off

    and who will rise up

    they are gamblers
they will say what they have to say to stay afloat back home
    that’s what gamblers do

  6. Brandon Sanks

Keynesian economics must die! It is a disaster for everybody. The only good thing from this totak catastrophre will be the death of this relic theory.

  7. Creative Destruction

Gold is in a bubble. But they have just begun to inflate it. I’m gonna ride this bubble for a few more years.

  8. Creative Destruction

    @ Brandon

You would think this would be the death of Keynesian economics but it survived the Great Depression and it just might survive this depression too.

  9. Creative Destruction

Have you noticed how all G-20 countries call the G-20 meetings a success. That’s how you know that the meetings are complete failures.

  10. Why are they so gold phobic? Non renewable commodities across the board are up, why not pick on them?
Hmmm, maybe it’s because you can’t put 2 grand worth of copper in your pocket.

  11. Forget about the promises for a second, Stacy. Do you really believe making all these people living on our charity is going to solve the problem? I think that making poor countries self sustaining via FAIR TRADE is the answer. Begging is never a good option!

  12. NYTimeskrugman finally admits we’re in a depression http://nyti.ms/a6Ofkt. Better late than never, welcome to the club, Paul

NYTimesKrugman’s 3rd Depression http://nyti.ms/a6Ofkt eerily same as my New Depression bit Feb 1st http://bit.ly/axXZWI w/different policy

G20 declares that “Fiscal consolidation plans will be credible.” Guess that beats the old policy of incredible plans http://bit.ly/dasgnC

G20 Communique is 26 pages long, single-spaced http://bit.ly/dasgnC. Mentions the word #gold exactly once. It’s the 8,000 tonne gorilla

Policy types say they fear #deflation because of impact on real value of debt. What they really fear is inability to tax real income gains

Fed says #deflation hurts debtors as real value of debt goes up. But people just default, real losers are banks, that’s who Fed protects

Ambrose Evans-Pritchard repeats Bernanke spin that deflation’s bad for debtors http://bit.ly/9RuX3P. But debtors default; it’s bad 4 banks

When analysts realize that #Fed was created by banks for the purpose of bailing out banks and nothing else, things much clearer #

Problem w/ #Fed’s new super-QE is that it’s dynamically unstable. Velocity drops faster than quantity increases. People hoard, buy #gold

    New focus on Bernanke’s 2002 speech http://bit.ly/9RuX3P. He discussed deval of $ v #gold in ’34. Equals $2,190/oz gold @ today’s price

  13. @ Tamir

The people are begging for ‘mercy’. The IMF/World Bank system bankrupted them in the first place, like it has us.

It’s all doublespeak, much like your posts I might add ;-)

  14. There’s only a bubble in Politipig Bullshit…

I’m still waiting for them to promise the magical unicorn that shits gold and shoots magical rainbows from its ding-dong…

    With a free leprechaun house-servant…
One that does dishes and cleans toilets…
    and fixes shoes at night…
maybe mend holes in your underwear…

and the mystical tree that grows hamburgers and pizza…
    A 3D smell-o-vision that dispenses Nachos and Beer …

    and a flux-capacitor for my Ford Focus…
so I can travel back in time and give myself good stock picks…

    @Giuseppe Bagodonutti

The “representatives” over here like to give names to their legislation. When they passed the No Child Left Behind bill you saw education deteriorate. When they passed the Clear Skies Initiative you knew that the sky would get dirtier and uglier. Any minute now I’m expecting the Hunky Dory Amendment at which point we are all fucked.

  16. @Tamir – I didn’t say whether it was good or bad (and that applies to either the aid or the deficit cutting), I was just noting that the G8 made a huge song and dance about pledging to double aid, they have actually decreased it since that announcement . . . so noting that their pledges have a history of being bogus

  17. @Stacy,

I understand. What I don’t understand is what all the fuss is about in the media – G8, G20, whatever – these people only represent a criminal gang of oligarchs…!

  18. snoop diddy

    2008 Directive from Big Brother:
    Deficits are good,
    Spending is stimulus.

    2010 Directive from Big Brother:
    Deficits are bad,
    Austerity is stimulus.

…but who’s keeping score anyway (apart from the banksters)

What gives away the housing bubble in Australia is that they mention it at all.

  19. The G8 is a military coalition to take the oil and resouces from the G20..The rest of the countries are essentially without government.

  20. also..maxs latest anti-human rant about the economy being subject to the dictates of the “ecology” (whatever that is) and humans living in a finite world now fill the brim completely ignores (a) human ingenuity in general and (b) the likely fact we’ll end up colonising other planets in this century…but i suppose max wouldnt want to hurt the ecology of other planets, too?pffffft

  21. Re: protests in Ontario’s G20 slave farm managers’ meeting.

The slaves here are dumber than I’d hoped. They whine indirectly about what’s wrong with the muscly slaves corralling them and keep them such for hours in the rain, arresting them en mass, searching them without cause, and putting them in a concentration camp “light”.

I know rights are just words on paper, but it would help if they knew those words. Couldn’t just one of them refer to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the fact that freedom to assemble, peaceful assembly, and from undue search, seizure and detention, are RIGHTS? Just one of these people being informed is too much to ask? These aren’t maybes, sometimes, if it’s not too inconvenient, or barring an excuse like “the police had little time to make a decision and act (based on a tip they fabricated)”, they are RIGHTS.

This is the contract between the slaves and their masters and they haven’t even read it, which means the defacto contract is whatever they’re conditioned to accept and believe via media. The real contract is more cultural and economic than legal and we all know where those aspects are heading. Psyops tv shows like Family Guy have more influence than the Canadian Charter here now.

  22. I want to figure out how to print the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms on a roll of toilet paper and give it to a thug officer in Ontario. Let him get literal with it.

  23. Turn off the TV and stop reading articles cooked up by the imperial media!
Why on earth are there no honest people left writing in these newspapers.

Why do they not point out that the majority of the national debts owed by the so called developed world is owed to a small group of international bankers and that a large percentage of collected taxes simply go to pay the huge interest to them the bankers(thieves) who have simply created the money out of fresh air by clicking a key on a computer.

The developed world is supposedly broke – so WHY do the bankers who create money out of thin air think they have the ability to play GOD to the rest of us and force us to pay the usury interest on the fake money!?

I bet Max and Stacy need a holiday. I am amazed at how they keep this up on a daily basis.
    Good work folks.

  35. The only trade commitment the US government seems enamored of is the
highly profitable drug trade. Yes, the same government which maintains
the poppy fields of central asia and trained the Zetas in Mexico. Off course
this government finds endless reasons to allow the flow of drugs from Mexico and exploit the waves of illegal, impoverished mexicans who lost their land and jobs after the NAFTA agreement destroyed farming in Mexico. The present administration is as corrupt and duplicitous as the cartels that buys off american officials. The american workers are as destitute and adrift in the northern hemisphere as are the mexicans. One
never hears the voice of mexican nor north american union bosses over
the media. There is a distinct lack of anything resembling a labor perspective on jobs, the wars being fought nor anything else for that matter.
Like the Leonard Cohen some goes, ” everybody knows that the dice are
loaded, that the fix is in.” Republican, democrat, PRI or Pan, it doesn’t
matter…they all take the money. We can expect no border in Arizona to be
maintained….it will remain a cordon sanitaire for the cartels and the coyotes. All american citizens stay out !
It isn’t that the present administration lack a plan..they have a plan. Keep
the contraband moving and keep the palms of mexican and american well
greased. The war on drugs is now decades old and it is far too profitable for
the federal government to bring it to an end. Hell, all that money ? No way !
Off course the CIA can fund alot of projects in the shadows with the flow
of cash. President Kennedy was right in wanting to smash CIA into a thousand pieces after the Bay of Pigs. Intelligence service indeed, it just
missed the fall of the Soviet Union and 19 saudis and the odd egyptian or
Pakistani as they flew airliners into the World Trade Center. No need for
anyone to be ill at ease…….is there ? Of course, the recovery is just on
schedule….We americans trust our government ” by corporations and for
corporations “. It’s the best money can buy.

  36. Michael Pascoe is the author of the gold bubble article and he makes HIS point and uses Macquarie as evidence.
But Macquarie don’t really say what Michael Pascoe says.
Macquarie just hedges in its opinion, but Pascoe slags off the gold bugs.
Mass Media is like the guy from ‘Inglorious Bastards’ bashing me over the head repeatedly with a baseball bat.

I was gonna show the scene on You Tube but it is awful and may make you sick. Ouch! Headache.

  37. @Mini US – do you have any data to support your argument that we are in a BS Bubble? or that it is near peaking? full disclosure – I’m still long BS, want to know whether I should change my investment strategy yet because you know what they say about betting against bubbles, they can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent

  38. MirrorMirror

Gold price is constant this morning = flat !

Wonder of the so-called “market” is waiting for the latest PRopaganda from MSM before moving the price.

The key question – for me – is whether the NON-Western-Finance world like China, Russia, India, Asia etc. join in the fiat ponzi game or whether they really do grab the physical and then call the bluff !

I repeat , they (BRIC etc. ) may be giving lip service to the SDRs etc. , but I am dobtful that they would rally want to prolong this game.

SDRs have the big disadvantage for BRIC countries in that the power centre remains with the CB system …. silly move if they really go along with that IMO !

  39. @Stacy
When are we gonna reach ‘peak bullshit’? Thats one bubble I can’t wait to pop.

  40. MirrorMirror

    PS: SDRs etc.

My guess is that they (BRIC) will continue to pay lip service to the SDRs … while buying Gold at highly depressed prices.

I wonder if the CB guys are worried that the west may end up with ZERO gold ? …. or whether China discovers they’ve been sold Tungsten ?

  42. “G20″ meeting security costs, a new BS bubble with high potential for long term growth.

Good on the protesters, but taxpayers got robbed of 1 – 1.5 billion dollars to pay for “Gee 20″ security -?

Part of the billion plus dollars must have gone to staging some “violence drama” (a tiny fraction for two cop cars to burn, even less for some window smashing) so that media can hype and justify the insane costs -and legitimize the robbery of taxpayers – again. BS peak is decades away.

  43. @Snoop, what? making fun of me? meh who cares- people wouldnt have thought we could land on the moon or realise the earth was a globe – its obvious to me we will colonise other planets, though just it will be china, india, brazil, russia.. etc that does it not the west….

  45. @flicks – yeah, I was just looking at that story, too; my instinct was that it was a sore loser sort of play . . . they can spoil it all for everyone else? but then the sponsor is Lieberman, who is such an evil, war-mongering maniac that it more likely has some more neo-con agenda behind it

  46. ” Macquarie says no bubble in Australian housing or US Treasuries, but a big one in gold”

Aussies got everything upside down. When everywhere the house prices go down they go up in Australia. When the whole world was free they were prisoners and now we are prisoners they are free. Everywhere alligators live in sweet water but not in Australia they swim in salt water. We eat shark they get eaten by sharks. Everwere animals walk not in Australia the jump. I bet ya they got bats who fly dyring the day instead of night like everywhere else.

So, no surprise that everyone says that gold goes up they say it will go down. No surprise at all.

  47. I was speaking to someone the other day, who has traded long term highs and lows all his life (successfully),..and he’s betting on the gold “bubble”

Canadia budget deficit increases 1,2 billion dollars in 24 hours. Cause:Security costs for the G20 criminals assholes. Next reunion in France. Sarkozy promises that the next circus wil cost ONLY a tenth of what the Conservative fascist Stephen Harper squandering of my tax money ! Are you listening you “Canadian Conservative” ? Harper is scumbag. 333$ bill for each breathing and living Canadian. And that’s from a government that pretends being “lean and mean”. Canadian Conservative party mass criminals.

  49. Marc Authier

As for the Canadian police you are shits and parasites. Go get a real job and arrest the real cirminals working in banking you RCMP drug trafficking scum. Just the bill for mother fuckers from the RCMP is almost 600 millions. Thess bastards are renouned in Québec for planting bombs and committing RCMP terrorists acts. The radicals that used molotov cocktails bet you, were all financed by the RCMP. They haven’t changed onve bit since the FLQ. Police in Canada rhymes with parasites. 333$ per EACH Canadian for 20 foreign assholes. It’s effectively a criminal act committing by the police that is in the business of stealing and raping in the taxpayers like in the USA. What should you expect from colonized Canadians ?

  50. Marc Authier

Canada ONE big fat USA colonial banana republic. I am sure Stephen Harper’s buddies in the private security firms business made also a bundle screwing and stealing the Canadian taxpayers slaves. Must give the government gravy to the private sector. It’s good for the Conservative Canadian neo-con fascist businesses. The federal government Auditor General f tSheila Copps, the most honest person in Ottawa, (no pun it’s here real name) is investigating the G20 RCMP/Conservative party orgy,
I think we will have a lot of fun.

  51. @ Creative Destruction

When Bush was in office I developed a thought exercise where one simply inserts the opposite of what the speaker is offering. As in “we need the bailout to save the economy” becomes “we need the bailout to doom the economy”. It is not a perfect system but it is highly predictive. Thus Obama’s pledge to “fix” medical care”, translates to “make medical care more of a screw-job than it was before”. Try it. This system works most of the time.

P.S. I know you are making cool T-shirts. What are your terms for new, potentially viable, intellectual (LOL) property?

  52. @Youri – very interesting observations on Australia’s upside down nature

@Danny – I should think that a bursting of BS bubble would be awfully toxic, it will smell real bad . . . and, based on the size of the bubble, it will release mega-tonnes of methane

  54. @ Brandon – Chilling déja vu.

Hey, Roger and Me has my hair standing on end. One individual claims proudly that the US car manufacuring industry marked the beginning of the Indusrial Revolution. A clued up car worker subtly says, “Some people know what time it is and some people don’t”.

Then is now – that’s the time (film has me thinking about layoffs in Italy – Sardinia in particular of late – which are rarely covered by MSM, of course)

The mayor of Flint pays a tv evangelist hold an evangelical meet in Flint and we see a programme held up stating,

“Flint’s Attitude to Unemployment is – ‘Yes, we can!”

  55. Marc Authier

No problem with the australian bubble. Most buyers are from Europe. Sell when Europe buys. Old Wall Street classic saying. It’s a bubble all right ! specially when you see the real stupid Europeans in a market. Gold is a steal like the G20 and the Canadian taxpayers. New saying. We love in Canada to raped and plundered by the USA and the New World Order. And the pays is real great as a RCMP terrorist.

  56. @ snoop diddy

That movie was hilarious. Almost for got about it. Should see it again.

  57. @Kaks – I don’t think you’re American, but I was just at a party this weekend and some French guy asked me, “Why do Americans always use the word déjà vu? We never use it here.” I said, “Hmm, I hadn’t noticed that.”

    @Bonn

Good question. Didi the Irakis get their H1N1 flu shots. USA is a great specialits in shots. Any kind of shots. Shot in the arm or shot in the head.
    Get it ?

That being said. RCMP terrorists did a good job putting fire to police cars and breaking windows in Toronto. That way they presume that they can justify all their big fat budgets. Police state is like flu shots or shots in the head. First dissimetate the bug and then offer your services and your solutions. Who is behind the “Blacks Blocks”. Might we venture police and the private securitty scumbag racketers ? Bingo ! Like the H!N1. Create the “terror” and then sell the war, the prison camps, the naket body scanner and the flu shots. Such is USA and the world today. You are not in Kansas indeed.

  61. Marc Authier

Who is behind the “Black Blocks” ?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcIO3SvgPYI&feature=related

The same people justifying raping and pludering the taxpayers for security reasons Burning police cars without masks. Niec good steady job in the RCMP burning police cars. Yeah you have to be cynical knowing the cost of the orgy.

  62. @Stacy and Danny

  64. No bubble in housing in Australia, huh? I live in Sydney and EVERY person buying a house WORKS AT MACQUARIE BANK because their telephone-digit pay packets afford it!!!!! I have said it before … paying $1.7 million for a 2 bedroom semi-detached house (half a house…let that sink in) with no carspace on the lower North shore IS A BUBBLE. And another thing Rory … NOBODY I know owns gold OR silver. Long may the men of confidence keep talking down real money.

Israel considering using ballistic nuclear missiles against Iran. Which just proves that the real danger is not Iran but lovin and peaceful Israel with its 400 nuclear bombs. Talk about nuclear danger. 400 bombs for minuscule country. That’s enough to nuke Egypt. Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Lybia, Marocco, Liban, Jordania, Yemen, UAE and having some left for Paksitan and Afghanistan.

  69. @Marc Authier,

Well, I am an Israeli (in addition to being a national of another country), and I can promise you that what you mentioned is the tip of the iceberg, OK? You forgot to mention the chemical weapons, the biological weapons (yes, yes), and, some sources claim – genetic weapons. Oh, yeah.

  70. Marc Authier

    @Tamir
You have the right to defend yourself if you are attacked. I would be the first to approve a nuking of Iran if they tried to nuke somebody else. But we are NOT there. The preventive war policies are crazy.

You cannot attack a country becausee a country wants to have nuclear technology. You would have to nuke in that case about all countries with nuclear plants. It’s crazy and it’s real bad and dangerous policy. Seriously. Iranians are not that crazy. Nobody is. Not even Kim Ill Jung.

  71. @Marc Authier,

The Syrians and Iranians are not much better by the way. As the article you linked to indicates, the 2007 air raid was against a nuclear reactor inspired by North Korea. Are they peaceful, too?

  72. Nukes are a bad thing, and anyway useless in the middle-east. You use them, and the world is fucked for life.

  73. Marc Authier

    @Tamir
In sum it’s not even about Israel security problems. It’s about the G.O.D business. Guns Drugs and Oil. All the rest is just quite a dandty excuse to make a killing. Sorry fot the pun. :) .

  74. Mike/Liverpool

Gold flamed out, no staying power………..G20 a “sucess” expect big falls!
    mike

  75. @Marc Authier,

Israel response to anybody else in the middle-east acquiring nuclear weapons would be similar to the way the US would respond if anybody blocked the flow of oil from the Persian gulf.
    Total madness, in other words.

  76. Marc Authier

    @Tamir
That’s G.O.D Guns Oil and Drugs. A highly radioactive oil field for 250,000 years is not a very good thing. You are condemned to eventually get along. Hope one day peace will finally erupts ! Probably when oil runs dry. :) You have a real good point there. Israel and the other countries are so close that the use of such a massive arm is very problematic. Same thing bacteriologic and chemical arms. Good point.

  77. @Marc Authier,

This is probably not the right place for this, but personally I blame EVERYONE for this situation. They (the DUMB leaders or rulers or whatever, or the entities in the region) did not go far enough, showed no vision, no courage, no mercy, no nothing. A total bunch of fools! And guess what? when you are run by idiots, you get bad policies. you get war. you get death and destruction (Lieberman (!!!) is Israeli minister of foreign affairs (that a thug in a suit!), and the Palestinians are corrupt beyond anybody’s imagination!). Peace? peace need to be made between common people, not the bunch of idiots that run them. I’m looking for a sink now. We’ll be back when I’m don throwing up.

  81. @ Tamir
The crimes they have commited and are still commiting are so heinous
that they deserve that kind of penalty & I live in India
And Trust me even in India if the Real case were to be filed that is what the public will want. What face do we show as a society when an american Gunship mows down 2 journalists and 2 kids from an apache AH – 64
Or do we tell the kid who has a hole the size of a fist by a 7.62-MM Machine Gun mounted on the AH 64 is because papa Bush wanted Oil
Bush Cheney could not have gotten away with this nonsense if CNN & BBC had reported the real story
As for your question of Public floggin
Lets ask the Iraq’s & Afghanistan peeps After all tey the ones who are getting roggered because of Lies on CNN / BBC
Their Shariat Law calls and will call for public Floggin
    Hic ;-)

  82. Also if you are in a country which has Public Floggin as a Penalty Then let it be its so as simple as tat
    Hic ;-)

  83. I dont see any confusion here at all
Off wit tear heads I says
    ROFL
    Hic ;-)

    @ Marc

Sorry Marc isn’t Sheila Fraser the Auditor Genera? Wasn’t Sheila Copps the daughter of the Mayor of Hamilton who later became (surprise) a Liberal member of Parliament?

As far as PHD’s being the only economists we should listen to, it is a true pity there isn’t a PHD in common sense.

money printing to begin in earnest soon Helo-Ben has 3.5 trillion at his disposal now and the floodgates will open. The deflationary mongol horde is at the gate of Western Civilization and only brave bald idiot Ben stands alone,hairy,pot-bellied and naked shivering and clutching his genetalia in front of the oncoming monster. Gold forming nice cup and handle and set to rocket quickly 200 points as little Ben repeats one of his earlier wisdoms -”I have no idea why Gold is higher”. what an incompetent moron and ass-lick for the illuminati this criminal beaura is.

  88. I think it is worth noting the difference between housing and gold; I doubt anyone buys gold with a £100,000 loan from the bank. Is it not fair to say that those who are going into gold are those who HAVE money, who are squirrelling away something for a rainy day. Those who are “long” housing are borrowing and speculating – NOT squirrelling for a rainy day.

    Which would you trust?

  89. I have discovered a good primer for trading Gold paper around its comically manipulated expirations dates. It will be useful for those hedging large positions in gold and silver or simply those annoyed by the constant crude and thuggish manipulation by JPM and the bullion turds. Anyone interested let me know.

  90. credit to whoever thought of using the word monster for this.
    Do the mash
    do the monster mash
    its a smash

What is it with these bi-national Israeli & (fill in the blank) citizens??? There was a time when it was considered disloyal and treason for an American citizen to have dual citizenship. After this AIPAC crapped all over capitol-hill, it has become fashionable to be a traitor.

May I suggest to the “bi-national” citizens to either give up your US citizenship or give up your other citizenship and simply declare which nation has your favor?

Earlier in this thread, a bi-national Israeli & (undeclared) citizen suggested that the Israeli’s were more peace loving than some Asian nations.

I’d like to chime in on this jackass of a comment.
(BTW, I would like to thank Marc for getting me fired up… right with you Marc!)

Well may I politely remind the Mossad that the Korean Peninsula has had continuing presence by US troops for sixty years and has maintained that truce for that entire time. Meanwhile, exactly how many skirmishes, invasions, and wars have been fought on the Israeli borders?

The NorKor intelligence crowd has been constantly in the face of SoKor and JPN for 40 years. Yet, the two nations do not go sinking the NorKor ships.

You really do not want to go comparing Asian nations and wars in ASEAN member nations to the Arab-Israeli situation.

Israel really is a bunch of sorry ass whiners at this point. How many fricking times does the US military need to lift a finger for some stupid Israeli leader who sticks his neck out too far and gets some Arab backlash for walking on the wrong spot?

Your conservative Satan-yahoo’s go google-eyed every time the US President is made to BenDover-the-Net-and-Yahooohhooo.

Well, if Obama grew some gonads and goes to the Palestinians to cut a deal, I’m all for it at this point. How many fricking times does Moskowitz et al have to build another condo project in East Jerusalem with American casino money?

I’m sick and tired of seeing the crooks at Goldman sucking money through the Caymans and having this Bildeberg crap messing our cities in California.

And, don’t tell me you don’t know WTF I’m talking about. If you want the rank and file of the USA to get behind your sorry ass wailing, quit screwing with every non-jewish community … quit screwing up the financial system of the United States with this financial Goldman Sucks refuse!

I am sure that Mr. Keiser knows plenty well…if the guy was living in LA and involved with “entertainment”, he knows f’n damn well who’s behind the shifting of money to mideast Arms dealers who profit from each round in each gun in each skirmish. It’s fricking sick and pathetic! For Forty years Israel has claimed self-defense. Shooting a bunch of humanitarians in the head execution style is not self-defense.

Israel’s name has been smeared by the warmongering SOB’s who have the blood of millions in the name of their personal greed. How many body armor sales do you really need to retire?

Really, Israel has no idea what its screwing with…just like the Arabs don’t either. The mideast wars have been atrocious, but its a small thing compared to having your cities firebombed like Dresden and Tokyo, nuked like Hiroshima and Nagasaki, or terrorized like New York or London.

Israel and Saudi Arabia have fricking been damn lucky in the last 20 years.

You have to wonder how long that lucky streak will hold out.

If you guys in the mideast keeping going in that direction, you’ll create one hell of crater and don’t ask for the US to bail you out either.
