  1. Amusing to see all the teabaggers on here desperately clutching at straws defending their ridiculous movement. Good to see that Beck and Palin regained the spirit of MLK too. The US is seemingly populated by the children of Beavis and Butthead.

    What`s the fuss about?

Things are meant to change but surprise, surprise….same old same but different masks but nothing change!
I just see another couple of dracos betting for their financial future just like any average blood sucking lizard does it. Nothing new, same song for thousand of years. Show me the novelty, please!

  3. Sir David Rottentrousers

    LOL!

So Bill & Melinda plan to save the world by investing in McDonalds, Coke, Goldman Sachs, and Eco Lab.?

EcoLab makes all those fine industrial use products that get flushed in your local rivers and streams. LOL!

  5. Bots do not get that they are just tools- expendable distractions.

  6. TheFlyingDutchman

Well we’ll never see an in depth investigation journalism piece on Soros, Gates, Jim Johnson, or any of the others, no here anyhow because Marxists NEVER turn on themselves.

Dissent is only cool to Stacy when its coming from the left and directed towards the right.

  7. Oh boy, da bots are out. The Koch bros are classic elitists. They inherited wealth, they wish to foul their own nest(no pollution regulations), they promote hatred, and they despise the poor. The guillotine will be sharpened for such creatures.

  8. I went to a Tea Party meeting just to see what it was all about. I have to say it was pretty nice and not at all corporate like it’s being painted out to be.

There are two branches of the Tea Party. Tea Party Express seems to have some money behind it, while the other one, I think it’s called Tea Party Patriots, seems to be more grassroots.

I don’t understand why we have to attack these people. Yes, it’s good to know who’s behind things, but should that be used to totally delegitimize their message? Could the same thing not be done to virtually every group out there? …I mean, is Russia Today a totally legit outfit? Is it not state funded? Is there not plenty of corruption in the Russian state?

What Stacy would rather have us do is drink the statist Koolaid and totally denounce the idea of limited government while they push people like Keynesian Ellen Brown because they don’t know anything about a truly free market, or free banking as is laid out in the work of George Selgin.

Stacy, do a bit of reading, then you’ll get rid of your statist biases.

  9. Anyway, there’s a media furor now over these non-Hebrew patriots, but let’s not take our eye off the ball. Davey Jones

I agree but let’s not rail at Hebrew patriots either. Yeah, I was sucked into some ad hominium myself and I am ashamed. It really is the system, imo, and not individuals for the most part.

  10. @Sir David

Stacy forgives the murdering crimes of Gates and Co because she shares their belief in the AGW hoax. A gatekeeper some might say.

  11. Well, I’ve come the long way around to understanding what people mean when they say the successful “should give back to the community”. Now I don’t think it applies in every situation but in the case of those who borrowed from the government backed fractional reserve banking cartel to achieve their success, there is a debt to society. Why? Because with fractional reserves, new money (credit) is created from thin air. The purchasing power for that new money, however, is essentially stolen from all money holders, including the poor. Thus there is a debt to society.

If we had a truly capitalistic society with liberty in money creation then it might be that the rich in general have no debt to society. That cannot be said about today’s rich though to the extent they have used the government backed counterfeiting cartel.

  12. I mean, where’s all the same hate for Soros the super wealthy Socialist, Gates and his technocrat “foundation” that wants to poison and control us, and Buffet the fraud of Omaha? Sir David

    Good question!

Are you going to “investigate” the Gates Foundation and Soros, too? Sir David

I don’t hate the Koch’s since I hardly know of them but Gates definitely need looking into.

  13. I hate that you guys posted their pictures for everyone to hate because they’re rich WASPS and it’s okay to hate them out of jealousy. Davey Jones

I don’t hate the Koch’s and I’m not jealous but how can any very rich person in the US not have been a beneficiary of the government backed fractional reserve banking cartel? And if so, then they should not object to social spending for the poor. It is rather absurd that the US, a rich nation should have as much poverty as it does.

But if the Koch’s are as patriotic as you say, then let them support a bailout of the victims of the banking cartel, underwater homeowners and savers and also fundamental liberty in money creation.

  14. Sir David Rottentrousers

    @Stacey

You spent 2 days on these guys but why? Just because the New Yorker, NY Times and HP ran a story? Just curious. Are you going to “investigate” the Gates Foundation and Soros, too?

Here’s an interesting tidbit: Why does Jim Rogers dodge, ignore, and frown when someone asks him about George Soros? Is it maybe because he knows what a scumbag rich hypocrite he is? Or maybe it’s something deeper….

Jimmy would fall under the “WASP” category too–I guess–so maybe he’s a Bircher in disguise too. You should ask him when Max invites him on his show next!!!

  15. Sir David Rottentrousers

    @Gordo

“Firstly none of them are Socialists.”

Who is “them?” I mentioned several different names and put them into different context.

  16. Anyway, there’s a media furor now over these non-Hebrew patriots, but let’s not take our eye off the ball. This is fucking bullshit. People are so easily manipulated. Remember, it wasn’t the Kochs who kick started the great depression by stealing all the money, so shut the fuck up if they want to give their EARNED money to wherever they want, because THEY CARE.

  17. I hate that you guys posted their pictures for everyone to hate because they’re rich WASPS and it’s okay to hate them out of jealousy. Their dad was a fucking scientist and inventor, that’s why they’re rich. Why no pictures of looting, hook-nosed heebs for everyone to curse? Cause political correctness runs to your core and controls you.

  18. Funny, I don’t see the Kochs looting the country, but rather spending their own money to fight back against looting kleptocrats. Of course, the New Yorkers are going apeshit, so now all good liberal footsoldiers must attack the Kochs. Would you rather have the Kochs running the country, producing things, supporting liberty, sincerely loving their country, or Dirty Schwarzman, et al? Think about it and pick a side.

  19. From wikipedia on JBS:

A transcript of Welch’s two-day presentation at the founding meeting was published as The Blue Book of the John Birch Society, and became a cornerstone of its beliefs, with each new member receiving a copy.[7]

According to Welch, “both the U.S. and Soviet governments are controlled by the same furtive conspiratorial cabal of internationalists, greedy bankers, and corrupt politicians. If left unexposed, the traitors inside the U.S. government would betray the country’s sovereignty to the United Nations for a collectivist New World Order, managed by a ‘one-world socialist government.’”
    —-
Gee, greedy bankers, corrupt politicians, and an internationalist NWO, ring any bells?

  20. The Koch’s motivation totally transcends selfish calculations. They are true believers raised by a true believer. Their father was a political fanatic who fucking co-founded the John Birch Society. They’re just real Americans with a shitload of money and that scares the “Manhattan elite” kleptocrats who are all a-twitter over the Jew Yorker article.

  21. just as i figured. this nascent party, with its so called conservative ideology is now getting much needed money to help fund its election platforms. just like the nsdap. ah. how history comes full circle.

  23. @Rottentrousers\

Firstly none of them are Socialists.
Secondly none of them appear to be romanticists.

Thirdly the aim of Koch and MurderDoc appears to be to push America towards fascism. Once that happens and a loonie like Palin has her finger on the button you be lucky to last another 3 or 4 years.

  24. Sir David Rottentrousers

I’ve read most of the comments about these brothers now, and I have to say, why all the hate? I mean, where’s all the same hate for Soros the super wealthy Socialist, Gates and his technocrat “foundation” that wants to poison and control us, and Buffet the fraud of Omaha?

If anyone needs to be hated it’s the above three people I’ve just mentioned, especially Gates. If little exclusive-preparatory-school Gates from Washington state gets it his way, we’ll all be jabbed with H1N1 and AIDS vaccines every year until we’re all dead at a ripe and unproductive of age of 50. No need for social security when we’ll have a timely death by vaccines. It will be vaccines to “protect us” from old age and fluoride and other drugs in the drinking water to keep us calm and passive–all provided be the Gates foundation.

“Oh thank you Mr. Gates, thank you for your God-like generosities–I mean genocides.”

The Koch brothers might be greedy industrialists that want to continue their dominance but show me proof that they are giving money to specific scientific fields that could directly kill off and control civilization and then I’ll put them in the major leagues with Bill and Melinda.

  25. The Jews who own the media are fomenting Islamophobia. I think most informed people realize by now that the Muslims are not responsible for 911 and other false flags. This is going to cause a terrible backlash in the Muslim world. I sense a horrible clash between Islam and Christianity looming. If you study the demographics of the Muslim population, you see that Islam is dying in Africa while at the same time being imported to Europe and elsewhere. The entire continent of Europe is going to be embroiled in a violent bloody revolution. If I was living there, I’d think seriously about leaving.

i really don’t care how or if you want to get high, hemp is an industrial crop, youtube hemp for victory, it helped us beat fascism in wwII (well, i was told fascism lost), more to today’s point, i believe it would create not only jobs, but a way for small farmers to produce something of value that doesn’t require petro-chemicals, if you still consider hemp to be a stonner’s joke, consider this, Jefferson’s declaration of independence was scribed on hemp paper, and all the rigging and sails of the uss constituion? you got it, hemp, (the word canvas is derived from the arabic word for cannabis) in fact it was once a mandatory crop, in more revolutionary times, in order to build our fledgling navy to defend us from the british empire, but if you still like to poke fun at the high ones, here are a few reputable stonners, that is marjiuana, not hemp users, you may be familiar with, Queen Victoria, Carl Sagan, and even good old George Washinton sexed (that means to seperate the females for mature flowering, ie buds) his plants, but if all those hippies bum your trip, remember, henry ford built a car out of hemp that ran on hemp oil, and he was an out of the closet nazi, so i think you will find it’s not really about ideology, it’s about money, and a nation of automous small land owners is either something you are with, or against, the kochs fear nothing more than for people to stand up for themselves, this is why the u.s is the only industrialized nation that outlaws hemp production, but not its importation or assmbley, a plant christopher columbus brought to america,
sorry for the rant, i’ve got a belly full of freedom fries

They want most of us dead so they can return to the Garden Of Eden. Problem is that it was God who evicted us so it seems a rather vain effort. He apparently destroyed all but Noah because mankind was so murderous and yet every day I hear that the world is overpopulated.

  58. Illinois Brandon

If you get a gay friendly ruling from the US Supreme Court on Prop 8 I fear that Conservative Catholics and Evangelicals will blame secular Jews for it. Palin’s preacher has already said that Evangelicals must replace Jews in control of the financial system. He also said that Jewish influence has corrupted the US.

  59. Illinois Brandon

Pat Buchanan reaction to the Elena Kagen nomination to the supreme was Jews are only 2% of the US population yet will now have 1/3 of the seats on the high court. The truth is many right wing Catholics and Evangelicals in the US agree with him.

  60. folks do realize how electricity is made from nuc plants. Turbines. Same as dams have. Water at high pressure moves the turbines around producing electricity. Simple , very clean technology.

Here’s an idea build more dams that can accomadate more turbines. i”ve actaully talked to a guy that has worked at several northwest dams that produce electricity. And he’s told me they could actually double of triple the turbines in the dam to produce 2 and 3 times more electricity. But they don’t want us to know that I guess. And the dams are already there. YOu’d just have to jerry rig

I am all for legalizing pot though I don’t smoke but is strikes me as too much a coincidence that hemp would solve so many problems. Hurricane Earl is one to watch it is projected to get within 100 miles of Long Island and New England as a Major Cat 3 Hurricane. The Northeast hasn’t taken a direct major hit since the Long Island Express in 1938. That storm killed over 600 people.

  63. Scott,

There is so much wrong in the world right now that discussion about governement limited or socialistic is a rather theoretical one.
The central banks and the multinationals are ruling the world, not our governements. As I started to study the economic situation in the world I started looking at the USA, but I found out Europe is a mess as well.
Going into all of this is impossible right now, but I think that we are all getting screwed. The only thing we can do is trying to infiorm ourselves.
My friends and relartives are not interested and get tired of me when I try to inform them.
One thing is for sure: this all isn’t about democrats verus Liberals (In the US). I won’t elaborate on that, but if you still think it is I am afraid that you haven’t done your homework yet.

So far this year they have socked away 2.8 million ounces of the stuff… over 10% of their entire holdings in just the last seven months!”

  67. @F Beard
It’s a not a question of descent. It’s a question of state of the culture presently. I just can visualize what type of chaos if instead of an oil spill it was plutonoium. Not a pretty picture anywhere. But USA seems so disorganzed. Total improvization. It wasn’t like that in the USA 50 years ago.

  68. I would generally distrust any big money from the tea party people becasue the entire basis for the movement is decentralized populous middle and lower classes. Now that said , I am sure there are a few mucky mucks who were raised on the constitution, bill of rights etc and they have been biting their tongues whilst witnessing those in their class destroying this nation for decades. Maybe just maybe they see the chance to right come terrible wrongs and finally put this nation on its constitutional course. we should vet anyone with a net worth in the billions but certainly not discredit them based on the fact that they may be stake horsing the movement. The french financed the amercian revolution. someone always has to pay the bills and their father did speak at the patriotic Birch society. Lets properly vet them before listening to the NEW YORK PRAVDA (Times).

  69. The only reason the French like their nuclear industry is that havn’t the remotest clue how much it costs them. Add in the storage and decommisioning costs and it is probably the most expensive electricity on the planet. That’s why no private company has gone there for a quarter of a centuary.

The comments hit the nail on the head, governments wanted the technology to go on and make nuclear weapons.

As to France being a civilised country, that’s just a sick joke.

  70. @F. Beard …. Ah, but we have plenty of Americans of German descent.

  72. You can’t fill up your car with thorium Marc Authier

No but with enough power one could pull CO2 from the air and synthesize fuel with it thus creating a closed energy cycle. Is CO2 a danger? No, but I do point out the hypocrisy of the anti-CO2 crowd who in many cases are opposed to economic growth. I don’t really blame them since the banking cartel has given growth a bad name.

If France can do nuclear then surely the US can if we but have the will and the courage.

  73. .@F Beard
I am not sure USA or UK can be trusted with nuclear energy when I think about the British Petroleum fuckers. Sloppy dirty bastards. Now imagine a nuclear plant exploding in USA. You are real slobs in the english speaking world. Sloppy as the Russians and the Chineese. It’s not a compliment. American and British environnemental pigs. Sorry. It’s the case F Beard. You CANNOT be like that with thorium or uranium. No sloppyness allowed.

  74. All political movements in America are funded by wealthy Zionists including the Tea Party. The Tea in Tea Party stands for Taxed Enough Already. John Williams at Shadow Stats says if the federal government used GAAP accounting methods they could not balance the budget even if they raised our taxes to 100%.

We have a system to designed to transfer wealth to the bankers through fractional reserve banking and wars for Israel.

The very first Tea Parties began by booing a Republican, Governor Perry of Texas, off the stage.

Americans are legitimately angry with their government but have few means of organizing without the intervention of the wealthy bankers and Zionists.

We will see what happens when the dollar collapses.

  75. @F Beard
You can’t fill up your car with thorium F Beard. And besides that. the real impact would be felt 20 years from now. Building nucleat plants takes time and is costly up front. You only get the benifits later. Only France had the vision of seing the real benefits of nuclear energy. There is a problem with nuclear waste also. But eventually if we develop fast breeder to burn ALL the waste even the plutonium, you could generat more energy than you use ! Nuclear energy is definitevely the future. But you have to conscious of the dangers : Tchenobyl. This technology allow no errors. It takes a real civilized country like France to operate such a technology. I am not USA or UK is up to it.

  76. Frans:

The U.S. Constitution was written to limit government, and those powers not expressed were left to state governments per 9th/10th amendments. The general welfare clause has been distorted to expand the government’s role to do about anything, e.g. various comments made this year during town hall meetings by members of Congress. I don’t mean to sound belittling, but just as it is for my extended family in Canada, I find most Europeans unable to understand the concept on individual liberty via limited government. Before my travels to Europe, I was sold on the sophisticated socialism expounded upon by very educated European leaders, but after traveling, I see that Europe has many problems and more to come with immigration of the poor from the third world.

I don’t like corrupt government or business as much as you, but don’t believe that the US is a free capitalist market, it isn’t.

May I suggest Ayn Rand as an author who may challenge the current definition of capitalism?

Can you imagine? Just typing this idea here has put me on the list.;-)

  82. Jackson solved the bank problem once. cultamerica

Jackson did not permanently solve the problem. The problem is the borrow-lend money paradigm that loots wealth rather than shares it. Without access to the counterfeiting cartel, corporations would be forced to share wealth and power rather than loot it. The Bible hints at the solution, imo:

“You shall not charge interest to your countrymen: interest on money, food, or anything that may be loaned at interest. You may charge interest to a foreigner, but to your countrymen you shall not charge interest, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all that you undertake in the land which you are about to enter to possess. Deuteronomy 23:19-20 (New American Standard Bible)

Fractional reserve lending is one of mankind’s worse inventions while the common stock company is one of his best. Curiously, they originated about the same time.

seriously what’s the point of a billion dollars unless you have a billion serfs around to appreciate your vast wealth, i mean if we were all billionaires we would all feel poor, or at least very average. it’s not so much about being rich, it’s about surrounding yourself with people that are poorer than you, which always proves to be a risky, but rewarding enterpise

see all y’all in the gulag,
and i still call top bunk!

  86. Well the right wing always seem able to play fools like a f******g violin, Paolo

The government theft via their taxes is obvious to them while the theft via the banking system is hidden. Also, many of them are esteemed “credit worthy” and have been co-opted into the looting class themselves via access to cheap credit.

  87. Well the right wing always seem able to play fools like a f******g violin, it would be very funny if we werent tied together to these idiots via one man one vote.
If i hear one more idiot call Obama a socialist i might go and live in the woods, rejecting henceforth all human contact.

  89. Christians got to have priorities after all. cultamerica

My priority is the abolition of the banking cartel so we can have a peaceful, stable, prosperous and free society. God has quite a lot to say about economics in the Bible so it is no small matter.

  90. Change that “awareness” to “participation”, or “involvement”, or “engagement”. Awareness today is like a bullet with no gun.

  91. Such action will fail. Such actions will fail to occur. Such actions make for good debates, but without the awareness of da peeps there will be no actions, there can be no actions but those which are orchestrated by mugs such as those above, literally above that is.
These peeps have been placed in a semi-trance, soon to be the full blown thing, that’s when you will see some action
The modern cult is a soft cult, a cult of apathy and self loathing. The cult of Darby is America. I got people in my city hungry with lead flying overhead, and I sit in my Christian lazy-boy. Christians got to have priorities after all. If you neutralize the American Christian (which has been done, no city on the hill here), the rest is just a shimmy to the labor camp..

  92. but the koch bros are criminals because they steal oil from native americans on reservations, which is federal land, so they are traitors to boot underfiatmentalist

That is some weird story but it makes sense.

  93. who will tell it to the people? cultamerica

Who needs to? We have religious freedom in the US and that is just fine by me. But we have freedom of speech so we can engage other folk’s beliefs if they’ve a mind to listen. Me I don’t care that much; I’d just like to see the US abolish the banking cartel. Without the unfair advantage of a controlled money supply, I figure things would right themselves soon enough.

  94. Those two are our fault (for letting it happen). Shame on us!

  95. F. Beard, who will tell it to the people?… at least we have S.park.

Losing the zero sum game – They’re mooching off your slice of the pie
    August 29, 2010

    … A million dollars would give 285 people who make 35K/year a 10% raise.

These are choices. And they’re not being made in our favor. They are made by the rich, in favor of the rich, at our expense. …

  101. They have a reptilian look about them.

  102. @cultamerica,

Nope. I don’t follow Beck. It makes sense for a cult though. The Bible is predicated on the belief that God ACTUALLY EXISTS so of course our secret activities are no secret to him. But Mormons are either mentally deficient, ignorant or willing participants in a religion they know was invented. South Park has a good take on them:

  103. A right to rule all
    Is that what money provides?
    Dough can’t give merit.

  104. F. Beard, did you like the bit about Beck requesting that we pray with our doors open for our kids to see?

  105. @leobrady – none of the street protests in France are financed by Bernard Arnault or Liliane Bettencourt; in fact, those two are more likely to see themselves taken hostage by protestors in France

  106. @Frans

    Klopt!!

  107. …and David H. Koch was being celebrated for his generosity as a member of the board of trustees; he had recently donated $2.5 million toward the company’s upcoming season, and had given many millions before that. from http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2010/08/30/100830fa_fact_mayer#ixzz0y0Z28ydU

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.”

“So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.”

“But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6: 1-4

  108. These engineers suffer the illusion that they can control and shape the world. Beyond climate is the everyday life that becomes more and more like a chicken farm for we egg layers and friers. This is the world they attempt to protect while diversions abound.
The big Q is how far will they push to assure their pre-failed fantasy, yes I do have Hitler in mind here.
I really do love the voice over on this Georgia Guidestones clip

Wow What a fuckin non revolution. Reminds me Washington was a fuckin slave owner. Nothing new under the sun. Things they ain’t changin.

  110. I love to see people hitting the streets in protest. That’s what I admire most about the French.

That said – Many of the grass roots movements, over my lifetime, start off with a bang and finish with a whimper. The initial ideas were pure.

I wouldn’t discourage anyone from participating in the tea party protests but the members must be on constant guard against infiltration by either of the parties and big money that are responsible for where we are in America today.

I would think that would just make good sense.

Throw Palin and the Koch Bros under the train and readopt the Tea Party’s founding principle of for and by the people.

  112. Scott: illegitimate government functions: explain yourself.
John Birch Society seems to me what we would call in the Netherlands a right wing organisation.Their support to it makes it only clear to me that the bros don’t want to be bothered by rules as much as possible and are only interested in making profit and fondeling their ego and getiing more influence by doing “charity”.

  113. Sir David Rottentrousers

The real agenda here might be that they aren’t included with the Jekyll Island investors and feel a little left out like some other billionaires. Who wouldn’t be if the investment, or “cash cow,” was the Federal Reserve Bank?

If this is a battle between the Elite, then so be it, let it begin!

  114. They aren’t bankrolling the tea party, they’re hijacking it.
    Big difference.
They hate populism, as do most rich people because the rich want to believe the lie that their money implies superiority and a right to rule.

  115. And so what? Because they want to eliminate illegitimate government functions, they are evil? The writer assumes that they are interested in keeping the capitalist game rigged, but offers no evidence except that they are rich. One is a high ranking member of the John Birch Society, therefore, I would assume that he wants to abolish the fed and end corporate welfare or he wouldn’t be part of that group. Rich does a good job of creating confusion between the Demorepublican rich corporate-social welfare whores, and rich people who have no interest in it. They are all not the same.

  118. Thanks Stacy, they look pretty creepy.

  119. The fact this website’s editors selected a shallow NY Times opinion piece instead of the far deeper, more sophisticated New Yorker opinion piece on the Kochs again adds to the idea that (a) generally, this site merely ‘skims from the top’ and/or (b) actively & consciously seeks to dumb down complex issues which by their very nature cannot be dumbed down, unfortunately

  120. I used to be a member of the right myself till I figured out it is mostly a front for the fractional reserve bankers who don’t want the government clawing back their stolen goods which they acquired via government privilege. They are thus hypocrites.

  121. The one on the left appears to have false teeth which just goes to show money can’t buy everything.
