    Too funny! Silver metal heads rock! Lemmy’s voice is still the hardest and best ‘eavy me’al voice of all time.
    A Gibson Les Paul (made in USA), and a Wall o’ Marshall amps (made in England) two products that have not yet been offshored.

    Now there’s a piece that took some skill and real talent.
    Nicely antithetical to the usual liberal stoop to Symbol over Substance.

    “Just cos’ you got the power”, just off the top of my head, would be SO much better.

    Suggested it as an anthem to Occupy St Pauls, but they’d never heard of it, and I was drunk at the time so I went on a rant that the reason why’d they’d gotten so little traction was cos there weren’t any decent protest songs, lol.
    For YEARS I avoided Motorhead because of Ace of Spades. I heard Lemmy give an interview where he said it was a millstone round his neck & having never been a fan of the song, thought that was that, worth ignoring. But then I heard some of their other stuff & I’ve been hooked since. It’s not even the best song on the album. Love me like a reptile, Shoot you in the back, the hammer, they’re all equal if not better than AoS. Doesn’t even sound like a Motorhead song, really.
    “You better run” has ‘silver bullets’ in a line.
    “Silver machine”, by hawkwind, a band lemmy was in, I can hear Max screaming “silvah masheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen”

    The thing is, that video is great, and obviously took a lot of work. But that song… Oh well, I should learn to animate if I’m gonna bitch.

    Wayne Bardell & Doug Smith, producer and manager of HAWKWIND and MOTORHEAD at Acton Green Music, would like this! I wish I still had the clockwork Motorhead Skull desk-top toy that Wayne used to promote the album. Mick Farren and The Good Guys, “Vampires Stole My Lunch Money”

    @OlympiaLogger
    Thanks for the recommendation! If nothing else this’ll be good for dabbling.

    ROFL, I’ve even seen Lemmy perform ace of spades live. Here a lesser known version on the Young Ones comedy show,
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTd1SSYYyss
    ”In reality, Lemmy’s lived in this completely shitty two-bedroom apartment in West Hollywood for over twenty years, apparently never cleaning it during that time period.”
    I heard hes never ever cleaned his shades either-if you look closely on the young ones clip they do look really dirty.
    Michael seens as you mention it, here is ‘Silver Machine’,

    Total class! Hawkwind’s one and only minor hit lol.
