  1. Brilliant stuff. Even the act of painting the bank was a WORK OF ART in itself. He was an outstallation. Looking forward to this KR.

  2. We don’t really hate banksters, do we? They are still human, aren’t they?

  3. We live in a hopelessly corrupted system… Discussing the details may help one feel better but it does little to correct the situation.

The USG is now preparing some show prosecutions of the banksters in an effort to placate the electorate before the 2012 election. Do not be fooled, nothing will change until the whole thing crashes and burns.

As Mike Maloney said: “If the system crashes it will not matter if you are rich”… paraphrase. We will all be grabbing for the same life preserver

  4. @Flopot For me the art here is the performance – the act of sitting in front of the bank and painting it burning. It’s provocative, and suggests wishful thinking. Not sure if the Police would respond here in London, but in the US they obviously do. I think it’s a nice idea. Maybe a bit of voodoo going on – I haven’t heard the interview yet, maybe he says these things. Would be interesting to arrange a large art class, all sitting in front of the bank, doing burning paintings at same time!

  5. 8 BALL……Yep, this a token gesture and nothing more.

I actually think this is an indicator as to how close to the edge we are, that the authorities feel the need to present the electorate with this bit of utter symbolic theatre.

The fragile and crumbling banking sector is clear to be seen, and this move has been done in the full knowledge of the impact on what little so called confidence there is.

The dam wall is going to go, whether they arrest or incarcerate a token few or not, and they know it!

Such legal cases, invariably go on for many years, and at the end of it all, what do you get but a watered down token verdict, that usually results in some unknown miscreant being used as a scapegoat. And soon after that their sentence appealed and is cut to something akin to spitting on the sidewalk.

There are thousands involved who will need to be brought to justice. Actually 10s of thousands!

Now call me a bleeding heart liberal if you like, but no sentence should start at less than 25 years with no possibility of parole or that good behaviour crap.

Treason and mass murder should carry the heaviest penalties of course………….Z

To blunt, this shows how much the politicians are now absolutely shitting themselves, and seeking to distance their complicity with their brotherhood buddies.

They now can see that mob with pitchforks clearly in their minds, and they know its going to very ugly indeed………..Z

  6. On the topic of burning banks…

  8. Amazing that the faith of the Euro is now in the hands of a judge call Andrew Foxhole (Andreas Vosskuhle). Don’t expect something explicit, he is sitting in his legal trench, only objective is to defend the reputation of the court.

When he is going to allow the bailout on political grounds, he is like this:

  9. @MirrorMirror
    Thanks for the links.

I think the court will simply say now and the ECB will start printing, the Germans will control the printing with saying they might leave the Euro. Or the court says a bit of a yes, with some some restrictions that are basically also a no, because time runs out and the ECB just has to print.
In both scenarios they will be working on what they really want to achieve, political integration of Europe. First thing they insist on is German tax collectors in Greece. When they agree to this, Greece gets Eurobonds for 5%, nothing to say anymore and the European Fourth Reich run by Brussels is born.

  10. The art of SIMPLE … Lots of effort but This is NOT a job for money
Simple: nature provides 2 constantly moving, components to work with [1] information [2] energy
Simple: Energy gets things done…requires specific action.
Simple: Information needs to “transfer” to get at energy.
Simple: the on /off switch required; critical thinking.
Simple: an if. … Then function logic key … If there is no SIMPLE way then full stop! The critical thinking aspect needs time, tinkering and a reset. Patience.
Simple: You consult with nature, the ART is Simple, life works.
All simple, all stackable, all repeatable, dependable, all dirt cheap; problem solving[critical thinking] ability, the only ticket to play. No money required.

Complex: in above statements, replace “information,” with “misinformation” and add the concept of money as power, a far different environment.
Complex: present a contrast in environments. Over time U end up with the logic that “I need to kill u to get what I need” There is no simple way, misinformation trumps information, no transfer no access to energy, u will go to war….FULL STOP.

  11. @Chervonets … Links / my pleasure.

Just like – the gutless – politicians , the Court will find a way to wiggle out of any responsibility, putting the ball back in the politicians court.
This will go on while the EU thinks “great, things will slowly but surely develop our way”.
Buit before the “slowly but surely ” happens … the markets will break the Euro in a day. Then comes Lagard Lagarde to rescue us … LOL.

  13. @ Mirror Mirror, theres is paper talk now in the UK press that the UK has no option but to start printing.

Food riots definately on the cards now.

Here in the UK, so many will now be faced with the choice between heating OR eating this winter. Lets hope its a mild winter.

  26. Britain has just had two consecutive bad winters. Lots of snow. Another one is definitely a strong possibility. All the wild trees and shrubs are heavy with fruit which is usually a sign that winter will be hard.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6. The Bible. http://www.needgod.com

  29. Only internet e-banks 100% backed by silver and gold will preserve the division of labor in the coming years.

And that is good news: there is an incremental way out of this mess that the authorities may be relatively slow to clamp down on. That means we must protect the internet at all costs as the Statists and their puppetmasters, the Banksters, will eventually make a play to bring the net completely under their control, once they fully realize how decentralizing the phenomenon of the internet is. Our job is to make sure their efforts are too little and too late.

  35. What about bankers handing out toxic burning money? And people – men, women, children – catching fire, keeling over and spasming into death? Would that be ok? Bankers running about with flaming morgages and gallons of derivatives setting fire – sorry, F.I.R.E. – to houses, schools, créches, hospitals, jobs, and the now taboo police or zombie government of willing Renfields? Would that be ok?

  40. I am getting the feeling were right at the edge of the big slide Down. Things are starting to fall apart and not be lied about anymore. YOu can only prop up an world economy on so many lies. And its looking like the lies can’t hold back reality much more.

  42. The light in his paintings is handled well.

  43. right now the painting on ebay is going for about 3.5 ounces of gold

  44. just thinking for a moment in ancient cultures people were given dwellings as members of the tribe, the only way to lose it was to be exiled

it wasn’t until the industrial age that we sent people to the poor house or tossed them in the street

clean shelter is a basic human need – housing should be a right

  45. By mid-century, people were beginning to question the success of the poorhouse movement. Investigations were launched to examine the conditions in poorhouses. They had proven to be much more expensive than had been anticipated. And they had not significantly reduced the numbers of the “unworthy poor” nor eliminated the need for “outdoor relief”. [ This was public assistance given to those living outside the poorhouses. It was given somewhat grudgingly to those considered to be (perhaps!) more "worthy" poor --who might only briefly and temporarily require assistance to procure food or fuel or clothing when they fell on very short-term hard times.]

    @ Happy Dick

Thanks for the weather update for the UK. Not too promising.

Approximately 40,000 elderly die EVERY single year in the UK from hypothermia.

Its a national scandal in a so called 1st world “civilised” lol country. Imagine a soccer stadium full of dead people !

And people wonder why I get so angry on here.

Inflation, austerity etc. are going to guarantee more unnecessary deaths in this wonderful Kingdom of ours, where Royalty visit the poor to say, Oh hello peasants, how are you? Then get back in their limos to dive off to a gala banquet.

And of course the peasants bow and continue to worship.

This winter I know folks (not just the elderly now) that will have a choice between either freezing or eating. Many will die.

And of course its going to get much much worse.

I am sure the picture is the same all over the world, especially when I see the terrible scenes in places like Detroit.

Forget sending Christmas cards, send an email with a few kind words, and stick the money in the charity box for the elderly. Check on your old neighbours, make sure they have food in the fridge. Most are too proud to accept, so think of a good cover story if you donate a box of food.

The answer is love – just like John said. A very subversive idea that psychopaths have no answer for.

  54. 1 John 4:10
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

  55. Thanks Specky – I was talking about John Lennon, but that works too.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIfHsYWeC1Y

  56. Youri, that’s a very interesting recording. I’ve never heard that before. It seems he could see part of the problem but I think he makes the mistake of believing that man can find the solution within himself. The heart of man’s problem is his own heart.
Jeremiah 17:9″The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it”
Only God, the creator of the universe, can change that heart.
    Psalm 51:10
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

…and he does that by the imputation of righteousness. You see it’s not gold deposited in my bank account that will solve the problem. It’s the righteousness of Jesus Christ accredited to me and my sin transferred to Him that every man needs. What we see in the economic and political spheres is merely a symptom of human depravity. It’s also an example of God turning us over to our own sinful desires, judgement.

But if you think the situation we find ourselves in now is fearful, think about that day when God will come Himself and judge the world in
righteousness. “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

It’s time to repent and believe in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins.

‎1 hour 30 mins to go…. and still the high bidder on ebay…… Chase banking and burning banks by Alex Schaefer. This is too much… who would have thought… little ol’ me! LA Weekly says, “The irony is, only a banker could afford to bid for this painting”, WRONG! I am not a banker. I am a concerned Brit who thinks the banks have got it coming!! Oh well, whatever the outcome now, it’s been soooo much fun! :) )
