Krieger voted for Obama, after formerly campaigning for Clinton!!! How many times will he be fooled, bent over, and fooled again? A third (progressive) party in the US?
Didn’t Krieger’s political engagement over the past decade or two extend to watching the phenomenal Ralph Nader campaign in 2000 that filled sports stadiums around the country. In the end Nader was not only excluded from the debates, but threatened with arrest if he even set foot on the UMass campus hosting the debates, and the Washington University campus hosting the debates, and anywhere else that a national audience might see him.
Good luck, Mr. Krieger. But I’m sad to say Max is right. America consists primarily of people foolish enough to believe Obama is a progressive and people idiotic enough to believe he is the devil incarnate. The small slice of American voters in between these 2 views isn’t enough to overthrow the well-entrenched oligarchy. Only peasants with pitchforks pissed off at their lack of food, housing, and healthcare can save us now.

I agree with Max that the American consumer does not have quite the power that Michael thinks it has. We are free to choose among the choices provided, and most of us don’t have a clue that there are better choices available (or that most of our choices are crap).
I also don’t think that the consumer can assert its alleged sovereignty unless and until new market mechanisms are created that are free from control or assimilation by the giant corporate monopolies. I have some ideas on how to do this based on two key observations: (1) to compete with these monopolies you have to simulate their scale (you can’t achieve their purchasing and pricing power otherwise); and (2) public companies have a perpetual growth fetish that can be easily exploited to defeat them (they can easily be stripped of their core competencies if you pitch it as a way to boost earnings; the management of these lumbering giants have no idea what strategy is).
To Max’s last comment, I don’t believe Americans in general like the taste of tyranny they’ve had thus far. The Americans you’ve seen on TV certainly love it, but the media is providing an extremely distorted view of reality, which I think is quite different. Everybody, regardless of political stripe or ideological bent, realizes that something is wrong, that there is a problem. The key is to get past the divisive memes that have been intentionally circulated to keep us from coming up with a common solution. We’ll get past those, the only questions are (1) when and (2) how much pain and suffering will be involved?

I think what Mr. Krieger had to say regarding the general population of the country is pretty much correct especially when tied in with what you guys say on your show all the time…It is a fact that Americans have become a frighten cowering group and will except anything we are told…and for good reason…

A few months ago in the complex I live in, we had an ex military person with PTSD, stop taking his meds and go off his rocker a little, and someone called the police and within 30 seconds from the time this all started, we had four police cars, eight cops, a fire truck and an EMS truck in the driveway, and that was just to talk to the guy…how they can react that fast can only mean that all of those cops and all of that equipment are all within 30 seconds of this location and we are not in a crime ridden area by a long shot…they are just there all the time…
Last week in the Mormon parking lot behind our complex there must have been fifty white unmarked everyday looking cars and trucks parked there along with two Swat Trucks, a K-9 truck, and half a dozen marked police cars…along with the cars and trucks there were a bunch of guys in green fatigues wearing guns and wandering around and practicing some kind drills…I knew nothing about it and just happened to walk out the front door to get to the front yard of my house to clean up after my dog and soon as I stepped outside of the house everything they were doing stopped and everyone disappeared behind the big swat trucks until I went back inside…

“Barack Obama-ism” – you spoke something about him being a U Chicago trained economist (or something). I want you Max Keiser to win and as such be all that you are which is entertaining, fun…and smart. Please don’t talk too loosely, though. Obama is an idiot when it comes to economics, I believe (and an idiot in general, I believe). He even stated as much himself that he knew nothing about economics. I really doubt he has a clue what is going on and that is why the guy is always on the golf course, at another party, or doing more campaigning (which is really what he is ALL about).

I, have already gotten out of all non essential dollar traded assets (including properties, high maintenance luxury and sports cars) sold quickly so came out with profit, use banks only for essential checking, trade/speculate only for near term gains, am well positioned (and mobil) for the coming crippling taxes and CO2 related comings, gold, silver and renting.
Why not consider all the possibilities? The WL narrative is so sexy, and there’s that nice Iceland connection, so you’ve made up your mind. Next thing you’ll be saying Julian Assange is Copernicus…

The common denominator is that these people all hate the USA and want to see the country go down. Having Americans hated globally is a done deal already. I’m in Southeast Asia at the moment and you can imagine the daggers at my back. I’m not paranoid…..these are poor people who get screwed over regularly and the US is the superpower on the march.
