  1. Thanks, Stacy!

I tried listening to it live, but there was an important handball match between Serbia & Germany that distracted me… ;-)

I can now listen to it in peace. :-)

    Thanks again, Stacy! :-D

  2. Trade, governments and markets are tied to CHEAPOIL since 1963

  3. I love TAM!

  4. oh ya. Geithner gets a reach around.

  5. The server at ia700803.us.archive.org is taking too long to respond.

  6. @General Rasta @Jayme – well, it is cloud storage . . . who the eff knows, could have been taken down by Hollywood and the assets of everyone seized and transferred to Steven Spielberg; nothing is impossible as the empire collapses . . .

  7. What-me-worry?

Server has gone all dial-up on my broadband man.

  8. @The Gonch, I second that emotion.

  9. Yeah – it’s downloading !

  10. Hi Stacy & Max
You guys should seriously contemplate making a trip to Beijing or Shanghai and broadcast from the PRC. We “ChiCom” victims of police state can actually get your website and receive your Truth About Markets audio and the RT Keiser Report Video. We “ChiCom” in China are buying physical bullion. I know of 3 PH.D – Econ Professors at Beijing University & Tsinghua University who frequently listen to your broadcasts. Their English is quite good. 2 of them when they were young traded currency & oil before becoming Professors similar to your experience on Wall Street. Think about coming to China.

  11. Interesting hearing your experiences working in Hollywood. Most of my experience has been with the music and TV industries, not film. I wish you had said more about the porn industry, Max. Most of the people I have encountered in Hollywood observe the heirarchy in which porn is treated as a very distant cousin one has never met and would rather not know.

  12. @ maxkeiser & stacyherbert.

Thanks for posting TaM I love TaM. Missed it much over the last few weeks.

Had some trouble with the download @ archive. I think it was a player issue.

I can imagine Camoron saying something like Moral Capitalism, It only goes to show that he has absolutely no Idea.

Responded in a Fallujah kind of way. Good analogy @ stacyherbert, I look forward to hearing more of those comparisons.

RT is winning because its the only news service of this type left in the world.

You can not live without the dollar, *chuckles* nice one @ stacyherbert, @ maxkeiser, love and hate are both strong emotions. Blinded by love, or in the case of the dollar, they were in lust, just c^&* struck for a few decades.

The Bi-lateral currency exchanges are becoming more normal and these are being facilitated by IPI or the Peace Pipe as it is known. China wants in on that project too.

What ! I’ve been colateralised by Hollywood, I feel all sort of dirty now, Thinks Mel Brooks and Spring Time for Hitler.

One of the reasons I don’t watch any American films with rare exceptions, is because I know the entire story within the frost few minutes of the film, at what point the love interest will be introduced
I follow the directors not the actors.

Thanks for focusing on Hollywood and its machine, In the days before film, people who tried to taller with the paper would end up going through the Mangle.

I suppose thats what the Hollywood machine does, if you get too close to it, you get dragged into the machine, crushed and moulded by gears and cogs.

Looks dangerous I wouldn’t want to get pulled through that.

  13. Absolutely right Stacy. Ron Paul has been consistent as far back as I’ve listened.

You cannot install, download, watch, or lend anything without sacrificing personal rights anymore. I was reading the copyright information in the front of a book this morning (Plato’s Republic) that said you couldn’t even LEND the book to anyone else without permission from the publisher and you can’t take it outside the U.S.! What BS.

This nonsense of control is done not just in the movie business but in every corporation as well. Signing the paperwork gives away all liberty, simply to have a job. People sign their lives away because they want to eat and no one eats unless they serve the system that eats their souls. This whole system of corporatist control has got to be rewritten.

  14. /me knocking on Steven Spielberg’s door.

Me: “Hey! Where’s my fucking money, Spielberg?”
Steven Spielberg: ” I’m using it to produce Jurassic Park IV.”
Me: “Cool! Well, in that case, can I have a bit part as one of the extras who get eaten?”

  15. I’m puzzled how you said you were surprised/didn’t see it coming about Obama, Max, very little homework was needed to know how him being in office was going to turn out. Quite a few of us had checked and were vocal about it.

  16. Stacy the name of the Black Activist on Democracy Now is Kevin Grey – https://www.facebook.com/kagamba

He’s usually on with Dave Marsh, Bruce Springsteen’s former manager. He has a show called Hopes and Dreams Sunday’s on Sirius Left. The boil both the GOP and the Dems…

  17. Although Ron Paul saya a lot of things I agree with, I think his ideas are not as anti-elite as he sounds…His austerity differs in degree, not kind, from the other Repubs…His programs are hyper-deflationary…totally destructive.

Also, on foreign policy, if he is elected by some miracle, I think in the end it will be a variant of the Barack Obama experience all over again…anti-war, yes, until he’s in office..then it all changes..

  18. Paul wants to cut $1 trillion immediately, if elected. If he is blocked from doing that, he will be deemed ineffective. If he succeeds, well, what’s the reverse multiplyer effect of removing that much spending, quickly, on this moribund economy?

  19. @Mark Lytle
    >His austerity differs in degree, not kind, from the other Repubs

Kindly stop talking out of your ass, you only have yourself to believe your tripe.

  20. “His programs are hyper-deflationary…totally destructive”

It’s humorous to me when the people who benefit the most from a monetary system backed by nothing but perception, hate on Gold or Silver backed currency. The only thing that will be destroyed are the lives of Traders and Bankers.

  21. Hey Guys,

    Great show,.

Stacy, too true about how you tube contracts fail to protect the anyone other than the themselves and the big t.v/record companies.

what will be funny is that after introducing sopa a pipa people still wont go to the movies a: because they are too poor, or b: they know that transformers 4 is a pile of crap.

all music is manufactured to the point where any emotion in it is designed to sedate you. where are our angry artist crying out for justice and freedom? too busy selling out to pay for their pensions.

  22. @Stacey

I see you and Max are coming around to the carbon/credit view. Any luck to visit Amsterdam soon (free ticket!), or could a new interview in Paris be arranged?

I am greaing up my barter system, my democracy site and am working on cheap and easy type of money (money with an ownership register)..

    Cheers,
    Frits

  24. Interesting comments:

“It’s humorous to me when the people who benefit the most from a monetary system backed by nothing but perception, hate on Gold or Silver backed currency. The only thing that will be destroyed are the lives of Traders and Bankers.”

Who are you talking to? Explain why you think I benefit from fiat currency. Explain why you think I ‘hate’ PM’s. Explain why taking $1 trillion out of the economy won’t collapse it, and who is going to feed the millions left without benefits.

  25. Webster Tarpley on his world crisis radio show has many comments against Ron Paul’s policies.Be interesting to interview him about them.

  26. The speed in which congress folded due to the reaction of the SOPA and PIPA bills are and were NOT unprecedented. Remember the reaction to Bush wanting to sell US ports? That deal had collapsed in a few days!

  27. @luke

I heard Webster Tarpley also, and truthfully, this is where I picked up on the shortcomings of Paul’s programs.

  28. @ Aimee, yes, at first, but then the ports were sold and leased out later, after the dust settled and when the news shifted back to the latest celebrity distraction. We must beware that TPTB will do that with SOPA/PIPA. The legislation is only put on hold, not killed totally.

I do think the speed at which Congress backed down may have had something to do with moms. Congress backed into the PTA buzzsaw. When all those mothers realized they could lose online access to research sites and therefore they would have to take the kids to the library to finish school assignments, they called their Congresscritters in a fury. Teachers would have been calling, too. It was the PTA. Nobody messes with them.

  29. @MEJ, you’ll have to show me where that took place. I have not heard of the ports having been sold or leased after that idea had been defeated. I just did a search to see if I could find any sources that supports your claim and wasn’t able to come up with any such information. Furthermore, the internet has become a wonderful tool, however I’d like to point out that this had occurred before the internet had become so ubiquitous. The internet isn’t necessarily creating any new phenomenons. If the idea is unpopular it can and has become well known and understood and therefore popularly defeated.

  30. I can’t believe it, Bob Dole was the lobby for the Dubai state owned enterprise that we were being coerced into allowing the sale to? I used to like that guy, what a corrupt little pig! I just found this out and as if I wasn’t disgusted as it is this just makes it that much worse! I think this issue should be brought back out into the public and reexamined. This exposes the hypocrisy and corruption . . . “All lies, more lies, still lying”. Where do these people come from?

  31. @ Aimee, I remember reading about it a few months after the hullaballoo died down. The port near New York city, can’t remember if it was in New Jersey, was leased out to Dubai or a Spanish firm. I will look up the story again. I do recall thinking at the time that nobody could trust the government even when it backed down.

    .
    brainchild idea. politics

  33. @MEJ, There certainly seem to be many conflicting reports regarding this issue. Some indications are that some sort of a deal took place because there was a sale of ports by Dubai that took place later. There are also conflicting reports that Bob Dole may have ultimately refused to lobby on Dubai’s half, in which my faith perhaps in some small way may be restored. Regardless this appears to be a matter that should be revisited for so many reasons.

  34. @ Aimee, the news I was thinking of turned out to be ownership of terminals, not the entire port. Your memory is more accurate than mine! :) According to the CFR, foreign state ownership of terminals at a USA port after the Dubai debacle was only by Singapore, the rest were by companies that wanted their own terminals within USA ports. http://www.cfr.org/port-security/uae-purchase-american-port-facilities/p9918#p9

  35. @MEJ, Based on our findings this is an issue that Max should make note of since once the sale of these ports were made known to the public it was negatively received and the proponents of these sales were IMMEDIATELY forced to abandon the idea. Like I mentioned earlier with what had happened with the SOPA and PIPA, although they’re likely to attempt to establish these bills again in one form or another, such denial of this type of legislation, so negatively received by the public, is NOT a new phenomenon. Furthermore, there seems to have been an argument that the internet has allowed for a more immediate response by the public. However, more than likely the reason for the strong negative public reaction to the SOPA and PIPA bills was actually BECAUSE of the internet.

  36. TaM goes quite well with a late breakfast.

  37. @ Jayme . Thanks for Ron Paul Links. If I was in USA I would vote for him.
I see Bill Still sicks up for him too.

  38. interesting. are you gonna tell me the player of the music at the end and beginning?

  39. I was just about to jump out the window after weeks without TAM. Good thing I checked one more time…
