Ok, got some, whew!, Expensive! But, I wanted at least one to tip my hat towards Max and Stacy.

True story, I and a casual friend talk about buying silver and preparing for the “breakdown” – I won’t use meltdown for the tragic reason. Anyway, I said something like,”Yep I want gold or silver or food in my hands. ” He reaches out and gives me a 1924 silver peace Morgan. I gave it back and thanked him three or four times but he wouldn’t take it back. Some people can’t be generous and some people can’t accept generosity. After turning him down a few times I accepted it and thanked him.

Imagine that peace was once actually printed on a silver coin. Well, it was after the First World War . Imagine that the wall street guys really responsible for the First World War put peace on their coins.

Anyway, back to my true story. I’m not making much money right now – more than the poor workers in China and a lot of other places around the world- but as far as the US goes- I’m working part time at wages lower than I’ve worked for in twenty years. So, since Max’s and Alex’s “Crash JP Morgan” started in FEB., I’ve been taking a little money each paycheck and buying a silver eagle or two. Since, I know silver is going to rise and what little I can save will increase in value also. So, this guy that I don’t really know very well, gives me this Peace Morgan. Well, when I can, I like to have a little fun now and then. The weekend he gave me that coin, I pondered selling it to play a little. But, I was feeling badly about it . The coin said Peace after all. The only way I could bring myself to do it was I told myself that my next paycheck I’d buy a better shape Morgan silver dollar and give it back to the guy who gave me one. I’d say here is the return on your investment. You know, like the First Nations would trade blankets in friendship to each other. Anyway, the next paycheck I followed through and bought a 1900 Silver Morgan in better shape. It added about $8.00 dollars to what the other coin paid. But when I tried to give it back to the Man who had given me a silver coin worth $22.00, he wouldn’t take it. I tried six times to convince him to. Like, telling him he could add value to it by buying something better and giving it back to me, and then I could add value to it and give it back to him, and so on. And when it got to expensive we could flip for it or something. Ha ha. But he wouldn’t take it. But, when SLA first talked about 1/10 oz coins I told him about it. So he said to me that day, I would take a 1/10 oz coin from you. So, today I sold the 1900 silver dollar Morgan and a Silver Eagle so I could buy 6 1/10 ounce Max Keiser coins! So, I will now be able to return his kindness and goodwill. I hope you enjoyed the story.

I bought 56 oz when silver was $30 per oz but in hindsight wish I would have invested in more when it dipped temptingly below $27 per oz. Now it looks like the new low is $39 and hanging strong.
