Muscovites Flee Worst Heat ‘in 1,000 Years’ and Toxic Smog; Death Rate Doubles

Stacy Summary:  It gets worse and worse for Moscow; this is not going to help their bond market.  And we’ll have to wait and see if force majeure is declared on these Russian wheat contracts and, if so, what the knock on effect will be.

  1. Seems to be coming together quite nicely,… how coincidental !

I just saw a piece on wealth inequality in the US. The top 10% hold half of the nations wealth, the bottom 90% hold the other half. This is just like the roaring 20′s even worse in many cases.

  4. Well first it was Cantor Fitzgerald with their failed box-office futures and now we have a new player seeking approval: Sports Risk Index. It looks like they are going to use funds (bets) to hedge sports teams risk when they make stuff, build stuff, sign players.

Max what are your thoughts on this?

  5. I reckon that spontaneous combustion of those peat bog swamps drained by the Commies are to blame. I lived in Arizona where it was far hotter and dryer and fire was rare except for that time Mt. Lemmon burned up.

Good afternoon, Stacy. I see it is 73F in Paris. It’s 75F here in Alabama with 94% humidity but its only 06:38.

This is just a theory :

In the US West (but Alberta and BC too) there has been an evolution of forest areas that have had 80 years of aggressive fire-fighting.

This has led to areas with excessive, but unburned grown cover — and human habitation that is too close to combustible forest or scrub.

The USSR internally must have done the same things as the US, post 1945 — ergo there are many areas of forest and scrub just waiting to burn.

One severe global warming event is enough to trigger a lot of built up burning.

The former USSR, like the US — are collapsed empires not able to aggressively fire-fight as was once possible.

I expect that there will be a lot of burning in the US next year.

The glow of richesse oblige in which the plutocrats are now bathed started to flicker in May 2009, when the initial members of this billionaire boys’ club sealed the deal over a lavish lunch. Appropriately, it was thrown by David Rockefeller, the 95-year-old head of the blue-chip New York oil-and-banking family. It was early in the last ……

These are both part of the Gates Foundation’s involvement in the “Grand Challenges Explorations” program which claims to be working to “achieve major breakthroughs in global health.”

…breakthroughs like mass sterilization and nanoparticle vaccines that could be covertly administered even without your knowledge, it turns out. These nanoparticles could be used in a spray mist that’s sprayed on to every person who walks through an airport security checkpoint, for example. Or it could be unleashed through the ventilation systems of corporate office buildings or public schools to vaccinate the masses. You wouldn’t even know you were being vaccinated.

  10. I thought this appropriate for our times,….

Oseos Nua, False Seer of Mt. Agium

”You hide yourself in front of a mirror,
you fear the reflection of your own soul.
The mask you wear betrays you; it shows a fake reality.
You sleep masked and wake up in a world of your creation.
    Masks showing what is not.
    You are a lie.”

  11. What would it take for force majeur to be declared on gold and silver contracts?

  12. Massive fires like these are just the sort of thing that the Bilderberg mafia would perpetrate.

The Bilderbergers also want to convince people of “climate change”, which will let them impose a world wide carbon tax.

This wreaks of an inside job…

Why would the ones who perpetrated what Max calls “arson” on Wall Street not also resort to real arson?

  13. F. Beard: Commies and peat bog fires- irony?

Or was it commies in California over the last 3-4 years?

  14. Or was it commies in California over the last 3-4 years? ptah

    Commies in California? Unheard of!

    Anyone fancy a hotdog ?

  16. @F.Beard – if it’s commies in California, then it’s better than whatever economic ideology it was that the rest of the country was doing on its swirl down the economic drain; California is more than 13% of US GDP, it still manufactures and exports goods and services, including computers and technology and Hollywood movies; California has a massive debt problem that began under Reagan and got worse and worse with every election as each US politician has to promise to get tougher and tougher on crime and lock up for 30 years every person who steals a slice of pizza; paying $30,000 a year for 30 years to lock up someone for a crime that costs $10 is the height of fascist insanity that the population itself demands (after, of course, clever propaganda on the nightly news); the debt situation then exploded under Gray Davis thanks to outright fraud by Enron

There is one good thing with crisis. People will maybe stat to appreciate the VITAL importance of farming and respect a little bit more farmers. Farming is an horrible business. Farmers are screwed by their banksters, by their suppliers and by their distributors. And last but not least by the godamn politicians. Russia is a good example. But not the only one. Not easy to be a farmer today. Anywhere.

Love your farmers and hate your banksters, these cancerous parasites.

  18. @Stacy,

I see the Commies as a flawed response to the fascists and Royalists whom I loath. If and when fascism is replaced with a true free market, especially in money creation, then the need for socialism will wither away. But as long as this country insists on a fascist money system that steals from the poor then I have no objection to the socialists stealing it right back.

My only objection to California was it did not permit the clearing of firebreaks and other preventive measures but I have since changed my mind since it is their business and besides they seem to enjoy having their houses burnt down: http://www.theonion.com/video/californians-gather-to-celebrate-annual-wildfire-t,14261/

I agree totally with you about our insane legal system. The bankers have to blame someone, don’t they, so why not their victims?

    Love ya.

  19. Marc Authier

    @Stacy
Three strikes and your’e out. Why didn’t they apply this for banksters ?

It would have solved all the problems. Mind you. I think the electric chair for bankers is much more satisfying and it’s less costly thant 30 years in prison. Yeah Bernie Madoff desserves the electric chair. So do a lot of these USA and European terrorists.

  20. judging from the picture, it seems McDonald has accomplished the same effect in Russia in it’s short decade(s) there as… well everywhere!!

  21. Carbon monoxide burns. They should be watchfull of explosions. If I was Putin or Medvedev I would recruit everybody to stop the fires from upwind. It would keep people healthy and it would stop the fires. Incomprehensible how people want to go about their business.

“This is still going to be the third-largest wheat crop in world history, even with the Russian shortfall,” said Daniel W. Basse, president of AgResource, an agricultural consultant firm in Chicago. “The question becomes, Will the drought persist, and will there be problems elsewhere, in other big producers like Argentina or Australia?”
