    You can’t occupy other people’s nations like my country does and expect people to not seek to harm you.

    Never mind selling off Northern Ireland……
    In the spirit of Greater Finland (Stacy will know),
    ……………I propose a Greater Northern Ireland, where Scotland, RoI, Wales and Northern England can be provinces ruled from Belfast.
    (we can tow SE England into the Atlantic and sink it)

    oh, and lets include those nice wine regions of France and Italy in the GNI.
    LOL

    U.S. National Security Adviser James L. Jones: “Thank you for that wonderful tribute to Henry Kissinger yesterday. Congratulations. As the most recent National Security Advisor of the United States, I TAKE MY DAILY ORDERS FROM DR. KISSINGER, filtered down through Generaal Brent Scowcroft and Sandy Berger, who is also here. We have a chain of command in the National Security Council that exists today. http://www.cfr.org/publication/18515/remarks_by_national_security_adviser_jones_at_45th_munich_conference_on_security_policy.html

    Max and Stacey, please do a small piece on the fact that Scotland is keeping the UK afloat with its oil, and the UK borrows loads against this. This is why Labour the Tories and the Lib Dums wont and will try their hardest to not allow the people to take part in a vote for independence.

    they are playing a game where the press and the national broadcaster the biased british broadcasting corporation can make radio programmes with comment like this where if you change the word scottish to “black, gay, any other part of society here ” there would have been riots

    The moment the tea party came into existence as a grass roots movement the neo-conservatives planned to co-opt it which, with the help of FOX news & Glenn Beck has now happened. The US and the UK political institutions are rotten to the core, no grass roots organisation can grow within what are now failed states. The system must collapse totally before something new can rise.
    Who is there left in the US to hope for? Ron Paul? no one listens to him anyway. Everyone whines about the problem but we just as much a part of the problem all talk no action. All this anti-establishment talk makes you feel good as if it actually makes a difference but all it does is lead to you feeling somehow smug and smarter than the poor ignorant sheeple—-shame on us all we deserve what we are going to get—screwed!

    Thank you for the article from Armstrong. I was very interested in his statements about the new gold tax starting on page 11. This “new gold tax” is so corrupt. As he says it demonstrates the pure hatred of government toward any dissent.

    This gold tax must be repealed. Disgusting in was tucked in Obama’s toxic health care bill.

  12. MirrorMirror

    PS@SAO … are you familiar with Martin Armstong’s writings ?

    Behind the Curtain … IIRC … goes into some intersting stuff about his life :

    … A European film crew has already contacted the Bureau of Prisons. I have agreed to cooperate and they will be making a documentary on this case. At least two others are writing investigative books on my case. They sent me here quickly and have made every effort to arbitrarily keep me in prison, I have been called America’s Count of Monte DeChristo, or America’s Nelson Jfendella, to the Guy Who Knew Too Much….

    @Metoo,
    Great idea. What does North Sea oil mean to the now bankrupt British economy and why was the lies that Scotland couldn’t afford to be independent and that the oil wasn’t that much etc..

    Playing hardball! If you want to help break the system then Scotland not being in Britain means there is no Britain. That means no UN veto and the US’s and Israel’s ally on the UN secuity permanent veto would be a goner..

    Do we have to beg Max? Scotland’s bigger than Iceland you know :O)

    Our Dutch Parliament members donnow their head from a whole in the ground and are an easy target for the banksters but they’re not the only ones.

    My first time reading Armstrong. He sounds like he has experienced a great deal and knows what is coming down. Thank you for the links. I am interested in learning more about him.

    I’m still really pissed about the new gold tax. That has to be stopped dead in its tracks. The thugs controlling this country are a great threat to us all. A deadly threat. This must stop. I do not like being threatened by thugs and psychos.

  16. Jayme

    from the link Youri C. posted for Marc Faber

    HRN: What would you recommend that the Federal Reserve do differently?

    Dr. Marc Faber: The first action Mr. Bernanke should take is to resign. … Mr. Bernanke may be incompetent, but he’s not an evil person per se. He just doesn’t have sufficient knowledge to be a central banker, in my opinion…

    LOL. excellent advice and excellent interview.

    @MAX
    Not only is the current financial hegemony against gold because it is finite definition of value but it is not need for a banking system. It is a storer of value and a bank all in one. The way gold had been stolen and “swapped” lately I only trust holding it physically.

  20. SAO

    Max, a show on the new gold tax would be greatly appreciated. I am so angry they constantly hammer at the everyday person out here. I am tired of losing money to these thugs. I am doing everything above board and they steal everything right in front of your nose and get away scott clean. Screw more taxes.

    To think they would slip it through the health care bill is criminal. How can it be repealed? Politicians are worthless, so what must I do to repeal it. I am fighting mad.

    Marc Farber

    “t’s more a question of when it will happen rather than if it will happen. For sure it will happen but will it happen right away, say in September, or maybe only in two years time? Eventually, before everything collapses we’ll have an inflationary bout which may not be so strongly felt in consumer prices, as in stocks or housing or precious metals prices or in commodities like oil; or inflation could occur mostly in foreign currencies, in other words, in Asia where the currencies could appreciate.”

    Kind of sounds like Mr. Faber is backing way down from the inflation prognosis.

  22. ROVSKI

    @Fiatmentalist
    The North sea oil brought the oil price down worldwide as they operated outside the OPEC cartel. I worked in the North Sea for many years and wondered why they were in such a hurry to pump it out so quickly. The IMF might have had something to do with that. Just like Gordon Brown flogging off gold at the lowest price North Sea oil and gas went cheap and soon they will have to buy the oil (they are already net gas importers) back at higher prices.
    As for buying a property in Aberdeen you dad may have done well out of that but when the oil price plunged to$10 a barrel there was a huge downturn in the property market. Not many jobs and the yanks just packed their bags, sent the keys through the mail to the banks for their unwanted houses and went home.

    Max and Stacy:
    I need to know if you believe that governments around the world are coercive as I do? (Even if we disagree in the ways it is coercive, or prefer it to be coercive in certain ways) I do not believe in the legitimacy of coercive government.

    Therefore, since it is NOT LEGITIMATE nothing we can ask of it is appropriate- not even the so called limited powers that were granted to it by a Constitution that was formed in secret- in the case of the American Constitution. Spooner was right. The Constitution is of no effect.

    So- the same government that attacks citizens (taxation=theft, patriot act, asset forfeiture, tasers, cameras, sending 18 year olds to their death in other countries, goes after bank accounts outside its jurisdiction, Kelo land grabs, Internet domain take-downs, and frankly you know the rest…

    Why would you be in favor of Net Neutrality? This gives power of coercive government that cannot be taken back by individuals (it is very hard to get back individual rights that are given to or taken by the federal government, with or without our approval.

    I suspect we both disapprove of Corporatist-State or Fascism, and we do not like Walled-Gardens, but the FCC is the government arm wielding its power to defend corporatist walled gardens. This is already interference by the government.

    Without such a CARTEL, supporting limited players- a competitor that would not insist on a walled garden, would take the business from its competitors.

    If you do not like the corporate state, then you should also not promote the giving up of any individual rights down to the federal government.

    Maybe you can speak to this in your Truth About Markets, or Keiser Report, or On The Edge. All of which I watch or listen to.
