The only thing I question is the Japan Quake cause – it needs firmer evidence, show us the interview with the Japanese finance ministers saying they had been threatened with a weapon that causes quakes.

Hi guys i believe i have mentioned here before i live in Perth , Australia and go to the Perth Mint to buy my PMs.I had a day off work today so i went in to buy some silver , line to get to the bullion trading counters was around 8-9 deep when i arrived.Enquired about buying 10 2oz silver coins but was told all silvers coins (1/2 ounce 1 ounce 2 ounce 5 ounce 10 ounce 1/2 kilo) apart from the 1 kilo kookaburra (A small run coin) were sold out.

Then inquired about silver bars , they only had two varieties of silver bars in stock.10oz and 100oz (1 kilo and 20 ounce being also sold out), i was able to pick up two 10 oz silver bars.I asked the woman at the bullion counter if it had been busy , she said it had been crazy busy the past week and also the Perth Mint refinery (near Perth airport) is currently undergoing upgrades which is further hurting production right now.3 month waiting list but you can only order bars on the waiting list not coins.

When President Barack Obama addressed the nation late on Sunday night to announce the death of Al Quaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, he confirmed that the U.S. “took custody of [Bin Laden's] body.” Special Operations forces confirmed through forensic and DNA testing that the body in custody was in fact that of the man the U.S. has hunted for nearly a decade.

We can expect photos to be taken of the body and, in all likelihood, released to the media in some form before the BODY IS BURIED by Monday afternoon in accordance with Muslim law. FOX News reports that the photo has already been shown on television in Pakistan, where Bin Laden was found in a mansion on a compound.

actually, it is PRETTY SIMPLE to explain! Our human brains are geared to two very basic tasks:
#1. we are geared to THINK in terms of OUR immediate AND longer-term SURVIVAL (eg, storing food for winter); and
#2. we are SOCIAL ANIMALS, GEARED to cooperate in social groups.

Cooperating in social groups (especially re ‘SPECIALIZATION” of specific skills that will help that group meet survival challenges) is our BEST BET for long term survival… BUT! the flip-side is, long term SUCCESS (at beating deadly threats around our little social group) leads directly, inexorably, to FUTURE GROWTH, which puts NEW LIMITS on the eco/enviro system’s ability to feed us all as our population grows!
Chimpanzees deal with this little problem by WARFARE between neighboring troupes, or PURGES – the EXPULSION of a quantity of members of one troupe – when food resources get scarce. (Wolves, lions, & other social predators of course deny their weakest members meat when the hunting gets scarce, leading to expulsion/death of Omega individuals, but it is more dramatic in chimpanzees). Humans of course operate by same rules of Chimps – you MUST KNOW who is THE MOST POWERFUL MEMBER of the troupe, and KOW-TOW to him/them, otherwise RISK beatings, EXPULSION, and/or death!
Since we humans (in “civilized” society) have mostly ELMINATED the threat of big, dangerous animals killing us, the #1 THREAT to our SURVIVAL is getting on the WRONG SIDE of the AUTHORITIES who RUN the troupe/clan/tribe/state/empire! (or, if you are far enough down the social totem pole, maybe your local hoodlums and gangsters.)
Unless you are CLOSE TO THE TOP in power, connections, wealth, and ambitions (and thus have pretensions about becoming the Alpha #1. ruler yourself), then you probably SPEND MOST OF YOUR MENTAL ENERGY in social situations figuring out HOW NOT TO CROSS the authority figures in your life !!!
(including local hoodlums, who “own” their crime-ridden stomping grounds.)

Which Sea, exactly? Fukushima Coast? Mare Tranquilitatis?

People that can set up a million-dollar Obsamaplex in plain sight, might be able to dump and anchor a structure on the sea floor, connected to a surface “raft” by optic fiber and steel cable. His family is gigantically into construction and business, after all.

The cruise ships from everywhere would be sure to stop there. Special tours, on the way back from Mecca, practically a must. I can’t believe historically smart merchant folk aren’t thinking the same thing.

In fairness, the original growth projections were ridiculous.

The Irish Department of Finance (DOF) are the most deluded morons in Ireland.

Ever dog on the street knows Ireland is still contracting.

The DOF are using our export figures to make it look like the economy is growing, but these aren’t real exports. They aren’t some massive steel factory exporting a load of silver. The vast majority of our exports are accounting tricks used by the likes of Microsoft to claim all their localised products were shipped via Ireland. Sure, their localisation centre really is in Ireland, but do you really think $2 billion of Microsoft Office was really developed, packaged and shipped via Ireland? Of course not.
