So judging by the hit piece on inflationists the other day, is it a forgone conclusion that we will have deflation ?
Why didn’t the Euro rise (DEFLATION) when it was in the process of debt destruction in early June ?
The dollar is backed by the performance of the US economy. The economy is contracting, tax revenues are plummeting. When people realize that the economy can no longer service the govt debt then the debt will be sold off and it will lose value. The dollar will be sold off in the fx market because remember, its backed by full faith and CREDIT. And no, we don’t need more QE or a rising M2 or anything like that to have currency inflation.
When the dollar sells off, real cost of commodities will go up.(INFLATION, not the demand pull variety)

I’ve been where George Hemminger has been. I can relate to what George is saying. I find it very curious to see how the class which caused this economic crisis is getting away with it! Of course, the American media is corporate owned, so the average American doesn’t get the facts. But change, imho, is coming. Hemminger is right though; the working poor don’t seem to be aware of what is happening to him/her. What Hemminger is describing, such as in the Malls, are the first signs of the breakdown in the social fabric. This could end up badly if there isn’t any leadership in Congress. A more intelligent approach to this crisis is needed, but it’s doubtful it will come from Washington DC. DC is too sleazy, too corrupt, too bought and paid for–by the class who caused this mess, the wealthy elite of the US.
It’s pretty obvious that George was oblivious to the world around him until he was forced off the credit crack. Now he stalks people that used to be invisible to him but who, in fact, were always there. But hey, since he just discovered something, he has made an earth shattering discovery!

What George doesn’t realize is that the whole homeless rage began while Reagan was president.
I disagree, though, that George is a fraud. He is a perfect example of a Ron Paul supporter, a guy who was oblivious to the suffering around him that he helped create by embracing neoliberal/libertarian policies co-sponsored by government and business, but who is now appalled that he is not above average like the libertarian rhetoric insisted he is. He’s a schmo, a chump, a dupe. But now he wants to blame the government he always hated for not keeping his self-esteem inflated. He can’t blame his stupidity or his ideology. He must blame somebody else.
Max is a lot smarter than George, but it is not clear whether he really understands that neoliberalism is exactly the same thing as libertarianism. So he interviews narcissists like George, who are angry that they can’t live beyond their means any more.
Max, if you want some real people to interview, I can hook you up with folks in Waterbury, CT, which has been a depressed area for at least thirty years. I can even have my dad, a hotel engineer, tell stories about what a prick George Carlin is and what a wonderful person Jane Seymour is.

I learned a couple of weeks ago that Stacy and Max believe in the whole anthropogenic global warming bit. A major disappointment to me. We have no true environmental program in the USA and never have had. Dr. Blaylock has been telling us the truth about fluoride and things in our food for decades. Lots of his videos on YouTube. He has written a couple of excellent books available from RadioLiberty.com. The just of yesterdays show with AJ is that hey really are deliberately killing us off and they are just totally out in the open about it now.
Only thing I don’t like about Blaylock is that he is peddling a couple of products called “Brain supplements” or Brain formulas and they are pretty darn pricey and can’t find any review of anyone on the web who has taken these to say if it improves brain function. His ads for those products sound almost funny to me. Sort of like brain surgery in a bottle.

George Hemminger. I struggled to follow his English. Have seen a couple of his ad hoc vids and disliked them for their lack of substance. His own personal history did not fascinate me, either. That irresponsible assertion that he regularly hears people openly advocating the use of violence against local governement officials was just the thing to further encourage police brutality. One should not interview just any man with a videocam, methinks.

I don’t want to be crass and I can kind of understand the different slant the current guest offers to the debate about things…but I think some of us (more than less) come here for the intelligence of the debate: Please seek out the smartest minds…. You have done a great job with an extraordinary breadth of videos. Please consider finding those who can continue to clarify with exceptional insight that we have gotten so far. As good as it all is, I believe we have not touched but 1% of the surface. From reading the comments, I can see the enormous variety of opinion, which is fine and good, but we should have some common themes by now, some common understanding by now if we are driving to, drilling down…to clarity.

I’ve been concerned and deeply saddened by the lack of media coverage that has effectively DISAPPEARED the millions of people put out of work and out of business, out of their homes and families with no US media coverage by corporate fascism in America.
Hemminger has the heart and journalistic drives of a Studs Terkel -”best remembered for his oral histories of common Americans, and for hosting a long-running radio show in Chicago.”
My hope is that Denninger’s work will go high profile to inspire others and monetized so they can make a living; an example for NEW Net journalism along with yours Max and Stacey.
