A wedding present from CERN to Janes Cecil Scott Moores, on the 6th instant.
    IPv6.
Sir John wished that his Capital Transfer Tax went to “Education” … “There is not enough “Blue Skies Research” was the outcry mid 1980′s…/Soooo… a crackpot Professor from Edinburgh University, Dr. Hiigs, suggested they build an even bigger atom smasher….blah!
Sir John’s heir, (to the then world’s largest fortune’ was a fan of Arthur C. Clarke, who in 1974 predicted the INTERNET on CNN (???) James’s tag in 1985 was “Telepatic Communicator” (a pager service) There was a team of rookie post graduates at CERN lead by a nerd names Tim (Sir Tim, today) who believed that a “hypertext transfer protocol” was hyothetically possible. “Let young Tim play, when he learns that a “http” is impossible, he will have learnt a good lesson!”

1990 Glastonburt International Arts Fesival, British Telecom present a preview of a working “http” …..”It will never catch on! mark my word!” was the general consensus.

Rest In Peace Sir John, Your fortune has been allocated as best we can in accordance with your wishes. may “Pax Technologica” your’s and many other’s hope and dream, be blessed…. IPv6 is one hundred trillion trillion times larger than the Internet we currently use. and BTW CERN..good luck with the LHC. Les Horribles Cernettes, (formed 15th July 1990) were the first World Wide Website. and thanks for singing me “Happy Birthday” on that day. you should have thanked James Moores, not me! Let us hope! for without ‘hope’ we are surely lost at sea! This universe is a large ocean to be lost in!

  2. in debt and fumming

Max, what you are doing is absolutely amazing to watch.

1 man against the banks… and you may just win in the end!

You took it upon yourself to go to Greece and educate them – and I can see in their eyes the dots being connected.

If Greece tell the ECB to go screw themselves, it COULD just turn the rest of europe around (once they see it can be done).

    Awesome.

    Let’s keep going!!!!!!

If the Greeks will accept reality and quickly move to the Drachma, even facing immediate devaluation, they may be the only country in Europe that even HAS a currency when the Euro implodes.
