Stacy Summary: Another ‘think tank’ that gets the Koch buck. Classy guys at Heritage, and classy group of voters that would agree with this sort of ideology where a private contracting, military racketing oligarchy is protected, while wounded soldiers are treated like welfare bums. Check out the more than tripling of defense contracts just to Virginia’s private military contractors, for example, from $16 billion to $51 billion per year between 2000 and 2009 for a total of $341 billion in taxpayer funded contracts over 9 years, but, of course, notice that no cuts are to be found there. No, the cuts are for the ‘undeserving,’ not for their own ‘deserving’ kind of government spending.

As to the question of the proper disposition of Lloyd Blankfein, here are my thoughts. Whereas decapitation is a quick and clean solution with much to recommend it, it really undersells the matter of the appropriateness of the man’s punishment.

This is my recommendation :

First, have his doll appropriately cursed by a voodoo priest. ( It shouldn’t be hard to find one in Haiti. They’re all pretty ticked-off right now. ) Then, following his instructions, insert pins in the desired body parts over the required length of time to give the give the man some sense of the long term agony his actions have helped to inflict on millions of people everywhere.

Well, that’s my thinking on the subject, Max. See you RT again next week !
