It’s interesting that Hollywood got a carve out for ‘box office futures’ markets (after Cantor Fitzgerald bought my HSX) – arguing that introducing these types of products would ruin the industry. No such protection for elections though, already plagued with ‘electronic’ voting that has thrown many of the recent elections in doubt.

I offer the following simple “demand” for consideration by OWS, as this one likely underscores almost every other. Or, at least, without it, all other demands may ultimately be rendered moot.
Here it is. One demand that seems simple enough — and is as non-partisan as can (be)— for your consideration:
Every U.S. citizen 18 years of age or older who wishes to vote, gets to vote. Period. Those votes, on hand-marked paper ballots, will be counted publicly, by hand, on Election Night, at the precinct, in front of all observers and video cameras.
Please help spread this to the Occupiers if you agree its important. For example, Tweet it (or a link to this article) like mad (with #ows in the text), and/or spread it via Facebook and/or print it out and take it to a General Assembly at an Occupation near you!

If only the vote was counted that way. But no way! The kleptocrats are rubbing their hands with glee now they can rig every election using MSM propaganda to influence the vote and using rigged electronic voting to decide the final result, if all goes wrong. There is no chance in hell that the banksters and their cronies in Washington will let that power slip from their grasp.
In fact, I can already see the headline, “Electronic voting is an American right!”. And then you feed this through your Orwellian-Double-Speak-O-Meter and out pops, “Electronic voting is clocking into the Bankster slave farm”.
Why would anyone bother betting on US elections ?
It would have to be done like a horse race, you couldn’t just have GOP v DEM that would not work. A game of Baccarat has more challenge to it. At least you can bet on a tie. Even in Roulette you have two green number 0 and 00.
