Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has issued an emergency declaration, intended to speed state help to parishes that need it after the storm hits. He said mandatory evacuations are not expected, but parishes might call for voluntary evacuations in some low-lying areas.

The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services encouraged residents Friday to prepare for the storm by pre-applying for Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, previously known as Disaster Food Stamps

@F. Beard

Donnow about that but what I do know is that it initially was used for tank granates cause of the better panze penetration capabilities. If they are so careless to also use this deleted uranium in lighter ammunition tells me that it doesn't cost much so that leads me to think that they just do it to get rid of the stuff.

People care more about animals than humans nowadays remember the puppie incident were suddenly everybody is on his high heels about while Iraqi civilians are slaughtered raped abd tortured left and right .... but that doesn't matter.

Same with Greenpeace - fuck the Global environment being contaminated for thousands of years but the uty cuty poor whale has to be safed.

Not many loan Modifications - Housing bubble explodes in foreclosures http://vodpod.com/watch/4086158-housing-bubble-explodes-in-foreclosures#

A federal report just came out that more people are late on their home mortgage payments and face default. Conveniently, these people do not qualify for help from the federal government. Sawsan Zaky says that not many people are able to modify their loan even though the banks are saying they would like to work with people who are close to default..

The reason why they used Depleted Uranium is cause somebody made a load of money using something what normaly cost a lot of money to dispose off as waste material. Youri

I understood that depleted uranium could be used in breeder reactors so it that case it would also be a waste of energy too besides a war crime.

Now the even use depleted Uranium in light ammunition for rifles. Youri

Where is Greenpeace on this? Anyone care to dispute that mankind is morally flawed?

@F. Beard

Actually I've read General Herbert Norman Schwarzkopf autobiography " Doesn't Take a Hero 1992 and indeedy the Blitzkrieg was highly succesfull. The Iraqies didn't even dear to stay in their tanks since they were heavely targeted by the airforce. By the time the U.S. army tanks came rolling in, trough a sand storm, all the Iraqi tanks which were still able to fight technically were abandont thus an easy target.

Most American losses were by friendly fire - Apaches on a killing stroke blasting mistaken friendly tanks in far front positions.

But Norman Schwarzkopf s goal was to limit the casualties to the minimum and he succeeded but could do so cause he was not involved in City combat which is a totaly different ball game. That's why they didn't persue the Iraqi army into Iraq.

Because this Blitzkrieg was so succesfull there was a lot of questioning by the MSM and the public why they didn't do so. I quess that Bush Senior, who was very cautious about public opinion after all that went wrong with Vietnam and all was surprised by that which made them decide to plan the Iraq War II.

The reason why they used Depleted Uranium is cause somebody made a load of money using something what normaly cost a lot of money to dispose off as waste material. Again follow the money. But it is a huge crime against humanity and it is surprising that the MSM in the U.S. but also in Europe don't spend a word on it. Shame on them. Now the even use depleted Uranium in light ammunition for rifles. The U.S. does the U.K. and Israel and maybe even more countries but I don't know about that.
