If anyone has any global warming they don’t want, please send it to South west Holland (near the coast). We got up to -6C in full on all day sunshine but the nights are -15C and that’s in the village. (Less than 2,000 metres to the North Sea. Groede, Zeelandic Flanders).
Well done for a 2,000 strong showing in Stockholm. That’s pretty amazing for Stockholm when it’s -20C daytime. I spent a few months in Sodermalm, Stockholm a while back in the winter. It was perishing! (It’s cool though, that you can fish for wild Salmon right in the heart of the old town in February/March). I think this gives a clear indication of what they can expect as the year goes forward. People are starting to realise that the only way to stop the madness is to say no way in no uncertain terms.
We’re as mad as hell and we aren’t going to take this anymore!!!!!

North Dakota is the coldest state in the US. And that includes Alaska. I know because I live next door in Minnesota. That is a common trivia in these parts of the country. For the last 3 months my natural gas bill totaled $220l. Usually it is over $200 per month during these months. The winter sports industry is talking a big hit. Ice fishing has been banded in some areas, or was pushed back to February. They put up towns, complete with power lines on some of the bigger lakes in the north. That is not happening on some of the lakes now. Saying this is a freaky winter is an understatement.

Just to clarify my position re: global warming:
I do believe that there is global warming overall, though I’m not sure it is 100% man-made, I do think that it is in part due to a natural cycle (which part I don’t know).
But one thing that bugs me about man-made global warming is that no one talks about the effects wars have on the environment, or at least I haven’t heard or read anyone talking about it.
I have thus far avoided commenting anything on global warming since I do not feel educated and informed enough on that subject, though I will try to make it up and inform myself.
My comment to Danny shouldn’t have been taken seriously but I did make a mistake in phrasing it and I apologize to everyone here for that.
Those are my two cents re: global warming, FWIW.

After the Change Coming…I see a large return to our agricultural roots, tariffs on imports, and an eventual return to manufacturing…..which, over decades, will reverse the flow of jobs, off-shore profiteering and R&D. A long, hard road ahead…..and I fear way too many Americans still have that sense of Entitlement not easily shed.

The Shah Deniz consortium is not sold on Nabucco, nor TAP, or ITGI, but instead is lobbying Azerbaijan to support its own recently unveiled proposal, the [SEEP system].
