aaaah dammit it’s hard enough trying to get the message out there. Max and alex are two people that do a hell of a good job.
But Alex has ruined it his rep with people he should be trying to reach by doing this. To the uninitiated, he’s just the energetic crackpot who was on The View defending Charlie Sheen, so his credibility in everything else he does, which is far more important, has been diminished. He’s blown it.
I found it instructive to see Whoopie and Barbara Wawa try to shut down Alex when he contrasted Charlie Sheen’s “crimes” with US torture and killing millions of Iraqi civilians. “I thought we were here to talk about Charlie,” exclaims Whoopie, making it entirely clear that the sole corporate purpose of ‘The View’ is to keep people (mainly women, unfortunately) focused on matters that don’t challenge the powerful.
Yet another diversion in the land of bread and circuses. When the bread and/or the circuses end (either one will do), the guillotines will be coming out in short order, and the folks at The View might want to keep that in mind. They have picked a side (albeit the wrong one) and they may regret that choice in the not-to-distant future.
Whatever demons Charlie Sheen has had to deal with in his life, they are insignificant on the world stage compared to the crimes of the powerful in this country, and I have deep respect for his repeated attempts to find a way to live in this incredibly corrupted and broken world. My respect for Charlie has increased immeasurably, while that for entertainers like Whoopie has gone way way down. In my view, he is fulfilling the true aim of an artist: to force us see that which we refuse to see. Whoopie, not so much.
Frankly, I’m tired of hearing about how alcoholics and drug addicts are the cause of all these supposed ills of our culture, yet this clip seems like the women are trying to put Charlie’s drug problems on the same plane as crimes against humanity around the world by the US administration. Not the same. Not even in the same Universe. I’m really tired of this war on drugs as much if not more so than the war on “terra.” Can we have a war against stupidity? How about a war against sycophants?

One reason to suspect AJ’s motives is that a lot of his rhetoric is John Birch Society propaganda. The John Birch Society was funded by the Koch Brothers, uber lords of AJ’s New World Order.
Another reason to suspect AJ is that he’s too aligned with the Austrian School of Economics, whose most famous advocates–Hayek and Mises– were funded by Rockefeller as part of the one-two neoliberal punch (Chicago School monetarism followed by Austrian School free banking). I firmly believe that the the banking and private money solutions of the Austrian School guarantee serfdom more surely than socialism ever did. Also, the COMEX in their height of wisdom and market rig efforts decided to raise the margin requirements for silver, for the umpteenth time since last summer. Usually such a margin hike results in a significant price drop like a wind sheer to an commercial jet aircraft.
This past week, the silver price zoomed toward $34/oz despite the threat of margin ambush, in total defiance to the greater hardship to maintain margin. It is unusual to see a silver price advance in the face of one such factor. But it rose with gusto in the face of two important obstacles.
My forecast in the last few months has been steady, that silver would lead the precious metals. That has been confirmed. While silver raced past $30 and $31 with ease, Gold has yet to confirm the breakout beyond the January highs. All in time.

Yep. I heard it just as you did and I could sense the panic in the studio, as the program hosts realised their jobs might be on the line for allowing such an ‘outage’ of truth. Good old Alex. I wish he’d come to the UK. And incidentally it was good to hear his loyalty to his friend. He managed to get all the messages across – don’t know how he gets the language flowing so seamlessly.
